You have no control of the A/C. It stays at 23C (74F) and the windows are not openable. As someone who gets hot easily, this was very annoying especially since there was cooler weather outside. There were also some mosquitoes in the room which I am unsure where they came from. Had a couple of nights waking up being bit

I was very happy with our stay at the Paris Ibis budget Porte D'Orleans. The room was small, the toilet was literally in a closet and the shower was small, but it was perfect for our stay.
We were in Paris to experience the sites and the culture, not stay in our hotel room all day.

It was quiet, well located (a quick walk to the Porte d'Orleans train station with a gas station across the street for late night snacks.

The lobby had a cool vibe with some snack machines, some chairs and tables, but we didn't really take advantage of those.

The bed was a bit old, but comfortable enough. We didn't notice any noise from other guests or street noise and we had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room.

I would definitely stay again.

A bit out of the way, but close enough to the RER and metro. Directly above the highway, but the rooms have excellent sound proofing. Loads of grocery & small vendors + restaurants on the other side of the highway (10 min walk for an average person).
Otherwise, your typical budget hotel in Europe. Staff were friendly and usually at the desk.
Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is great for the price. Although is in front of a busy street, we couldn't hear the noise. The breakfast is very good and much affordable than eating in a restaurant. The staff was very helpful when we couldn't open our room with the designated key, they immediately provided an alternative one. We will stay here, again. Many thanks.

I had a great night and the location was perfect for public. However, I was robbed of my breakfast fees by the hotel. When I checked in with my two kids, the receptionist asked me if I wanted breakfast which I accepted. I paid the fees but was unable to be at the restaurant prior to closing time. As you all might know, travelling with teenagers is always a challenge to keep time. So, we missed our breakfast. The hotel refused to refund my money stating that it was their fault. Agreed. But why should we pay for a service that we did not receive. At least if we were warned when the service was offered. I feel like this is just a money grabbing strategy. Disgusted.

They didn’t have the breakfast we paid for on their sheet for one of our 5 rooms and the attendant in the breakfast room fussed on my friend and said you can’t eat you didn’t pay. They had to walk to get breakfast elsewhere after paying. The night front desk was the rudest person I have ever met in my 50 years of working. I stopped in after a long day and wanted to make sure they had cleared up the mess about breakfast, I told the night desk person what had happened and he looked at me and said AND, as If he could care less!!!’ He went back over to his computer and said my colleague will have to wait on you. I watched him and he said something in French which was probably an ugly remark about me.

You almost get your money’s worth

This is pretty much what you expect for your money. Nothing fancy. The location is pretty good, close to public transportation.
The room is small and the shower had a funny smell.
There’s no hair dryer in the room and they only gave us 2 towels, so my husband went to the front desk to ask for them and the staff was really rude and not helpful at all, they said they didn’t have any more towels and that there were no hair dryers.

The breakfast is not included and you can eat much better outside for what you pay. There is not much variety.

Rooms are small but suffice for a one night stay. There was always one staff available that spoke english. I did not have breakfast. Bring your own hand soap for sink. There was shower gel /shampoo in shower stall. Clean, quite and black out shades. Plus a veiw of Eiffel tower at night...

I liked the place, cleanliness, morning staff.
But I didn’t like the night shift staff who was really not professional and he should not be there as we were checking in he was asking as I don’t car about Expedia and I need invoice from hotel and he said to no discussion if no payment no room while I showed him my bank statement he denied and asked me to pay again if not there is no room for us, so now I have twice one to Expedia and one to the hotel.

Good for a cheap but comfortable room

Perfectly good hotel - rooms are small and have few amenities, but if you just need a room for the night you can't go wrong. Room was comfortable and clean, had wifi although it was a little slow. If you're planning on spending a lot of downtime in your hotel room this is maybe one to avoid (small rooms, wifi slow, few amenities, no kettle for tea/coffee etc.), but its great if all you need is just a cheap but clean and comfortable room for the night.

The word budget is in the name of the place, so you get what you pay for. Yes, the rooms are extremely small and the shower is not private, but if you're staying with people you are comfortable with and it's only for a night or two, it's not a bad deal.

Staff were friendly. But I booked for 3 adults and everyday I had to ask for extra towers and they NEVER did the extra bed. I was 4 nights there and except the first night all the others 3 they never did my bed. The price is good, really near to restaurants and metro.

The hotel and staff was nice. Room clean and beds comfortable. But its November and air conditioning couldn't help the heat.. The window wasn't opening. After taking shower we were all sweaty because it was too hot in the room. The cause is poor airing of the shower.

Bien que la gamme de l’hôtel ne soit pas très élevée, la chambre était agréable (lit), néanmoins il n’y avait aucune pression dans les robinets et douche (étage élevé l’explique peut être mais ce n’est pas une raison). l’étagère sous le lavabo n’est pas fixé et m’est tombé dessus (chambre 907).

いろんな意味でお気楽なパリライフ（都合6泊）を送ることができました。他の部屋の音が聞こえてこないのと、空調がちゃんと機能していたので、よく眠れました。交通量の多い幹線道路＆大渋滞する交差点に面していますが、少なくとも5階（ということは6階）の私の部屋からは、日本に比べて乱発されがちなクラクションの音もまったく気になりませんでした。また、パリの二つ星に、日本のビジネスホテル並のサービスは期待してはいけない…かもしれない、と思って、あれこれ用意しておいたのが正解。バスタオル以外のアメニティは皆無なので、歯ブラシ、ひげ剃りは必須。頭も身体も手もいっしょくたにしてしまった「シャンプー」が許せないのなら、少なくともメリットさんくらいは持参したほうがよいかと。湯沸かしポットももちろんありませんから、少し荷物になるけれどポータブルの湯沸かしポットを持って来れば、持参したインスタントコーヒーや味噌汁が自在に飲めます。一階のエレベーターわきには飲料水のベンダーがあって、お湯もちゃんと出ます。空いたペットボトルに入れ放題なのは、円が弱い今どき、とても助かりました。電子レンジもあるので、近くのカルフールで買った怪しいレンチン料理が楽しめて、確実に節約できます。結局、近所のレストランには一度も行きませんでした(^_^;)　ちなみにエレベーターは２基あるので、なぜか上下の区別がない呼び出しボタンに慣れれば、待たされずに済みます。シンプルな朝食もまた、気楽でよいかと。

Llegamos y me cobraron por guardar solo una balsa de Mano por 2 horas hasta que estuviera lista la habitation, regressions a las 2:30 y me Dieron una habitation que no estaba lista esperamos por 15 minutes y el senor nos dijo que se demoraba que Fueramos à la reception para cambia de habitation fuimos y nos dieron una de personas disabilitada y el baño era horrible y sucio que mi hijo no se quiso bañar en el de verdad no lo recommendo el hotel es horrible 0/10

It is remarkable hotel management accepts the receptionist be so rude and unwilling to help or try to reach a solution. I was told to figure it out myself why I had a booking confirmation, proof of payment and it didn’t match to what they had in their reservation system. If I booked through Expedia, I should sort it out with them and not hold the other guests up who wanted to check in. So he simply refused to check me in. If I were to treat a customer like this and talk the way he talked to me, I would get fired on the spot. Our assitant even tried calling him to send all documentation that we didn’t know why the name did not match their system and neither did Expedia (who she contacted immediately) because they gave them the correct name. He told her to get off the phone because he didn’t have time to deal with her nonsense. She sent everything by email immediately and he didn’t even bother to reply to the email nor call back. OMG!

O quarto é bem pequeno, escolhemos por ter ar condicionado que é difícil de achar em Paris e boa localização. A limpeza do quarto ocorre todo dia e o rapaz era ótimo. Lado negativo são a recepção e funcionários do café que não são nenhum um pouco simpáticos.
