The Huatian Chinagora Hotel is a luxury four stars hotel managed by the Huatian group, a leading tourist company based in the Hunan province of China. The Huatian Hotel Group is listed on the Shenzhen stock exchange.

The Huatian Chinagora Hotel is located at the confluence of the Seine and Marne rivers, in the city of Alfortville (Paris) in the department of Val-de-Marne. The Hotel is about twenty minutes from Paris tourist center, about forty minutes from the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and fifteen minutes from the Paris-Orly airport.

The hotel was built in 1989 and covers an area of 46 000 square meters. The architecture of the building is inspired by the Chinese Imperial Palace and Gardens.

Originally named 'Sino-French Centre for Economic and Cultural Exchange', the hotel has played an important role between France and China in promoting economic, trade and cultural exchanges. The hotel helped encourage Chinese enterprises to penetrate the European market to enhance their international competitiveness.

Huatian Hotel Chinagora offers 187 comfortable rooms each with a private balcony offering a spectacular view of the Seine River or the central courtyard garden. The hotel provides a gastronomic experience in a Chinese Hunan-style restaurant, multifunctional banquet rooms and private dining rooms with two luxury terraces, in a very comfortable and stylish environment.

Room was big and we had lots of room. Bathroom was also very big, but what was not so good was the layout of the bathroom/design. Water pressure was great but the drainage was very bad due to no wall around the shower only a curtain. So the floor was always wet. Shower curtain did not keep the water in.

Room wasn’t the one shown, nobody working there understood English properly, very minimal. They couldn’t even help us with ordering takeout food, change for the vending machine or an adaptor plug. The toilet is separate to the bathroom, which means you have to walk out into another room to wash your hands etc. Very smelly corridors. I won’t recommend

quiet hotel close to Paris

Second time in this hotel: great Chinese restaurant in the hotel itself.
It is far from Paris style of hotel, as it is a bit out of Paris, it is cheaper and bigger size of the rooms.
It is very quiet as there is no traffic around the hotel: 2 rivers.

For a 4 star hotel, it could be better, service is not the best. You have to ask for everything, tea kettle in the room. telephone numbers provided for in-house calls such room service or house keeping are not working. I had to call the exchange to request a pressing iron, took nearly 2hrs to get an Iron. Noticed iron wasn't working. Called back to inform them it wasn't working. Took over half hour to get iron replaced. Things that are meant to be standard in a hotel room, you have to call to ask for them.
Apart from that the rooms where clean, picture they have on the website is deceitful and should be changed.

Good value hotel, everything we wanted.

The hotel was well located for accessing the city by metro. The rooms were very spacious and had a nice balcony overlooking the Seine.Underground parking was a great bonus. A great stay.

Not a 4 star hotel.

This hotel is ‘ok’ definitely not a 4 star, I would say a 3 star. The room is a 3.5 star room. It could use renovating. The staff are scarce and not accommodating.

Location vs Price

The location of the Chinagora is it’s primary disadvantage. We stayed there because business required it. It’s in an industrial area not suitable for easily visiting Paris. Taxi rides to central Paris cost 30-40 euros each way. The underground is about 4 blocks away but takes about 40 minuets to reach central Paris. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Price is the reason to stay here.

Potential but disappointing.

Hotel looks good on pictures, has potential, but disappointing in reality.
Let down by run-down area, maybe further development in future?
Smelly corridor, especially from basement car park.
Some light bulb in room not working, toilet door not fitting properly.
Reception area/staff definitely not fitting a 4-star hotel, staff not in recognisable uniform and look unprofessional.

Good Hotel for a fair price

Overall a fair stay, big rooms, comfortable bedding. Bedding is clean as well as towels. carpet with stains.

Don't waste your money

Very expensive for what you get. Breakfast is quite basic and the hot food was cold. You pay I high price for a normal room which is more than 3 times the price of what others nearby were. Ok the Chinese trim was nice but rear of hotel very dirty.

Great hotel, very close to Notre Dame, 10 minutes drive, parking underground, 6 euros, free wifi, restaurant at the hotel with massive portions! breakfast a bit on a simple side, would def recommend it

Good stay, good location, good value for money

Overall it was a very good stay with the positives being very good value for money being so close to the city centre (we paid £82 for a standard double) and the view was great overlooking the river and most of South Eastern paris. It's also very close to a metro which is the best mode of transport by far. Negatives being the double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together which can be very uncomfortable, the food was very expensive even for Paris standards and there was a lack English tourist information (was all in chinese or French).
However that aside we had a good stay and would recommend to a friend.

The worst hotel on the planet

As soon as we got their reception staff not helpfull then the rooms no drinking water no tea Coffee making facility ,toilet role holder broken. bugs in the room the aircon didn't work told the reception staff they said the wold sort it out nothing happend so we kept the balcony door open doing the moos out side kept us up all night so we woke up at 13.00 when we asked the reception for the room to be serviced the said the house keeping had gone home all though in the literature the house keeping could be done until 16.30 and when we complained about the heat in the room the said we should have switched the a/c off and open the balcony door we said that was the resone for waking up late a very very poor show we had 3 rooms for four night but checked out after one

It really is a Chinese style hotel.

Odd in Paris and breakfast is what a European would think of as an evening meal. There were some croissants around the corner if you looked hard enough. No bar in the evening - and you have to walk quite a way if you want a drink before bed.

It was on offer and was good value - Don't think I'd pay the full price.

Positive impression

I was positively impressed by this chinese-run hotel that caters mostly to groups of chinese tourists visiting Paris. Clean and large rooms, together with fair pricing, make up for the not-so-great location of the hotel (however it's only 10min walk from the metro). Good restaurant too.

Nice hotel, not most convenient location

Our stay was pleasant and our room was clean and spacious, but parts of the hotel were in disrepair. The outside gardens were not accessible. Parking is cheap but the staff at the front reception told us it would be 6EUR per entry/exit. It is actually 6EUR per night.

The room was very clean. The shower had a towel rack in it that had a very sharp edge to it. Not sure why you would have this type of rack in a place where someone could (and did) cut themselves if they back into it. The neighborhood was okay but dirty, although all of Paris seemed to be filthy.

J ai réservé 3 chambres avec des collègues, les chambres sont très bien mais le chauffage centrale de l hôtel est entre 26,5° et 28° .
Impossible de baisser la température avec la clim car en hiver elle est arrêtée ...
On ne peut pas dormir avec une tel chaleur !
J y était déjà la semaine dernière et je leur avais dit, a la réception ils m ont dit qu ils feraient le nécessaire, mais c est toujour pareil !

Recomendable.

Está en Alfortville, el acceso es por su estacionamiento. El personal es muy agradable y educado. Las habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas. En la misma calle hay un Fanprix, lugares para comer y la parada del bus. Lo recomiendo.

Mon séjour a été convenable, sans plus. Un sifflement intermittant se faisait entendre dans la chambre m'empechant de dormir (ch512). Certes on est dépaysé mais cet hotel fastueux par le passé aurait bien besoin d'un rafraîchissement. C'est immense et très vide. Les vitrines et services sont fermés, la salle de restaurant etait quasi vide. Le repas était très bon mais cher. Le personnel du restaurant est de qualité et attentif. A essayer.

C’est dommage qu’il ai fallut 30 min pour avoir ma chambre alors que j’avais réservé et payé mon séjour via le site. J’ai du tous prouver, reçu de la chambre etc .. l’hôtesse d’accueil ne m’a pas proposé de prendre en plus le petit déjeuner avec mon séjour.
C’est dommage que cette situation soit arrivée car l'hôtel et le cadre reste très beau !

Okay hotel, voor ons niet nog een keer.

Receptie vriendelijk, maar spreken weinig Engels. Het hotel is echt gericht om mensen van Chinese afkomst. Kamer was gedateerd, maar voor het oog redelijk schoon. De bureaustoel was wel helemaal afgebladerd en aan vervanging toe. De airconditioning was in het hele hotel kapot. Op zich is dat niet erg in Februari, ware het niet dat deze warme lucht blies en het dag en nacht bijna 27 graden was op onze kamer. Na een broeierige nacht en nadat we hoorden dat ze de airco niet konden maken, hebben we besloten de tweede nacht te annuleren. Dit begrepen ze gelukkig goed en deze werd ook niet berekend. Overall zouden we er niet nog een keer terug komen.

El hotel no tenia forma de regular el calentador ( estábamos a 6 grados y la habitación estaba muy caliente, el piso estaba caliente no se podía estar mucho tiempo de pie sobre el suelo.
Para climatizar la habitación tuvimos que abrir la puerta de vidrio del ventanal para que el calor bajará.
Llamamos recepción y dijeron que no podían hacer nada.

Eine etwas gruselige Erfahrung

Das Einchecken ging fix, und die Dame an der Rezeption war freundlich. Damit hat es sich aber schon mit den positiven Eindrücken.

Dieses Hotel, oder besser das Chinagora, kommt schon sehr skurril in dieser Industriegegend / Industriebrache, herüber. Die Gebäude ringsum, früher wohl ein chinesisches Einkaufszentrum, stehen grösstenteils leer. Die Umgebung ist von Industrie geprägt und ist einfach nur schmutzig und heruntergekommen.

Das Gebäude beherbergt wohl 2 Restaurants, ich war im Oberen. Das dort servierte Essen kam «chinesischer» daher als das Essen, dass mit vor einiger Zeit in China serviert wurde - was nicht bedeutet, dass es schlecht war.

Mein Zimmer war nicht sauber (grosser Zahnpasta-Fleck auf dem Waschbecken, Schmutz in den Ecken) und die 4 Sterne des Hotels habe ich vergeblich gesucht. In der Tiefgarage, direkt vor dem Aufgang zum Hotel, stand ein Schrottauto, und es roch deutlich nach Urin. Alles in allem weder ein familienfreundliches Hotel, noch seine 4 Sterne wert. Ich mag mir nicht vorstellen wie 3***-Hotels in dieser Gegend daherkommen …..

优点：
1.房间够大，按照国内5星级的酒店标准来设计的
2.坐落在河边，晚上比较安静，景色也不错
3.床软硬合适，睡着比较舒服

1.离地铁比较远，走路10分钟，如果拖着大行李箱，比较麻烦

Het hotel promoot zichzelf \"inclusief airco\". Het was 25C op de kamer maar de airco kon niet aan. Uit navraag bij het personeel bleek dat de airco niet aan stond omdat het nog te vroeg in het jaar was en niet warm genoeg. We hebben echter wel betaald voor een kamer met airco, waarbij het rond de 25C was en daarmee erg warm/benauwd op de kamer. Men was echter niet te vermurwen, slechte beurt!
