I was lucky enough to spend 9 nights at this wonderful hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Room was comfortable, clean and quite. It is tucked into a corner of Place Saint Sulpice. The location is superb; close to restaurants and shopping, walkable to major attractions plus metro stations were only a couple blocks away. I look forward to returning to this hotel in the future.

Absolutely loved this boutique hotel in St Germain district. The staff could not have been nicer, the rooms were super comfortable and the little jar of sweets and afternoon tea with cake in the lounge just made it all so authentic! The complete opposite to a chain hotel.

There is a delightful happy hour in the hotel bar from 5-6 pm. Can’t wait to return. It will be my home away from home in Paris!

This was a beautiful stay. Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond in all ways. The attention to detail is what really made it special. The hotel location is tucked away but still in the middle of everything. That may be the other best thing about it. Smaller rooms but well thought out and managed to have everything in place you could need or want. I loved it here and can’t wait to visit again.

Great comfortable place to stay! Super friendly staff. Clean conditions. Very stylish. And great location! Loved everything about my stay here especially the tea time, reliable wifi as I had to work remote, and easy access to everywhere. Felt very safe as a solo traveler and reception is 24/7. Would def stay here again if I could. Room was cleaned every day and received complementary water bottle. There is also a safe in the room.

For price, $500/night room was way too small. Barely enough room to walk around. Pics on sight are misleading. We also had a brick wall view. Faucet leaked and AC took a long time to cool. No room to hang very many clothes. If you use an iron and board, you have to return it that day because they need it for others. Barely enough room to sit up a board. You have to turn your key in at front every time you leave because they only have one. Highly don’t recommend this facility.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. This is a very petite but lovely hotel, however the pillows were very uncomfortable and there was no kettle in the room, as a regular traveller these are essentials for me personally, so I probably wouldn’t stay again! Rooms were compact but well appointed. I had room 15 which had a small closet for the toilet and a separate small shower room. Maybe ask for a different room if you’d prefer a combined bathroom!
Free tea, cake and snacks in the lounge in the afternoon was appreciated! I was also treated with a half bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival, a nice touch! Overall a good boutique hotel in a lovely area of Saint Sulpice.

Next to church St. Sulpice, but tiny entrance was hard to find for us and for deliveries & taxis. The room, though it did have a balcony, was TINY. and the bathroom also tiny. The staff did not tell us about afternoon refreshments, though they told other guests as we were leaving. Breakfast, not included for us, was minimal for the price and offered little more than the Express one that was coffee, juice and bakery items. The staff, though pleasant, felt like they were reprimanding me for things like how to carry my travel documents and how to wait for a taxi. The view from the balcony of the large fountain and church was great, but otherwise I would not stay here again.

My friend and I met in Paris for a quick trip. The Hotel Recamier's location in St. Germain des Pres cannot be beat! It is in the heart of everything and on the plaza for St. Sulpice church.
My only comment to potential guests is to be aware that although the hotel advertises that it has a bar and airport transportation, it does not. It has a lounge area where the hotel staff will serve you beer and wine if you ask for it and it will arrange for a taxi or private car for you to get to the airport, but the hotel itself does not provide the service. One reason we booked this hotel over others was because of those two amenities listed, which turned out to be not what we were expecting. Otherwise, the decor is great, the beds comfortable and it was a wonderful stay.

The Best Hotel and Arrondissement in Paris
This was the best of 3 different locations we stayed in Paris. It is across the street from Saint Sulpice. The hotel has tea time between 4-6 pm every day. The room was cozy, comfortable with amenities... wifi, mini fridge, shower, tv (audio setting for English) and the staff was professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Everything was within walking distance from this hotel. There were many restaurants, clothing/shoe shops and the Luxembourg garden and the Louvre are both only 4 blocks away. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Paris. Out of the 8th, 7th and 6th Arrondissements... this one (6th) was the best.

The staff is fabulous. We felt like VIPs! The location is stellar. Lots of restaurants a quick one block walk away and a taxi stand close by. The room is small, but comfortable. The shower is quite big for the room size. Fabulous breakfast served to order with pastries and other options available to pick up if in a hurry. The staff was very helpful in making suggestions of things to do nearby, getting us tickets for tours, and basically doing everything they could to make our time in Paris enjoyable. I traveled with my daughter, and having someone sitting at the front desk 24 hours a day made us feel extra safe. Everyone spoke English which made and easy to communicate with the staff. Very quiet with a beautiful church and fountain just across the street. View of the Eiffel Tower from our mini balcony. This hotel was exactly what I pictured in my head for my first visit to Paris. You do leave your key with the front desk as you leave the hotel, which was great, no keeping track of it on our busy days. No coffee maker or iron in the room. The staff can accommodate your pressing needs and if you ask, will magically have coffee appear in their dining room. We received a hand written welcome note on our first night, very personal touch. I will most definitely stay with the Hotel Recamier and their 5-star staff on my next visit to Paris!!
