I didn't expect the one person room would be such a small square footage tend it was myself and my daughter trip the room was too small. We did enjoy the morning breakfast Samia hospitality was warm. We enjoyed our trip In Paris we love every second of every day Mercure Paris is a very quaint place to stay.

Good- Very clean, coffee machine, comfy bed, very close to metro.

Bad- Some of the staff not very polite, got given a twin room when I'd paid for a double (just because I'm travelling solo doesn't mean I should have to sleep in a small bed!), temperature of the water- really don''t know why there's a bath, the water is lukewarm so by the time a bath is run, the water is almost cold, had to have a shower so there was a constant flow of water that didn't go cold

A nice modern hotel not too far from the centre of Paris about 20 mins on the metro from the main tourist attractions.
Hotel in Paris are usually quite small but the room was a decent size quite spacious enough room for 2 people. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we would be back! What a wonderful staff, dining area, lobby, open areas and rooms. Everything was so clean and accessible. The beds and comforters were so comfortable and clean. Bathroom was actually really fun to use, we loved the rain shower head and ease of use to switch between three modes. Smoke closet space, nice sized tv and good space in the room. Very close to all transport options allowed us to get anywhere within 30 minutes. The area around is more residential and quiet and semi clean. Can't blame the hotel for Paris' homeless bum drug addicts. It steams me to see grown men begging out front. They can simply get a job. Maybe door security might enhance feeling safe at night considering the door is locked and these people really do \"bum\" rush you for money or smokes. Other than that this location was amazing. Keep up the Star service and superior attitude! Your hotel was amazing!

This is a very interesting hotel. Really a Boutique Hotel. The staff are awesome and extremely helpful. The room was a good size. We would have given higher marks if the room was not so dusty. we typically wipe down surfaces with sanitary wipes to protect against Covid and flu. When we did, the wipe quickly turned grey from the layer of dust on many surfaces, such as counter tops and bedside night stands.

Nonetheless, we would recommend this hotel to friends and if we are able to return to Paris, would certainly consider staying there again.

Affordable restaurants around but the only bad thing about the hotel is that it charges €3,50 for a bottle of water instead of giving guests 2free bottles of water on arrival. This was my first trip outside of North America. I wasn’t sure what to expect being a solo traveler, but let me tell you. The staff here are incredible. I don’t speak really any French, so it was nice that they spoke English. At night when the doors locked, it felt like they were really looking out for you. They greet you each time you come and go. The room was super clean. The bed was comfy. The view was amazing. I would definitely stay there again.

Very poor customer services throughout the hotel. Poor responsiveness of staff!
Hotel heating system is way too hot and A/C cannot be controlled on an individual basis.
Excellent breakfast however and excellent staff working breakfast. Front desk staff however need a lot of development despite being many years working there!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in the alesia mercure hotel. Our room was 701 with the view of the street which was nice. Mind it got a little noisy at times.

The hotel was clean and comfortable (except the pillows weren’t that comfortable!) The room was a little on the small side but that didn’t bother us. Bathroom was a nice size with a nice powerful shower.

The hotel is on the doorstep of Port d’Orleans metro which was fantastic!

Food: We didn’t have the breakfast offered at the hotel as it was quite expensive but this wasn’t an issue as there are cafes/bakeries opposite the hotel etc. Also for lunch/dinner, there are some grilled places around the hotel. We went to grillades istanbul which was absolutely delish!

Location: the hotel was quite far from the CDG airport, took us an RER and metro to get there and it took around an hour. It wasn’t too bad of a journey actually. It’s about a 30 mins metro ride into the centre of Paris near the Eiffel Tower etc so it was great.

Overall a lovely and clean hotel. Nice and friendly staff so I would definitely recommend.

Hotel is quite basic. Rooms are small. No complementary toiletries other than a small bar of soap so take everything with you. Staff are “laid back” to the point of horizontal and prefer chatting to their mates on the phone rather than getting your luggage for you. Cocktails advertised throughout the hotel but no one knows how to make them - when to help them you change your order they still charge you the premium amount rather than saying you could have them for the cost of the cocktails they don’t know how to make. Rooms are overly hot & noisy, air con doesn’t work and you can’t open the window as traffic noisy. Near metro and nice breakfast are the positives. Not my idea of 4 star.

Great transport links but otherwise not sure.

Somewhat bizarre experience, was put on the 8th floor but the hotel lift only goes up to 7th, followed by a spiral staircase with a heavy suitcase. It feels like the top floor is an extension of the hotel. Bit cramped, the bed and bathroom were clean but the desk was dusty and the wall was stained. Usually Mercure 4* is pretty good from past experiences but this wasn’t the usual standard.

Hotel is small but OK, Iron board not standard but can be requested from reception.
TV did not work for three days, and internet was very slow which did not allow fro streaming movies. We asked for compensation but were not even offered free breakfast, which was disappointing.

Wonderful with some asterisks

This was a wonderful hotel and I complement the front desk; upon arriving at 900am, she made me a priority and the room was available at noon. A high floor was requested and received. Half a block away is the Metro 4 Line, so very convenient. Many stores, bakeries are nearby. For those traveling from CDG, the great thing is the Cite Universitaire stop on the B line is near the hotel; you take the 3 tram right outside the station and in 2 easy stops is the hotel. An elevator is available at Cite Universitaire and the tram provides easy access for luggage (flush with the curb). This is a nice change from lugging your heavy luggage through the non-elevator oriented Metro lines. The hotel is 13 stops from Chatelet subway, which is central and 10 stops from Odeon Station (The Latin Quarter), so depending on your view, a bit of a commute. I personally had trouble with the internet; it required logging on to the hotel site every time. Often, the \"you are at risk for exposure\" que appeared after trying to log on. Half a block away is Paris Orleans, a restaurant that opens at 6am and has cafe (expresso) for 1.80 Euros. This was a great place to start the day and to see how Parisians relate to their coffee habits (quick, no conversation, no reading the paper).

Clean & boutique with great location for Catacombs

A nice hotel with a great location for Catacombs. For a Paris 4* hotel (which is usually the equivalent of a 3* in most countries) this was a decent step up from the falsely-advertised Parisian \"4*\" hotels. In reality it's probably a 3.5* but for the price, it's worth it.
The room itself was clean and had a chic, modern style. One could be forgiven for thinking there was no wardrobe, as it blended seamlessly into the decor. Unfortunately, the marble desk counter was not cleaned and covered in white splash marks, which were only noticeable once you caught the right angle of light. The room was equipped with a fridge, safe and hairdryer which is all we wanted. The bed sheets were crisp and clean but both my gf and I felt a pinching, pin-prick feeling once we got into bed. We inspected for bed bugs but couldn't see any signs and had no bite marks the next morning. Maybe it was an allergic reaction - we're not sure. The bathroom was modern but small and the toilet roll kept getting knocked off as a result. The rainfall shower was nice but the glass divider was too short so the water went all over the toilet and floor. The bathroom was equipped with a magnifying mirror and a heated mirror which prevented steam after a shower - these were nice touches.
Overall the hotel was a nice place to stay and if you're in the Porte d'Orleans area, I'd have no issue recommending it. It's very handy for getting to the Catacombs and Montparnasse, with lots of nice food options close by.

Modern decor, close to the Metro

Stayed for 4 nights. Staff were very accommodating. Close to the Metro, just a couple of minutes walk. 4 stops and you are in the Citi. Nice cafes surrounding the Hotel and a small supermarket also.

Great hotel in a very convenient area (steps away to metro, restaurants, grocery stores) that is safe. Hotel staff also very friendly and helpful. Room was exceptionally clean and had great amenities (WiFi, renovated rooms with large shower, etc).

Overall a fantastic experience.

Very clean and convenient Hotel.

After a long flight, check in at Hotel took a long time due to problem with guests in front of me. Other than that, stay was very nice. Very close to bus line to Gare d'Nord and Metro station.

The location was exceptionally good with food stores open up till late at night. It was also a short walk away from Alesia which has lots of fast food. Room was a bit small but bed was very comfy.

Fantastic breakfast

Breakfasts were fantastic. Good selection of organic food with fine quality. The only thing I felt unhappy was I asked for a room not on top floor and got promised. Still got a room on top floor which was even smaller. The smallest room I’ve ever lived.

Suburban Hotel

I thought that it was a long way away from the main sights of Paris and so quite a long time was spent in time getting from one place to another. This meant a lot was spent on fares.
The surrounding shops and restaurants were fair.
The Hotel did not have any black tea bags available only strange flavours.
I was glad that we stayed there just before we left for our homeward journey and it would not have been very enjoyable at the start of our holiday.

One guy working at night was not friendly at all for the duration of our stay
My double bed room was very small (across from the elevator on first floor) and the bathroom lighting was horrible (too dim and created a shadow in mirror) had to put on make up outside of the bathroom
Hotel was clean and room maid was very nice
