Pros: Great location in a safe neighborhood close to train and many nice local shops/restaurants. Day time staff was extremely nice. Room was clean and bed was relatively comfy.

Cons: The Room was much smaller than shown on the images. It was advertised as being sound proof but I could literally hear my neighbors talking in the next room. You have to give your room key to the front desk staff every time you leave and they lock the front door at night. There were times when I had to wait for staff to come back to the desk before getting my key and going to my room. The night staff is rather unfriendly and made a comment about me returning late?

Overall: the room was tidy, functional and reasonably priced. But I wouldn't stay here again.

On the hottest weekend in Paris (30+). The air conditioning in the hotel broke. This made our stay very unpleasant unfortunately. Our room was a sauna. There was no fan or arrangement to make up for the AC breaking. We were told the morning of our check in with no time to find other accommodations. Other than this, the hotel was clean and well located and had real charm. I would stay again if they had AC during the summer.

Too much rug deodorizer if you have allergies. Found it quaint and charming until they cannot be reached and have not returned a significant security deposit they charged before we arrived.
Both front desk staff Simona and Maury promised would be returned upon check out. It’s been 4 days and emails keep bouncing back.

It was an okay choice for what is a very expensive city to stay in. The location is pretty convenient as it's close to a couple of metro stations, and plenty of food options and a supermarket nearby.

We were in the family room on the ground floor which was very basic. The accessible shower left water all over the floor so you'd need to be very careful if you had toddlers or young children in there as the floor stays wet and slippery afterwards. The curtain rod fell out of the wall when we got there and wasn't fixed for a couple of days, waking us up in the middle of the night when it fell down again. We had to ask for hot water for tea as there's no kettle in the room either. They also make you leave your key at the front desk every time you go out, which I found super strange.

If you can afford it, I'd suggest finding somewhere a little nicer to stay. But if you're just looking for a basic bed, this will fit the bill.

A great place to rest after a long day in Paris with the crowd. Very clean , quiet and safe. It was my 2sd stay there and i must say every time i booked Simona was there to welcome me .

I stayed at this hotel second time now after 2 year's. Has everything what you need. Affordable price even for the Olympics games during the week. Easy access to transportation and quick.
The staff was really nice. Very flexible with your need, they will try their best to accommodate you and feel good.

I only had a 24 hour stay in Paris and I'm so glad I picked this hotel. It was conveniently located only 25 minutes from Orly Airport and the staff was really nice . Most of the staff spoke English and they let me check in early because the room was available. The neighborhood where the hotel was located was quiet and you can walk to many shops and many stores in the area. The room was clean and the bed comfortable . They also had USB outlets on the headboard so if you forgot your converter for you charger you would be fine. I would definitely stay here again .

They said they only have one family room in their hotel. The room is next to the kitchen and their office. Lots of noises in the early morning. Lots of dirty bag of towels and debris in the narrow hallway to the room. There is only a thin curtain to the bathroom. Bathroom smells like sewage / moody once you enter the room. The cleaning staff used one of our toothbrush to clean something that is very noticeable on the tooth brush.

Really Great Paris Option

Hotel was really charming, decent sized rooms, friendly staff. Only slight issue was that the hot water went out in the building on our final night, but overall the stay was lovely. It's close to several big metro stops so it's very easy to get around the city while also being out of the way enough that it's quiet.

My unsatisfactory experience

It is the second time in this hotel in less than 3 months. The first time was a very good experience, the second time Sep,20 to Sep,22 my room was smelling bad (probably coming from the toilet), few electricity sockets were not working, lights on the bedside were not functioning properly, and the environment was quite noisy late night.

Property is in top-notch condition, newly renovated, excellent air-conditioning. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Conveniently located about seven minutes from the metro in a safe and quiet neighborhood. About 15 minutes walk from the best Paris flea market, held on Saturdays and Sundays, if you’re into that kind of thing. We had a great stay all around. Will definitely come back and recommend to all our friends.

Small Hotel on the outer part of the 14th in Paris. Except for a few ants in the bathroom that we noticed on our last day, they look renovated and very clean. The room in general looks old-fashioned but clean, you still need to leave the key at the front desk when you go out as they don't use the key cards yet. Staff were mostly nice. We are low maintenance, independent travelers so we hardly ever ask for anything from them but at least they greeted and smiled everytime we saw them. Location is good, with public transportation available near by. Metro, bus, tram, anything just 5 minutes or less on foot. So if you just want a place to sleep and get ready for your day, this is a good place.

Lovely little clean room. Small, but we were not there much anyway. On a dead end street so pretty quiet. Lots to do within walking distance. Tons of cafes and shopping. We walked to the catacombs and a cat cafe but it is a pretty decent walk. Only negative I can think of is there are no outlets in the bathroom and only one in the room. Friendly staff.

Tiles were loose in the area surrounding the tube and after cleaned smelled moldy. Didn't change sheets (evidenced by accidentally spilling chocolate sorbet on the comforter and find the stain on the comforter the next evening. Service was unremarkable but decent. Location was found to be a little bit far from the city, but manageable with the Metro being relatively close. Overall not the worst, but not the best.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I should have stayed for 2 nights but left after 1 - the noise from the other rooms is terrible, you can hear every cough, snore and toilet activity. I didn’t sleep all night thanks to the above, it’s got to be one of the worst hotels for noise I’ve every stayed in - and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Paris

A great neighbourhood to retreat to after a day in the heart of Paris! A quick metro ride and you find yourself at a lovely hotel whose management is welcoming and helpful the moment you step in the door. The rooms are spacious, clean and worked well for a family of three. Very little noise heard inside or out.
The breakfast room is well looked after and the breakfast is decent though pricey. There are patisserie’s in the area that might be a good alternative. And yes, there is an elevator! Definitely worth the price.

Quaint but not for business travel

Quiant hotel but not suitable for a business trip. No USB outlets so you're out of luck if you do not have an adaptor for your devices. No air conditioning in the room so it was always hot and stuffy, even with the fan on. TV only had one English station and the TV itself was small and on top of a cabinet so not really ideal. If I was staying on vacation (which I would not do as it is not really in a tourist part of town) it would be fine but for business purposes I would not stay again if I had a choice.

A night with disappointing stay

Rushing through for one night is okay. Not so good for more than one night, room is very dim even all the lights are on. Luckily, the bed is firm. However, it is too expensive (over $230 including tax and special service charge) for such a small run-down room. Breakfast is normal.

A very quaint hotel nestled in a quiet alleyway with nice and friendly staff. It is within walking distance of the Alesia and Port d’Orleans metro stations. Rooms are not air conditioned, but it was quiet enough outside that the window could be left open all night. The only real downside was hearing all of the noise through the walls from neighboring rooms. The hotel staff was prompt in addressing the issue when we asked.
