Great location near Notre Dame, Jardin Luxembourg, and St Germain des Pres. The rooms are small and close together so some noise can travel, but it was quaint.
Skip the breakfast and go half a block to your right and get fresh coffee and croissant from a boulagetie then walk to JdL and enjoy the view.

It was so loud at night (staff and hotel operations) that I had to download a white noise app and even went out to the lobby at midnight to complain about a cart being drug up and down the stairs. The room was too hot and there was no way to cool it. The breakfast had many options but for $14 the scrambled eggs shouldn't have been cold. While everyone was nice, the room was very disappointing.

This place will always have a special in my family’s heart. Front desk staff are so nice & helpful. Location is amazing. Luxembourg station is just around the corner. Bus stops everywhere. Lots of places we could go to. Very safe for late evening walks. My mom loved it!

Location was good with 3 mins walk to Luxembourg gardens, 5 mins walk to Pantheon, and 15 mins walk to Notre-Dame. Bus stop and metro station are also very close, although we did not use public transportation. Hotel and room were clean. Elevator was very small. Only three people fit at a time. However, we managed it with no issues. The best part was the number of restaurants in the area. I wish breakfast was included in the price. Breakfast was extra and a little bit expensive.

One thing I made sure is to get a hotel with three beds as advertised in Expedia property detail. But they set me in a room with one king(two join twin) and one sofa bed which I made the claim and they didn’t resolve this arguing that was the only available option and error was on Expedia side.
Couldn’t find another option to move too.

Wi-Fi never worked or was slow as hell. Breakfast offer to paid at hotel was nice and a good option as nothing is open for breakfast around until 11am.

We had a lovely stay. I was a little nervous about noise being on the first floor but it was very quiet and a non-issue. The room was small but we barely spent time in it so didn’t matter to us at all. The water machine was a god send given how hot it was and it was so nice being right outside our room. The metro and bus stations are right there but we walked most places too! The AC was actually full blown AC and kept us nice and cool!

The Hotel Elysa was a great location. If you love to walk beautiful city streets and are open to taking the bus, you can access the major sites within a half hour. The hotel itself was very accommodating and offers a pack and play for children. The breakfast buffet was beautiful and well worth the additional cost for slow mornings with little ones. All the staff were welcoming and kind.

We loved staying at the Hotel Elysa! It is in the perfect location for exploring Paris. Metro stop and bus stop very close by. Across the street from Jardin du Luxembourg. We had a few picnics there! There is a boulangerie across the street as well as a convenience store. Many good dining options nearby. Staff are very friendly and helpful! Beds are comfortable.

Our deluxe room was very clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful with directions around Paris and also lent us a travel adapter for the duration of our stay which we really appreciated. The hotel itself is very conveniently located in the Latin quarter with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. It also felt safe and family oriented being close Jardin Du Luxembourg.

Property is right next to the Luxembourg gardens and the Pantheon. Walkable area and about 25 minute walk to the Louvre. Staff was kind and accommodating. The room was small, but I really appreciated the bathtub, not a common feature. Really enjoyed my stay there.

Location was awesome as it was a bit more chill by the Jardin. We walked almost everywhere but the metro and train stations were close by. Room was ok size for 2 but the toilet area was too small and awkward to use. The seat was way too high and you bumped your head into the door. Good that it had a tiny elevator as the stairs were very curved. Staff were nice and place was clean.

Elevator is very tiny and antiquated, but worked well when we needed it. Water filling station in lobby was awesome. Room was ready for early check in when we got there at 12:30pm, so we were quite happy about that. Would stay again, but wifi needs to perform better. Good stay 👍!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was the perfect stay for our first time in Paris. The hotel staff is so kind and accommodating. We arrived early and they were not just able to give us our room early but they also upgraded us. Area is so safe and convenient. Nena and and older gentleman who was at the desk at nights were highlights. Would recommend to anyone and would love to come back soon!

Initially put in a first floor room that had a broken fan and no ability to open windows to try to circulate air. It was also very noisy due to being next to the lobby and facing the street. It also smelled musty. After a horrible first night, we were moved to a different room that was much quieter and cooler. I am flad they addressed our problems but they really need to do something about that first floor room.

Hotel Elysa has an AMAZING location on the Latin Quarter. Everything in our room was super clean. The bed was super comfortable, the area where it is located is full of restaurants, across the main street you find one of the RER stations. The area is very safe to walk at night. The rooms have a small fridge which is super useful, and the staff was very kind. I will love to stay again at Hotel Elysa on my next trip to Paris.

So close to the Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens and the Metro “B” line for anything else! The room was clean and well appointed. On the 5th floor we had a balcony. So lucky without expecting it, we had views of the Eiffel Tower! Amazing!
Lift broke during the stay, but staff stayed all night waiting for technicians. No coffee in the room, but the foyer has a Nespresso machine for use whenever you like. Not much time needed in the room anyway when you are in such a great location!

We enjoyed our time at Hotel Elysa - Luxembourg, and would stay again. The location was great, very convenient to public transit (including RER to CDG) and in a neighborhood with many food options. Our 6th floor room was spacious and quiet. Although the elevator not working when we arrived was inconvenient, it was repaired the next day. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful.

This hotel was not our favorite. The room was very small but that was to be expected. The elevator was too small so if you have a lot of luggage you will have to carry it upstairs. Some of the employees were nice but others were not as nice. Overall it was an average stay. However, the area around the hotel is really good. You can walk to Luxembourg Garden, Le Pantheon, Norte Dam, lots of restaurants near by. The train station is just down the street and it was convinient for the day we decided to go to Disneyland.

Superb location in the Latin Quarter, delightfully near so much - Luxembourg Garden and Palace, the Pantheon (and Emily in Paris home!), we walked to Notre Dame our first morning there. Right at the train station from CDG airport. Wonderful, pleasant staff, can’t say enough about everyone working there, Comfy bed, fun stairs, Parisian elevator, Parisian street views, Parisian petit dejeuner, the place we’ll return to the next time we visit!

Great hotel half a block from Luxembourg Gardens. Rooms are Parisian size but that is what makes it delightful. Staff was pleasant and helpful! We were on the 6 th floor so on the rooftops of Paris and if you were brave enough to step out on the tiny balcony off the bathroom there was an incredible view of the gardens and The Eiffel Tower!. Good Parisian stay!

Wonderful hotel in a great location

First of all, the location is incredible. It is located on a quiet street just off Boulevard Saint-Michel, right next to the Luxembourg gardens and walking distance to the Seine. The hotel is very clean and is kept in a great condition. Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The room size was adequate for a family of 3 and overlooked a beautiful Parisian street. The breakfast had a good variety of food and there was complimentary espresso available in the lobby 24/7! Overall, an excellent place to stay in Paris. Highly recommended!

Great location near the Luxembourg Gardens. Expensive for the caliber of hotel, very small room (even by European standards), and lack of amenities, plus some lack of cleanliness and condition of room. The shower had wallpaper in it that had blaxk looking mold seeping through. Perhaps the wallpaper was there hiding a bigger problem? The bathroom was otherwise very clean. There were no shampoo or conditioner, and only a very watered-down shower gel and some soap. There was no laundry bag in the room. There was a very strong scent in rhe room like perfume or a deodorizer. I liked the location but don't think that I would stay here again.

We are so thankful we stayed here. The hotel is in a great location 100 meters from the RER train and a 5-10min walk from the Odeon Metro. So easy to get around. The area is safe, clear and professional.
Plenty of restaurants nearby and a wonderful bakery and convenience store just opposite. We bought fresh croissants and baked goods for breakfast every day so did not sample the available breakfast.
Our room was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The small fridge was perfect. Towels were changed every day we asked for room service even though we left them drying on the towel heater. The shower was powerful and always hot. The interaction we had with the staff was always pleasant. We arrived 30 mins earlier than the check-in time but the room was ready for us.
The only improvement needed is the Wi-Fi in our room. Everywhere else it was super fast measuring 323Mbps download in the corridor immediately outside our room door (Speedsmart App). However inside the room the speed dropped off the almost zero by the beds and was 20Mbps near to the door at the desk which was useable but very slow. Our room #104 is a corner room in the building. When I provided this feedback at checkout I learned that Hotel Elsysa had a whole new Wi-FI network installed a few months ago. I'm sure they will look into and fix the anomaly in that particular room. Despite this issue we would come back to stay here and do not hesitate giving the Hotel and staff a sound recommendation.
