Avoid this hotel!

Really dirty with used hygienic towels in one of the cabinet.
Room had not been cleaned before our arrival.
Leaking toilet flush.
Wastewater odours in all the rooms

Great family friendly hotel

We have 2 adults and 2 kids. The room has 3 twin beds upstairs and 1 big sofa beds downstairs. A small kitchen with everything. The room seems recently renovated. Everything brand new and clean. Convenient location, 5 mins walking to the Metro line 7 and a supermarket, also only $20 uber to Orly airport. Quiet neighborhood. Much better experience compared to similar priced hotel in US cities.

Our Europe Trip from Down Under

we were allocated a room upstairs, with no lifts it was a bit of a struggle with our luggage. The old warn off winding stair case doesn't help either.
Good location , close to train station and shops.
A bit pricy for the condition.

It was good stay but the apartment is too costly as compared to its location. I misunderstood the currency that is why booked, if I knew it already that the currency is Indian rupees I would not have been booked such a costly apartment in such a remote or suburb area.

Awful in every aspect! The room had broken AC units couldnt sleep or stay in the room cause of the heat and it had a clogged bath tub that flooded, it was also in a scary neighborhood.. I would never go back or recommend!

Terrible!!

Not a good neigborhood. Everything closes around this area early. I wanted water everythinting was closed and the apartment said no water. I asked for towels no towels. The room was filthy and the window would not close. Leak in the bathroom that would flow to the bottom floor. NO WIFI like they advertised! Extremely bad experience overall. Let me also mention that the Hotel Front Desk person was also very rude.

We were 4 adults and one child 20 minutes from the centre of Paris and 30 minutes from Disneyland ideal for short stay with WiFi which was free . couldn't complain at all .

It was okay-ish. Wifi was decent. No elevator for 1st & 2nd floor .. a lot of steps. Hard to carry the luggage up and down. Not suitable for elder people or people with kids. Stairs are narrow. Train station is a few blocks away and the area was type sketchy to me. It was quiet but something about it felt weird. Didn't like that they had separate beds. Hello some people are married and would like to sleep together lol. On the bright side there is a parking lot but idk if you had to pay extra for that.

Nice and secure location closed to metro

We are family of three stayed for 3 weeks in this hotel appartment . Overall, we are very pleased with this place: good location access to metro ( very important in Paris), bakery, supermarket and very safe place (gate closed at night using code to enter).
We would highly recommend this hotel appartment.

We came as a family of 5 adults and had duplex apartment. Our flight arrived late at night and they were very accommodating to let us in. When we apo end the door of the apparment, it smelled as a cigarette smoke, but over all looked little out dated,but nice enough. Beds were very comfortabLe, bathroom was clean with many towels. Over all we were very happy with t location- 5\"minutes walking to subway, pastry shop and market. WifI was for free,we just had to ask for user name and password.After a future refurbishment, the hotel would be perfect for family to visit Paris.

Don't expect privacy

The location was conveniently located near the Leo Lagrange metro stop in Villejuif. This is the only good thing to say about the place. The only other thing I will say is BEWARE of random intrusions while you are out seeing the sights.

Good option for a large group in Paris

We chose this hotel because of the space in each room. That was about the only thing these rooms had. The Wi-Fi went out after the first day and didn't come back on the next three days, the neighborhood is dreary (not even close to picturesque Paris), the shower head was broken and sprayed the entire bathroom when turned on, the beds were rock solid and all twin size (bring your own pillow), and the restaurant pictured on Expedia doesn't exist. The positives are this hotel is a five minute walk to the metro, the balcony was a peaceful retreat, the neighborhood is quiet, and the staff (though not fluent in English) were helpful.

Customer service needs attention!

We arrived at the hotel about midday. Couldn't check in until 3.00pm. Had 3 children, 4 suitcases and hand luggage. Reception was terrible. The man was abrupt when he spoke and seemed to like silence. One word answers not helpful. No advice re the local area and where to shop, catch the train etc. We left the bags and then went back at 3.00pm and the service was No better. Our family had been given a wonderful room - that was on the top floor, up a large number of stairs and finally a spiral staircase. Not ideal when you have a 6 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old and all the bags etc. No help offered by the man on the desk. Just - your room is number 9, its up those stairs, through the doors and up the stairs again. I have to give credit where its due though - what a great room - well it was an apartment with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet upstairs and living area and kitchen area with TV down stairs. Shower was a bit dodgy and you had to hold it as the bracket was broken, but other than that, great and spacious. Very close we found out eventually to a good supermarket and the Metro. I would recommend it if you have older children and dont need any information!

This is our second time staying at La Ferme Des Barmonts, and we liked it less this time. It is nice that it has separate bedrooms from the living space, and the kitchenette is helpful for a young family, but the space seemed... sticky. The floors, the banister, the dishes - they all felt like they needed a good scrub. The bedspreads on all the beds had many stains on them. There was no air conditioning, which was okay our first time staying there (in May), but not okay in August. The shower couldn't be turned on very hard or the shower head would fly backwards and spray all over the wall. There is no elevator, so that is not great for a family with three small children and lots of luggage. Breakfast is available at the hotel, but only if you book it the night before - something we didn't know till the morning, when we were hoping for breakfast. The staff seemed pleasant enough and agreed to give us a late check-out (noon instead of 11 am) and also booked a taxi for us to pick us up at noon, but then they called our room at 11 am, telling us that our taxi was waiting. This was probably a language misunderstanding, but I repeated the request twice (for both the late check-out and the taxi), and the manager repeated it back to me, so it was frustrating to have them call our room an hour before we had agreed upon. We travel to Paris every few months, so I wish that this hotel was a little nicer, but after this experience, I think we'll try somewhere else next time.

Quick overnight

We only had a very quick overnight in Paris before flying out early the next morning. This hotel worked out great for our family of five (three little ones). We especially appreciated having two bedrooms plus the living area, and the kitchenette made a quick dinner prep easy before tucking the kids in. We didn't get to explore the neighborhood, but we anticipate staying at this hotel again another time when we're in Paris.

The hotel was great for our brief stay in Paris! It was me and 5 other university students and the hotel provided a nice place to sleep at a reasonable price. The hotel staff was extremely nice and warm. Much nicer and better than a hostel! A little far from Paris city centre and the Eiffel tower, but within walking distance to the metro. Overall a great experience!

Perfect for our needs

Perfect for our needs, it was just an overnight stay whilst travelling to see family in England. We walked down to the metro, very handy to get to the louvre without changing. The neighbourhood was fine, no problems. Underground carpark was very secure and reassuring, apartment was fab, staff were pleasant and helpful, we didn't eat there. overall definitely recommended.

Room smelly and dirty, my 4 year old son found an old chewing gum stuck to a wall and had it all over his hands!, toilet cistern leaked, bath waste pipe was blocked and did not drain properly.
think Expedia should refund the moneys i paid for this hotel and take it completely off their list!

Great security and proximity to Paris metro

Great location for traveling to all metro stops impairs without having to deal with any traffic. Helpful front desk personnel and great parking right below hotel. Wifi did not work in the room - had to stand by the window. Secure property, very clean and spacious studio apartment (a plus for Paris hotels) and very reasonable rate.

Terrible hotel in a terrible neighbourhood

I have not had such a horrible experience of a hotel service in the past. First of all the rooms were completely different from what was shown in the picture on the internet. They were tiny, dirty and the neighbourhood was fishy. There was no room service, the internet disconnects every two minutes. On top of that the managers accuse you after you leave the hotel saying that some of the stuff in the hotel like cups and plates are missing. That was the most ridiculous thing I have heard. If I am travelling half the world to see Paris why would I steal cups and plates. They wanna make more money by accusing customers and charging them money.

We were traveling with kids and were given an apartment room on a second floor with scary/hazardous stairs [i guess if u are from there u used to]. the apt was not that clean, dusty. We were a group of 8 [5 adults and 3 kids] and instead of booking two rooms, we could have just be accommodated all in one -but that was not clear on the page, so my suggestion is that if u travel with a big group, u call the hotel directly too and check that with them. It was not that easy to cancel on the spot, the receptionist made it like a favor, but we still had to pay one night and we could stay all together in one apt [we booked two apt originally] I had to do laundry and asked about it. in the morning, i was told i could do it anytime - then when i went in the late afternoon, i was told no laundry at that time. I had to insist and let the receptionist know i was leaving the day after, and he let me do it. Internet was supposed to be available, but never worked.

Economical studio in Paris

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The hotel is really a combination of studios and apartments in a very quiet neighborhood 2 metro stops outside the city limit (the peripherique road). We were just 3 minutes from the Leo Lagrange metro stop on line 7 and had a bakery, pizza place, gyros café, and supermarket within 200 yards. The hotel was secure with a locked from gate and 24-hour desk attendant so we felt very safe. We had all the necessary kitchen supplies and the refrigerator allowed us to eat in the room and skip the 8 Euro per person breakfast. Every room had a small but covered picnic table outside, and the kitchen table was good for 4 people. Beds were firm and comfortable, but a \"double\" room was two twins that we had to push together, a common experience in Europe. Bathroom had a big tub, good water pressure, and a hair dryer, but no electrical outlets at all, so curling hair was in the bedroom area that had a mirror. We did not get room service which did not really bother us; we did not ask about it. We had free internet with reasonable speed, and they called a taxi for us when we left. First metro in the morning is at 0530, so it would be at least 0700 before reaching Charles de Gaulle airport. The taxi was 35 minutes and 80 Euros.

Can't believe anyone would recommend this hotel it was dirty, smelly, overpriced, located in an area surrounded by rough looking youths metro was about 400 yards but to get to it you had to go through an area you would only describe as rough. Gates locked at 7.00, wonder why. Staff tried to be helpful, moved rooms but very little difference, needless to say I won't be going back with the family. Spoilt a lovely holiday, but Paris itself is well worth a visit.

GOOD-We were a family of 5 and were given 2 rooms - we had plenty of space, beds & utensils. Coffee maker, toaster and kettle all new. TV in both rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, and wifi was offered at a reasonable price. There was a safe for valuables and we could leave our bags on the last day after we had checked out to collect later. Check out was 11am so plenty of time to have breakfast and pack.Hotel was about 10 stops or so from central Paris on the metro. Good supermarket outside metro, but bakery was closed as we were there in August.
BAD-Fairly noisy outside hotel as there was a lot of local traffic - everyone seemed to be up late and out on the streets as it was so hot(over 40 on our first day and in the 30s for the rest of the week, with rain on going home day). Made it difficult to sleep as we found it too noisy with windows open and too hot with windows closed, but we all got by with extra coffee and croissants!
GENERAL VIEW-This was a lovely holiday with the family. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but it offers excellent value for money, and was clean and comfortable. The hotel call the rooms apartments - we tended to do our own washing up and sweeping up so don't know whether or not cleaning is done daily. Towels were changed every couple of days which was enough as plenty of towels are provided. We tended to be in Paris mid-morning till pretty late so weren't in the rooms during the day. Used them really as bed and (our own) breakfast.

Apart from the proximity to central Paris there was little going for this hotel. The rooms have not been decorated since the 1980s. We stayed in the 'large' duplex apartment which had little in the way of ventilation and very hot rooms. The kitchen door was broken and there were a number of lights which didn't work. The area it is located in is also very grim with no shops open before 8:30. We did find a good patisserie, but having walked almost a mile to get to it was almost in central Paris.

The parking was a nightmare with a very steep ramp and an awkward bend - prepare to scratch your car.

Very, very poor hotel and there is no way this is 3 stars. We will not be returning. Ever...!

But thank god for Paris!

Lived in this so-called three star hotel with my family for 2 nights in the middle of July. Sadly didnt think about the Air Conditioning as much of an issue before hand. Got there and was told that we are giving you our best apartment.. it was on the top floor with a small staircase going up. Very arduous it was! The rooms were baking hot with very little air circulation going about. No ceiling fan, no AC's and the alarms went berserk in the middle of the night.. Nearly destroyed my whole Paris experience.

Stay away! Especially if you plan a summer trip.

Overall, it met the needs of five persons and it was clean. The night staff was not helpful. Could not even tell us how to drop the futon. In 4 days only 1 change of towels and no room service.It was also a long metro ride each day( 30 min.) into the city.wWe spent over $90 in metro to and from in 5 days.

It is a long journey to the city center if you are in Paris for sightseeing it is better that you do not spend 45 min in the subway. the corridor was smelly and the room gave the sense of being dirty. internet was miserable and the bedroom was on the second floor where the living room was in the first floor, I was traveling with my parents who are old and for them taking these steps were annoying. i will never stay there again

The hotel is close to the metro station and the grocery store. The hotel isn't close to touristy spots though. Room was warm but we opened the patio door at night. The kitchen is a plus (microwave, fridge, 2 burner stove). The door keys aren't very good. You have to hold the handle a certain way to lock the door, then check it a few times to make sure it locked. Key cards would be better.

Just like somebody's review, the hotel was close to the metro station and the market. From CDG airport, only 1 transfer to the hotel and metro system were very convenience. Hotel staff who we met first day was a very nice young gentleman. Room was very warm but some stuffs were broken. Not many amenities, so you should bring tissue paper. Room size was okay, but we got 2 single beds and a futon for three of us. We loved the hotel location. Market closes at 10 pm but pizza shop closes at 11 pm, so we got the pizza !

Our rooms worked very well for our family of 6...with the kitchenette making a less expensive breakfast of pan au chocolate from the bakery down the street and beverages from the grocery store a block away possible. The metro ride into the center took about 20 minutes. Hotel was very nice and delivered as promised.

Thought I'd get better in Paris suburbs

Good points- clean, near metro can actually fit people. Not so good- reserved 3bedroom apt, but, got a 1 bedroom with 2 beds in hallway and double fouton in living area. I was hoping for better especially since we went with a further away location in the hopes of a bigger space.

The hotel is very charming. I liked the fact that the gates at the front close at night and you need a code to get in. For the five of us, being all adults, the room was a little too small, so, we ended up getting another room. Close to the Metro, which was great for our tour of Paris. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Overall the hotel was a pretty pleasant. The staff was not all fluent in English, but we were able to communicate with little effort. The stairway in the room was also very loud and narrow, which made climbing up and down a bit annoying, espicially at night. Other than that, the room had most everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also convenient, about a 5 minute walk to a metro station.

NOISE-NOISE-NOISE. If you want to ruin your vacation in Paris then you have the perfect \"hotel\" to stay. First of all it doesn't look like any hotel I had ever seen. I don't know where to begin with. Our tiny room was located on the ground floor and the whole night we could hear furnitures are being dragged on the top floor and since floors are not covered you can hear all the noises that come from the top and neighboring floors. The room was not large enough for two but somehow they manged to place two beds and in fact we had to rearrange the \"furniture\" in the room in order to be able to move around. The first day garbage of previous tenant was still in the room stinking and although I mentioned it to the hotel staff they did not care and I had to clean up the mess. It was 3 nights of torture and noise and we could not wait to change our hotel. People you have been wanred. don't let the nice online purple pictures of this so called hotel fool you. It is not like anything you have ever seen

We were pleasantly surprised by this somewhat out of the way apartment complex. Coming from Charles de Gaulle airport it is only one transfer at Chatelet to the Abroise Croizat (Leo LaGrange stop) in Villejouf. Once there it is approximately a 5 block walk to the complex. It is recommended that you buy a pass for the Metro system while you are there. You can reach most desired tourist sites via the system and it will save greatly on transportation. The complex is gated and the staff speaks English and is very accommodating. The apartments are well appointed and clean. Ours was what we would call and efficiency apartment or condo and had everything to make our own breakfast each morning. Grocery stores are well within walking distance and much recommended. Parking was conveniently available inside the complex. At the time we visited, there was much construction in the area and it appeared that the complex was being expanded to a full hotel. A breakfast was available at 8 euro per person and by reservation but making our own was fun. Internet is available but signal was extremely limited to close to the front office (we were two apartments away and the signal faded in and out) and based on an extremely reasonable hourly rate. Overall, you will not go wrong if you select this hotel.

Good value for money, fantastic location with good access to the Metro. Secure underground parking at reasonable rates. Recently refurbished rooms with crisp clean linen. This was our second visit and we'll be back.

La Ferme Des Barmonts - Convinient access

It was very easy to reach hotel. It is just a 5 minute walk from the Leo Lagrange metro station on line 7. There is a super market close by about 4 mins walk on the way to the metro.

Before going I had reviews that the reception was had an out dated and old decor, but I found that all that has changed. It has received a new paint job and looks like new.

We got wireless internet at the hotel all though the reception was poor in our apartment upstairs on the second floor. The best place for a good signal was the reception/lounge on the ground floor.

There are no lifts and the stairs to the room are very narrow and it was difficult going up with the luggage.

Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Friendly, English-speaking staff. Very large room, 4 beds, but small singles, with loft, full kitchen and dish / cookware, well designed and equipped, but TV (nice selection of channels) was in main area and not bedroom. Bathroom was in poor condition, with broken / loose towel holder and tiles on tub mismatched and sloppy looking. During the 3 day stay, maid service consisted only of replacing towels and no bedsheets changes or cleaning, etc., which is unacceptable. No soundproofing - room was noisy. Breakfast not included, which is shameful given the 3-figure per night price of the room! Neighborhood a bit seedy, but never felt unsafe, and they lock the gate at night. This would be an ideal place to stay if you have company as the space is so large and would make entertaining pleasant and has a nice upscale look to it.

Pour commencer, j'ai réservé une chambre pour 4 personnes (1 lit double + 1 canapé lit double), je n'ai eu qu'un canapé lit une place au lieu du 2 places. J'étais seule avec ma fille, mais, on voulait chacune bien dormir, c'est pourquoi j'ai payé pour cette configuration (que je n'ai pas eu du coup). Ensuite, il n'y a personne à la réception, il faut appeler et attendre (15 mn pour moi), alors que j'aime arriver dans un hôtel à n'importe quelle heure, et faire le ,check-in rapidos. De plus, le portail d'entrée ne fonctionne pas, vous êtes au beau milieu de la rue à gêner tout le monde, à essayer de rentrer dans la cours avec votre voiture. J'ai également opté pour cet établissement, car, situé en périphérie de Paris. comme, j'ai des mauvais souvenirs de nuits blanches passées dans des hôtels au centre de Paris du au bruit (j'habite en pleine campagne), ceci explique mon choix, pour ce \"havre de paix\" niché au milieu de villejuif. Sauf que, ma chambre donnant sur la rue, quelle ne fut ma surprise en me couchant d'entendre toutes ces voitures passer, et ce, toute la nuit, plus les cris, les rires, les gens qui restent devant votre fenêtre à nicasser (et oui, on est au rez de chaussée, niveau route). Donc, nuit presque blanche, car, réveillée toues les 5 mn! Horrible! Première et dernière fois sans cet endroit! Dommage, car les intérieurs sont pas mal, la cours intérieure ressemble à un petit camp de vacances, mais, tout est gâché par les évènements relatés plus haut.

Está muy bien equipado con cosas para la cocina, la limpieza es excelente y el personal es muy amable. Tiene espacio suficiente para que acomodes tus cosas en estancias largas y es muy agradable pasar un rato en la terraza, todo muy tranquilo.
Tiene una estación del metro cerca y un gran supermercado.
Sin duda volvería a hospedarme ahí.

séjour qui s'est globalement bien passé. Bon accueil. chambre un peu vieillotte mais propre, d'autres ont déjà été rénovées, les suivantes suivront. Tout le matériel de cuisine est présent. Petit déjeuner simple mais qui fait parfaitement l'affaire lorsqu'on ne veut pas s'embêter. bon point pour les oranges fraîches, le pain à disposition serait un plus. Attention à donner de bonnes informations ou a emmètre au moins un doute quant aux transports durant les grèves. j'avais téléphoné deux jours avant mon arrivée pour allonger mon temps d'annulation de séjour, le temps pour moi de trouver un autre transport que le train / metro. On m'a certifié un peu maladroitement qu'il n'y avait aucunement lieu de s'inquiéter. Heureusement pour moi que je n'ai pas écouter ces conseils car je ne serais jamais arrivée à bon port et n'aurais plus eu recours à l'annulation gratuite. Je me laisse à croire que cela partait d'une bonne intention et avait été mal formulée.
Ceci dit, cela reste une bonne expérience avec un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Je conseille cet hotel pour sa simplicité et son efficacité.

Kelpo hotelli Orlyn lähellä

Yövyin hotellissa lapseni kanssa 11.-15.7.2019. Hotelli sijaitsee hyvien kulkuyhteyksien päässä Orlyn lentokentältä. Raitiovaunu T7:lla ja metrolinjalla 7 pääsee muutaman sadan metrin päähän hotellista. Huone oli tasoltaan melko vaatimaton, mutta siisti. Kaksi erillistä sänkyä, keittiö varusteineen ja WC; todennäköisesti huone oli melko vasta remontoitu ainakin osittain. Hotellin tilojen kunto vaihteli: esim. vastaanotto oli melko vaatimaton, mutta WC:t vaikuttivat vasta remontoiduilta. Piha-alue oli viihtyisä omalla karulla tavallaan. Ongelmia tuli alussa, koska hotelli (vai Hotels?) oli yrittänyt varmistaa luottokorttiani ehkä 24h ennen saapumista. Internet-käytön eston takia tämä ei onnistunut ja menetin ensimmäisen varaamani yön. Eivät olisi siis laskuttaneet mitään, mutta koska Hotels.com ei informoinut kortin tarkistuksesta, olin varovaisena ihmisenä estänyt sen käytön. Asiaa pahoiteltiin kun kirjauduin ulos. Sain myös puhelinyhteyden hotelliin (vai Hotelsiin?) ongelman ilmettyä lentokentällä pankin lähettämän tekstiviestin muodossa. Englannin kielen taito vaihteli respassa sen mukaan, kuka oli töissä. Yksi henkilö ei puhunut lainkaan englantia. Menisin kaikesta huolimatta uudestaan hotelliin, koska sen hinta-laatu-suhde vastasi odotuksiani ja sijainti oli kätevä. Villejuif ei alueena ollut loistokas, mutta toisaalta emme liikkuneet illalla, eikä päivällä ollut häiriökäyttäytymistä tms.
