Lovely small hotel with each room uniquely designed in a retro style. It was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet in a major city. The room was typically small as in many Paris hotels but all the amenities we needed had been cleverly incorporated. The area around the hotel was like a small town with its own community and there were plenty very good restaurants and bars around. The metro station close by was ideal to get us into the city centre.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel de l'Esperance! Our room was nice and clean and a good size for my two friends and I. The neighborhood was very nice. Lots of restaurants around and it was close to a metro stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

I loved the decor (retro) and the comfort of our room. The front desk staff at check in and upon departure were incredibly kind and spoke such good English, which was so helpful. The hotel is located in a great area and we wish we had booked it for more than one night. The bed was very comfortable and all the appointments in the bathroom and the room were classy. I absolutely loved opening my window to the street while I had my coffee (nespresso provided)

Slightly cramped room, but an overall nice stay

This is a great hotel, but our room had noticeably less space than past Paris boutique hotel rooms that we have booked. I think having a closet to put our bags in would have made a big difference. There was no floor area big enough to open a roller suitcase (carry-on or checked bag) flat (except on the bed). We could store a carry-on bag on a shelf above the hanging rod, but there was no good spot to store our one checked suitcase out of the way, which was inconvenient. That said, hotel staff was friendly and the location was convenient to get around. If I booked here again, I’d spend extra to upgrade to a larger room.

Make it more dramatic : have stayed few times in this hotel. In my last stay upon checking in the receptionist gave me an extremely rude and unprofessional attitude.

The keys to my room were not working I explained that I had traveled over 12 hours and I need rest but he insisted that there was nothing with the key and only after an hour he decided to try himself and indeed the keys were not working. I asked for another room he said it’s not possible proposing that he would lock and open the room for me everytime but I can’t be late after 12 because he won’t be here to open I said what sort of service is this and either I have my own key or I’ll find another hotel …then he gave me another room which wasn’t the same category saying “ you’re only here for one night so why the fuss?” Never again !

The overall property was satisfactory, but the room and bathroom were notably small, offering limited space for clothing. The rooms are stacked on top of one another, leading to a lot of noise disturbances from other guests. The cleaning schedule started around 8 am, resulting in frequent door slamming. Earplugs might be helpful for light sleepers as it was very hard to sleep through. On a positive note, the hotel is in a charming neighbourhood with a quick walk to the metro.

The hotel was great and very convenient with our Paris walking excursion’s . The breakfast was continental but we had plenty of options to start our day . The fresh bread, croissants ,yogurt , meats and cheeses were fabulous. I am a big eater and I never left hungry at breakfast. The staff were very helpful and thankfully understood English because our French is not good. The rooms are small but very modern and clean. We expected this in Paris and we will be back!

After booking this hotel i contacted them with a couple of simple questions, their response when it came was brusque and unhelpful

The day before i was due to stay i received an email saying that they couldn't accommodate us, with no further explanation but a transfer to a different hotel in a different part of the city. There was no further communication from them when asked for more details

Whilst i cannot comment on the property or location itself, the customer service is utterly appaling and on that alone i would not recommend considering this hotel!

I had a mixed experience in the property. It is in a very nice area of paris and super safe feeling. The desk is maned 24 hrs a day which is great. The property is nicely styled and overall looked really clean. I found it a great spot for easily getting to food and safely return at night.

However, there were some areas I think it could improve for a 4 star hotel. I did see some bugs scuttle across the shower on two different occasions. And the hallway is completely not soundproofed to the rooms (Although the hotel is otherwise quiet). So if a guest comes back late, loudly you will hear everything for a few floors. And despite the room blocking out other light sources, a lot of light comes in around the main door to the room at night. Which was distracting while sleeping. The mattresses were also SO HARD. I am a side sleeper and tossed and turned in discomfort each night here.

Overall I had a good experience in the property for everything besides sleeping well.

This was a lovely hotel to stay at in the Latin quarter. The subway was a 5 minute walk which had connections to all the major attractions (Louvre, Eiffel Tower, etc.). Everyone at the front desk was exceptional including Amanda! The room were clean and modern looked to be recently renovated same which the lobby lounge area. The only thing was that the room was quite small, but that wasn’t a negative for us. We were site seeing most of the time and didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. Would stay here again and would recommend to anyone staying in Paris!

Hotel de Esperance was a great choice for a 5 day visit to Paris!
The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation as well as numerous cafes. It is non-smoking.
The breakfast offered a good variety in a comfortable space.
The room was spacious, clean and quiet with a comfortable bed.
The staff were all welcoming, hospitable and very knowledgeable. They were always willing to answer our questions.

Room needs some English speaking channels on TV, more AC control below 19C ( it's monitored to 19 )Hangers are not enough for a one week stay, no iron in room? Also iron they gave me has no steam option! 11Euros for Continental bfast is too much; this should be around 7-8. Coffee free though all day! 2 bottles of water free in mini bar. per stay not per day? for a 4star hotel I'd say they need to make this 3.5 max

Wow this place was incredible! We found the neighbourhood to be charming and packed with things to do. The subway was nearby and easy to access. The room was larger than expected and the staff were so friendly. There was a half flight of stairs to climb to the room from the elevator, but it was very manageable. Overall this was such a pleasant experience and we will definitely be back again!

I loved the location of this Hotel. This is the part of Paris I would want to live. The neighborhood wasn't overcrowded with tourists. The cafes and restaurants across the street and on the corner felt like local hangouts not tourist traps. The four days flew by. We especially connected with Samy behind the front desk at night. He helped us with our restaurant choices and just spent time with us, helping us create a fantastic vacation. If I ever get to come back to Paris...I'll stay here again.

Fabulous customer service. We stayed three nights and first night realized our beautiful room’s tub was too difficult for one of us to get in and out of due to a disability. The staff quickly relocated us to a room with walk in shower. The hotel was immaculate and a great location in Latin Quarter. Bed super comfortable. Small refrigerator in room. Breakfast was available on site for small fee. Highly recommend.

A great boutique hotel in a nice area. Very clean and cozy. We loved our stay here, especially as we could walk to many great cafes, restaurants, and bakeries. We walked to Luxembourg garden and Pantheon. It took us ten minutes. The only thing that was a surprise to us was that the elevator stops between floors, so we had to carry our luggage down a few steps to our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My mother, sister, and I stayed in the triple room (three adults fit comfortably).This hotel is a boutique hotel that, thankfully, has an elevator. The room was compact but it had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. Housekeeping was diligent and helpful. There is breakfast every morning in the lobby and there are several walkable cafe’s near by.The only think I was not a fan of was having to leave the room key at the front desk.They have the safe key on it as well (didn’t ask if we could keep the safe key). The walls are thin but we were so exhausted from exploring Paris we didn’t care (I always use earplugs when I travel). The A/C in the room wasn’t strong but it existed. Overall, the stay was great. I would stay here again.

Hotel is wonderful and in the perfect location! Short walk to the metro makes it easy to get to/from the airport. It's only a block to the market and if you don't mind walking a bit further you can easily get to some of the major landmarks without needing to get on the metro at all. We spent a week there, and the hotel and staff were amazing. The lobby and room were always clean and welcoming. We arrived in the morning and they held our bags until the room was ready while we went out and explored. We didn't eat breakfast at all there (there are a ton of restaurants & bakeries nearby). There's a free coffee/hot chocolate machine in the lobby we made ample use of. Next time we're in Paris we'll stay here again. 10/10!

Hotel de L’Esperance to the rescue

Arrived on a late train to Paris to find ourselves locked out of the apartment, we frantically looked for alternative sleeping arrangements. Found hotel de L’Esperance available 100 meters away. The night desk manager, Thomas was so gracious, helping us check in about 3 am and helping us with our bags as well. The hotel accommodations were lovely and comfortable, providing a outstanding outcome to our problem. Thank you, Thomas!

Quiet Lovely Boutique Hotel

The Mont St Michel area is extremely busy but L'Ermitage in Beauvoir is far enough away to be quiet and tranquil. It's a lovely small hotel, with suites best suited to couples. The bathrooms are particularly luxurious. The restaurant is nicely appointed but the quality of the meals was disappointing for the price.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They were nice and made visiting a new country less intimidating. The hotel is in an area near restaurants, a pharmacy, and multiple metro stations as well as near an area with ride-sharing scooters and bikes. The hotel itself is well kept and clean. The area is small, which seems like a normal theme in Paris overall. The room we stayed in was small as well, but it was very comfortable. I would consider rebooking and recommend to friends and family.

We loved the quirky 70 vibes mixed with Parisian and modern deco in the hotel. Great location niggles in the room.

The hotel is a a great location with lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Located in a side street it was quite quiet. I sometimes wonder if some hotels get 10 year olds to furnish their rooms though. In the bathroom was a lovely big shower which meant that the basin was so arrow it had nowhere to put toiletries. In the bedroom they had put a small shelf on the wall to hold the coffee machine. This at shoulder height with a sharp projecting edge in the narrowest space
in the room. It only took two very painful hits before I learnt to dodge it.

To be honest after trying to find a place to park for over an hour we got a room at another hotel. The employee on duty was absolutely no help on finding us a place to park. That being said, i have no idea about the property or room inside. The hotel Moxy was perfect from a last minute booking to breakfast the next day.

호텔도 아담했지만 깨끗하고 뭐든게 아주 적당히 편안하고 좋았던 곳이었습니다. 로비의 직원의 응대는 전문적이고 친절했고 엘리베이터가 좀 작고 반층계단을 이용해야해서 무거운 짐이 많은 경우 좀 불편할 수 있을 것 같았습니다. 그래도 만족도가 높은 호텔이었습니다.
