Parking was the biggest asset but this is more a hostel not a hotel, bathroom has plastic sinks and cabin is for kids, room really small and not worth money. Dangerous neighbourhood.

This is a no frills place with basic facilities and decor. It’s fine for a work trip. Rooms are small, the bed is right there when you open the door. Clean bathroom and Nuxe hand wash is nice. Hardly any English speaking channels on the TV work, most have no reception. Very friendly Reception staff. Tip: When you get your room, ask if it’s next to a fire exit. Rm 37 is right next to one banging all the time. Message to mgt:paper cups next to kettle have a label saying “contains plastic” – come on Mercure, you need a green policy! The hotel is walking distance to Châtillon Metro

Friendly and good enviorment.

It was really good service, the employee at the reception helped us a lot with anything we needed. The room was okay even though it was kinda small for us, we had a German Shepherd Dog with us but we managed to make ourselves comfortable.
Slightly far from the station but overall a good neighborhood.

Nothing to like about the hotel, I felt unsafe and was only in this hotel for about 20 minuets because I needed to book another hotel. Paid an absurd taxi fare to get to this hotel and it was hard to see as the sign was not lit up at night. Had to be buzzed into the hotel and that Took almost 5 minuets, standing in the cold at night as the front desk staff was not paying attention. Once inside the staff seemed unorganized and took a long time to find our reservation and was unpleasant to deal with. The room was awful, the door could barely open without hitting the bed, It has a funny smell, the bathroom was dirty, and the sheets looked unwashed. Overall I feel this was a complete scam, it was stated as 4 star hotel and felt like a 2 star at best. Very disappointed.

Poorly trained and inadequate staff. It is a small hotel and not the like it appears in the picture. It took for ever to check in. Then confusion on how much money to take and refund. The receptionist could not calculate. Waited for check in for long with others. The reception area is small and cramped. The staff are not well trained.. No way near to a 4 star.

Hotel was amazing, was very clean, staff were very helpful, room was very clean and a good sized room with a very comfy bed, went over valentines weekend and think we were the only ones there so was very quiet, can sit outside and have breakfast which was nice. Only slight downsides were that the air con in the room was very slow so we had to open the window a lot but wasn’t a problem at all, and secondly the road was loud most of the time, but that’s what you get in a city so overall nothing majorly bad at all, planning on coming back!

The In room safe did not work, and we authorized the staff to enter and repair the staff and did not receive any follow up. The room had obvious patch marks from previous water damage, and the cleanliness of the room was less than desirable; we found a toothpick on the floor and it remained there until our departure.

The hotel paid great attention to detail in the lobby and the lobby bathroom, it would have been nice to have the attention to detail be spent on the guest accommodations.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. I travel 100 days a year and this has been a nightmare. The lady at the reception was extremely rude and arrogant. When asked to get the room made up she said we are not slaves. Pity Mercure for giving them their name .

It’s the sort of hotel that’s “OK” for an overnight stay before a meeting: Small and limited. A trek if you wanted to go into central Paris. It’s had a superficial makeover recently, but areas are still tired and aspects need a clean: after a long flight I don’t expect to have to clean air-con units etc before bed. Staff helpful.

My stay was horrible. The toilet didn't not flush property. It took more then five attempts to get it working. We had no running hot water to take a shower or wash our hands with. On top of that the room smelled of mildew and mold. We complain numerous times to change rooms or fix the issues but our request were ignored.And the manger told me he can not do nothing about

Accor hotel brand - wont turn you down. I chose to stay here over 3 nights and everything was good except for some disturbance including noise bed frame (every time you move on bed it makes noises!), shower drain blocked over three nights & shower definitely needing refurbishment. Staffs were nice and location was fairly good with good neighbourhoods

Ideal Zone 2 location in Paris

Nearest Metro station is Chatillon, Line 13. However if you're travelling to Paris by Eurostar it does involve a few changes. Alternatively you can get Line 4 get off the very last stop and it's about a 15min walk.

My only criticism is that the room we stayed in was on the small size considering it was a double room.

There is a supermarket next door if your prefer to have snacks in your room and plenty of eateries and restaurants very close by.

We found this area to be very safe even coming back on the metro late at night from central Paris which takes about 20mins on the Metro.

Metro tickets are the same price regardless if you're in zone 1 or 2.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with many options. Low ratings are for the quality of the shower. It was old, clogged, and awkward to stand in. Also, the room service options were limited and when I ordered the pork filet, it was served cold in the middle and with way too much mustard. Other than those issues, I was happy with the hotel.

The hotel is approximately 15 minutes walk from the metro stations, with variety of restaurants and local shops nearby. For the price, the hotel is modernised, with comfortable air conditioned rooms, excellent buffet breakfast and very helpful staff. Definitely, highly recommended, provided you allow for metro travel time to and from the centre.

One of the front desk workers was good at her job. Great in fact! But they were all very overworked. In my first room the shower head was broken and in my second, the phone. The linen was very clean. I ended up staying multiple days with an injury (I hurt my leg walking El Camino de Santiago) and didn't change hotels because of my leg, the fact that for $3 extra euros I could partake of the buffet breakfast and the hotel is a good value.

Hidden Gem for the Budget Minded

Compared to what I spent on other hotel while in Europe, this hotel was a dream. The room had a comfortable bed and a nice shower. The room also included a flat screen tv which I never used. Plenty of plugs for charging devices etc. Despite being a bit out of the way (15 min to the nearest metro station) it was well worth it. I would definitely stay here again and would consider staying at other hotels in chain because of my stay. Simply great value.

The staff are all helpful and didn't mind go the extra to help out, eg. to find tourist info and lending me their adaptors. They are also English-speaking and friendly. The staff who checked me in gave a surprise by putting in a privilège room with a balcony and a selection of complementary beverages. the neighbour is sound and quiet. The location is not the most ideal if you want to get to the central by walking distance but buses and metro is near / within walking distance.

Nice hotel for a great price. It was clean and had air conditioning, but make sure the AC works when you get a room. Our first room didn't have AC that worked, but they moved us to a room with working AC. It was a far walk to the metro station I would say around 10 minutes plus. Not much open around the hotel besides a convenient store. Good hotel for the price!

This is a budget hotel. There is nothing wrong with it, but the room is very small. If you do not plan to spen much time in th eroom, then it is ok. The Internet/wifi worked fine. The place is quite removed from the tourist attractions; that is why it is inexpensive, but there is a Metro station about 10-15 walk through a very solitary neighborhood. At first you may be scared of the neighborhood, but we did not see any dangers.

Hotel was nice, but the wifi was terrible. Our shower didn't drain so we could only take quick showers. Neighborhood was alright, a little far from the city, we walked to first day which took is 40 minutes and the metro takes 10 but it's a 15 minute walk to the closest station. Good price though!!

Small but charming

It is a handy distance from Porte de Versailles exhibition halls. I was there for a work trip, so the proximity of the hotel was good. It is a small hotel, but charming with it. You could almost miss the entrance if it wasn't for the large Best Western sign. The African inspired lounge and breakfast room is actually a pleasant place to be. The hotel manager is a wonderfully kind and personal person. Nothing was too much, even when we arrived stupidly early in the morning from a 'red-eye' flight into paris. The rooms are ok, they have everything you need, they are just not very big. But, they are clean and serviced every day. It is certainly on a par with some more expensive chains on the main boulevard at PdV. The area of Malakoff is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Paris. It is a mix of old school middle class and professional singletons. There are restaurants and bistros near by, however I didn't eat in them, but there is a high proportion of Japanese and Asian cuisine locally. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, especially at the rates Hotels.com/Expedia charge. They work out very good value indeed.

Small room, 1 hour walk to Notre Dame, Louvre, etc

The room was TINY. A double room was 2 twin beds (although comfortable) but they touched all the walls. There was a sliding glass door, but the handle was removed and you could not open it to get any air. No airconditioning!! Even though it was about 50 degrees F outside, it was HOT in the room (and I'm a girl and always cold). The bathroom was surprisingly big compared to the room. Clean, internet worked fairly well. The neighborhood is ok. We walked and biked around the city which was great!! Biking you are within 20 minutes of everything and its FREE. Did not eat at the hotel because there is a grocery next door and much cheaper. We got bowls and spoons from the check out counter. Elevator is tiny. You can here everyone in all the rooms if you stand in the hallway!

Poor reception on arrival and throughout the stay. Corridors stank of what I can only describe as sweaty socks. Room was very small and basic. There was no water in the building on the last day. Could not shave, shower or use the toilet. This may have been outside the hotels control, however no explanation was given, No bottles of water were offered. They could not care less and this was my general impression during the whole stay. Best Western should be ashamed. I have never wrote a significant review before, but felt compelled to do so this time.

Disappointing Facility

I thought staying at a Best Western would be worth it instead of a hostel, and would give me a little comfort of American life as I travel my way through Europe... nope! This hotel is a 20 minute metro ride to get to any significant landmarks that Americans would want to see (Champs Elysee, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph). In a sort of sketchy, very quiet neighborhood (it is the last stop on the 13 line) and about a 10 minute walk from the metro. In the two days that I stayed here, my room key de-magnetized 3 times. They never told me what time breakfast is done at (10:30 am FYI) and I went down there at 10:45 to get some toast and the cleaning woman started yelling at me in french. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, I would have rather stayed in a hostel with my own room somewhere closer to the city where its a little more livelier.

This hotel is ok, You cannot expect a large room for such a cheaper price. I should say it is a OK budget hotel. Outside of Paris but the public transport connections to Paris are reasonable. Staffs are friendly but didn't solve couple of the issue I had during the stay. I asked them to fix the kettle but they didn't bother to fix it. Great staff, good choice in the suburbs

The staff were extremely nice and efficient. My room (a double) was quite big and very comfortable, my only issue was with the bed which proved too soft so on the second night I had trouble sleeping on it, a first for me - however, this might depend on the guest, maybe some people would find it very comfortable.

My 'ok' rating for the condition of the hotel is based on the fact that twice, my room blew a fuse so one side of the room had no electricity (TV, hair dryer and a lamp). I have no idea why this happened and it was fixed very quickly, but still annoying. Apart from that, the hotel was modern, clean and convenient.

The hotel is located in a nice suburb but is still within the Metro system and an easy distance from the centre. As far as value for money goes and location vs price, I'm very happy with my choice and I would definitely consider staying there again.

Easter romantic weekend in Paris

Great hotel with very interestin ethnic interiors. Very pleasant and so helpful receptionists! Close to metro station. Nice bar open 24h - superb experience.
