It was a very nice hotel. Quite location, lovely staff who were always kind and available to answer questions. The view in my room was not good but the room was a good size & was daily. Would stay here again.

We had stayed multiple times here but the issue last time was duplicated hotel tax charge on our credit card . Our bookings were fully paid for, non refundable total 9 nights stay . We checked out early morning on December 5 and paid in full hotel tax owed , but on December 13 we were charged again same amount of tax , we notified hotel to no avail so opened dispute charge with our credit card and we’re still waiting for resolution. I know error can happen but at least make an effort to communicate, we have mobile #and email on their file .

A really well presented boutique style hotel in the paris bastille area, the decor in the bedrooms very comfortable and relaxing, breakfast area, bar and inroom service dining available, the pool and spa area is my favourite part of the hotel with spa massage available and , sauna plus steam room , the staff all very friendly and helpful at anytime. 😊😊

Boutet Bastille Hotel was such a charming place to stay! I really liked the location - easy access to metro 8 & 9, safe area and not as touristy as other arrondissements.

The hotel staff was very helpful with all my questions, professional and it didn’t hurt that they were young and cute!

The beds were super comfy with nice bedding. The bathrooms were clean. They even had a heated rack for hanging wet towels. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go to the pool, but it looked really cute with a sunny skylight.

I would love to come back and stay there again!

This was my fifth visit at this hotel and I’m never disappointed. The service was exceptional ; the staff were welcoming and professional. A special merci to Victoria and Demba who were so helpful and accommodating during my visit. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of the 11th arrondissement within walking distance to amazing bistro Paul Bert, Le Marais and of course the Bastille. A great find and and absolute treasure

This is my go-to hotel when staying in Paris. Prices are fair for the excellent room quality, the neighborhood is relatively quiet, and there is ample access to the metro. Plenty of dining options are nearby (make a reservation at Septime, but do so way in advance). Highly recommended.

The location near Bastille was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, though I would have preferred a sofa instead of a chair, but we made do. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with anything. The spa was a fantastic bonus, especially after a long day of sightseeing and shopping.

Absolutely loved my stay here (10.19-10.24.2024). I can't overstate how friendly and helpful the staff here are, really top-notch professional customer service. 10/10 would stay here again. Also, the neighborhood (and surrounding/adjacent) has a great locals feel, not a ton of tourists. The metro is at the end of block and there was always a lime bike to rent close by as well.

The staff literally could not have been more helpful! The front desk was SO welcoming! The room was spotless. I upgraded to a patio where we enjoyed a bottle of wine in the evening. Breakfast was sumptuous. Is stay here again without hesitation; and I'd recommend it to anyone!

This is a great hotel to stay at if you are looking for friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, with a quiet place to rest at night. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. It is close to a metro station (3 min walk) so it’s easy to access whatever you wish to see in Paris. If you want to be close to the main sights, this is not the place for you. My daughter and I enjoyed this hotel very much!!!

On arrival I was surprised to be asked to pay a security deposit of 300 Euros, I was promised by staff that this wouldn't be debited. It was debited. I was told it would be put back into my account when we checked out in 3 days time. It wasn't. It finally cleared back into my account 1 week after we checked out.

I requested an early check in since my flight into Paris landed at 8 am . The hotel was so kind enough to have my room ready for me at 10.30 am when I got to the hotel . It was a very sweet gesture to make sure I didn’t have to wait after a long flight . The check in and check out processes were very smooth . The food at the breakfast service and room service were both really good too . I didn’t use the pool but it looked like a lovely space to relax . Overall I was very satisfied and the hotel staff were very helpful and willing to address any requests . Thank you .

A small mistake with the rooms (a double when a twin room was reserved) quickly resolved in the morning. The breakfast is a little expensive, but lots of good cafes nearby. Other than those minor issues, am excellent hotel and great stay

Good news! The hotel will comp you two drinks for being woken up at 2-3 am by a cockroach crawling on your skin and then after finally falling asleep at 5am, ignoring your “do not disturb” sign and waking you at 9am. So much for the honeymoon experience we never got when we first got married. Now at 60 I thought we deserved a great hotel experience. Not so much. *Get this: not even one apology.* I’m Canadian so I know we over apologize and expect others to…but come on!

This is our second time staying at this boutique hotel. It is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The shower has plenty of water pressure and the rooms are a great size. The location is awesome. Away from all the tourist hustle while still being located in a vibrant Parisian neighborhood. The staff is outstanding, especially Julio as he provided amazing dining suggestions highlighting a myriad of food options from multiple cultures. He made my wife’s 40th birthday celebration exceptional with his dining recommendations. Thank you Julio and Hotel Paris Bastille Boutet. We will most certainly see you again in a future visit.

The property was in the area that we wanted to stay in, close to cafes and metro. Room was clean and just what we needed. We didn't use the amenities as we were hardly ever in the hotel. They only downside was that it was a little noisy. We could hear everything going on outside.

When I arrived I was assigned a room. I got up to it and the keycard was not working. Going back to the reception they updated the keycard. Got back up and could enter the room.... which was occupied !!! The person was not there but the room was not done (bed messy, used cups on the desk, a letter for someone else on the bed...)
I got back to the reception and explained the situation. They told me to wait to find another room.
I would have expected at least some sort of compensation coming from a 5 star hotel, should it be a room upgrade or even paying for a drink of my choice while I was waiting after a long trip. None of this was offered (they did tell me they would offer a hot chocolate, thing that they offer to everyone, but at 9PM this is a bit surprising).

Other than that, the rooms are quite ok (rooms are usually quite small in Paris) but very noisy during the night with traffic, so much so it was hard to find sleep.
Beds are very confortable though and pool / sauna is a good plus for the hotel.

Nice check in but a big disappointment with the room. Booked a junior suite which is at a maximum a deluxe room. Small windows low ceiling, zero decorations and ambiance, a mini plastic sofa, nothing in adequation with the amazing facade of this building. Lucky that the staff were really friendly.

This is the only time I’ve been to Paris and LOVED the hotel I was staying at!!!! It was excellent!! Super clean, huge rooms, amazing staff. I never write hotel reviews but this place was truly a gem.
Close to the metro and many dining options. We walked to dinner every night and took the metro everywhere. I can’t recommend it enough. Simply stellar.

Friendly, attentive staff. Place is well kept, very clean. I love the location. It is near two different lines of trains, many restaurants, shops and boulangeries( bakeries ) bear by.
I felt safe loving around the hotel. The hallways are clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommended. Love the pool, sauna and the steam room. The WiFi was good but often drops and one must reconnect.

Nice place, but short of 5-stars

We stayed here for four nights on a vacation. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip, but the hotel was not quite as advertised. For an advertised 5-star hotel, it was not quite up to par.

Overall:
+ The value for the room was good, possibly due to it being a bit further removed from the city
+ The location was great! It was a short walk from the Feidherbe / Cheligny station which took only ~15 minutes to be in the center of the city. Plus there were lots of good restaurants around the area.
+ Everyone in the hotel was very friendly.
+ The room was quiet even though it faced the street, and the bed was a dream.
+ The bathtub is like a spaceship, so if you take baths, get ready for an A+ experience.

- The internet was really slow and inconsistent. If you are trying to work from the room, be careful. When we mentioned it to the front desk, they were of limited help in this area.
- The rooms were clean, but we had issues with both our tub and our room sink. When we asked for them to be fixed, it took two days to get fixed.
- The overall feel of the hotel was not a 5-star experience in my view; more like a 3.5 or 4-star experience. Everything from the check in, to lack of concierge, to lack of unique touches (e.g. turn down service) makes this feel short of 5 star experience.

Overall, this was a completely fine place to stay. However, I think the billing as a 5-star place is probably a bit oversold.

Pretty good property but for 1 key issue - the bed is much too soft n is so worn that the 2 sides slopes outward. Difficult to have a good rest.
The stopper in the sink can't be released for water to drain. The onlu solution is to pull it out completely.
Irrespective, the Front Desk staff were all very helpful n made the stay enjoyable. Proximity of the hotel to line 1 metro in these days is a blessing.

Loved the pool but it needs a railing to get those not sure-footed into the water. Adored the shower. Excellent breakfast. VERY accommodating staff.

Hated the duvet. I needed a separate sheet so ended up pulling the blanket out of its cover to use as a sheet. Duvet system is much too warm throughout the night.

Very nice hotel in Paris

Beautiful hotel in a nice area of Paris though it’s not central. However, you are about two blocks from the 8 line and a longer walk from other metro lines. The hotel was bigger than I usually see in Paris and the pool and sauna were nice pluses. The staff was super friendly too, especially since I don’t speak French.

When Just Want a Treat, try the Bastille Boutet

I had earned a \"good boy\" reward and decided it would be in the form of a five star hotel on my four night stay in Paris. And since the Bastille Boutet happened to be in my favorite part of the city, I booked. Not once did I regret doing so. My room was large by that city's standards, well appointed and perfectly located. Charming little \"extras\" here and there were icing on the cake, as were my room's juliette balcony and Nespresso macine. However the real luxury was the treatment accorded to me by staff. This went far, far beyond the call of duty. Those looking to reward themselves for whatever reason can start the process by staying here!
