We had a 10 day stay. Our first room was super small but we were very soon accommodated with a lovely room with a large bathroom. The hotelier was so sweet and gracious. The staff were very attentive. The breakfasts were plentiful and nutritious.

The room was clean and the view of the Eiffel Tower was great and shocked us because we weren't sure if we would get a view. I would like to tell people that we parked in the parking garage past the hotel straight ahead and we didn't find out until we left that it is $60 a day to park there, that was shocking to us after paying $12 or $16 all over Germany. The people at the hotel were nice and helpful.

The pictures on the internet look much better than the actual status of the hotel. The hotel location is great but the hotel needs better upkeep. Our room was located in the service area of the hotel and not ideal to navigate back and forth from. We had a random person walk into our room for an unknown reason and when I mentioned it to the front desk I was told it was probably one of the technicians. We did not request one so not sure why the technician would be sent to our room to begin with. There was no urgency about this matter and instead I was told not to worry.

Our stay was lovely, the property was quite small compared to pictures though and we could barely fit in the shower. The lift was not working upon arrival and we had to carry 2 backpacks and 2 large suitcases up narrow stairs to the 3rd level. It was thankfully fixed before we left. There was also roadworks outside our window the property was unaware of, not their fault, but not ideal. Very lovely patisserie next door for coffee and pastries and the restaurant/bar next door was also great for a drink.

The room was clean, although there was a smell that did go away. The bed was horrible and slanted to one side. When I told the Asian man at the desk, he said he’d have it adjusted, but he didn’t.

The room is the most basic I have ever stayed in, to the point there is no magnified mirror in the bathroom for makeup.

The most perfect Parisian hotel

It was the perfect Parisian stay. The classic French balcony- where we had a beautiful view of the city and the Eiffel Tower where we could watch it sparkle each night. Very comfortable beds and cute old elevator that worked great to get us to the 6th floor.

The AC unit had a water leak, so we notified the front desk. That was the first night. We repeated our request a second time, asking for it to be checked. No one showed up for five days to fix the problem. After five nights, the carpet was so soaked that our hallway looked like someone had dumped a bucket of water in it. The AC was in the ceiling, so the entire ceiling around was wet, the plaster was peeling, the section of wall with the outlet was completely flooded, and the paint was peeling. We placed a trash can so that the water would drip into it rather than onto the walkway. We decided turned off AC and sleep with the windows open. This was a pretty good solution. After two nights with the windows open (thankfully, the weather was nice), we spent the next two nights catching mosquitoes all over the room. The hotel was also very well located, and the breakfast was nothing special (a very limited continental breakfast, but that's only a 4-star hotel). Other than that, the stay was okay.

Very nice small hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are small like in all hotels of this category. The stairs are narrow and the elevator is very small. But the view from the rooms on the upper floors is incredible (Saint Sulpice, Invalides and Eiffel Tower). As for the location, it is simply incredible in terms of convenience. We walked to the Eiffel Tower and another day to the Opera. Notre-Dame, the Louvre and the RER are very close.

The hotel is in a perfect location, Saint Germain, Luxembourg gardens, Notre Dame, are all a few minutes walk away. The hotel is small and sweet and clean, and we enjoyed our stay, however, do know that the rooms are very small and basic, and especially the bath is VERY small. Also, walls are very thin and you can hear your next door neighbors very clearly. I still rate it as excellent, I was with my daughter, and it was perfect for us despite these small issues. Staff were always nice and helpful, too.

1st - its ideally located. Right next to a place to eat, a few minute walk to the Odéon metro stop, and within 2-3 blocks of many cafes,restaurants and other retail shops. Its in the Latin Quarter so a 15-minute walk gets you to the Pantheon, Notre Dame, the Louvre and Saint Chappelle.
2nd - really good breakast with diversity in food options. Cold cuts, cheeses, breads, croissants (yum), yogurt, eggs (hard-boiled & scrambled), sausages, pastries, plus coffeees, teas and hot chocolate (

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was small but had everything I needed—except for a mini refrigerator. As many guests have mentioned, you can hear noise from other rooms, but I brought earplugs and had no issues. The elevator, stairs, and rooms are quite small, but given that it's an old building, this wasn’t surprising.

Breakfast was good, with plenty of options, though the price felt a bit high. What I loved the most was the location. There’s a supermarket just around the corner, and best of all, the RER station is only one block away, making it incredibly convenient to catch the train back to CDG airport.

Overall, a great option if you prioritize location over space

This is a bare-bones hotel. It was perfect for us because we were on a tight budget and didn’t spend much time in the room. It was located just blocks from everything, offered a nutritious breakfast, had very helpful staff, and plenty of hot water. It also had a working elevator, maid service, and clean sheets. The room was very small, but hey, it's Paris. For us, it was perfect.

Front desk people very friendly and helpful. The only real negative was it was very loud! Noise from adjoining rooms was incredible. You heard every sneeze, cough, etc. You get the picture. Our neighbors were extremely inconsiderate (not the hotel's fault.) If I was a light sleeper, it would've been a serious problem.

The single rooms are small but have all the necessary facilities. Showers are easy to use and water is hot immediately. The staff at reception are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is fine with quite a large choice for 13 euros. There are buses to most locations very handy to the hotel, as is the Odeon metro station. Huge selection of restaurants nearby. I have stayed here many times over the years and have never had a bad experience - but ask for a room at the back as the ones over the street can be noisy!

Air conditioner did not work! We opened the windows which unfortunately let in a ton of mosquitos. I woke up with 7 itchy bites. Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, however I’ve found this to be true with a lot of other hotels throughout France. Great location. Friendly staff. However, I will be choosing a different hotel the next time I’m in Paris.

I spent six nights here for my first trip to Marseille, and overall, I was extremely satisfied. The location is especially want to be in a heart of.Vieux Port. Just a few steps from both the metro and the bus lines it was very easy to navigate the city and the sights. I did Find my room a bit too small for a six night stay, But the good service offered by the hotel, and the location made up for it. If I return to Marseille, I will definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights in their family room and were not disappointed. We had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower from our room (room 50), and the room itself was exceptionally clean and spacious. The hotel itself really does have that authentic Parisian feel and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a great location for a superb choice of eateries and also the Metro, which is essential to get to all the main attractions. Get yourself a Navigo pass for the week as it’s much cheaper and more convenient for getting around (you’ll need a small passport photo for the pass so get this in advance!).
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Notre Dame and a 25 minute walk from the Louvre. It really is in a fantastic location and the short walk to the Metro is convenient for trips to the Eiffel Tower, Moulin Rouge and the Sacre-Coeur.
Myself and my sisters couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will certainly be back!

The building very old and tired.
Very noises.. paper thin walls and very noisy street. Bar/pub beside the hotel, so everyone was very loud till 2am. Plus street was very busy with people just walking.
Staff.. weekend day/night were great.
Monday day manager was working. Very rude and and very aggressive on he spoke. Ask for my room # walking out the door to start my day. I asked why? Said he must know.. so i told him.. then went to leave.. then told i must leave my key?. WTAF.. yah no. Why.. no reasons and told me i would have to pay €200 for a replacement.
Never saw that in any fine print. When I question him who he was..like the owner.. he said yes... then quickly change to just employee.
Apparently not the only person who had issues with this guy. Also told by staff the hotel has changed ownership and they simple do not care about reviews like this. There just there to take your money and nothing more nothing less.

Bathroom is disgusting. Little to no soap provided. Shower towels are like hand towels.
The elevator old and cage style.. barely fits 2 people, never mind your bags.

Anyways don't recommend this place.. .to expensive for what it is... only thing is in a pretty good location.. but so are quite a few others!!

We came to rely on Eliza, who was at the desk during the day, and Youssef and Mourad who were there to greet us at night. Great location. Comfortable and clean rooms. A well-run hotel. Hotel St. Pierre is more like an overpriced Hostel. I originally chose it because of location, but I once I was there, I saw how many other options there are nearby, so I suggest checking those out first if you prefer a hotel.

The main guy who works front desk is rude and yells at his staff in front of customers, so he shouldn't be client facing at all.

The elevator breaks down every other day, so be prepared to walk up and down five flights or more. Two of my wall outlets were broken and the hair dryer and fridge didn't work. The tub was dirty when I checked in, and the only thing clean in the room was the twin bed.
Given all of these facts, it should be a fraction of the price.

Positives: Yussef was the most helpful and should be the main person at the front desk. Look out for him.

Tip: If you're there in the warm months, ask for a fan at the front desk, as the \"AC\" works as well as a sigh of disbelief.

Hostel St. Pierre feels more like work than a vacation.

Room was very small, like most hotel rooms in Paris. Carpet had stains and room had unpleasant smell. Door to bathroom would not close. TV hung at a weird angle and tv arm bracket wouldn't move properly to the side. Hotel definitely needs a renovation. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but I guess there is not much they can do at the moment. Location overall is great: close to shopping and dining as well as to the Jardin du Luxembourg.

Great stay in the Latin quarters. Easy access to transportation. Hotel is small and old but rooms were surprisingly nice. Don’t expect anything fancy, but most rooms in Paris are small and our room had enough room for three people. We didn’t eat breakfast there but opted to eat at various restaurants in the area. The biggest wow moment came when we walked out onto the balcony and realised we had an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower from room #46! Amazing bonus!
