The property is well kept, clean, safe, and the breakfast is excellent. The vache noire mall is right next door and has plenty of choices for food and shopping. The parking garage is large and easily accessible.

Being outside is city center is worth it to not have all the noise, pickpockets, and questionable hotels.

This is a great choice and worth every penny.

The hotel was ok. We were on a family holiday with younger children but we were put on different floors. Then we were not able to go up or down to other floors due to ‘hotel policy’ . Someone got stuck in the lift and then we only had one lift for the rest of the stay.

I would definitely stay again! I just recommended this location to a friend that will be visiting soon. The breakfast was great! The staff was friendly and helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! It was only a 10 min walk to the main transport station. The bus stops were also right in front. The mall across the street was a nice feature. We walked the area several restaurant options to enjoy. It was easy to get to all the major attractions.

The housekeeping staff didn’t clean my or my father-in-law‘s room. It really put us off. We have no clean towels and they didn’t replace the coffee service on any of the four night stay.

It was a nice place if you discount a bit out of the way. metro about 7-10 min walking; bus stop around the corner but both metro and buses are complex and there is no translation. Breakfast and service was good, clean, safe.

The hotel is about 1/3-1/2 mile from the RER B train station. This is the line that goes into Paris and ends at Charles de Gaulle Airport. It takes about 50 minutes to the airport, about 20 to Saint Michel/Notre Dame. The staff was friendly. We really appreciated that they let us in the room early. My daughter was sick after a 12 hour flight. The room was hot even though it was March. Over 80 degrees. The staff said it was because the AC doesn't kick in until April. We had the window open whenever we were in the room but it didn't help a lot.

The hotel was exactly what we expected from a Marriott. The staff was friendly, it was fully booked while we were there due to the world cup being in town, so there was a wait when it came to check in. One item of note is the hotel is not located near the major tourist attractions, however we used Uber and that worked out fine. There is a shopping mall and a few nice restaurants across the street that were very convenient. The room was clean, air conditioned, the beds were comfortable and the balcony was large.

We chose this property for the price. That means we were quite a ways from the Paris (tourist) action. We thought we could use the bus system to get to and fro but found it to be complicated. One of the hotel staff shared with us the ease of using the train...which was only a two block walk from the hotel! This was a game changer for us! It was easy to use, took us more places than we knew we wanted to go, and was so affordable. It was nice to step out of the world of being a tourist at the end of the day, riding the train with locals, and walking to our hotel in a neighborhood with family owned restaurants and stores.

Hotel location and hardware overall is good. Unfortunately - we purchased quite a bit cosmetic from local pharmacy and stored the purchase in our room. It appears, several items were missing - those, which we purchased in multiple quantity. So, whoever had access to our room did not take the entire purchase, but picked quite some amount of cosmetics... it's ashamed...

Small, dated and uncomfortable room. No a/c, and on a very busy road (a bus route) so you can't leave the windows open. Tiny bathroom, shower only. Not enough power sockets, TV mounted so high up the wall that it's actually painful to view. WiFi signal in the room too weak to be of any use, no tea/coffee facilities.

On the plus side, the staff are excellent, the location is good for the station and shopping areas. The breakfast is nice and varied.

Underground parking at €16 is about the same as any other car park in Central Leuven.

We arrived with ease from the airport in a taxi. The hotel was really easy and convenient from the RER B, just a few blocks away. We took the RER everywhere! It was out of the hustle of Paris, which we enjoyed having the ability to go to the market where we purchased fresh fruit and cookies (aka biscuits) and a pharmacy, Starbucks, and McDonalds at the mall across the street. Mohammad checked us in, and was very warm and welcoming everytime we returned to the hotel from our days adventure. We had three hotel rooms for our family of six, and the cost was worth every penny. We didn’t eat at the cafe that was part of the hotel...we saw many other travelers enjoying it. The food smelled amazing from the lobby, so I would guess it was good! Great staff, clean and modern hotel...nice place to stay!

Great hotel at the edge of Paris. Came on business 2 years ago, returned with wife for pleasure. It was about a 5 minute walk from the RER B station. There was also a bus if you didn't want to walk. Right next to a mall with many eating options. Groceries nearby- franprix and monoprix. Hippopotamus restaurant across street was excellent. Excellent value for breakfast at hotel. Had American food, also had pastries, lunch meats, cheeses, made to order omletes/eggs (must ask). Wi-fii was really fast. Room clean. Staff friendly.

We felt the hotel delivered all it offered. The staff were welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable about transport links, etc. The room was spacious, well maintained, and had all the things you might need in a hotel room. Breakfast was good everyday, and we were left to our own devices, yet there were always staff close by to help with any needs you might have. Close by, yet not hovering.

When we arrived I was shocked. Nothing at all look like what was discribed by Expedia. Old and rundown hotel. The hallways smelled really bad, plus Expedia is false advertising on line, Expedia was advertising free internet but we end up paying €9 per day for Internet and this hotel wasn't close to metro you had to take a bus to get to metro, as Expedia addvestising. I would never book with Expedia again they mislead you and their addvestising is false.

The hotel staff was outstanding, very helpful, pleasant and everyone spoke english which was definitely a benefit given I don't speak any french. The breakfast was delicious, many options including assortment of fruit, breads, cereal and hot items. My only complaint would be the neighborhood and I didn't realize how far we were from central Paris. Ended up taking taxi (20-25 euros) at night instead metro because the neighbor was a little sketchy (would not recommend walking alone). Otherwise, a very nice hotel with great staff.

A nice hotel in a quite neighborhood near Paris.

I had a meeting near Paris and I needed a place to stay on each end of meeting. I choose this place because it looked nice and was near the RER. The nieghboorhood is nice and quite. There isn't a lot to do right around the hotel but it is very easy to get to Paris and the airport since it is very near the Laplace RER station. The room was great and the staff were extremely friendly. There are several pastry shops near the hotel and they all had great pastries that were quite inexpensive. I would recommend one of them instead of going for a large traditional American breakfast.

Hotel was a ways from the center of Paris but was close to bus and train for convenient connections to any where you want to go. One big advantage is air conditioning which many Paris hotels do not have. This made our stay very comfortable. When we wanted to extend our stay, we searched for a less expensive option but found that for the money this was hard to beat.

The Hotel was in a good location not to far from the train that took you right in to Paris. It is in zone 2 of the train passes so it was a little more expensive to travel by train. The surrounding area was built up but only had a couple restaurants. It did have a mall which was nice just to get some quick food. The hotel staff was excellent and the hotel restaurant also had very good food.

Not really treated with respect. Most staff seemed rude and when we wanted wifi in the room we were told 'not on your rate', we have stayed in other courtyards by Marriott and were not treated like this. We also paid €18 for a buffet breakfast which was cold and they ran out of most things. Room and lobby clean though.

The French are horrible at customer service!

They pretend not to understand English. This hotel is far from Paris and the housekeeper walked in at 8 AM the day of our check-out. We were still sleeping. It was ridiculous. This hotel is horrible. Nothing special about it. It was a 20 minute taxi from ORLY and a 45 minute train ride to CDG. We'll never stay here again.

Great hotel for the value!

Excellent choice!. Located right across a shopping center and convenient access to just about anything you may need during your stay in Paris. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Everybody was super friendly and helpful.

We just had a little bit of trouble locating the parking area in front of the hotel below the shopping center. It is not the hotel's parking but you can conveniently park your park there overnight at a fee. We were supposed to park in level -2, it was hard to find since the parking signs are not easy to follow once inside. It turns out that -2 was the second level down that you are supposed to go to right before entering level -1, making a hard right turn on an entrance that you can barely recognize. The entrance is very narrow, just be carefull. The experience was unique and fun. We liked it! The next day we parked on the street and left the car there overnight without a problem (it was just hard to find parking).

Great Hotel in bad location

Our hotel room was great, very comfortable beds, good sized bathroom and TV (although most stations are in french, obviously). We were about a 7 minute walk from the train station (make sure you exit through the front of the train station, we exited through the back when we first got there and it was a horrible 25 minute walk to the hotel). The area however is not a good area. It was quite seedy and not very \"parisian\". There were no surrounding cafes or good restaurants, which I did not like at all and it was not pretty at all. The internet access charge is insanely expensive and what really bothered me was the fact you had to pay to use the public computers in the lobby which most hotels don't charge for. However, the front desk staff were very accomodating, spoke excellent english and were very friendly. If this hotel were in a different part of town, It would have been a much more pleasant experience. However the surrounding area definitely ruined our stay there.

This hotel was great. The rooms were very very comfortable, clean, and modern. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location is not bad, its a short walk to the metro, and there is a modern shopping mall directly across the street. The neighbourhood was a little iffy, walking late at night in this area was a little uncomfortable but we didn't encounter any problems. This hotel is highly recommended, and we would stay there again if we were to return to Paris!

First visit to Paris

This was our first stay in Paris and so naturally the first place I looked for a hotel was near the Champs Elysee - far too expensive. We found this hotel and decided to put up with the short travel time into Paris.

When we arrived at the hotel we were delighted. The hotel is very clean and our room had everything we needed. All the room facilities, eg iron, kettle etc were all brand new. We had dealings with three members or staff who were all brilliant and spoke excellent English (which certainly helps).

The hotel is 5-10 minute walk to the Laplace RER station, which is a 10 minute ride into central Paris. We found it very easy travelling to and from the hotel.

The hotel is opposite a brand new shopping centre which we went for a look around on more than one occasion - don't be worried though, the shopping centre is certainly not to the areas detriment in terms of noise, the hotel was still quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably return next time we come to Paris.

Was in for New Year's Eve, left the following day. Room was booked at the last minute. I usually travel in hostels, but I have also been at some amazing hotels.

Staff gave a very pleasant, both for check-in and check out. Rooms were clean and in order, beds was very comfortable. The price, especially considering the time of year, was very reasonable.

Cons: internet was expensive. The hotel is close to a RER B Station and a walk away from Port D'Orleans (where I had my business for this trip), but you are out of the City. The location would be a hassle for most people looking to sightsee Paris, I think.

We stayed at the Courtyard Paris Arcueil at the end of September 2011. It was for our 1st anniversary, we were on a budget adn saw the marriott sign and the price and looked further. There are some bad reviews on here, but with manager comments straight after. I think these were just teething problems and no major problems. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The area is an 'up and coming' area, there is a new metro line being built, more hotels etc being built.

For convenience: - this hotel is good. It is a short 5 minute walk to the metro station and then its a straight line right through to the centre of Paris (RER B). The ride in is only 10 minutes maybe? and trains come every 5-10 minutes.

Breakfast: - there is a range, from cereal to bread rolls. The hot food, bacon etc, it very oily and personally i didnt enjoy it, but the rolls and coissants were great.
The food was filled up as and when it ran out which was great, they have some very hard working staff to make your experience a pleasurable one.

Overall i would definetly come back to this hotel if i come back to Paris. The manager helped us out greatly on the last day with a mix up and to him I am personally grateful as it would have been a mess trying to sort out the problem from home.

outside of paris in zone 2 so you have to buy more expensive metro/RER tickets.

hotel is new as or Feb 2011 so really more comfort for the price then another hotel closer to the center of Paris. RER station is not as close as you might want but was ok 5-10 min walk with luggage. RER station has elevator to help you manage.

internet is pay per use plans. Supermarche is located in the big mall across the road in case you want some basics like fruit, water or whatever.

only complaint was that checkout was slow because only one person was manning the front desk at 1pm in the afternoon. after about 20mins, someone did eventually come out from the back office.

odd thing is the deposit of $500 Euros they charge at check in converted to your home currency. Worked out ok for me since the charge and subsequent refund were for identical amounts but still seems a bit funny why they have to put an actual charge through instead of keeping the card number on file like most hotels.
