I really love this line of hotels, Ibis. I always try to choose them. The positives include the convenient location. There are cafes, restaurants, shops, and a pharmacy nearby. The staff was quick to respond to my requests. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with something for every taste. The coffee was delicious, even though it was from a coffee machine.
Unfortunately, I encountered some negative aspects. The room was extremely cold. The old windows were windy and draughty. I had to put my pillows on the windowsills. The TV only worked on one channel. Even the toilet—I had to call a repairman because it was clogged when I moved in. Although the staff helped right away, I had to argue and explain that I needed it done now, not tomorrow. And the worst thing I encountered—mice! There were mice in the reception area!! That evening, I went downstairs with a friend to sit and relax—and mice were running around in the lobby.

They used a clean bed sheets with a permanent stains that really bothered me, they should toss that, I have a picture of it. We stayed 2 nights and the floor smells really bad, we need to open the window to take away the smells, something that they used for floor cleaning I guess and when we came back the room got tidy up and towels changed without us \"making a request\"for room cleaning, we left our personal things disarranged knowing no one going to touch our room. On the 2nd day was worst we noticed a leak like moist or bubbles on the washroom ceiling which really need attention. The most really annoyinh and most worst part, at 930AM we got disturbed, someone opened our door and closed, when we got up it's the cleaning lady and she came back again opening the door twice in every 30 minutes, We asked her about check up time and explained to her it's not check out time yet and she just said she is new to this hotel.

Advertisement pictures did not match the actual room and it was way smaller than it seemed. The bathroom doorknob was broken, we could not close it. Shower curtain non existent, so water got everywhere. Inside of the toilet was stained and appeared dirty. Scratches and stains everywhere on the walls. The sink blocker was partially broken, making water well up in seconds. Some of the towels were stained yellow. The mattresses were stained as well. The curtains inside the room was broken. The air conditioning was leaking. Housekeeping was not thorough at all. No fridge or coffee/tea table available. Would not really recommend.

Good value for money, service could improve

We appreciate the hotel was reasonably priced at the time of booking, even during high season. The room was clean, modern, not too big but just enough for our standards. The location is pretty far from the city centre but very well connected throug a bus stop right at the entrance. Of course, the price is lower to compensate for the distance, so no complaints there.

Some problems we had - there was a planned four-hour power shut down throughout the entire hotel, but no one from the staff bothered to inform us, not even upon check-in when they had the chance.

Additionally, we asked the staff for help with storing our luggage while we left the hotel to explore the city. Before I left the bags in the luggage room, I asked for a baggage ticket/number so the staff can safely identify that it's ours when we return to collect it. The staff member insisted there were no luggage tags/tickets available and it should be okay as it is. When we came back to collect our bags, a different staff woman was there, asking me for a luggage ticket for proper identification of the bags! Normally, she'd been right to do so, except her colleague wouldn't let me have them upon departure! That caused some delay and inconvenience, though it was eventually sorted out.

Finnally, as a couple staying for 2 nights, we've only received 2 toilet paper rolls, which forced me to get more from housekeeping on my own, which I think was avoidable.

Loved the area that the property was located in. Close to two metro stations and a variety of affordable dining options nearby. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we had no complaints. The only downside is that there is no safe in the room, only the paid lockers on the first floor. A lot of other hotels offer to keep luggage complimentary rather than having paid lockers, so this is the only thing we’d like different. But overall, a great stay and would definitely come back.

The hotel is shown as air-conditioned however the reception told us it is broken down when checking in. My stay was in June and the temperature went up to 33 degree in Paris which is horrible. After checking reviews from others the AC is not working for months but the hotel fails to inform guests in advance. Only thing they did was giving guests a fan and that's all. Due to this my stay is unpleasant.

The air conditioning was broken. The housekeeping supervisor told us since the vent was blowing warm air that it was working just fine. The restaurant was closed the entire weekend for a small group. The breakfast buffet was a large continental breakfast with limited choices. We’ve stayed at ibis properties in the past and this doesn’t live up to their standards.

The property reminded me of a college dorm. Rooms extremely small. No amenities (ex. Kleenex, bar soap, tea/coffee pot, etc). The bathroom door had no latch and must have been damaged because there were door patches. The shower-water flowed backwards and all over the floor. The sleeping area-beds were extremely uncomfortable. It was two box springs with a 1-1/2 inch mattress pad. We woke up everyday with a back and neck ache. Not the establishment we expected based on the pictures we saw during booking. NOT IMPRESSED!!!!

Awful experience! All power went off in our room so I called reception desk and member of staff said they’d sort it, power was back on a few mins later. This was all after midnight. So one then knocked/banged on our door not long afterwards but I didn’t open the door and when asked who it was there was no answer. We only booked for the 1 night but was woken up by a li hi t knock them the door was pushed open, thankfully I put our cases near the door so they fell over when whoever opened the door as again when I called out there was no response. Would not recommend this place as doesn’t feel very safe. I spoke with the staff when checking out who could not confirm who had knocked or why the power to the room went off. The room was clean and bed was comfy but wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel staff are just 10/5 stars! They are very helpful and kind. The staff working from 17-20 July deserves a raise!!

Hotel is pretty basic, room for 3 people was tiny but for just laying the head down was grand. The beds were very comfy, only thing the mattress topper kept sliding during the night. Very clean bathroom, just a bit outdated.

BE AWARE OF PICKPOCETS. My bag was stolen in the lobby while playing “Connect Four” with my child. Even though it was left under my chair, I still didn't notice. I suppose if the hotel had security in the lobby would help reduce such incidents, but again -!it is a 2-star hotel and maybe, therefore, this service is not possible.

For the money hotel stay was worth it.

Basic but lovely breakfast. Same each morning but enough to leave with a full belly.

The last thing we wished to have explored better, was the metro station is a 10-minute walk away. Quiet a journey in the heat every day twice in our case. The surrounding area felt very safe, with lots of food places and mini shops to get what you need.

Would I go back? For budget hotels - yes, for location - no.

Overall - it was alright.

Hotel is near the station Porte d'Orléans (15-20 walking distance) or by bus no. 125 to/from station & hotel.

We stayed 6 nights at this hotel. It was great that housekeepers came to clean the room every day.

But hotel does not provide kettle, water glass, instant coffee in the room. It is not convenient for the guests in the winter time.
Instead, there is a water dispenser (cold water) in the lobby.

Awful Experience! The staff at the concierge are not friendly at all. Very small and outdated rooms with no good air conditioning. Dirty pillows and blankets. The hotel doesn't even put a box of tissue in the room. No safety box or a small fridge. The reception's response to my complaints was \"Visitors from the Unites States always complain about how small and tight our rooms are. All Paris hotels are old and small like this. You shouldn't expect a tissue in your room from a 3-star ibis hotel\".
If you want to have a pleasant stay, you'd better find another hotel.

The staff spoke English and were really friendly. Especially the guy in the bar was super enthusiastic!( special shout-out this guy- have no idea what his name was!)
But overall the room was quite small( for three people) and was not completely clean. There were still remnants left in the bathroom. The windows didn’t provide complete isolation. So we felt quite chilly in the room at night. I would give it a 3/5.

If you are planning to visit downtown Paris, do not stay at this hotel. If you are planning to go to the airport don’t stay at this hotel as the taxi ride was 70 euros. I wouldn’t be giving you these tips but the girl at the counter was the one telling me how much of a mistake Ibhad made by booking a room in this hotel. So, not very helpful staff; a very small room and nothing to see around the hotel.

Very chilled out hotel, lots of restaurants near by plus on site restaurant. All the staff are great and also brilliant with babies giving them lots of attention! Rooms are big but not with a cotbed in! Clean rooms and bathrooms but the toilet was very low and lopsided! Room got quite hot at night and there seemed to be no air con but was quiet outside enough to have the window open.

The room lock was lose (Screw missing). I reported this to the reception 2 times. The shower handle holder height adjuster was broken (I am a tall guy). The shower height adjusters bottom attachment to the wall - the screw was visible - the lid covering it is missing.

THE HOTEL WAS GENERALLY GOOD AND STAFF QUITE HELPFUL. REASONABLE VALUE FOR MONEY. LOCATION WAS A BIT FAR FROM THE STATION, ALTHOUGH NOT TOO DIFFICULT TO FIND.
DOWNSIDE WERE THAT NO KETTLE IN ROOM FOR TEA/ COFFEE AND TOILET SEAT TOO CLOSE TO THE WALL, HENCE UNCOMFORTABLE TO USE FOR A TALL PERSON. FIRST TIME IN PARIS SO CAN'T REALLY COMPARE WITH OTHER HOTELS.

The hotel is located in zone 2 but if you cross over the highway, it will be zone 1, therefore the t+ tickets can still be used if you are taking the metro porta d Orleans.

I really like the soft bed and pillows chosen by Ibis. Room was very comfortable. To save money, we choose a location further away from the centre. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Port Orleans metro station, which is just within zone 1 of the Paris metro. It took about 20-25 mins by metro to reach the center of the city.

Recommend as a budget option.

Stayed on the 10th floor and could even see the Eiffel Tower from our window which was an unexpected bonus. There was no restrainer on the window however, and only a chain which could very easily be removed by a young child, which struck me as being incredibly dangerous given the sheer drop to the ground. Probably wouldn't be legal in the UK. Room was compact and felt a little tired compared to the modern reception area. Didn't have the hotel breakfast which we were particularly relieved about when we saw the enormous queue for it in the morning. Safe 10 minute walk to Montrouge metro which passed a Carrefour and patisseries so this was our breakfast instead. Would recommend the location. On the end of the metro line and although it was maybe 20 stops from some of the tourist sites, they're much closer together than the London Underground so you'd probably only be within 30 minutes on the metro from wherever you want to go and for this reason we thought the location was good. Would recommend this though as a budget option.

Stayed in the hotel seven nights. The location is fine, some 10 minutes of a leisurely walk from the metro station or the tram line. There is also a bus stop at the hotel door step. The room comfort is average like in other Ibis hotels. The AC worked fine. The WiFi worked in most instances but with some interruptions. The sign-in procedure for WiFi network is annoying as it must be carried out at least once a day. I took a breakfast once- it was adequate with good coffee, good pastries and many fruits. The room cleaning was sometimes negligent- they did not replace empty soap tubes, did not replace dirty towels, etc. In summary, the hotel is OK and its rate are reasonable.

Le personnel a été très compréhensif, malheureusement les chambres du 9eme étages ne correspondent pas tout à fait au photos , les chambres ont déjà bien vécu ! Le chauffage est monté a fond et il faut laisser la fenêtre ouverte pour pas transpirer tt la nuit . La chambre pour trois personne adulte est vraiment petite

Quel cauchemar !! Hôtel à fuir !
Honteux !
Une usine serait plus paisible ! Du bruits la journée et la nuit! Impossible de fermer l'oeil ! L'hôtesse d'accueil ne connait pas le mot bonjour !! Passez votre chemin et choisissez un autre hôtel !

Hubiese sido ideal si funcionara la calefacción. Hacía demasiado frío y no funcionaba la calefacción. No pudieron darme más mantas, por lo que pedí cambio de habitación y no tenían tampoco. Terminó la chica de recepción dándome el calefactor móvil de la recepción
