The room was outdated and poorly fitted. You barely had any space to use for your clothes or other items. During raining water started to drip from the ceiling which started in the early morning so your sleep was ruined.

Top notch, a very enjoyable stay in a great hotel where all my expectations were met.
Really lovely staff and a filling breakfast too with lots of items on the buffet table.
Some great food options nearby and two Metro Stations within a five minute walk, no need to stay anywhere else in Paris as far as I'm concerned.

We stayed from the 17th to the 21st of February on Room 707, a suite that had a bedroom, living room with sofa bed, and a bathroom will full size tub. The room was perfect four our family of four with two young children under eight. The rooms had plenty of light, especially when the curtains were pulled back. It was very quiet and relaxing. The front desk staff were all helpful and friendly and spoke English if you needed it. A simple, \"Bon Jour, parlez vous Anglais?\" goes a long way in Paris. The hotel is close to multiple Metro lines and there are restaurants and shops right outside within one block.

The breakfast buffet was very nice and more expansive than you may find in other hotels that simply offer coffee and croissants They have eggs, bacon, sausage, and cereals, as well as French staples, cheeses, meats, yogurts, breads, croissants, jams, fruit, and juices.

If you have a family, I would definitely recommend our room suite as other rooms can be smallish.

Oh yeah, three days a week, there is a local market on the street outside the hotel, so peruse that for some real local flavor and foods.

All in all, we had a great experience at the hotel and found that it met all of our needs. A great stay!

Staff at reception was very helpful, even kept the room ready for early check in by 11 am, really appreciate that. Room was clean and comfy, would prefer more carpeted floor as it was cold even with heating on. Metro station was around 5 mins walk.

Only thing we do not like about was Breakfast. Not many options for Vegan / Vegetarians (breads, mixed fruits and some variety of croissants, there were much more options in Meat / Non vegetarian), and exact same menu for all 3 days which was not very pleasing. Also, the breakfast area was small and the staff there was not very helpful to us atleast.

The room was small, but perfect for just my daughter and I. It was clean and really close to the Metro. There are lots of shops: supermarket, bakery, and cafes along the road. Although there was alot nearby, it was still lovely and quiet. We slept well. Fab shower. Good price!

This hotel is very unassuming and tucked at the back of the street, yet it was the perfect place for us. It was quiet and clean. the most impressive quality was the staff who were very helpful, polite and kind. We got to the hotel early - very tired from our overnight flight. We were willing to wait and didn't even ask to have our room early. The manager was quick to offer us a room if we could wait just for 5 minutes. He wanted to make sure that the room was ready. I was not sure if breakfast was included with our room. when I checked with the front desk, he informed me that breakfast was not included but we were invited to join them for breakfast as their guest. Who does that in this day and age!!!
We only stayed there for one night before our AirB&B was ready. they kept our luggage for the whole day while we went sight seeing.
On my next trip to Paris, I will stay there for the whole time I am there.

Property looks old,small rooms but tidy and looked after. Service and breakfast was excellent. The only failure was broken down lift and we have to take the stairs with our small luggages after long tiring trip to Paris. Will still recommend anyone visiting Bercy Paris suburb.

We enjoyed staying 4 nights. The place is clean, close to shopping, several dining options, just few mins walk to two metro stations. We didn't get to check the breakfast as we were leaving early morning for tours. The only complaint is the room is very small and I presume this is the case in Paris. There is no dresser/cupboard to keep personal stuff. Definitely recommend this place.

Quiet little hotel on a quiet street. Nothing out of the ordinary for the hotel but my room was extremely humid for some reason. We tried hanging clothes to dry and they were still wet after 3 days whereas I didn't have the same problem in any of the other hotels I stayed at.

This hotel is an option if you need to take an early train like me to Gare de Lyon and don't want to pay the premium for closer (and potentially better) hotels.

Nice looking hotel and friendly staff but had to room change after previous guest had flooded bathroom onto room carpet which was soaking wet when we walked in and left to dry unnoticed so room stank of damp. New room had no hairdryer or water. Staff helpful but a shame about the room.

First time in Paris

We had an amazing first time in Paris, the hotel surrounding feels like your own neighborhood lots of things around within walking distance, restaurants, bakeries, train entries and also open market right in front of the hotel. The room We stay very small but in Paris it is common so We adjust to that, at night the sign of the hotel and entry need a light to help seen the hotel. Besides that everything was perfect and definitely We’ll comeback again. We used this hotel for an overnight stay in Paris in route to our destination in Italy. We were taking the train from Gare de Lyon station and the hotel was somewhat close and in our desired price range. The hotel staff let us check in many hours early and this was a life saver after traveling by coach class from Dallas. The bedroom area was small (typical for Europe) but very clean, the bathroom was modern and also clean, bed extremely comfortable and WiFi fast. We did not eat at the hotel but the restaurant was in a garden setting and very inviting. The hotel staff also let us keep our rather large luggage in their secure area prior to us leaving after check out. I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at this hotel...

Good lodging at a budget price

This hotel is in a “normal” neighborhood so don’t expect to see any souvenir shops. It’s in a little lower-income area with several vacant store spaces but we didn’t feel unsafe walking around. There’s a metro stop at the nearby traffic circle, less than a 5-minute walk. Our room was tiny but cute. It had a window opening onto the courtyard, with thick bamboo screening our view. The shower was wonderful, though the curtain wasn’t quite long enough and the floor got wet. The bed was comfy. No dresser for storage, but there were some shelves near the door. Hallways are very narrow and dark-paneled, which could be a problem for someone who’s claustrophobic. The elevator was a tight fit for four average-sized adults even with no luggage. Staff were friendly and spoke some English. You can leave your luggage with them for a while after you check out. We didn’t have the hotel breakfast so can’t comment on that. We checked out on a Friday morning and walked outside to find a neighborhood street market going on! All in all a good experience.

Nice rooms, beautiful courtyard garden and breakfast area! Breakfast was delicious, had croissants/ chocolate croissants, coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea, orange juice, eggs, ham, cereals among many other things. Also, many of these items were either organic or vegan as well.

Untimely renovations

Location away from main Paris attraction but close to Gare de Lyon. Cute courtyard. We arrived before lunchtime so did not expect to be able to get the room right away. We arrived in the lobby while in was undergoing major renovations, we were immediately covered in a could of plaster dust, someone was sanding the ceiling in the small lobby. I reminded the man at the reception that we had requested 2 singled beds, he said that would not be a problem. When we cam back at the end of the day, the woman working the reception told us the room number and said she did not know if it was 1 double or 2 singles and the hotel was fully booked up! I walked in the office behind, the man I had spoken to earlier was there, and he got our room changed.
The room was really small, I mean you cannot open your suitcase. But it was very clean with a modern bathroom. We stayed 3 nights, by the time we left the lobby renovations were completed.

'A room with a view'

Upon approach to the hotel, I thought that we’d hit the jackpot, nice looking building, lovely courtyard embellished with giant bamboo’s. When I opened the glass French doors to the ‘twin room’ I could have cried. The ‘room’ felt like I was staying in a summerhouse in the garden of the hotel. So narrow that the beds could not be split. We felt like we were participating in a wedding when a wedding party literally partied at the end of the beds on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday morning, I showered in view (slightly obscured by the voiles at the window) of the guests enjoying their breakfast in the courtyard, 3 meters from the room – an experience absolutely but not one that I’d ever repeat.

Easy access from Gare Cornavin. Clean rooms, large screen TV, nice bathrooms, in room coffee maker and central AC. I am usually picky about hotels and enjoyed my stay. The rooms are cozy, not large, but bigger than usual European rooms. Some TV channels didn't work but most did. There's a steam/sauna room and gym downstairs. Pretty good experience.

After been left in paris by hotels.com with nowhere to stay as the first hotel wouldn't allow our dog having booked it with dog we ended up in this ant ridden hotel. It had no welcome at reception at any point and in the back end of paris. Not a wake up happy as your motto explains. We will not be booking with hotels.com again.

A clean and quiet hotel in Paris

The room was not big but with a smart layout, and everything was very clean. The furniture is quite modern and there were some nice touches waiting for us in the room, like green apples on the pillows... There is a nice little patio with bamboos in front of the reception desk and the sector is surprisingly quiet for Paris. Wifi and TV were spotless ! The hotel is very easy to find, a stone's throw away from Daumesnil metro station.

This has to be one of the best value for money hotels I got in Paris. Not really cheap, but it was well worth it compared to many hotels in the same price category.

Nice hotel 20 minute walk from Gare de Lyon

The hotel is set off a courtyard on a pleasantly busy street about a 20 minute walk from the Gare de Lyon train station. The room was very clean, on the small side (not unusual for moderately-priced European hotels), with fresh white linens and a whimsical touch of green apples sitting on top of the pillows. The bathroom (with shower only) was also small but clean and perfectly adequate. My only complaint was that the hotel employee who worked the night shift was not particularly customer service oriented. There were two times he was helping other customers that I had a long wait for a very quick question and it seemed like he was avoiding eye contact with me; a few basic courtesies and pleasantries would have gone a long way. Also, you may need to announce yourself when you arrive, as the single employee on duty is sometimes in a back room.

Good solid choice in a fairly central location

Nice little hotel. Newer, clean and larger than I am used to in Paris. It is a short walk out of the centre or a quick metro ride. The surrounding neighbourhood isn't particularly hip or interesting but the hotel is much cleaner and modern than you will get for the price elsewhere.

After spending the night in a smaller hotel room that was more expensive in a busier part of Paris, this hotel felt like a sanctuary in the city to me.The room was not big, but it was sized right. It overlooked a lovely courtyard. The courtyard in the entry was also a nice way to enter the hotel.

The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is that is isn't close to a lot of popular tourist attractions. This is also what is great about it, as a foreigner I felt more immersed in everyday Parisian culture.

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience.

(Single room) - Simple but comfortable

I had a single room, which had a twin bed and small bedroom. Despite the small size, the room was very clean and well-stocked. It didn't feel claustrophobic. The proprietors were friendly and accommodating despite my very late arrival.
