The hotel is very charming, cute concept and clean. Very convenient location. Accessible, and very inviting. It was cozy. The mattress was a little bit uncomfortable since it had a body impressions and was sinking a little bit u can see it Eve standing and looking at the bed the water at the sink was getting plugged but I understand that might be because the building in Paris are old and that might be normal. Any else was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

overall it was OK but not more than average- Service was good and staff were very nice. breakfast was small and very limited (found ourselves buying breakfast in nearby cafe), and the hot-tub in the room did not work. the hotel is very small and even the reception was behind a smal desk. did not feel like a 4 star hotel.. more like a 3 stars hotel or less

The room was a bit small by world standards but perhaps normal by Parisian standards. All was comfortable.
I am a gold member and I expected better service. For example, my wife was kept waiting several hours at checkin even though a room was available. I was not given a substantial late check out even though there was no urgent need for my room. For these services the hotel wanted extra money. So, it doesn't get a good review from me.

The room was a bit tired looking . It was disappointing to have a view of a wall outside & nothing else . It was also very small & not much storage for clothes. The bed was very comfy & it was quiet at night . The lady at breakfast who served us was really friendly . The hotel is in a good location . We loved the Korean restaurant , 3 mins walk away called Seoul Mamma & the cool cocktail bar a little further on , Solera .

Quiet hotel, convenient location

This was a wonderful hotel in a quiet area. It was close to the metro and walking distance to several attractions. The street noise was minimal, and the room had an AC unit, if needed. The front desk staff were all very nice. The room was pleasant with plenty of storage space and a nice size bathroom. We did not pay for the breakfast; there are plenty of cafes nearby and we chose to go to those each morning. I woild definitely stay here again.

I chose this hotel because of its high ratings and positive reviews, but my actual experience was very disappointing.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping service was good — these were among the few positives during my stay.

Unfortunately, the hotel’s facilities were far below expectations, particularly the Wi-Fi, which severely impacted my stay. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was almost nonexistent. It only worked briefly when I kept the door open, but as soon as the door was closed, the signal disappeared completely. I stayed for four nights, and in total, my phone was connected to the Wi-Fi for less than 10 minutes. I had to rely entirely on my own mobile data throughout the stay.

Additionally, the bathroom ventilation fan was visibly covered in thick dust, showing a clear lack of proper maintenance.

During this trip, I stayed at hotels in Munich, Paris, London, and Frankfurt. This Paris hotel was the most expensive of all, yet unfortunately, it offered the worst experience.

This hotel was in an excellent location in Paris. Everything was walkable or public transportation was near by. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. The room had unique older furniture but very comfortable. Overall we loved it here and would stay again.

For the price and area I don’t think it’s worth it plus my room was tiny with no view, bed was very uncomfortable and it smelled like old people. The bathroom was nice. Half of the staff was rude. The other half was nice. I didn’t care for the area. I found a much nicer area and a much better hotel surprisingly at much better rate with super friendly staff!

Breakfast was offered at €17 but there was a lot of selection in the friendly neighbourhood cafes at less cost. Lots of attractions within walking distance and cabs or public transport were handy.

We had a wonderful experience at Hôtel Relais Saint Jacques in Paris! The entire staff, including Rebecca, Chloe, Matheo, and others, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their incredible hospitality and willingness to accommodate our needs, such as helping with our luggage and arranging transportation to the train station amidst traffic, truly exemplify their dedication to customer service. For a first time visit to Paris the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean & beautifully decorated. Mattress, pillows, linens & towels plush & very comfortable. The room was large with ample storage. We enjoyed the nespresso machine
and appreciated the in room safe. The hotel lobby with small bar & sitting area was beautiful & welcoming. The bathroom with jacuzzi tub & rainfall shower was enjoyed. Only drawback was the carpet needed a good cleaning because stains were visible on cream carpet. Slippers & bathrobes were a nice touch. We enjoyed our balcony view & felt like we received very great value through Expedia booking. Many nice cafes & boulangerie nearby. Very walkable & safe area even at night, close to all the attractions. Metro & busline very close by. The front desk staff & maid service were exceptional & attended to our every need with grace & professionalism.We would highly recommend Hotel Relais St. Jaques & and would stay here again.

I usually stay in chain hotels because there aren’t surprises, I know what to expect. For our trip to Paris I read reviews and picked a modest priced hotel in a convenient location to several sites I wanted to visit in the 2 day visit. I have rarely been so pleasantly surprised! The hotel is charming, very clean, houses a restaurant with wonderful food, quaint sitting room, but the best quality about this hotel is the staff. Never, in all my many hotel stays have I been more impressed with the friendliness and hospitality extended by a hotel staff! Everyone, from the manager to the maid, went out of their way to help us feel at home and welcomed during our stay. The manager even ran out stopping our taxi to return something I had left. If you are ever in Paris, book this hotel, you won’t be sorry!

A beautiful boutique hotel close to the centre of Paris. The standard rooms are compact, but spacious enough and beautifully decorated. I think because we asked for a bathroom with a bath, the room may have been slightly bigger than some others. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel as thought the selection seemed a bit limited for the EUR17 pp. There are plenty of other breakfast options nearby. Easy few minutes walk to the nearest RER station at Luxembourg Gardens. Nice area of the city close to the university.

Love love love this small boutique hotel in Paris! Stayed for a full week and was so sad to leave! The cutest quaint rooms, balcony/terrace options, amenities, and lovely and helpful staff. Really captured the charm and culture of such a romantic and historical city. Breakfast each morning was also a plus! Great area, away from the hustle and bustle so it’s quiet and an escape for relaxing but close enough that you can scooter and bike to everything!!!

The staff was fantastic and extremely helpful. The bathrooms were updated and very nice. However, the rooms were dated and needed refreshing. The balcony was fantastic. At first the neighborhood seemed far away from everything but we learned to like the quietness and restaurants that were within a block or so. It is true that this hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Luxembourg Gardens but the gardens are gigantic and it was a 10 minute walk to one of the ends of the gardens. I would highly recommend this hotel if a great staff is important and if a quiet safe neighborhood is important.

Great room, easy check in and check out process

Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Our window faced out onto the street with a nice view without too much vis-à-vis with the neighbours across the street. It was a very hot weekend so we really appreciated the air con! Check in and check out was very easy. We were able to leave our bags after check out for ~6/7 hours so we could explore Paris before our train back home.

It’s close to the RER, small eating places and the main sites by train. Quiet area and feels like ‘living local’ with all the charm of Paris at the door step. It was a quaint little place. My friend and I were very happy with our room, breakfast and above all was the service of the front desk. They were so sweet, personable and very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The only thing we were frustrated by was the fact that we bought outlet adapters. While the front desk person gave us two adapters to use that basically meant only the ones provided by the hotel worked which was pretty inconvenient since we have multiple things to plug-in. Besides this minor setback all else was great.

It's by the beautiful Luxembourg Palace and park, so the location itself is good. But it's not very close to metro stations - Luxembourg is the closest one but there is only one RER line running through it, so it's not the most convenient. The room itself (deluxe balcony) was tiny, wi-fi was spotty most of the times, and the view was not very good. That was the most disappointing since I booked the room mostly for that, but it was definitely not worth the price I paid for it.

Bed bugs!!!

My roommate & I are studying abroad in Paris & were locked out of our apartment for 2 days but was able to get a room last minute which was great! But although the service was good & the beds comfortable there were bed bugs in one of the beds! My roommate got so bit up she has a rash all over her body & has to go to an urgent care doctor for emergency treatment the day we checked out!

A cute and cosy hotel not too far from the city centre on foot. The bedroom was comfy with effective aircon and even a spa bath. Basic room was quite small. Staff were welcoming and helpful. As a base to just sleep in and explore the city this is perfect, although a little expensive. Overall a pleasant stay.
