Hotel Review: Basic Loft Lodging Outside Paris

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was exactly what we needed: a clean, no-frills place to sleep. The accommodations were simple but met our expectations, and the friendly staff at the front desk made the stay pleasant from the start.

BASIC Loft Lodging for two people, it could sleep three. There was a small bunk above the main bed, which would be ideal for a child or someone nimble. While the beds weren’t exceptionally plush, they were comfortable enough for a good night’s rest.

Bathroom:
The bathroom, like the room, was tiny but clean. I brought my own cleaning supplies to touch up, I was impressed with how well they maintained it. The water pressure was excellent, which is always a plus. However, I recommend bringing your own soap and shampoo, as the shower only had an all-in-one dispenser, and there was no lotion provided. The towels were quite thin, so if you prefer thicker ones, you might want to bring your own. We chose not to have the daily cleaning service as we're late sleepers and wanted privacy, but they were accommodating in providing fresh towels upon request.

Cleanliness:
Overall, the cleanliness was good throughout our stay. However, I woke up to long line of ants on the last night after I accidentally dropped a crumb, which was a bit of a downside.

Cons:
- No ice available on-site.
- You have to put down a deposit for an iron or blow dryer.
- There are no electrical outlet

I bought a package from Travelocity that included breakfast. As always in Paris there is a city tax that would of come to $11. And change however as soon as we walked in a rude guy at reception said it only includes breakfast for two and I had booked a room for 3 which I had paid for and even though I showed the guy our written package and no where did it state that it was breakfast for two he said I had to pay 55 euros not the city tax of 11. And change. I said I do agree the city tax as it was clearly stated when I bought the package he insisted that children over 12 had to pay for breakfast separately. This is a lie because when I called Travelocity and told them what had happened they said they would contact the hotel and get me reimbursed. After waiting for day and on my way home they finally answered and told me that the change was for the city tax! . Which was a lie and I should mentioned that this hotel targets Spanish speakers because at breakfast the next day I heard the same story except that one family of four were change for breakfast for all of them even though they bought the package that included breakfast and their children were under the so called age limit that the scammer had said my child was over of 12 yrs old! Please Travelocity do better! As for Ibis I will never booked any hotel from you. Freaking Scammers!

The hotel rooms are tiny but we could accommodate our family for a few days easily. The rooms were clean and cleaned every day.
Most of the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel location was OK. There are several metro stations nearby so transportation to any part of Paris was comfortable.

On arrival we were told our reservation was cancelled due to invalidity of my credit card (just nonsense!). It was shocking to hear this after a long car drive from Holland to Paris. They offered new bookings at a much higher rate. And, my credit card showed no problem at all paying the bill 😂🍷 Very basic, small rooms, no attractive window view, shower cabin not that clean, one of the beds broken, no extra blanket even after asking for ... VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
Positive points: safe parking lot (€12,- per night) and functioning airconditioning

The rooms are really really tiny. We spend most of out time outside during the day do we didn't not care much about the room, but if you are planing to spend some considerable time inside the room I would not recommend. Location was not bad 10 min walk from subway station. Location is safe and few good places to eat out.
Checkout is at 12:00 pm which is convenient, they also kept our luggage after we checkout without any additional cost. Lady at the recipient was helpful and friendly.

First and last time in Ibis budget !

Very bad tiny room; not even for 2 person, let alone 3 !!
They shouldn't provide like that small room to 3 person. The top bed was uncomfortable and very noisy and we couldn't move at all while other two sleep.
Location wasn't great.
Never go back again.

Staff were SO helpful and understanding, that really helped as weve never been to France before. They dont servce food after breakfast BUT have a really interesting amount of vending machines!! Dont expect tea and coffee facilities in your room as in UK BUT can buy at the vending machines (take Euros!). Small but adequate rooms however showers seem to leak on bathroom floors a lot (in both our rooms). Nightmare if you're driving in Paris but they do have a carpark hidden round the front and underground! Would use again (but also public transport!). As they don't do hot food they're kind enough to let you order pizza -and we were famished and needed something easy for the kids so late at night so were extremely glad! Quite far from the centre but price is good.

Budget hotel at a budget price

My room was pretty basic. Double bed, single bunk above. No cupboards or wardrobes. Only place for clothes was on the small shelf at the end of the bunk, with a couple of coathangers underneath. One power socket in the room. Window did not open, but air conditioner was very quiet and the room was at a comfortable temperature on the 35C day I arrived.

Bathroom was also very basic, with a tiny shelf next to the shower. The shower leaked onto the floor if you weren't very careful about closing the doors.

Breakfast was EUR6.15 for a buffet of rolls, croissants, cheese, basic cereal, jam, tea, coffee and juice. Not inspiring, but filling. There are also a couple of snack machines in the foyer.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Free WiFi worked fine in the room and around the hotel. The bus stop at the end of the street will take you to Gare d'Este and the Metro is a five minute walk away. If you're not planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel, then this is a good budget option.

La stanza non è stata preparata per tutti e 3 gli ospiti. Il terzo letto, montato a soppalco sul letto matrimoniale non è stato preparato. Il personale che chi ha accolto in reception, ci ha detto che non era prevista la preparazione del terzo letto in quanto si trattava di un BUDGET Ibis Hotel. Sono stati molto arroganti nella risposta e ci hanno detto che se volevamo la preparazione del letto avremmo dovuto pagare. Non solo, nei 3 giorni di soggiorno non lo hanno mai rifatto, né hanno mai cambiato le lenzuola. Il bagno cieco, minuscolo e senza ventilazione. La colazione, pubblicizzata come ottima, é in realtà povera e scadente: yogurt e macedonia immangiabili. Giusto due fette di prosciutto ed un pezzo di Brie come alternativa salata. Caffè e cappuccino scadenti. Il garage infine è un buco sotto terra, con ingresso molto stretto e parcheggi molto scomodi. All’arrivo mi hanno consegnato gli asciugamani per il terzo ospite, me li son dovuti portare in auto e scendere in garage e poi portarmi la biancheria in camera. Un posto davvero scadente per il prezzo pagato. Davvero pessimo!

O hotel é exatamente o que é retratado. A recepção é boa. Tem bebedouro a disposição dos hóspedes, seria interessante deixar garrafa no quarto para que os hóspedes pudessem pegar sua água. É claro que, se quebrar terá que pagar. Pois tive que comprar água mineral para fazer uso da garrafa plástica. Por isso, recomendo que leve sua garrafa térmica. Café da manhã simples em relação aos hotéis brasileiros, mas considerado pelos experientes muito bom.

Très bon accueil. Attention au parking qui est vraiment étroit. L'emplacement est bien car à proximité du metro et des trams.
Bemol niveau chambre, la chambre était bien reservée pour trois mais le lit du haut n'a pas pas été préparé. Il y avait également un chewing-gum collé au plafond.
Sinon les sanitaires étaient propres et le personnel sympathique.

Für den Preis ist das Hotel OK. Die Lage ist gut. Ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Metro-Station. Von dort aus kommt man überall sehr gut hin (auch direkt zum Bahnhof Paris EST).

hotel di 8 piani in periferia Parigina raggiungibile con la metro 7 scendendo alla fermata 'porte de choisy' o metro/tram 'porte d'italie' che propone camere piccole ma un design comunque moderno. comoda la reception aperta h24 e la possibilità di integrare la colazione nella sala adibita. purtroppo le camere non dispongono ne di phon per capelli che di un armadio in camera in cui riporre gli abiti. la zona in cui è situato questo hotel non è delle migliori, si percepisce da subito che non si è in zone centrale di Parigi.
Il tragitto tra metro e hotel (se fatto di sera) è meglio farlo in gruppo. Nella via parallela all'hotel vi sono dei locali in cui poter pranzare o cenare. vicino l'hotel vi è un grande centro commerciale. vi sono macchinette al piano 0 in cui poter prendere caffe o addirittura pasti confezionatida scaldare al microonde li vicino. se acquistato ad un buon prezzo è una valida

Sólo daban toallas de baño y la extra pedida se la llevaban a diario y no la reponían. Hay que mencionar qur el personal es muy atento

ao que se propõe o hotel está dentro da média.A estadia foi tranquila, sem nenhuma intercorrência.O quarto e o banheiro (muito pequeno) estavam limpos.Infelizmente o quarto não dispõe de um lugar para acomodar as roupas.Solicitei mais um travesseiro para o meu sobrinho(tem problemas na coluna) e a recepcionista disse que não havia mais travesseiros. Mais tarde solicitei para um outro atendente. Disse que providenciaria mas não o fez.
