A few minor points in the room that could be easily fixed.

The toilet was running constantly and flushed itself a few times.

The sink plug leaked so to keep water in it, had to keep running.

Both of those could be fixed easily so no problem.

The hotel was located in a really good location. The room despite was very small with a full site bed for a couple, was very clean and in good condition.

We selected it hotel between others because it offered AC. It was very disappointed that the sundering after the first night the AC was setting up centrally to be off. Although they solved thw problem the next day. We had to spend one night without AC with the windows open as they suggested, and our privacy was compromised because we faced an apartment Windows.

The hotel is really good! It is super close to the Pantheon, close to luxembourg station which gives direct access to the airpoirt, and also close to several bus station and other subway stations. It is a safe neighboorhod.
Room is clean, it is a small room, but not too small, bed is confortable. The only thing is that the bathroom is too small and this makes easy to water goes out of the box which can be a bit annoying. But in the second day, I found a way to avoid this from happening.
Staff is really nice, friendly and helpful. They indicated to me restaurants and places that I could go.

I like the neighbourhood. It very accessible to public transportation and high street shopping. There are also a lot of dining options, from different cuisines to varying prices. Overall positive experience, and will definitely stay here again when I come back to Paris.

Brilliant location.Easy to get to by train.Nice walks to many of main attractions. Nice square within 100 yards - great for breakfast and nightcaps. BUT- room 42 (basic cost) had a tiny shower room which was frustrating when freshening up. Larger people or with mobility issues would really sruggle struggle.

The hotel is clean, the staff is lovely. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are very, very small and the bathrooms are microscopic. Taking a shower was a challenge, and I'm thin. We avoided the breakfast. It's limited in options and not appetizing. There are lots of amazing options nearby for less money. I recommend it for short stays and if you're planning on staying out most of the time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Design. The only negatives are what was said before; small bathrooms and small rooms. Other than that, the front desk staff were amazing. They were helpful with storing our belonging and assisting when we could not access our TV for the WiFi code. We would choose to stay here again, but might opt for a larger room.

Hotel is not as Described in Hotel.com Page

Stayed 2 nights (Classic Double Room Design 108 Sq Ft) and 5 nights (Deluxe Double Room Design 183 Sq Ft) in 2 different reservations.
Grateful with Georges and Raúl, at the front desk, that alloud us to leave 2 suicases at the hotel while we travelled the South of France for a week and come back for our 2nd reservation.
TINY room, including the 183 Sq Ft máximum área room available at the hotel, TINY bathroom, TINY common areas and TINY lift that allouds 1 person inside.
Hotel.com is offering a hotel that doesn’t match with reality. Hotel Design Sorbonne doen’ have a Bar/Lounge, nor Coworking Spaces, nor a Library. It doesn’t either offer Coffe/Tea in common areas, and it’s impossible without a Bar to offer the Silver Member Exclusive Offer of 19 Euro Credit Beversge per Room, per Stay offered in my resevation.
VIP Access Property? IMPOSIBLE!
Raúl did his best when asked for a glass of Ice and gave me some. He did all he could to make our stay less unconfortable.
The hotel is not as described in the web Page of Hotels.com. To use the exact Words of how I fell: Sincerely, I felt CHEATED.
Hotels nearby with similar rates offers better facilities. Will definetely not come back. BUT PLEASE! Need to trust the description of the Hotels, in Hotels.com WebPage/App, when making a booking. Have been a member since 2011, with actual Silver Status; was Gold for many years too.

The shower did not work properly and caused water to leak onto the bathroom floor. A puddle of water so big that I needed three towels to dry it up. When I told the management about the shower they offered to give us more towels but did not try to fix it. The bathroom was too tiny- even by big city standards. I’ve stayed in small hotel rooms but this was ridiculously small and poorly designed. Disappointing experience.

Cozy romantic room with a view of the Sorbonne. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, everything felt clean and fresh while getting to stay in the oldest part of Paris with all its history! Extremely walkable able to get around the Latin Quarter, St Germaine, le Marais and the Isle with Notre Dame with ease, no need for transport. Extensive amount of dining options and historical sites steps outside your door, stumbled across the Pantheon and Luxembourg Gardens our first day without even consulting a map. Very friendly staff available 24/7. Highly recommend!

Great place, good price.

Great experience, hotel and room were nicely decorated. Room had a safe which was a plus. Lots of wall plugs, hair dyer in bathroom. Breakfast was adequate. There is a small elevator which really helped with luggage. This was a great part of town, quiet at night, safe, close to the Luxembourg gardens, easily accesible by the RER from airport. There was an awesome crepe place on the corner.

Lovely cost effective hotel with few downsides

Lovely little hotel, nice and local to the Latin quarter which does the best food and has a great nightlife. Close to the metro to get around, and some lovely breakfast places nearby. Hotel was clean, staff were fantastic and friendly. Bed was comfy. Downsides is it did not have a kettle, and the shower was a box, like you could put your elbows on both sides without stretching.

We really truly enjoyed staying at the Hotel Design La Sorbonne . The staff was super nice and welcoming, the room was kept clean all the time and that makes a great difference once you go out and explore and you come back to relax.

Breakfast was quite complete and a must have addition to add to your stay since you want to go and start your day with that

We stayed at Hotel Design Sorbonne for 10 days during our stay in Paris, we were able to walk everywhere from this location including the Eiffel Tower with some good walking shoes. Everything we needed was just around the corner.

The staff were all lovely and very helpful, would recommend getting the breakfast buffet in the morning to start your day. They changed all the locks for every room halfway through our stay which could have been an inconvenience but the friendly and accomodating reception staff navigated the situation very well.

Special shout out to the bar Le Duc (which is rolling distance from the hotel) and its owner soso, and if your looking for a perfect French meal the La Petite Périgourdine restaurant is just around the corner.

We have a fantastic time here and would recommend it to everyone looking for somewhere central in Paris.

Cute, quaint rooms, big for Europe. Friendly staff. Beware if you have the hotel call a taxi, the taxi will charge 11.90 euro plus base fare just to pick you up. Staff did not seem very knowledgeable of the area with advise, but they did let me use the breakfast area for an important call and were very friendly. Great area, short walk to lots of cafes and shopping.

As with many hotels in Paris, Hotel Design is on a tiny scale. However, our room was freshly decorated, very clean and comfortable. The staff at the 24/7 front desk were kind, courteous and helpful. We did not partake in the breakfast, but the cafe room was charming and spacious. Overall a lovely stay and perfect home base for exploring the Latin Quarter and all of Paris.

Please remember to check what VIP expedia gives you ! Its 3 stars only, but I had to ask for the room to be cleaned as its not overly up to a 3 star standard of cleaning, I would have to give it a 1 star, cobwebs, dust and shower all dirty on arriva, check shower and taps onceyouarriveboth where brokenand got fixed, they where good enough by giving us a kettle, k.We had personal letters from family to head to our next stop Israel, once we arrived and check or bags letters have beetaken, and money, please leave nothing in your room at any time.tea,coffee and two paper cups! No milk.

Fantastic location in the Lstin Quarter near everything. Clean and quiet, front desk staffed 24:7, leave your key when you go out.
Building was being renovated when we stayed, so my perception of the overall space may be off.
Room we had was clean, neat snd TINY, which is expected in Paris, buy this one was really tiny. Comfy bed, enough room for our clothes, and a functional bathroom.
We had a couple of minor issues with service- one day a vacuum cleaner was lreft directly in front of our door in a narrow hallway for 18 hours until we told the front desk. More worrisome, we asked one of the desk clerks to order a cab for the airport, he said he would, but didn't. Not a language issue as my partner speaks perfect French. We discovered the error in time, so all went fine in the end.
Alll in all good value for the price we paid in that area. We would stay there again.
