Our stay was phenomenal! The staff was kind and extremely helpful. The apartment was beautiful and the balcony views were fantastic. The metro was nearby and easy to use to get to all locations we wanted to visit. We walked late at night and it was quiet, but did not feel unsafe. I would love to book again with them next time we visit!

Waited 2 hours after check in time and no room

We arrived early at 9am and was able to put our 11 luggage in holding. Told by an employee to come back at 2pm for check in for our 2 reserved rooms. We get back at 2pm and was told check in is at 3pm. So why were we told 2pm? The manager said that employee might not have understood english very well and said thats incorrect. We did get 1 room at 2pm and the room was filthy and the fridge did not work.
Waited til 3pm for the next and was told their cleaning crew was 3rd party and didnt have the room ready. As it came closer to 4pm we ended up booking Les Artiste 5 start hotel for less over the phone. As soon as we said we wanted to cancel and the service sucks, we were offered free double room upgrades. Asked for a refund since its the Hotel's fault for not being able to check us in and was told its policy no refunds. So I am working with Hotels.com customer service trying to get my refund now.

Horrible experience. I was not familiar with Paris when I booked it. FYI this hotel is 50 minutes away from everything. I can’t explain how dirty this place was. Patio was never cleaned for years I could say. Scrub the table 5 times before eating dinner on it and still it was dirty. Housekeeping is every 5 night and we asked for it in our 3rd day, they refused it. At the first night I asked for extra blanket or some sort of extra sheets. They didn’t have it. At 3rd day I asked for clean towels. They said it’s an up charge but he can waive it for us with a blink. The other thing is the patio opens to a daycare and you will wake-up with kids screaming. On Saturday I thought daycare will be closed and I can sleep longer. Nope. There is some sort of religious gathering every Saturday and the sing a very loud song. Bed was very bad too. I’m not recommending it to anyone.

The sofa pulled out into two separate single beds which the kids really liked, rather than having to share. We LOVED having a view of the Eiffel Tower from both the bedroom and dining area. Watching it twinkle late at night was a highlight of our trip. (In summer, it only twinkles at 11pm, 12am and 1am - for 5 mins each time - when most people are home!) The heated towel rail in the bathroom was nice too.

The only negative was that the safe in the room was not functioning (message says “Error” when choosing a code). They were not able to fix it during our stay.

Everything else was fine. We could even see the top of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony.

The bed was a folded down sofa bed which I found a little uncomfortable. It was super quiet at night and I slept really well. I loved the little kitchen. This allowed us to be able to cook and eat in our room if we wanted. The hotel is a 5 min walk from Metro Line 4 Mairie Montrouge. This line gets you to all the places you want to visit in Paris.

It was our first time in Paris and the Hotel exceeded my expectations. Great location, safe and easy access to Metro, grocery store and restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, full kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is always someone available anytime of the day. The water and coffee machines in lobby are an added plus. Definitely recommend!

The hotel personnel were very professional and guide us through out our trip. Great customer service.
They recommended many venues to eat and to visit in out short stay. The room was very spacious and super clean. My kids were able to rest each in a bed. Which is a plus for us. The beds were comfortable and the sheet were clean. The kitchenette was well supplied with all I needed for breakfast. The hotel provided free coffee, chocolate and water. I will recommend this place for a family. The area was nice and therewere stores and bakeries all around us.

Room was nice and had air conditioning which you could turn up or down. Lots of storage compartments. Is a good place to stay if you don’t want to be around noise or busy streets, I am a light sleeper and getting to sleep was easy. The only thing I would say that could of been better was having more towels. We stayed for a week and only had 2 body towels and 2 face towels, there was no house keeping that changed the towels . Also having more or bigger bins would of been great

This is a good property if you don't want to spend more money staying in central Paris. It's a 10 minute walk from the #4 metro line, and the area around the hotel is safe with grocery stores and some dining options. The hotel room had a kitchen, with pots, pans, plates, cups and cutlery, which was convenient, although our kettle did not work. The hotel offered free tea and coffee 24 hrs a day via a machine in the lobby.

Excellent value for a clean well run hotel. The room was spacious and nicely done with a kitchenette, if that's your thing. There is no maid service for short stays unless requested but this was not a big deal for me. Since it's a budget hotel/ they run very leans there is very little staff which was a bit of problem when I could not get my room safe opened (it was resolved). I would gladly stay at this property again, or use the brand elsewhere. Good bang fo the buck.

PROXIMITY TO MAIN ATTRACTION:
It's outside of Paris. It takes about 35-40 minutes to get to the Eiffel Tower & a few other spots, excluding Versailles. 3 different buses are right outside of hotel. The train is about a 10 minute walk, maybe a little closer, depending on how fast you walk. It is the M4 train.

LOCATION:
The area is very quiet. There is also another adagio right across the street from this one. I was told by a cabbie that it is a commercial area, but it seems to be a mix of commercial and residential. I felt safe in the area both day and night. The streets are also clean. There is a great little bakery right next to the hotel where I got my morning coffee & dessert everyday. There is also a monoprix (supermarket) down the block, a 5 minute walk. Also across from the hotel is a halal spot, a cafe, & a little grocery store where you can buy some snacks like candy, some alcohol, soap, a few little items. A pizzeria is just before the monoprix too.

HOTEL ROOM:
We had the apartment, 1 bedroom, & balcony. It was great. The kitchen is just as advertised. There is 1 flat screen TV. The bedroom can be made private by closing the sliding doors. Bed was comfortable & sheets were clean. 2nd room had a sofa with a pull out twin bed underneath it. That area slept 2 other people. It held 2 teenage kids. Both rooms had access to the balcony, where we sometimes ate our food. Friendly & helpful staff. They spoke English too.

Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Metro about 10 mins walk, bus available opposite the hotel.
Property had a lovely balcony view. We were on the 8th floor with view of Eiffel Tower. Slightly disappointed with the actually inside of the property. Carpets stained. Bedroom wardrobe was broken and had fallen apart. Hoover didn’t seem to work even after getting someone over to fix it. Kitchen area is tiny. Can only fit one person. Toilet smelt really bad, had to buy toilet cleaner and air freshener. Other than that, hotel was good enough for us.

I intended "service" as the staff's efforts to be nice and attend need´s clients. Grab and go tasty croissants and flavoured water at lobby. Location was good, a 9 min walk from Montrouge Metro Station and city of Montrouge. Poor air conditioning, we spent very hot days there. My matress was uneven. There was a nice balcony to the street which we used to dry clothes we washed in the bathroom but at hot days we cannot leave the door to the balcony opened because street noise was ruge (room with a poor air conditioning). Cleaness needs improvement.

First and last !

When I reserved (a month before) , I've asked if it's possible to have two separate beds... Because my two guests were big and couldn't sleep in one bed (much smaller than a queen bed), I went back a week before to ask them again (had to wait 38 minutes to ask a question because the receptionist was alone and several groups were waiting...) they said they will call me back and never did... And one of my guests had to sleep on the ground because their only solution for me was to pay a second studio... Won't go back again !

The lobby hasn’t got very strong air conditioning however the room is great! Also the shower holder cannot hold at a certain position, it slides down. In general it’s a great time and we didn’t cook anything. Metro line 4 is closed so it is more difficult to get into Paris city centre. It takes about 40 plus minutes with the transfer.

Horrible Stay at Hotel Adagio

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay in Aparthotel Adagio Paris Montrouge from June 19-23. We paid for a room that was supposed to have two double beds. We made our reservation on March 30th. We even contacted the hotel prior to arriving there. However, when we checked in to the room, we noticed that unlike what we paid for, the room only contained two single beds. When we reported this to the receptionist (Sophie), she told us that all those rooms are already occupied and this is all that the hotel could offer for us.
Our room itself was smaller than the one we paid for. It was meant for two people, but four of us had to fit in this space. Only two pillows were given. It took two days of going to the reception and waiting, before the manager and staff provided us with two more. The manager and female staff members were extremely rude and unprofessional.
We contacted the Hotels.com team several times, and they told us that they will resolve this issue and nothing was done from their side either. Due to this, our entire trip was extremely inconvenient for me and my family. We barely got any sleep due to four adults sharing two single beds. One of the hotels.com representatives that I spoke with, said that we will be compensated for what occurred. But no one had contacted us since from hotels.com about the issue. We expected more from this organization but we are utterly disappointed with how case is handled.

Our 2 bedroom was quite spacious and kitchen amenities clean and useful. Bathroom also fine. The small separate toilet however was often unpleasant with only 1 cleaning per week and no provisions to keep it clean, and no ventilation. Carpet is old and stained and there are odors in corridors from cooking etc. Not as chic as photos suggest. Also numerous and changing door codes, parking codes, and WiFi codes annoying and difficult to manage.

Booked and paid in advance, on arrival at 10pm was told they had no room. Had to make 2 cab journeys to another property they own. The room at that property didn't have any heating, in the depth of winter, they took another 30mins to find a small portable heater to at least warm up the bedroom, rest of suite remained like a refrigerator. Having paid in advance and received confirmation, I find this unacceptable. No offer of compensation, no offer of apology from manager, no contact before of after. I strongly recommend you book elsehwere.

Hotel in a good location in the southern side of Paris, plenty of restaurants around.
Room was spacious and comfortable, but a bit tired and in need of a facelift. Only stayed for one night so had no need for the well equipped kitchenette. Bring your own toiletries as they only supply basics.
Breakfast was not the widest selection of options but okay.

We were a little disappointed when we got to hotel at 1700 and our room wasnt ready after driving for 9 hours. We had to wait for about 45-1 hour to get our room. The room we got had carpet and it felt gross, sticky and dirty we kept our shoes all the time. Other than that the hotel room was good for our family of three, if you are looking for fancy this hotel is not it. We were able to cook our own breakfast so that was nice. Metro station is 10 minutes from hotel and around 20 min ride into Paris. Hotel offers parking for €15 a day which was convenient for us. Overall it was a good stay.

Friendly and Professional staff

Hotel staff were great and very professional, we arrived early to the hotel and even though we were not able to get our room that early the staff took and secured our luggage so we could enjoy Paris until it was time to check in. The room was clean, organized and very comfortable. The metro was a 10 minute walk from the hotel with several restaurants, pharmacies, “corner stores” on the way. The hotel had a self laundry service which was very helpful to us.

Overall, our family of 4 were very happy and comfortable with our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel provided both a security safe in the room and a key code to get into the building with staff members always available at the front desk.

The next time our family come to Paris we would not mind staying here again. We had a lot of fun here and even though we were dead tired from all the walking, running and exploring the city we knew once we made it to the hotel, we were home!

I think it is very important point to find good show, has experience in hospitals, and clean waiter...need good smell too.

Not the best front desk experience. Staff rude and not al all helpful. I assumed there was a language barrier even though I spoke some French. On the upside that bed was extremely comfortable. We slept like babies.

Spacious apartment with a great balcony and very nice view from the Eiffel tower. Walking distance to the metro, grocery store almost in front of the property, good restaurants in the area. Parking inside the building with wide parking spots was a plus! Very comfortable for me and my family, we have a baby and the apartment worked pretty well.

Better than Adagio Paris XV

I booked a studio with balcony which was supposed to have 2 beds but turned out the apartments have 2 beds. Luckily Luke at the front desk upgraded us but couldn't do it for the whole week. I had to call hotels.com from my cell to see what could be done. I was on the phone for over an hour with Summer from Arizona (who was amazing) and the back and forth with Luke and Summer was excruciating. The final outcome was a booking at adagio paris XV which turned out worse!! The Montrouge had everything close by and was comfortable and quaint, however, the pictures portrait a fresher look than it actually is! When we had to change hotels the next day, we had to get there on our own, no shuttle service.

We stayed here for a few nights. There was some confusion around whether breakfast was included in our package as they couldn’t see this in their records. They weren’t fussed when I showed them my side of the booking. Apart from this, we didnt have much issues during our stay. Its close to the metro, which made it an ideal place for us to stay and commute from.

Breakfast is limited of choice. Nonetheless, highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Terrible In General

Overall, we looked forward to a more comfortable sleeping condition. Repeatedly, we asked for 2 double beds. To our surprise, they gave us one double bed and one sofa bed. We had waited the whole afternoon only to get our order incorrect again which I think is unacceptable. The staff had a terrible attitude when we asked for room change. Finally, we called Expedia solving the problem. Around 7:30 pm we finally were able to get a pretty decent room. The sleeping arrangement was exceptional but the room was not sanitary. Maybe it was that we were American citizens that were used to daily room cleaning service. But the hotel provided NO cleaning. Keep in mind that this was rated a 4-star hotel. We lived there for 6 nights in an unsanitary room. Also, some of our daily needs such as tissues and towels were unavailable. We asked several times for a box of tissues... they said they would send us one to our room..... at the end of the day we were still missing the box of tissues. Towels could only be sent once every three days. Don't we expect to take a shower every day! Our experience was miserable and we fondly do not recommend it to anyone who doesn't like to stay clean. I sincerely apologize to the staff for the terrible review, but this is truly what we experienced.

Location, size of rooms, friendliness and professionalism of staff, specifically Alexandra at the reception, all was just we needed for a week stay at a very short distance from the center of Paris. Bus and metro stations nearby, restaurants, all, except for the breakfast, at reasonable rates. Would recommend to business visitors as well as tourists.

Convenient, clean hotel with great staff

We enjoyed our stay in large part because of the staff and great view from the balcony. The front desk staff were very friendly and courteous, and never failed to greet us at any hour of the day/night. The room was comfortable and clean with a great view. The street traffic below was a bit noisy but not terrible, and the pull-down bed was decent if not exceptionally comfortable. Proximity to bus, tram and metro made this quite convenient, and nearby shops (especially the Monoprix across the street) made it easy to take advantage of the mini-kitchen. The lobby was quite clean and the general feeling of the interior was newly-redone.

It was a nice place to stay in, very comfortable, love how my room was setup, the only downside was the the carpet in my room, let's just say it needed a deep cleaning but if I ever go back to Paris, this Aparthotel will be my first to check for to stay in.

Good hotel,safe neighbourhood,easy transit access

Overall very good stay except for a very stained carpet. We were offered another room but ended up staying in original room as reassured carpets were cleaned but stains can’t be removed. Other rooms were having carpets changed but not all hotel rooms were completed.

Not what Expedia offered...FALSE ADVERTISING!!

When we made our reservations for this hotel through Expedia, the adds made it seem much better than it really was. It said that it was walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and it showed the room with a balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

It is far from the Eiffel Tower, it's about a 20 minute drive. It's not in a bad location, it just wasn't at all where we thought it would be and it did affect our plans. There were rooms in the hotel with balconies, but ours did not have one. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and it was one that folded up into the wall- not an actual bed.

We tried using the room safe, and it malfunctioned. We had all of our belongings in it and it wouldn't open. Our room keys, wallets, car keys and everything we're locked inside so we were stuck in the room until it was opened. When we asked the worker to open it so that we could leave, they took hours to show up to the room. They kept saying "10 more minutes." It took almost 7 hours to get them to unlock our safe and this held up our plans.

Our last day, the gate to the parking garage wouldn't open. We were stuck outside for almost an hour. The same worker who took a very long time to help with the safe was working while the gate wouldn't open. She seemed to not care at all that we were unable to enter the property. Parking there was already €78 per week so we were upset that we couldn't park.

Super nice staff

The staff at this place were super helpful and nice. They were also really accommodating, even though we didn't speak French. Most of them speak English and French, so they made us feel really comfortable. The room was really clean, but the beds were horrible! They had really big dips in the mattresses, even after we flipped them. That was super annoying, but it was the only negative about the trip. Also the washer and dryer are not that great and they are super expensive (Like 5 bucks or something). We had to dry our clothes a couple of times and then put them on the heat bar in the bathroom after to get them dry.

Over all our experience here was great! We did have a problem upon check-in, we had booked a room that would sleep two adults and one child and we stated that on our reservation. Upon arrival we were told that our child was too old to stay in the same room but the hotel staff quickly fix the problem by providing us an additional room free of charge. This seems to be a mixup with Expedia not representing the hotel correctly. I cannot say enough about how polite and courteous the hotel staff is. It is in a great, quiet location and we enjoyed everything!!

Fantastic. Location and staff are perfect. Room comfortable and kitchen helped when traveling with family. Had vue from the balcony of Eifel tour and Paris. Besides the durty carpet it was super. My girls thought breakfast was free and had to pay when checking out. It wasn't cheap

Great hotel for our needs.

Overall, a great hotel. Mattress is super hard and rooms are small but it's what we would expect in Paris. It is not close to Eiffel Tower at all but it is close to the metro and easy access everywhere. We did have some mix ups. Expedia told us the room had enough space for 3 adults and 1 child which was untrue. The hotel ended up giving us another room bc it was miss represented by expedia. We were also told that breakfast was included. This is also untrue, we were told that breakfast was never included. So it seems that the hotel and expedia need to work out some
Issues. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay or vacation. They als have THE BEST STAFF I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AT ANY HOTEL!!!!
