Do not go for breakfast after 8:50am as you will not find a table, food or juices available. It will take 10 minutes to get out of the hotel as the elevator only fits 3 people and very tight (as most French buildings). Stairs are tight so anybody with mobility issues may have problems getting in and out. There are stairs only to the second floor where you can take the elevator or stairs to access the upper floors. Tv in room had a broken screen and room on the 7th floor had mold in the ceiling (it was cleaned) when I complained. Room was clean.

Very clean hotel but needs better night staff

Hotel was clean with a fabulous breakfast and attentive breakfast staff. However, hotel was locked when I arrived shortly after 23:35 and had to wait outside for the night employee to let me in after 00:10 along with other hotel guests that were waiting to get into the hotel. Terrible to lock guests out of the hotel for such a long period of time. Elevator was broken the last day so that did not help either. Hotel is outside the metro with many stores nearby so location is fabulous.

Location was good near station and tram but there was no other facility in the hotel. Getting to hotel lift was big task as it was from the 1st Floor and if you have luggage it’s a hectic task to get through it. Also they had mentioned balcony but room was allotted without balcony. Front desk was not that courteous.

Horrible first visit to Paris

It was my first time in Paris with my family and our stay was not great. The hotel had no lift on the ground floor and offered no help with luggage. The worse part was they turned the AC off in the middle of the night. At one point, our entire floor had no AC. In addition, our first room had a clogged toilet and clogged bathroom sink. I was traveling with elderly parents and the folks next door had an infant, who was there before we arrived and they complained of no AC and they werent offered any assistance. On our last night, a kind gentleman, Danny, at the front desk, helped my dad to bring the bags down and offered refreshments prior to our departure. He was the best part of our stay. The showers had a plexi glass attachment that you could fall through which was very dangerous. Housekeeping didnt refill the shower soap dispenser. It was overall not a good stay.

Good experience overall. Steps from the Metro and decent food options. Rooms are fairly well sized compared to many Paris hotels. The hotel is well maintained and has an English-friendly staff.

I used Hotel Acropole as a comfortable and affordable option for traveling into the city. 10 Minutes to Montparnasse, 25 minutes to Saint Michel, and other tourist sites.

I recommend this hotel for solo travelers and couples who want a cost-effective way to enjoy Paris.

Look, the Pri e Point was fair. The staff were also helpful. We booked a Superior room and were given what we thought was acceptable for our use. We left for 3 nights, nut whe we came back were given a room on 6th floor. There was no lift working. There should have been a reduction for the inconveniance. I ask to bspeak with management but none have been available.

We had one day in Paris before our flight home. I booked this for it's location semi close to the Orly airport and also near the very end of the purple subway line which took us to the city... though we actually used Bolt mostly. So... if you are young and don't mind a steep 17 steps to get to the floor with the elevator, then this is ok. If you are older and perhaps have a lot of luggage then I would book elsewhere. I asked the night clerk to help with our luggage (five pieces total) and he literally took the smallest lightest one up the flight of stairs and then sat down allowing 70 yrs plus people drag big heavy luggage up this steep flight of stairs. He was too busy playing on his phone. The hotel should hire a bell hop or come with a warning label. I was so annoyed after this I basically interacted as little as possible with them the rest of my stay... and enjoyed my one day in Paris and had a nice flight home.

So this place is advertised as a comfy hotel, not too expensive and not too cheap, just in the middle somewhere. So you’d hope it would have the most basic facilities ... but sadly that was not my experience.

I chose the double comfort room.

Cons:
- no drinkable water
- no room service or bar so you can’t get some water
- there’s a vending machine but it was broken !!! but a kind member of staff gave me a bottle of water he happened to have on him
- they do breakfast between 8-10am but if you arrive at 8am they tell you you’re too early. Waited outside for 20 minutes before I was told I have to go back to reception and register to have breakfast, even though I had already done that the night before and paid for it. Ultimately I had a meeting to go to so I didn’t eat at the hotel but they charged me for breakfast for both days anyway.
- the rooms are ok but the walls are so thin you can hear people having conversations, amongst other things. Hard to get any rest.

Pros:
- Wonderful and friendly staff, despite the awful facilities offered to guests, the staff try to help you as much as they can.

Hotel is fine. Not wow, but nothing really bad either. Staff was very helpful. Housekeeping was erratic. They never replaced the shampoo and didn't provide hand lotion until I asked front desk. Towels were thin. No washcloths. Beds were very comfortable, but the quarters are tiny. There was no dresser or drawers for unpacking. I figured with a small room there would be under bed storage. I was wrong. Convenient location as metro stop is right outside. About 30 min to center of town.

We booked superior triple room for 3 people and stayed 2 nights. The hotel is super close to metro and bus stop. It took about 45 mins to Eiffel tower and half hour to train station. 10 mins walk to supermarket. The room is very small as expected. Check in service was great.

I loved staying here. In a very safe part of town. Right outside of the door is the metro , which can take you anywhere you want to go. They have a/c which was great. I can speak French, but the receptionist all speak English. Will definitely come back!

It is really annoying that you need to take a set of stairs to reach the elevator. This is particularly annoying if you have heavy bag size and hotel staff is not willing to help. Hotel toiletries are not restocked if you are staying for multiple nights. The cleaning staff is really stingy with towels. They refused to give me one extra large towel.

Only challenge was the stairs to get to the elevator and the TINY elevator but overall great stay! The steps and elevator probably would not be a big issue for most but we we had 2 weeks worth of luggage and 2 kiddos!

Great location. Entrance to subway right outside. Many stores nearby. Room is nice, clean and well equipped. Breakfast buffet was quite good but a little bit expensive. Toilet and shower room are separated, so you need to go to the shower room just to wash your hands after which was a little bit inconvenient (and the locks weren't working). It's located at a busy intersection so you may want to bring earplugs (I had no issues but it was noticeable).

The Hotel was staffed with very personable staff and very helpful. When we needed directions on the best ways to meet our destinations, they provided the best routes and even alternate routes as well.
The hotel was very clean, rooms were very nice and an all around pleasure to stay there at the Acropole.
My only observation is I wish they would have had some dresser drawer space where we could have unloaded our suitcases.

Budget you want Budget you get!

Having been in the tourism and hospitality sector all my life I like to be accurate and fair . I think this hotel only caters for French domestic guests. I wanted a Hotel close to Porte de Versailles as I was attending the Boat Show in Paris. In the description it said \"close\" !! In fact it is 5 stops and about 3 K's away at Porte D'Orleans !. Also the fact that there is NO Lift on the Ground Floor means if you have Luggage you need to carry it up to the 1st floor and if you are on any floor higher there is a very small lift a couple of people and their suitcase each! Big effort if you have luggage.
Staff ( only did see 4) are friendly. The best thing I experienced was a good value breakfast served from 7am by and excellent and experienced Stewardess.

The hotel itself was clean, modern and comfortable. We had the breakfast one day and it was very good. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, the area was perfect, a few steps to the lightrail and metro. Plenty of restaurants and shops amd grocery stores nearby too.
The only slight negative would be the baby cribs, there was only one, and we were given a rather well used mattress, no sheet, we didnt use the mattress. But it didnt dampen our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic hotel for the value! Staff are super helpful and friendly, hotel has a subway right outside the door great for getting around and lots of restaurants close plus a grocery store just around the corner, as for the hotel breakfast of 12 euros I didn't find that to be over priced for the verity you got, you spent the same for less at a restaurant so not sure why other reviews think it's so expensive, eating in Paris is very expensive unless you just eat fast food and even that isn't cheap.

Last year me and my fiancée got engaged and we stayed next door in the Hotel Terminus which is owned by the same owner.

On both occasions as it was a special occasion I paid for an upgraded room and on both occasions I have been given just a standard room.

The hotel is reasonable but considering I've paid for more than what I received on two occasions I'm more than a little disappointed. I really hope both hotels sort this out and it will be interesting to see if they keep their promise of a free upgrade if we decide to return.

In general though, for a standard room it was reasonable. Bed was comfortable, the fridge was useful and was in a good location right beside a metro station. The staff were also very pleasant.

My partner and I spent 3 nights at the hotel Acropole and would highly recommend it to others. The hotel is very modern and clean. Staff were pleasant and friendly.
The hotel has great transport network directly outside the hotel, with the metro service taking approximately 20 minutes to the the centre of Paris and other siteseeing attractions.
We went for the comfort double room, which was quite small. But for the little time we spent in the room was suitable for us.

Water would not drain. After a shower, water would flood to our ankles. After complaining to the staff they would simply remove the cover of the drain. Helped a little but water would still flood just below our ankles.

Same situation at the sink. We had to turn on and off the water frequently to minimize the flood.

This isn't some kind of a hotel strategy to save water price?? Is it????

Stayed at Hotel Acropole for 3 nights in October 2015 with my wife and daughter. Hotel and location were perfect!!!
Requested a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and that's what we got! The staff where friendly and helpful. Both Ramesh (night shift reception) and the morning shift gentleman were friendly and very helpful. Dinner next door was great. It is located right next to Porte d'Orleans Metro station which gives you access to all of Paris and all the tourist spots.
Had a wonderful time thank you to all the staff, it was great!

We really enjoyed the Hotel Acropole. The room and the bathroom were small but comfortable. We did not spend much time in the room because we were busy sightseeing. The hotel staff was very nice. The daytime staff seemed to be a bit more knowledgeable about the metro, sightseeing, etc. The metro was right outside the front door of the hotel so it was very easy access. That was nice because the hotel is not located very close to any of the major \"attractions\". But, because the metro was so close it was very easy to get to everything. The neighborhood where the hotel is seemed very nice. I would totally recommend this as an option to stay if you are okay with not being in the center of all the action. We really enjoyed it.

A pretty and delightful hotel to stay in! Very newly furnished and the room is clean, comfortable and spacious! Pictures of the room are exactly as taken from the hotel.

The location is abit far from the city centre but it is still super convenient because it is just located right next to the subway. It's only about 20 minutes' ride to the various attractions (eg. museums).

As for the room and service, it has almost everything we wanted. The people at the front desk are helpful too.

This hotel has large, comfortable, quiet rooms, especially for Paris. We had a corner room with a beautiful big window. I was surprised how large the room was when we walked in. The rooms are quite modern and come with a safe, fridge, coffee tea,etc. something not always included in Europe. Wifi was good and the location is steps from the subway. Although it is not close to any major attractions it is a simple quick subway trip to the center. If you want to take the RER B from the airport to the hotel, it is possible, but remember there are a lot of stairs and the escalators often are not running. If you have lots of baggage you may want to rethink this. If you do, take the RER B to Dendert Rochereau and the M4 to Porte d'Orleans ( 3 stops). It is easy, but having done it, I would recommend emailing the hotel and have them book a shuttle for you. We did this going back to the airport and it was quicker and so much easier with luggage.

I was impressed with the efficient, competent and very well mannered chap called Saeed at the reception. He sorted out our big bus tickets and airport drop coach so quickly. Always greeted us and above all very efficient in English. Excellent job!

Excellent location next to metro.

This was a very pleasing experience of Paris the hotel room was a wonderful surprise clean, modern lovely bathroom we even had a balcony ( we have stayed in Paris before) It's right next to the metro. There was plenty of shops all around the area & the staff spoke English & were very helpful.
Overall when we come to Paris again this is where we will be staying

We were welcomed by Said and he upgraded our room for our anniversary. The metro was right out our door as well as local resteraunts and a great supermarket.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was seemed smaller than expected on arrival however after getting unpacked and settled it was more than comfortable. Extremely clean and well furnished. Location is great after a long day as right next to metro so no walking needed. Would definitely stay again.

Great Hotel, great area!

At check-in, the front desk clerk was warm and welcoming and spoke very good English. The room was adequate and clean, with a nice very of the neighborhood. I feel all Americans would be surprised about the size of hotel rooms in Europe, compared to the US, but this hotel was common.
The area was fantastic, close to many restaurant options, shopping, etc. The most convenient thing was the proximity to a Metro station, the entrance of which was located just outside the front door. This made travel around Paris very accessible.
They offered continental breakfast. It seemed a bit pricey, so we opted for outside establishments. However, the breakfast offering was probably typical of Paris hotels.
In all, a great experience. I would go back!

Super helpful staff. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Felt more like a 4 star hotel than a 3 star. I was amazed at how close we were to the metro-- literally a 10-second walk away! FYI if you come back to the hotel late at night [after midnight] the doors are locked and you have to ring the bell and wait for a few minutes for someone to open the door. Would've been nice if they had water/tea/coffee in the room, but there are vending machines that one can access easily on each floor. I would absolutely stay here again.
