Staff were very friendly and helpful! We got locked out of our room a day early because our check-out day was incorrect in the system, and they fixed it in about 30 seconds. The room was clean and well air conditioned (perfect temperature for the heat wave). Nice area, people were friendly and lots of delicious food and metro stop nearby.

It is a sort of boutique hotel with rooms in several separate buildings connected by court yards. People at the reception desk are very friendly with good smiles and helpful. Once you get used to it, it is only 5-10 min walk from the train, metro and bus station, Nation. A variety of cafes, restaurants in 10 min walking distance
Rooms are small, but well equipped including a good-size microwave, stove, fridge, pot, pan and utensils. THere is a room for improvement, such as hall way carpet and room floor carpet, but the hotel perhaps doing the step-by-step renovation.

The room was clean, the staff were excellent, the patio gardens were lovely! Close to bus stops and metro stops that can take us to all the must-see spots in Paris for us! Also, a very nice neighbourhood with restaurants and a bakery, we never got hungry. The bathroom could use some work (pipes and wall holes are visible and I'm not sure if there was proper ventilation - didn't see an exhaust fan) but it is functional. No terrace, but we were at the top floor and it was nice and quiet. We got back to the hotel quite late at night for most of our 3 nights stay, and we appreciated the peace (street noise was far, not inexistent) after a fun but tiring day. There was a mini kitchen with cutlery, dishes, an electric kettle with a very good selection of complementary coffee and tea, and a microwave (which a staff member helped me use). Overall, we had an amazing time in Paris thanks to Le Patio Bastille!

Located within an easy walk of several metro stations, this was a great place for us to stay during a few nights in Paris. We were there during the heat wave so the air-conditioning was a nice break in the middle of the day for us if that’s something that is important to you. Staff was helpful. The patio areas are welcoming. It was a good day.

This is an old, run-down hotel that looks NOTHING like the pics. It is not in a good area (we had to be there for work) so we did not expect the Ritz, but it was Really BAD. Our room was not ready when we arrived, so we PAID, checked in, and left our bags. When we returned a few hours later, the man at reception could not even find our reservation! We gave our names, passports, and even the room number we were told we'd get, but it still took him 15 minutes to find the room we ALREADY PAID FOR. Then he rolled out someone else's luggage, because he couldn't find ours! Each bag is numbered and tagged, so this carelessness is inexcusable. Also, there is not enough hot water for 2 people to take a shower after a 15 hour flight, nor do they have ice (!) bc they lost the recipe. TRULY AWFUL - you will do better to stay in a hostel.

Beautiful hotel. A bit tricky to navigate with a bit of an odd layout and spiral stairs that can be hard to get heavy luggage up and down, but very beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
The place is clean and has a/c and feels more modern.
Only thoughts were:
1. It was freezing, I tried to turn the a/c down it was so cold. I even started to get a bit of a stuffy nose from the cold. All-in-all with it being 28 degrees outside it wasn't the worst problem to have.
2. The tv didn't work. Again, not a huge deal. I didn't go the Paris to watch TV
3. The double bed was essentially two twin beds put together. As someone who sleeps in the middle this was tricky at night as they separated a bit. But again, not a major problem. I bet it would be easier for couples.
Great spot, super convenient and really excellent staff.

This is a nice boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The garden/courtyard is cute and our room was comfortable and accommodated three adults nicely. Both the queen bed and twin bunk bed was comfortable which was a pleasant surprise for a twin bed. The bathroom was okay, but could use some improvements. For instance, the glass that served as the door for the shower was so small that it was impossible not to get water everywhere while showering.
It is an easy walk to the metro and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the property. If you want to be closer to iconic Paris attractions, I suggest you look for a different neighborhood, we knew we would be taking the metro and were fine with that for this trip.

The hotel is in an older building The lobby is nice when you walk in. But our room was located in the back building. We had to use two different elevators and walk through an outdoor courtyard with old, unpainted furniture with a broken sun umbrella. I was a bit worried what our room was going to look like. It was dated and the carpet was dirty but, the bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom towels were very thin. Room had a nice small kitchenette but we didn’t use it.

Location is excellent. A short walk to Nation Metro station with many trains going thru. Not that far from Gare de Lyon train station either. You can take a direct bus (60 mins) or Metro (30 mins) to the Tower. Place de la Bastille, a lovely square with many shops and restaurants, is just a few bus stops away.

Our room has a separate bedroom plus a mini stove top, microwave, utensils and a pan for cooking, which is quite nice. Facing the charming little inside courtyard, we didn't hear street noise.

Hot breakfast is adequate. Overall a lovely stay

10. There is s small garden in the middle where you can spend time to eat, drink, smoke.

I had a generally good stay at Le Patio Bastille. The room was comfortable, and the price was quite fair for the location. The staff were polite, and the hotel is conveniently located for exploring Paris.

However, as a Platinum member, I was promised a bottle of wine in my room as a perk, but it was nowhere to be found. This was disappointing.

We arrived 45 minutes before check in started. They were happy to store our bags until then. Check in was easy and quick. The property from outside and the lobby looked really good. We asked about the Expedia gold benefit of a free bottle of wine and they informed us it was already in the room.

We also got our room upgraded without asking which was excellent. We had a kitchen with fridge and microwave. Room was big, tidy and cozy.

Staff was great. We stored our bags till 5pm. Check out is perfectly at midday. Area outside property looks a bit shady but nobody bothered us. Also, really good location within 10 mins walk of 2 subway stations.

Would go back! Highly recommend.

Room was in desperate need of repair. Bed and bedding was clean and comfortable but wallpaper was peeling and bathroom needed updating. Also at around 10:30pm a member of staff persistently knocked on the door waking me and my young children, attempted to open the door (at the same time that I did so not sure if he would have managed) all to give us some untequested toothbrushes. This alone has put me off staying again as I’m not sure if he would have walked in whilst myself and my two young children were asleep if I had not heard.

Dining area was also not that clean. We attended at 7am so must have been the first for breakfast and there was food bits on our chairs. It was overall ok for the pitstop we needed it to be.

We were supposed to be on the 5th floor but the elevator was out of order so we were offered a room on the ground floor instead. My husband had an injured ankle so we accepted that option. Reluctantly. It was called an upgrade as the room was bigger. The extra bunk beds did not do much for us. The only window faced the inner court yard where everybody could look into our room unless you drew the curtains shut which made the room dark. Because of lack of elevator there was a lot of foot traffic. Also - at dawn (!) - the rolling suit cases over the cobble stones in the court yard woke one up. A dark room in the morning ... that's sad. Also, the breakfast room has no windows, is small and was so packed that moving around was very difficult. The staff is super friendly, the available parking was extremely helpful and appreciated.

What a great hotel, nothing to see from the outside but once you are inside it is beautiful. The staff at reception were great, we tried some French and they helped out! The room was superb for 3 people and always clean. The courtyard is beautiful very atmospheric. The location is close to several lovely cafes and restaurants, we loved les Tres Freres nearby. Great location for Nation and other Metro stops which mean you can get anywhere easily including Disney.

Spacious Family Room, but some drawbacks

The location was convenient, close to the Metro station, though the entrance to the hotel’s parking was hard to find. Onsite parking is not guaranteed, but we were lucky to get a spot during our stay. The family room was larger than expected and the reception staff were nice. However, the boiler is a storage type, so the hot water runs out quickly — after one person takes a shower, it takes quite a long time to reheat before the next person can use it. This made showering quite inconvenient.

Great little hotel in convenient location. I loved that my room included a little kitchenette, I kept simple breakfast things in the fridge and was able to make tea and coffee and have proper plates and utensils for my snacks while working in my room in the evenings. Staff cheerful and ready to help. I would stay here again!
