If amenities is a top consideration, I’d note that the robes hung in bathroom were threadbare, one with holes, and the mattress was saggy on one side. Luggage was left unattended in the hall for hours rather than moved to the room when the room was ready. Although the hotel itself was fine I could not recommend it because of the unpleasant experience at the front desk.

Room was smaller than expected, but overall a great stay. Room was soundproof, had a nespresso machine (no kettle), AC, and shower w hot&cold. Very good location near RER and Metro as well as food and grocery. Staff were very friendly and there 24/7. You leave the keys behind with the desk, they don’t really verify with your name once you ask for your room number back, so that made me paranoid a bit but there’s a safe in-room that we used. Will stay again!

We have stayed at Hotel Le Clos Medici several times and will return again, if we have the opportunity to visit Paris again. It is conveniently located to several Paris attractions, walkable to Luxembourg Gardens, the Seine, many restaurants and shopping. The street is safe, there is a great coffee shop on the corner and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We liked the area where this hotel is located. The staff was accommodating and professional. The room was functional and nicely decorated, but typically small in size. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The glass partition in the shower needs to be longer as water sprays everywhere whether you stand under the removable shower head or hold it and spray your body.

Hotel staff were very helpful, especially Isabel (sp?) who went out of her way to assist me in trying to recover a small backpack I’d left on a train in Luxembourg. The only concern we had was that there was only one electrical outlet in our room that would charge our devices, at least on a consistent basis. Brought this to the hotels attention on departure. The hotel is not a good option if you travel in summer time because there is not air conditioner in the room. It was difficult to sleep with the high temperatures in the city. Other than that: a small room, ok for a 2 stars hotel, the space for the shower is extremely small. The breakfast was ok. There is a bus stop for the free city shuttle right in the door of the hotel, so, transportation is easy. It is also a very quiet street, close to a lot of touristic places.
I think this hotel is a good option for those spending just a night, but not in summer time.

This was our second trip staying at Hotel Le Clos Medicis, a very nice hotel and a reasonable value in Paris. We enjoy the hotel and the area it is in, Luxembourg Gardens near the Odeon Theater. We will continue to stay here on future trips.

Lovely small boutique hotel in the Latin quarter, nicely decorated throughout, reception area/lounge cosy. Beautiful bedroom and very comfy bed. 10 minutes walk to Norte dam and the river. Lots of shops, brasseries, restaurants and bars close by. Metro and RER trains also-10 min walk away. Staff friendly, continental breakfast adequate. Unfortunately building work nearby so woken early by drilling etc but thankfully came to Paris to explore so left the hotel early mornings and returned when builders had finished for the day.

The hotel was very good. I don't give any of reviews the best but is a good solid hotel. The clerks were very good and helpful. The closest Metro is the Luxembourg about a block from hotel. The Luxembourg garden is also across the street. Very good location to many restaurants, pantheon. Will stay again if in Paris

We loved our small hotel in St. Germain. Close to many outstanding bistros, unique shops nightlife and more. Service was excellent. Isabelle went above & beyond to give us a wonderful room, and helped and advised us consistently. Next trip to Paris we’d stay at Hotel Le Clos Medicis again - that’s how great it was!

It’s in a good area of the Latin Quarter and very close to the park. It’s a very quaint hotel (the elevator is big enough for two people) and you need to leave your key with the concierge when you leave. Also, they leave luggage in the lobby when you check it with them and come back for it later, which is not ideal in my experience. Additionally, the bathroom has a non-ideal build, as the glass pane to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom is impractically small, making the rest of the bathroom get wet when you shower. Overall, it’s a nice place but has some key considerations.

This property is hard for Uber and taxis to find and is extremely small. Great air conditioning. Reception requires you to leave your key at the front desk when you leave and keeps a hand written copy of yourself cc number. From an American’s perspective this was quite frightening and made me feel unsafe.
