Nice hotel...with a direct view of Tour Eiffel

The stay here was great. It is not very close to the major attractions, but reasonable distance to both Liberte and Porte de Charenton metro stations. Overall, we were happy with our stay at this place.

Avoid if you are a family booking

Booked pretty last minute so many hotel prices escalated out of budget and had to settle for this hotel. Staff are pretty good but the hotel gave a slightly dilapidated feeling.

Hallways and carpets looked poorly maintained, small insects (like fruitflies) were in our room kitchennette. The AC was not working and it was blue skies, high humidity 35 degree plus days outside. Our one year old baby suffered and struggled and did not sleep.

I think we survived two days out of despearation and had we had the opportunity, we would have left much earlier.

I like Adagio, but the carpets and condition of the kitchen are not good, the kitchen dint work at all. Also, the shower was damaged. So maintenance is really required at this property

Our family stayed there four nights. The room is big and convenient with stove, fridge and microwave. The location is five minutes away from Metro and bus stops. Front desks guys are friendly and helpful. After long international trip, they let us to check in before noon, so that we can take break for different time zones. Thank you! We highly recommend this hotel!!

Gave us a hard time when we asked for toilet paper or extra towels. Keep in mind we stayed a week and opted out to have someone clean our room,( Bc covid) I never said at a place that they gave me a hard time for toilet paper. Would not recommend plus too far away from everything

Very pleasant stay

My best Paris experience. English speaking friendly staff, comfortable room in a nice neighborhood. Far from most Paris attractions but there isn't any place you can't go from here if you do not mind 2 20-minute subway trips. Neighborhood is upscale and feels safe. Off of a major intercity route, very easy to reach without getting too much into Paris traffic.

Overall we had a good stay! The hotel staff was extremely accommodating to a scheduling mishap that we had which our group appreciated. The only downfall of this hotel was that the overall condition of the room could have been better - hole in the bedroom door and many ants in the room. The location of the hotel was not the greatest either; walking back at night would encounter many people on the street who lived in their vehicle. For the price, this hotel was perfect for a friends getaway on a tight budget.

Budget accommodation in Paris

The was a nice welcome treat of free cookies and juice at registration. The apartments are within walking distance of the Metro which made the somewhat remote location bearable. They only clean the room a couple of times a week but we were informed of this on check in. Main complaint was the miniscule size of everything including the room and shower. The shower was so small I could barely fit in but it all suited our purposes for a few nights in Paris at an affordable price.

this has been my worst hotel experience, hotel has no ac, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable, the room was very small, as a result my wife broke her toe on the hotel table and had to go to an urgent care facility. this hotel should be closed down for major renovation to install central ac, or unit ac in each room, to replace the carpet both in rooms and in hallways, they should have room service every day or at least every three days. most of the customers that were there had complains about the condition of the hotel. The hotel did not live up to its name, people there were not at ease. The hotel makes the country looks very bad. Hotel management and owners should have a serious review of how they are meeting the needs of clients.

Studio apartment close to public transportation

Let me say that your comfort at this hotel depends on the weather, especially if you come from the U.S. or other countries where you are used to air conditioning. We stayed 4nights. The hotel is a studio apartment building hotel which is great b/c you have a small kitchen. We loved that because we bought water, wine, beer and iced tea at the local grocery store and kept it cool. We also bought some groceries to have snacks and easy meals in the room. For us it’s convenient and the price was a lot more appealing than staying in the center of Paris, but some might prefer to pay the price for the location. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The problem we had is that it was very hot in Paris, high 80s to mid 90s Fahrenheit and sunny. The room was just so hot. I understand it’s europe and AC is not common, but there just wasn’t any relief. The regular ventilation was very weak and opening the window doesn’t help when it’s so hot. I approached the staff about it and they offered to move us to a different room where I could open the window more (a room facing the quiet courtyard instead of the highway). I took them up on it and at night would open the window for a little fresh air. It wasn’t their fault but they tried to make us comfortable in my opinion. I appreciate that. I would say this hotel is a great place to stay if you want to save a little money, don’t mind a short train ride to the attractions and want a little kitchen. Most places there don’t have AC anyway.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was nice. They gave my husband and I 2 double beds, which we had to push together. Throughout the night they would start parting and I almost fell through the crack a couple times. Our coffee maker and microwave were broken as well. When we told them about the coffee maker they let us get coffee in the breakfast room in the mornings for free. Overall we were satisfied with the room, I would recommend calling ahead and confirming a room with a full bed.

Good location and great amenities for the price

I was only in Paris for a two day visit, but the apartment had all the amenities that you would need for a longer stay. Check-in was very quick and simple, and the staff were all friendly throughout. The location was very good, in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, but not too far out from the city, plus there was a Metro station just a few minutes walk away. There was also a small shopping centre about five mins along the road. Being able to make your own meals in the apartment made a big difference to the normal cost of staying in a popular tourist destination like Paris, which would be a big plus to budget-conscious travellers.
The only minor criticism I would have was on the physical condition of the apartment. Although it was clean and had all the facilities you could need, there was some evidence of grime and dirty marks on some of the walls. Personally, I was not bothered by this, and it didn't detract from my stay in any way, but I know that some travellers might have more of an issue with it.
Apart from that, a great location at a good price, and would definitely stay here again.

PROS: Location is convenient to 2 METRO stops and a rail/tram station. Close to highway, but very quiet. Across from huge park and zoo. Staff was wonderful, good English speakers, so polite and helpful. A few blocks from several restaurants, a market, a laundry, etc. Room very spacious, good for 4 with separate bedroom, futon bed and bedding for a pallet. Mini-kitchen with fridge, microwave, all plates, etc. Separate WC and bathroom with lots of hot water. Quiet halls. Soft drinks and some snacks available in the lobby.

CONS: Paper thin walls in suite, little privacy when someone using toilet or shower. Tub has super tall sides and was hard for me to get in and out with my bad knees and was slippery. Room has seen much better days, walls are dirty, paint chipped and dirty, 2 really bad flea-market paintings on the walls. Carpet a little sticky (wear socks or slippers). No cleaning in rooms until you leave.

Take a cab from CDG. Faster and probably cheaper than METRO which would require at least 2 train changes with luggage.

Overall, very nice stay and recommended. Hotel needs some TLC and updating, but I would happily stay there again. Good for families, larger rooms than some hotels.

Generally A Good Place

Good location, close to subway, shops and restaurants. The reception desk is open and staffed 24 hours and they were all excellent. They were very helpful with recommendations and for which trains to take, etc. The place was fairly clean, but the carpet could use a shampoo. The bathroom was clean. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable.

I would say the biggest problem I had was the WiFi was terrible. I could not even get on several times. The staff were sympathetic, but ultimately couldn't do anything about it. There is a coffee shop a few doors down that has free WiFi.

Stayed 3 nights. Very nice and helpful staff. Facility is in need of a facelift but the place is clean. Room was small but 1. This is Paris 2. Was nicely arranged for the space. 3. Reasonable price. The hotel has AC, which was a nice plus in the 97F temp we had. Although located on the peripheries, the room was very quiet thanks to double windows. Overall a nice place to stay to play tourist in Paris.

7 nights at Aparthotel Ponte de Charenton, Paris

This hotel is not going to be suitable for all. However, if looking for a reasonably priced stay this is a good place to choose. It being in the 12th Arondissemont was a good choice as I was departing from Gare de Lyon and it's walkable from the hotel if not bogged down with luggage. Taxi fare was just over 11 Euros. I didn't look into other options. If you're a light sleeper and happen to be on the highway side of the building bring ear plugs, but the view to the Eiffel Tower is good. Oh and you can see the clock tower of the train station too. There are a couple of Metro stations less than a 7 minute walk, plenty of restaurants, small shops and a small shopping centre with a marvellous grocery shop with everything you'll require. There is an amusement park very close, and walking trails through a nice park and the Zoo is a short walk away. The suites are set up for cooking, and while every convenience isn't there, if you've been camping you'll manage just fine with what's provided. It' not a posh hotel but then the price reflects this. You'll have to determine what your priorities are - more $'s for fun or cultural experiences or a high priced room, where basically you sleep and bathe, your choice.

If I had wanted to stay in a hostel, this might be okay. But if you want to stay in a hotel, don't stay here. Absolutely filthy. The walls are coated in grime. The carpet is so dirty I couldn't bring myself to remove my shoes. The bathtub is so yellowed it looks to be coated with urine. Even our children were disgusted. This turned what should have been a magical trip in Paris to a nightmare. Completely disgusting and unacceptable. Lights burned out, heaters didn't work and had portable heaters, only clean your room if you stay more than 7 days, etc. STAY AWAY!

Good base for exploring Paris

I've stayed at this section of Accor hotels before so I knew what to expect. I like them because it allows a home base for one to unwind after the long travels. I usually travel by myself and appreciate the comfort afforded by this section of the Accor hotel chain.

Due to a delay with my inbound flight and a different plane assignment I was separated from my baggage which ended up at Orly while I was sent to DeGaulle. The airline was told where to send my bag and the staff at the hotel was kind enough to call me late in the evening when it was delivered the next day. I really appreciated that.

Everything about this place is outdated and unpleasant. I even paid for the wifi and it was awful. Air conditioning didn't work, bathroom drain was clogged and slow, exterior building doors stuck despite key code and button release, key access to the room door was tedious, and elevators had no close button so you stood waiting 5 seconds for the door to finally close. The carpet felt disgusting with and without shoes on.

The hotel staff were excellent; very kind and attentive, but the hotel is in definite need of renovation. My room was grim. The cigarette smell was suffocating (ashes on the windowsill). No AC No Fan Temperature control didn't work

Hotel was opposite to the cemetary so not a very good view but that wasn't still a problem.
The main issue with the room was the temperature control settings not working at all,No AC, No Fan, it was 30+℃ outside and the room was heating up, complained about it but no action was taken, atleast a table fan would have been good but nothing was provided. Highly disappointed by the brand Adagio, won't book any of their hotels ever again.

Although this Hotel is out of the main part of Paris, it is in a Great position close to stops for the metro and tram. Takes around 15 minutes to get in to central areas.
Supermarket couple of blocks along the road by Liberty metro stop is very useful with the cooking facilities in the room.

Located on the outskirts of Paris, but very close to metro, bus and tram station. Nice neighborhood, with ethnic cafes, bakeries and restaurants. Very large park - alive with runners, walkers, lovers on Sunday morning. Near by Paris Zoo.

An issue at the hotel, requested queen size bed was not available - front desk not helpful to change.

Good value for the money, I would stay again if 20-30 min metro ride to centrum was not an issue.

Horrible room, looked dirty, walls dirty yellow , brown carpet that looked dirty , the room was in dire need of a makeover , air conditioning not working and a very noisey room beside motorway , would definately not not recommend this hotel for any traveller / location terrible , We asked to be moved to another room we were first advised that the hotel was fully booked and then we were given a room on 7th floor room not much better and still air conditioning did not work . The member of staff on the evening we arrived was nice and pleasant .

Love'd the mini apartment.

Family with 5 kids. Hotel suited us to a tee. Each of our rooms was a one bedroom with full kitchen (mini frige though). Could't tell you about breakfast we made our own. Rooms were comfy. Rooms were cleaned daily (sheets not changed) Tub and shower. Staff was great. Great directions and very helpful. The gentleman who worked late nite, welcomed us back in and wanted to know what we had done that day. Turn right outside the hotel, eateries, pastry shop, laundry, markets, and Metro (about 100 meters). Left, about 300 meters to the tram. Easy to get to the sights. Great value for the money. We would definitely stay again.

I think the Air condotioner has been set up so that we can not adjust the temperatur ? We were there during summer with temperatur outside was 37° celcius. With basically no air con in the room, it was really a sauna. Tried to open the window. But since the hotel is located just on top if bussy motorway, then we can only choose to have the noise or sweating.

Decent hotel with kitchenette close to tram/metro

Easy access from CDG by RER B to City University then tram to Port Charenton (can not transfer directly to tram but need extra ticket which costs 1.80). Advantage is missing busy metro stops with lots of stairs, etc when you have luggage. Approx. 1 hour from tram stop to airport.
The town of Charenton is two metro stops away. Pretty area for walking. Check out la bolee d'Arvor for crepes.

Good location, but not very confortable

The hotel is well located, close to a metro station. There is a supermarket and a laundromat close-by, as well as many restaurant. The employees are very helpful. The problem is that the bed was old and hard. The kitchen is poorly equipped. No toaster, no kettle, no lids for the pots and pans. For breakfast, we had to make our toast in a pan on the stove.

The hotel studio- type apartments are neat and clean though very small, but that's usual for Paris. Kitchenette facilities were in working order which was important as we made our own breakfast daily.
Cleaning of rooms takes place only once a week which we found too infrequent but it didn't matter very much. Except that basin and bath soap and toilet paper wasn't replaced adequately even when the room was cleaned. In fact soap wasn't replaced at all.
Plus side: good location, close to Metro station, laundry and supermarket as well as nice restaurants.
Helpful reception staff.

Beds are extremely small- sized which took some getting used to!

Our second stay here did not disappoint.

Very happy with our room and the hotel in general. Staff very efficient. Room very clean. Excellent bathroom especially the shower. Kitchenette quite adequate. Finally found a supermarket near to Librete metro entrance in a shopping mall. Laundrette also nearby. Small negative would be travel to and from Paris central required at least one metro line change. Metro trains so frequent though never a waiting time issue.

Looked WAY Better Online Than In Person

Chose this hotel because of the \"apartment style,\" but it was no different than a small hotel room with a hot plate. Room was painted white, but had smuges, black residue, discoloration. Furniture / beds showed a lot of wear. Definitely a budget hotel. And not central to Paris at all, very far out.

Hotel is fine but it's a long way from anywhere which I suppose is to be expected at the price. Slightly irritated to find that the coffee maker doesn't come with a filter so you have to go and find your own.
The room had a rather noisy fan which ran night and day and couldn't be turned off even though it had a string hanging from it for the purpose. My room - and most of them I think - overlooked the Péripherique so even with double windows there's always some road noise.

Great location. Helpful front desk people. Well equipped apt.was able to prepare breakfast and a few meals. Handy to grocery shops and Saturday market. You have to request and pay extra for cleaning or fresh linen but there is a heated towell bar. A burnt out light was fixed immediately

Very helpful front desk staff.

Good hotel to stay and for for sure we will book this hotel when we visit Paris next time. The front desk staff, two ladies and one gentleman, were very helpful. There were problems for this hotel and I hope they will fix them soon: the wifi was very slow and no signal at our room; the air-conditioning for our room was not functioning and hope they should have checked this before they let visitors to take the room.

Value for money hotel with good location!

We are a family of four and we booked 1BHK in this hotel. The rates are quite economical when compared to rest of Paris. It is located very near to Porte de Charenton metro, tram & bus station. So transportation to centre of Paris is not a problem. There is a direct bus connection from/to Gare De Lyon (Bus #87). Rooms are comfy (but small). The window system is excellent as it soundproofs noises from the nearby motorway. Don't open the windows though. A lot of cafes, restaurants are nearby. To get supplies you walk to \"Simply\" located near Liberte metro station. Only possible sticking point is that rooms don't have Wi-FI. Wired internet in rooms and Wi-Fi in lobby are free but excruciatingly slow. But hey who cares about Wi-Fi when you are in Paris!!! Go sight seeing!!!

STAY AWAY terrible hotel! the room was very small and i'm pretty sure was for a handicapped person. the toilet shower and sink were all in one room with no divider or tub separating it; the drain was in the middle of the bathroom. moving on to the kitchen, which shared a room with the dining room, bedroom, office space, and my closet was incredible tiny. it would get really hot in the room but you couldn't open the window because it overlooked the highway so its incredibly loud and you would be able to hear the TV. No wifi available in the room only wired internet so don't expect to use a macBook pro in your room since it doesn't have a compartment for ethernet cords. Also, the bed since it was made for a disabled person was extremely low.

Hotel location is good,only less than 30 minutes walk to the train station. I'm not very happy with our stay because the staff are not very helpful,we arrived late and complained about the aircon on one of our rooms that we stayed on,they said they can't do nothing about it and will ask the maintenance to check it in the morning,still not good the following day and the staff who was on that day kept on saying the maintenance will check it again eventhough I told her that my brother-in-law wanted another room,the maintenance not very happy and insisted it's working until the manager has been called and let her checked it for herself, that's the only time my brother-in-law has been given another room.No wifi in the room,you have to go down in the lobby if you want to go in the internet. Good thing is it's equipped with everything we need to cook our own food and save money.There's a grocery store nearby.

First trip to Paris (June 2014), so we didn't know much about it except a bit of prior research.
Location wise, the hotel is about 30 min away from the Eiffel tour (which is the furthest you'll need to go) and maybe 15 min from Notre Dame.
There are 2 stations close by, both within 5 min walk from the hotel.
The saff was helpful and really lovely. Their English wasn't too advabced, but good enough to answer all our questions (we only had simple touristy ones anyway).
The room was clean and nothing seemed broken. I was happy to have a small kitchen on the room too - fridge,small cooker, microwave, coffee machine (didn't use it, but wasn't expecting it), cutlery... Everything needed to cook if you wanted to
My only 'complain' would be that our room was facing the motorway. The room was quiet, but when opening the windows it got noisy. Not a problem for us, but some might find it disturbing.
Neighborhood wise, not much in the area. There's a 'bakery' close by and one or 2 shops, but it's more of a quiet residential neighborhood.
Last things to mention, reception 24h and the entry is secured with a pin code. Internet - WiFi in reception, ethernet cable in rooms
Overall strongly recommend it. We've enjoyed our stay and will use the hotel again.

Good location nice and simple.

Great location and clean and friendly staff. Good facilities although could of done with a hair dyer. Free wifi is limited to the lobby but internet is available in the room via an Ethernet cable. Overall great 2 days :)

We booked a room for 2 people and got one single bed. Tight squeeze. Nice to have a fridge, stove, and microwave. WIFI does not work AT ALL in the room and we were on the main floor. You have to go out to the lobby. Staff spoke Engish. Overall it was ok.

This hotel is located on the border of Paris-proper, 400 meters from the metro that will take you to city centre in 20 minutes. Less than 10 minutes walk to Plaza Castilla with the characteristic leaning towers. Ask for a room facing the street for quieter experience or face the motorway below if you want excellent views of Paris. Two soundproof windows will cancel the noise completely. WiFi is slow, tricky setup and works only in the lobby! Poor quality soft mattress. Hot waters runs out after one shower, takes an hour to heat up again. The kitchenette fully equipped, comfy table, desk and TV with lots of international channels. Roomy.

Clean room with some basic cooking facilities (double ring, sink, fridge, utensils, microwave. It was good for us as it was only 15 minutes travel from Gare de Lyon and we had to leave early. Good value for money, 7 minutes walk from the Metro

Lovely budget aparthotel

Fantastic place to stay, especially as it's so reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, helpful and all spoke perfect English. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and the kitchenette was well equipped. Although the hotel is located close to an incredibly busy and noisy motorway the quadruple glazed windows meant that no noise could be heard in the room. Likewise, we heard absolutely no noise from any of the other rooms in the hotel. This was a big plus for us, as my partner and I are very light sleepers.
The hotel is a little out of the way but Liberte metro station is only a 5 minute walk away. The metro trains are super regular - we never had to wait more than 2 minutes and the journey into Paris centre is about 20-30 minutes. Because our room was on the third floor, on the corner of the building facing the motorway we even got a view of the Eiffel tower in the distance!
We would 100% recommend this hotel - our only teeny tiny grumble was that the free WiFi had no signal in the room, only in the main lobby. The lobby has lots of little tables and comfy chairs so it's not too much of as hardship but if the WiFi was available in the rooms it would be a bonus.

Pretty much right next to Paris

This hotel is half a block walking from Paris. My husband and I enjoyed our stay.
There's plenty of metro stations in very close proximity, less than a mile away.
Bolangeries and Patisseries have very delicious baguettes and pastries, very economical.
Hotel offers traditional French breakfast (petit dejenuer) for an additional low charge.
Pharmacies, grocery stores and ATM's are within walking distance.
I got sick during the first few days of our trip and the night staff were very helpful.
