The standout at this hotel was the staff. All of the staff at the front desk were super warm and friendly. The hotel is in a convenient location, that is easily walkable to many shops, restaurants and the metro. Cleanliness is top notch. The only con like in any Parisian hotel is the small room size.

Overall good hotel, great location and very friendly staff. The big and main issue was that their AC was not working and since Paris had exceptionally hot days the room was extremely hot, which completely disrupted sleeping. Opening windows was not an option due to street noise. Staff was helpless due to their systems apparently. For a hotel that is not cheap at all, this was a big minus, that you cannot have a comfortable sleep.

We loved our stay! The front desk crew were very kind and helpful. The hotel offered still or sparkling water on tap to fill up water bottles before or after a busy day. They had an espresso machine in the dinning area that was free to use all day. We also loved the location! We felt far enough from major touristy destinations. Also, so many great local cafes and restaurants were steps away!

We booked an Ibis because you know you will get a good level of quality. The room was a fair size for two with a comfy bed and space for both our bags

The service was amazing and the person who checked us in was utterly delightful!

The no plastic is brilliant and I hope more hotels do this.

The area can be a bit dodgy, if one doesn't know the area, easily accessible (plenty of public transport around and one can also walk to most places/areas), there's plenty of shops and places of interest around. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, even though room was a bit small, but not an issue. Breakfast was good, to kickstart a long a long day.

Whacked with unforeseen car parking charges on arrival; the room I was given was used and had not been cleaned (Covid-secure?!), the new room was quite cheap & shoddy - e.g. old mattress, moth holes in curtains; I could hear people walking around upstairs and coming and going during the night (so much for curfew) and the VMC air circulation was very noisy and a bit smelly; and finally, I was unable to get a reduced price / refund given I decided to check out a day early as my PCR test had come through. Frankly, this confirms what I had already au suspected: never book with Ibis. The one redeeming feature preventing this from being a 1* review.... the very helpful and friendly member of staff on reception on my departure day who helped me with printing off all my covid-19 travel paperwork to cross to the U.K. overall, a hotel that’s best avoided I would say.

Had a fantastic time at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They also seemed very happy to help with queries.
12pm checkout was great, and they were happy to store our luggage for the day.
Rooms were very clean. Nice shower and great black-out curtains. I slept very well. Nice and warm with comfortable pillows.
Good location near a metro station. We were able to walk to Notre Dame and Gare Du Lyon.

Overall a terrific experience from a budget room and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Convenient hotel close to Metro

The hotel staff are nice and friendly. They were patient to assist my needs when I check-in. Also suggestion for store which I can get some personal items. The room was expected from the picture in the booking, its clean, safe and convenient. Although the name of the hotel is very similar to another IBIS in the area and can easily misled you to the hotel in google map. The hotel is 8-10 mins walk to the Bastille Metro Station and which you can take to the other parts of the city. The area is a young hipster area with lots of eatery and drinking entertainment. Do expect a lively crowd from 6 to 12mn, but where isn't in the city of Paris. It does get quiets and dark after 12mn and do becareful. Overall experience is above satisfactory. I would definitely rebook this again.

We are happy with our stay in this hotel the staff were very nice, however during our check out we told the reception staff that my brother who will check out the next day will be the one to bring my bike box which is in the storage area. She was talking disrespectfully and loud. We told her that when we checked in we were told that it was ok to store the bike box in the storage area so we don't have to put it inside our rooms so as not to occupy more space in the room. She just kept on talking that we cannot do that because it might get lost.

How can it get lost when the storage area is locked and there are nos and tags on the luggages inside. She was just being arrogant and loud to the point that I told her why can't we not keep it there if they allow other clients luggage inside the storage and our luggage is just almost same size since its in a box. Then I told her that my brother is still checked in and its his luggage then she allow the hotel to keep the bike box in storage. That was the time she stopped talking but after a few seconds she starts again saying she will not be responsible for the bike box because it might be expensive and it might get lost.

We feel that managers like her should not act that way because we are paying clients and we do not demand anything other that what is reasonable and fair. I hope management gets to the bottom of this incident. This happened August 8 at 12 noon.

disappointing stay at this hotel

I stayed at this hotel at least 4 times already and I am satisfied with the service however this time I had a very bad experience with the hotel supervisor. I booked 6 rooms with them and I left my bike box in their storage so I don't have to bring it up in my room. The lady supervisor was saying I should not leave it with them because they don't want to be responsible for that luggage. I told her we just did that in the last Ibis hotel we used in Paris a few weeks ago.

The next day, we had to check out early so we told the reception that we are checking out and our friend who is based in Paris will pick up the one piece of luggage (bike bag) within the day which happens normally like if in case your flight is still in the evening and you need to check our early you leave your luggage and pick it up within the day. But this time the supervisor gave instructions to the front desk not to allow us to leave the bike bag for pick up within the day.

It was a good thing that the directrice \"Odile Simon\" arrived to save the day for us because we had a train to catch that day and was so worried about the luggage which our friend will pick up at the hotel. She was kind enough to allow us to leave the luggage for pick up by our friend on the same day.

Since we always do bike trips in the Pyrenees, now I don't know if I should stay in this hotel again because we might have the same experience and we down what that to happen again.

It's Paris so you're not hanging out in the hotel

The Ibis came with our travel package. The area where it's located is fine, with many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The Metro (subway) station is also an easy walk. You are not close to any Paris attractions. That didn't really make a big difference as we hopped on the Metro.

The hotel is very budget minded. Our room was barely big enough to hold the double bed. Seriously, no room even for a chair. But, it was clean and we didn't spend much time there anyway. One plus is that the check-in counter doubles as a hotel bar. So, one night when all the bars were closed we could still have a beer at the hotel!

If you're on a budget and you're exploring Paris, not hanging out in your hotel room, this place is okay.

This hotel is not bad but it's definately not luxury. It is clean but the rooms are tiny. Like so tiny we had to put suitcase under the bed or we couldn't walk. Horrible experience!

This hotel appears to have a preference for French speakers so why did they take my booking? The staff were a customer service train-wreck. Rude, discourteous and unfriendly to an extent bordering on hostile but particularly disdainful towards us for not speaking French. The first person we spoke to on arrival seemed horrified that we spoke English only. Others spoke English but with offensive manners or just didn't listen before presuming what was meant. Nearly everything in this hotel was in French only, including exit information and safety warnings. This is not what I expected from an Ibis hotel. The air-conditioning didn't work properly. In our room it barely achieved anything. The temperature in our floor common areas was extremely hot.They claimed it had been fixed but that was rubbish. The doors loudly banged shut. Overall, this disaster venue made the latter part of our stay in Paris regrettable.

Well located hotel in Central Paris

As a budget hotel, our stay was adequate to expectations. The most appealing quality of the hotel is its location. It is very close to Ledru Rollin tube station and there are multiple shops and brasseries/restaurants nearby as well. The rooms of the hotel are quite small though so you won't have much more space than what is strictly needed to move around comfortably. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. The bed matrices have been renewed very recently throughout the hotel and we slept well. The WiFi was working well and we had full access during the whole stay.

This was the 2nd time we've stayed here and is exactly what is needed for a short break.

Check-in was easy, and the staff dealt with us in English, despite my best attempts to use French.

The room, whilst small, was clean, comfortable and modern with a good bathroom and exactly what we needed as a base to explore Paris.

The hotel is in a nice area within easy walking distance of the very centre of Paris (around a 15-20 min stroll to Lourve/Notre Dame etc), although there is also a metro station just around the corner too. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars near the hotel too giving lots of evening choice if you don't want to stray too far away.

Can't comment on the breakfast or room service as we didn't use them, you're in Paris, get out and explore what there is.

We stayed for 7 nights during our visit to Paris in August 2015.
The hotel room and the hotel in general are clean. The room is basic and does not provide facilities such as cups and kettle for guests to make their own drinks.
It appears that front service staff were rotated from duties fairly frequently. Some are polite and helpful, while others are less service oriented.
The air conditioner of the room was quite noisy during the night and we complained to the service staff a couple of times and were told that nothing could be done. When we requested for a change of room, we were told that all the rooms are fitted with similar air-conditioners and are likely to have the same issue.
The location of the hotel is generally good, near a metro station, some eateries and a fairly decent neighbourhood.

Only downside was the bathroom fan was on 24hrs ( no switch) and there was some street noise. We were fortunately tired enough to sleep through it. However at approx 50 pounds for the night in Paris, it was good.

The hotel was easily accessible and within a short 5 minutes walking distance from the subway station. The bed was comfortable and the room is in good condition. The only concern is that shavers and toothbrushes are not provided. You can request one time use toothbrushes at a charge of 1 Euro at the counters. There was a BLACKOUT on the last night for a couple of hours! Alternatively, there is a small mini mart just next to the hotel where there is wide range availability of groceries you can purchase. Galeries Lafayette is 15 minutes away on a direct line (Opera Station), and Eiffel is 30 minutes away on the same line.

As many people are aware finding a decent hotel in the centre of Paris if you are on a budget can be difficult. Therefore you can image how happy I was to find this little gem. It's about 15 mins walk to Bastille, and a 5 mins walk to the nearest metro station. The streets around are surrounded with nice little bistros and tonnes of shops.
The hotel staff spoke very clear English, and they have handy flags on there name badges saying which languages they speak some of which could speak 5 different languages. They where all very friendly and where able to help when ever we had a query or slight problems.
The rooms where decent sized, with large desks and a decent sized TV and lots of storage for clothes and what not. Just a word of warning the only channel on the TV that was in English is BBC world news, not that you should be watching TV allot, go expore Paris! The beds are extremely comfortable and the addition of air con in the room made the experience 1000% more enjoyable as when we went Paris was at 35 degrees.
Bathroom facilities where everything that you needed, nice showers all very clean, and decent sized. Maids came into the room everyday to tidy and clean which was a massive plus and the free wifi was an absolute life saver. You can't watch videos on it (that's a paid upgrade) but for web browsing and googling it was perfect! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would gladly stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay; the staff were very helpful and efficient; we asked to be changed to a non-smoking room (as requested on the booking) and this was done without delay. Room very comfortable, clean and well-equipped for price, with lovely outlook over rear courtyard garden. Location excellent, quiet street, but lots of nice cafes, bars and shops around and less than 5 mins walk to metro, 15-20 mins walk to river. Breakfast very good, with cereals, fruit, cheese, meats, tortilla and fresh breads. Excellent value given it was Easter weekend. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is a very good value. It is a basic room with open closet and shelves (no dresser). Tv, phone, and free wireless. The bathroom is also basic with towels and soap -- no shampoos or wash cloths/hand towels. However it is all very clean and the room was quiet and comfortable. What makes this a good value is that it has an elevator and A/C -- neither of which are standard at most hotels of this price range. The breakfast may seem expensive to some at EUR 9,50; however keep in mind that at most any cafe in Paris you will spend that much for only a large cup of coffee and a pastry. With the buffet, you get fruit, yoghurt, choice of cereals, juice, coffee, cake, pastries, cheese, meats, bread, and condiments. I found it to be a great value and would definitely buy it again. You can find nicer hotels in Paris with bigger rooms; but not at this low of a price point.

Hotel muito bem localizado, com metrô próximo e muitas opções de restaurantes, supermercados, etc. O hotel fornece água com ou sem gás durante toda a estadia. Café da manhã bom, mas sem muita variedade, padrão Ibis. Atendimento muito cordial por parte de todos os funcionários;

IBIS Standard. Alles etwas einfacher und kleiner aber ausreichend. Zimmer wirklich sehr klein. Frühstück okay. Lage super, weil ruhig und mit Metro und Bus gut erreichbar. Viele Restaurants und Shops fußläufig.

Deux nuits dans cet hôtel début juin 2024 bien situé, près des transports en commun dans une rue pas trop passante. Notre demande de chambre calme en étage élevé a été respecté.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis à notre arrivée. Amabilité et explications claires sur l'hôtel de la part du garçon à l'accueil.
Je comprends qu'il n'y ait plus de plateau de courtoisie mais je le regrette même s'il est possible de prendre du thé et du café à volonté dans la salle du déjeuner, obligeant à descendre systématiquement. Dommage aussi que les serviettes pour les mains ne soient pas à disposition dans la chambre. Néanmoins nous avons récupéré une serviette de bain en plus à l'accueil.
Je note aussi qu'il n'y a plus de brosse dans les toilettes comme dans d'autres hôtels par ailleurs, ce qui est gênant notamment quand vous partagez votre chambre et surtout pour les personnes qui font le ménage. Merci de penser à elles.
Malgré tout je recommande cet hôtel et si je devais revenir à Paris, j'y retournerai volontiers.

Ficamos muito satisfeitos com a estadia!

O quarto nos atendeu muito bem, é simples, o banheiro é grande, havia um mal cheiro mas nada que atrapalhasse nossa estadia, os atendentes do hotel só falavam Francês e inglês, mas deu para se virar! O hotel tem muitos restaurantes, mercado e estação de metro pertinho! Em tese o hotel nos atendeu muito bem ao que propusemos a alugar, só para dormir no caso!

muy buena ubicación. tiene unos restaurantes muy cerca que son geniales, un super a unos metros por si ocupas algo. el personal fue excelente y la cama es cómoda.
