The room was small, but overall everything else was good. However, I had one concern during checkout: the front desk asked if two people from our room had eaten lunch at the hotel and were about to charge us for it, which we hadn’t. While they corrected the issue (didn't charge), they did not apologize for their error. I believe an apology would have been appropriate and would have left a better impression.

We were in a room with a king size bed facing the arena. The room is clean and comfortable. There are cafe nearby and Bercy Metro is just outside of the hotel which makes it easy to get to places. Full continental breakfast was included. Staff are courteous. If looking for something to eat that's close by we can recommend Rambo a Cambodian restaurant.

Hotel was amazing. Room was a little hot for our liking as the air con only went to 19.5C but the room was practical and comfortable. We liked the separate toilet and the bathroom had a separate bath and shower which was handy for our disabled child.

We were very pleased with this location. The staff was amazing. We liked having a bar/restaurant within the hotel. The hotel gave lots of great advice and tips. My mom got sick while on the trip and the staff was so helpful in getting a doctor to the hotel. The hotel provided a wheelchair for my mom when checking out. The staff would call a car for us when needed. I only wish it was a little closer to everything because the hotel was fantastic.

I want to say it was a mis Comunications but the Gentleman insisted in arguing with me for no reason so I think it was still a misunderstanding. The use of metro and other public transportation systems is very convenient and easy. The area also has a lot of dining options. Most of the people are tourists so language is not a problem as long as you know English. Only the breakfast was not that good as it was the same options of food every day. The hotel was very good, but with a four-star rating I would have expected a few minor things that would have made changed my rating of 'very good' to 'excellent'. In all 4 star (and most 3 star) hotels that I have stayed in they have an ironing board and iron in each room as standard - not so in Novotel Bercy though they can be supplied once requested. Also, some milk or creamer for the (supplied) coffee maker would be helpful. We didn't avail of the breakfast buffet - at €21 p.p. that seemed excessive. There is a lovely traditional café (Café Bercy) across the road that has a Breakfast 'formule' for just €9 and is excellent. First-world issues, but hey you did ask.

Worst experience of staying at a hotel in 40 yrs of life. Manager Lydia is an awful terrible ignorant rude racist lady who will go an extra 100 miles to make your life hell. She did it for us. We confirmed before arriving that we could leave our luggage at hotel and they said only if we booked a night stay on return date. We did it. She blatantly refused keeping our luggage despite knowing my family with 2 small kids was running against time to catch international train. Even in saying no to our luggage she was so rude and abusive. She has no manners. In fact I could tell she was deriving pleasure in making our lives difficult. She has no understanding of hotel industry politness - even if you are saying no pls say politely..and on top of it she is in leadership role so ofcourse her subordinates will learn her great skills. I cancelled all my subsequent Novotel bookings and will urge all my near and dear ones to stay away from this hotel chain..I have lodged official complain with management against her and will pursue this issue until an action is taken.
