The Hotel is in a great location with easy access to more than 1 metro station, boulangeries and restaurants. Rue Mouffetard is closed as well as the Museum de Plants which I recommend to visit. The Pantheon is close also and the Arenas de Lutece. The Hotel is family friendly and the bathroom was fine and water was as hot as you wanted.

It was a quick walk to Notre Dame and a few other areas we wanted to visit. When I booked the hotel on Expedia, it said we could check in at 1430. My husband checked the hotel site and it said 1400 but at check in, we were told we had to wait until 1500. Yes, 30 mins might not seem a lot but we had an overnight flight and made it to the hotel with more time to kill then we thought and were falling asleep in the lobby. I would have loved to pay for early check in. We also didn't expect the bathroom walls to be see-through (Luckily we are married and weren't travelling with friends).

The hotel location was the best part. Right at the corner where the bus stop is and the Metro station as well. It is surrounded by bakeries. It is 3-min walk to a small street lined with restaurants of all budgets. It is a 20 minute walk to Notre Dame. The staff was friendly enough, nothing above and beyond, the rooms are spacious (for Europe) and clean. Small elevator, and they only has the one, but no big deal. Would definitely return.

Nice quiet street. Rooms were small but comfortable. Unfortunately elevator was out of order during our entire stay and we were on the top floor, stairs were pretty hazardous and lighting in the stairs were not helping as they were motion activated especially with cleaning trolleys be left in stairwells.

The room smelled muggy. The shower and and bathroom had hair. At night, past 12 midnight, we arrived at our hotel and the hotel was locked. There wasn’t an option to use our keycard to enter main hotel door. There was a doorbell but it took 10 minutes for the desk agent to answer and open the door. He a so the door in socks, without shoes. It appeared he was asleep somewhere.

My two young adult sons stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. They are covered in bed bug bites now. We are concerned that the bugs infected the backpacks, and now are in our home.

Collectively, the staff between May 16-20 were rude and not helpful. The clerk on the 21st checkout was friendly. These rooms are very small; the carpet is gross; the bathroom sink was plugged for the entire 5 night stay; there is not an iron/board in the room. I appreciated the coffee maker and blow dryer provided. We would not choose this location again due to size of room and majority of staff.

I understand this is a three star hotel but I did not realise that this meant I’d be compromising cleanliness. The room was extremely dusty and no matter what you did, dust was constantly everywhere. It was thick as if it had not been dusted in 2 months. There was a stale smell to the room, particularly inside the cupboards which made it a nuisance to access the safe and hang coats, as the smell was so strong it would hit you in the face as soon as the door opened. The water pressure in the bathroom was poor, and the door handle to the bathroom door was hanging off. The walls are also extremely thin and we were woken extremely early in the mornings by banging and creaking noises, which sounded like the cupboards opening and closing. The staff were generally pleasant however there was one member of staff in particular that was quite rude and unwelcoming. I do not recommend staying in this hotel, it was truly an awful experience.

One downside was shower temperature was a bit erratic. And our room appears to have been painted just before our arrival. So the room stank of paint and the walls in the bathroom were still wet.

Unfortunately this property fell down in many ways. Whilst the staff were friendly the property itself is what let it down. Understandably it’s Paris but the hallways were very narrow and the room itself was very cramped. We were also surprised that there was no fridge which is odd in a hotel. The bed was uncomfortable and could perhaps do with a topper especially if guests, like us, walk everywhere. You really do need somewhere comfortable to rest your head.

As for the area, it was excellent. Not too far from places we wanted to see. There are plenty of bolongaries where you can get freshly baked croissants and other delicious treats. If you’re a coffee connoisseur though, Paris is not the place to get a good one. Most places do offer coffee but honestly it’s terrible. My suggestion, get it black.

All in all and at the end of the day, we had a bed to rest our weary heads and a shower to wash away the day. Best Western Latin Quarter whilst not terrible, definitely was a 3 star hotel.

Rooms do not have mini fridge or even ice/icebucket. You won't think that the champagne capital of the world would have some way of chilling wine/champagne or even water. Rooms have poor lighting, the bathrooms are so dark . Staff not very friendly or accomodating. Heating and or a/c is turned on at front desk which was strange. Not sure how they got a 3 star rating

Our room was the smallest room we've ever stayed in. You couldn't even open a large suitcase unless it was on the bed. The shower doesnt have a door or curtain and the wall doesn't go far enough so water gets on the floor. I made an expensive purchase and had it sent to the hotel. When i arrived it was sitting next to the desk. I just picked it up and the lady just smiled at me. No questions asked. Anyone could've taken it. It was very disappointing and unfortunately we will not return, nor do we recommend.

Don’t do it!!! Rooms are VERY small even by Europe standards. Barely wide enough for a Queen size bed. I can’t see how more that 2 people would fit — even if the 3rd is a child. Location to sites and Metro was very poor. I didn’t do my due diligence. NO parking

A nice little hotel! Rooms are small, bathrooms tiny, but it was still good value. Clean and modern, and a nice little sitting area in the lobby. Easy walk to Notre Dame (15 mins), Jardin des Plantes (2 mins) Pantheon (under 10 mins) and more, and tons of restaurants, boulangeries and cafés within a couple minutes — walk up the hill to PlaceContrescarpe for endless options). We would stay here again!

This property met our needs. It was right next to the metro and had numerous boulangerie options nearby for breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the facility was well-maintained. I would have liked a little more space to store our clothes, and I would have liked a bathtub to soak in after a full day of sightseeing. That said, I would consider staying here again because of location, reasonable price, and neighborhood vibes.

We found the hotel to be conveniently located to the Metro, walking distance from the Pantheon, Notre Dame & alot of dining. Room was nice however the bed was not comfortable. Surprised to find no fridge in the room. The day staff was very helpful and friendly, the staff who worked nights were not. When we inquired about getting coffee & such fir our room the man who worked the night shift was very rude and said you only get one complimentary cup a of coffee on your first night only.

We selected executive room for a 4 nights stay. The room is much smaller than the photos shown on Expedia. The room light is dim. The window is non-usable, facing another wall of the building. Generally speaking , the atmosphere makes you don’t want to stay in the room longer. Although we booked the biggest size available , it’s crowded for 2 adults and a baby.
The cleaner is good but the services are terrible. The staff seems to enjoy giving “ lecture “ to their customers , which I don’t find it appropriate.

The hotel is clean and the location is good. There are plenty of restaurants to pick nearby and 100 M walking distance to the hotel.

The front desk people were not friendly at all when we checked in and three days after that. When we checked out at the fourth day there were very friendly hotel manager. We were informed that the people who were there the previous three days were temporary replacement. The hotel management should not let these people work there even as temporary replacement. They were not friendly at all.

The shower design is not user friendly. The shower will be the attachment wand to use.There is one window as a shower curtain and an open space of the bathtub so it takes a getting used to so you don’t spray water everywhere in the bathroom.
