Would not recommend this hotel. The photos on site are very glorified. Location is amazing but there are tons of alternative hotels in the area with better accommodations. Extremely loud construction across the street as of 2/4/26 that starts at 6am. At check out I asked for a water and I was told it is not complimentary which is insane.

Good hotel, but I wouldn’t say it’s great. The room was quite small as expected, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the washroom, especially the shower. But wow was the toilet in a tight spot. Best thing about this hotel was the location - plenty of restaurants and cafes around it, and very close to the metro.

Wonderful hotel in the 6th Arr.

We had initially booked a different hotel which upon checking in we immediately began looking for a new one.

We are so happy we chose the Odéon Hotel. The location was perfect; walking distance to cafes, shopping, and the metro. We even walked to Notre Dame and the Louvre. We always felt safe, even walking late at night.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our room on the 2nd floor was perfect for me and my daughter. Plenty of space, clean and comfortable.

Have stayed here several times this stay was June 2025. Clean, great AC, wonderful bedding, large shower and a friendly/helpful staff. Located in the Latin Quarter perfect for us as a home base to explore the city; with a quaint breakfast room to start the day. Evening cocktails and bistro’s steps outside the front door. The location is prime - quieter street off the busy one (Saint Germain Blvd) - lots of good restaurants nearby and metro a few steps away. Easy to get an uber if going far; and walkable to main attractions such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg garden, Pantheon, the Louvre, etc. The room was small but very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was updated with an amazing shower. However, it did make the bathroom floor wet, but it got better after we closed the shower door differently to prevent the water from dripping on the edge. It was the first time my husband and I visited Paris and we loved this hotel. The staff was very friendly :) and it was super easy and convenient to leave the room key at the front desk when leaving the hotel.

This 3 star hotel deserves the three stars and nothing more. The room is small, the shower leaks leaving everything soaking wet, the sheets were dirty and the cleaning lady forgot to do our room one of the days (supposedly). Overall the staff is nice, but the hotel needs to be refurbished

Forget the romantic roof-tops.

Luckily the reception attendant was nice enough to find a solution. The only type of room available, on the 6th floor, was so bad that I said I couldn’t stay there. He sent us to another group hotel in the same general area (which was renovated and of a great standard). i recommend that you stay at this hotel which has a fantastic location and nice staff, but only up to the 4th floor.

One of the best staffs ever & le's face it, I have ben to Europe 81 times. HaveI counted on purpose? No. In 1997, someone asked me to count so I have not stopped them. The location is excellent, in the heart of the 6th arr. In Paris, a block and a half away from a big Metro hub, and less than a block away to restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shopping and movie theatres. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but bathrooms have been renovated. I have stayed here before, this time I was in the 6th floor and from our window we could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

The downside is that rooms are dated, the corridor leading to the rooms is creepy, the shower floor was tilted away from the drain for some reason and water was not draining and spilling out of the shower, so not so pleasant.

Great hotel! The location is fantastic. Plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, etc. around. Also very accessible by metro. My wife and I stayed here on our first trip to Paris. We arrived at 10am and they already had our room ready for us which allowed us to get a nap in before going out to explore after having traveled all the prior night. The rooms are very small but they’re everything you should need. Nice (small) bathrooms with glass showers w/ rainfall shower heads. Also included daily snacks in the evening in the lobby.

Such a nice hotel! Well located, safe and relatively quiet street near restaurants, shopping, sight seeing and metro. Nicely refurbished with modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Great service at front desk, room cleaning, and breakfast. Rooms are small but functional, as is the elevator. Definitely will return. Sonia at the front desk helped us check in early (so nice after a long flight) and arranged for our airport taxi, as well as always being friendly.

Perfect location for many cafes, and restaurants, walking distance to Louvre and we walked to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. Like many, the Odeon is an older city building so the rooms are fairly small. Workers were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was first class.

However, I thought the breakfast options should include more fruit and the reception staff weren't always very helpful or friendly. I felt that their only job was to check in and check out guests. They certainly did not have any interest in giving me extra information.

The hotel was the perfect spot for exploring the whole of Paris. Walking distance to the Musee D’Orsay and Rodin Museums and just two minutes from public transport. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Small rooms but that’s to be expected in Paris

Great location and very nice staff. We paid about €250 for one night in August. Our room on the 6th floor had a view of the Eiffel Tower. I would recommend for brief stays or ones where you are only at the hotel to sleep, as the rooms are fairly small and you can hear people in other rooms. Some cons - the sink and shower drains were very slow. The floors were a bit slanted and the ceilings were low. But it was not at bad place to spend the night.

Well located lovely small hotel.

We’ve stayed many times in this neighborhood but think we have found our new home in Paris. Extremely well located with sparse but kind staff and interesting rooms. The upgrades and remodel are starting to need care but the excellent cleaning staff keep it spotless. The addition of AC has made all the difference in the historic building. We hope they replace the remaining single pane windows with double pane before we arrive next year.

Situated in the Saint Germaine area of Paris and only one block from Saint Germaine-des-Pres. (where you find the taxis) Walkable to the Seine, Louvre and the Luxembourg gardens. Plenty of outdoor dining options and most offered English menu's. Staff was professional & courteous. Convenient to all shopping.

Excellent location, modern & small bathroom, friendly staff,extremely tiny room( we booked standard room), very old building. When neighbors walked or left the room we we would hear them.
Needs new carpeting and new doors.

Charming hotel in a fabulous location right off Blvd St. Germain. The complimentary snack bar was a lovely touch and the rooms were very pretty and 'Parisian.' Our only complaint would be the room size (tiny, with almost no walking space around the bed), and there was no hair dryer which I would expect at this price point.

Best think about this property is the location in the heart of St. Get sin des Pres, and its proximity to 2 major Metro lines, to many Paris attractions and monuments, and to many cafes, restaurants and bakeries.

Timeless Quality Spruced Up

I’ve been staying here for 30 years but not since Covid.
The place has been spruced up with a new lobby and sitting room. Very pretty. I think the old timers retired as everyone is new and very nice and helpful. Elegant.
The hotel’s between the Odeon theater and the Metro.
Chi chi Paris neighborhood. I can walk to the Louvre through the art gallery district. There’s a little grocery story and a great bakery two or three minutes walk away. The St. Germain market is close, too, for food shopping sprees.

Breakfast is delicious.

Beautiful hotel very centrally located. Rooms were Parisian sized, staff was friendly and extremely helpful. There was a fire in an apartment above the hotel and they comped my room for the inconvenience of the interruption, without me asking. Very generous.
