I can’t say enough about this hotel. It was clean. Staff were super nice. Very helpful. Being predominantly English speaking, it was a smooth interaction with the staff. Perfect location away from the tourists. Convient to the metro that takes you into the heart of Paris. I will definitely stay here again. 5 stars.

My spouse and I stayed at Séjours & Affaires Malakoff for three nights. It was a perfect location with easy access to public transit, including the subway. The centre of Paris is only minutes away, without the nosebleed prices in the heart of Paris. We didn't feel like the location was a compromise and having previously stayed in the heart of Paris on many occasions truly enjoyed the community vibe of Malakoff. As for the hotel itself, it's a mixed bag. On the positive side, staff at the hotel were friendly and very accommodating. Our room had the most comfortable bed; I've stayed in many hotels and for me this was near the top in comfort. The room had a great balcony as well, spacious and inviting where we could sit back and truly enjoy a glass of wine away from the tight surroundings of the room. On the downside, the hotel room was a bit tired, very basic and in definite need of a refresh. It had a bit of a dorm room feel. Although we had a small kitchen area, it wasn't particularly well equipped. Most notable, on our first night there we picked up a bottle of wine, and it being France, was corked. It being France I assumed the room, equipped with a kitchen and wine glasses, would also have a corkscrew. Nope. I went to the front desk which could also not provide me with a corkscrew, nor was one available in the breakfast room. No option left but to go out and buy one. Although the staff was sincerely apologetic, this is more of a management issue in my mind.

The hotel was in a great location, just 2 minutes walk to the nearest bus stop and after 10 minutes we reached the metro line 4 and got to visit so many places with the unlimited travel pass.
Clean hotel, nice staff, 24hours entry with your card/key.

8-night stay superb!

We had a lovely stay! The studio was a little small but clean and really had everything my friend and I needed! The beds could be together for a couple or separated into 2 twins. The buffet style breakfast and unlimited coffee was organic and very affordable at 10 euros! One of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had! They even gave us a welcome gift with pasta and sauce, cookies, chips, cider. Staff was friendly and helpful and the Aldi nearby had cheap groceries & wine!! Would definitely stay again!

We're very tired after this holiday.

Oh well, you get what you pay for.

We couldn't sleep well, very noisy place. Cleaning service was banging the door non stop, also the customers. The noise was coming from outside when was windy, you could hear banging something, not sure what, some metal piece I guess, even at 3am. So loud. Last morning we could hear some renovation upstairs from 9am until 12,so annoying!!!!! Noise at night, noise in the morning.
The good thing was heating in the bathroom and cheap price. The heating in the room didn't work properly. The shower curtain was not wide enough so we had to clean wet floor non stop.
Cleaning is not provided, no toilet brush provided... No fresh towels.
I was happy to leave this place. We won't be back even for free.
The ladies at the reception were nice.

Decent place where to stay in Malakoff

Great for a short stay. Small fairly well-equipped kitchen. Quiet street and very decent breakfast. Front desk people were very nice. However the other staff (breakfast people) seem to not be able to smile and don’t give the impression they like their job. Two blocks away from an Intermarché supermarket and close to restaurants and stores.

Daily Hike To My 4th Floor Room

Nightmare, the elevator was not working so we had to walk up 8 flights of stairs to get to our room on 4th floor. Im 77 yrs old and this was challenging. We only had half roll of tissue paper in room and went through hell to get more. Room service one time would have been okay but server did not empty waste cans, left no face towels and no dishwashing packet. We thought breakfast was included bur it was not. We paid 18 euros for two breakfast.

Its really a wonderful and safely secured place to stay. The ladies at the reception desk were especially helpful and accomodating. I give them a 10

Nice neighborhood with a short walk to a metro station to downtown Paris. Outside the tourist zone. Interesting restaurants and yet close to Paris. Highly recommended. The place is clean eco friendly. A drinking fountain would make it even better becauae we had to buy our own water in bottles. But o erall very clean and convenient little studio-like apartme ts with a small kitchen and fridge.

No frill good accommodation

We had to change our hotel reservation at the last minute, so could not find any hotel closer than this to the Paris Expo site (a 25 minute walk). From the hotel it is a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station. Two hours from CDG airport by public transport with transfers, or one hour plus 90 Euros by Uber. Other than transportation issues it is a very nice though simple apartment hotel. Reception staff is very friendly and helpful. You go through 5 security doors before reaching your own room. We had a quiet little 5th floor balcony overlooking the residential neighborhood. There are a few family type restaurants nearby, nothing fancy.

The room itself was small, but it was OK for the Paris region. However, the room smelled cigarette even when we came in, and we were never offered to change rooms. Even with the window opened, it still smelled for the whole 3 night stay. We were not able to get rid of it. NO Air conditioning as well, so be careful if it is hot outside, as it was this summer. OK hotel, but nothing fancy.

Smelly hotel that charges for extra towels

When we got to the hotel we immediately noticed the smell, it was a mix of BO and vinegar and it wasnt pleasing. The hotel was small as expected but it was way more run down than in the pictures, the people at the front desk were nice but when we needed a clean set of towels we had to pay 7 euros for clean ones bc we weren’t there for 8 days. Would not recommend to a friend

We experienced a bit of an issue with the hot water and the lock on the room door upon arrival. However, they were prompt at sending a maintenance guy to resolve the issue. Other than that we had no issues. They responded to our questions when in need. The location was very convenient to our points of interest. Will surely stay there again during the next visit.

hotel is very nice but they don't have AC broke during our time was vey hot. i asked them to please fix the AC but they didn't fix it.. other thing that they gave me a pin number for door open from front and back. but they didn't information me about change pin on Monday. i can't imagine that we will be stuck outside during night time because they didn't inform us a new pin change. so most of time hotel was clean and quiet and peace,

Great apartment for peaceful stay in Paris

We travelled here as a couple after having already spent some time in Paris in a different area. We found the hotel's location in Malakoff and the metro line extremely easy to navigate into the city centre, and we loved coming back to a quieter, safe neighbourhood of a nighttime. The staff were very friendly, the facilities modern and clean, and we really enjoyed having our own place to unwind and cook (there are several supermarkets in the area) at the end of a long day. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

Love it! Great location.

This hotel doesn't look like much on the outside, but the staff, and the room were awesome.
It's not in the middle of Paris, but just enough outside of the crazy tourist areas to be relaxing.
There is a InterMarche close by so you can do some shopping and save money by preparing your own meals. Each room has a small kitchen with supplied dishes, so it's easy to make a quick breakfast before heading out the door in the morning. There are two Metro stations within walking distance, and an open Market that has all the fresh flowers, meat, cheese, and bread you can would want.

No frills, convenient and good value

The hotel is 10 minute walk of a Metro stop (13 line). It's also 15 minute walk to a Metro stop (4 line). We rented a car for 4 out of 7 days in France, and because of its location, we found street parking pretty easily for free. For 3.5 days we spent in Paris, the Metro stop access made it easier for us to roam around. If you're used to the major city subways like we were, this is not bad--for us, the ride back and from our hotel was a time to reflect on our day and relax. The hotel is clean and more spacious than 2-star hotels--the staff is nice. You just can't beat value that this hotel offers--we also enjoyed the local bakery and markets where we feasted on their pastries, wine and other beverages.

Second trip to this hotel

This was my second trip to paris. Stayed here the first time and had great service. The hotel staff were so great that I had no hesitation in staying there for my next trip which I have only just come back from. The staff on the reception very very helpfull and nothing was too much trouble for them, actualy lost our room key twice and they instantly just coded another one for us. Even ordered our taxi for us when we left. would like to say a special thank you too Stefani and maria who were very freindly and even helped us to learn french whilst we were there. Would not realy want to stay any were else in paris and if we visited again which we do plan to do then this place is worth travelling too. Thank you to every one who made our stay in Paris a real treat.

Quaint & Clean Apartment-Style Hotel

We stayed at this establishment for 2 nights and it was great! The room was of a decent size and had nice, big patio doors/windows to let in lots of natural light. The room was fully equipped with a mini kitchen, including cutlery, plates, pots, kettle, glasses, bowls, etc., which allowed us to make our own meals at night! The bathroom was on the small side, but did the trick. The staff was friendly and provided us with a luggage room to store our bags before our room was available. Although it is slightly out of the way, you can't beat the service and accommodations offered at their prices. The hotel is about a 7-10 minute walk from the metro station, so it was very easy to get downtown paris if you had a metro pass or city pass - i definitely recommend that you get one, very useful and saves you money AND time getting around all the sights in Paris! Overall, we both had a great stay!

No Hot water at room

No hot water after 11am and midnight , we need to wait until 6am to take shower . ## Very poor ##
We asked receptionist about the hot water issue and requested to change room, he said the boiler may have problem and the rooms were full booked, they will fix the heater tomorrow morning. We stayed 4 nights and It happen every night . The integrity of this hotel really has problem .

ok hotel clean,handy for metro in a decent area. hotel cant really be held responsible for noisy and inconsiderate guests who preferred socialising on the stairwells of the hotel rather than in paris itself but are responsible for acting once a complaint is made,so on that score the hotel and its staff failed miserably.that said it wouldnt make me put anyone off the hotel as maybe we were just unfortunate and everything else was fine,but i wouldnt recommend it either.

I would highly recommend this hotel. First of all the location, it is right near the centre of Malakoff and only an hours walk away from either the Notre Dame or the Eiffel tower. There are several super makets only 5-10 minutes away. On the way to the Notre Dame taking the most direct route down the main roads there are many big branded named shops such as Next and Starbucks. As you get into the centre of Paris the prices generally rise quite highly however just an hour away near the hotel area in Malakoff the prices are highly better. There are several cafes near the hotel along with an amazing bakery just next door. On to the hotel itself. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite saying hi whenever we walked in and out. There was a broken toilet seat upon arrival, we told the staff about this problem pronto and went for a wonder, once we got back it was fixed, so extremely helpful. The hotel room itself was a nice size accomodating anything you may need for self catering, with electric hobs a fridge freezer, kettle, cupboards, a microwave oven and all the china and cutlery. The wifi was a great point as it was free, the t.v. Worked perfect. The room was clean upon arrival. All in all I can't fault the hotel for the price. Really shouldn't be a two star hotel.

Good alternative to staying in Paris

This hotel is not in Paris but in Malakoff, a suburban town just outside of Paris. Personally I like the location. It's a decent area with a metro station (10-minute walk away) that takes you to Champs-Elysee in 20 minutes. But if you prefer to stay in the middle of the action, you'd find this location undesirable.

Friendly front desk staff, no problem there. The room and the bathroom (shower) are small. I like the handy kitchenette. The sofa bed was alright for me, but hubby complained about the mattress being uncomfortable. No AC in the room. Overall it was clean at first sight, but upon closer inspection, two of the towels were marked, some dust around the sofa bed frame, and the shower drained very slowly.

Didn't try the hotel breakfast. The patisserie next door was convenient and tasty.

2nd time at Séjours in Malakoff. It's still a great budget option for Paris. It was extremely hot (around 33 degrees in Paris) and was just about bearable in the room (no air-con). Having a fridge and cooking facilities is extremely useful. Will go again.

Lovely experience

Travelled as a couple at the end of July. Superb location: although it is quite far from the main attractions, it is relatively close to 2 metro stations and very close to an Intermarche supermarket. Not to mention all the bars, brasseries and pastry shops. Lovely conditions, everything was ridiculously clean and tidy. Staff was always there to help: friendly and open-minded (they even let me use their printer once). The only downside to it was the somewhat malfunctioning AC fan/ventilation unit. It kept pumping slightly cold air into the room, even though it was not necessary and that was a bit uncomfortable at times. Not to mention the strange noise it made during some of the nights. But overall, it was bearable. We regarded it as small nuisance. Apart from this, the hotel clearly has a high standard of service, and it certainly lives up to it.

Nice location, but a decent walk to the metro.

This hotel was nice. The fact that it had a refrigerator, microwave, and sink made it easy to save on food. The neighborhood felt safe. But it was about a ten minute walk to the metro station, but once you were on the train, it was about a 10-15 minute ride to the center of the city. The staff was nice (they let me drop my bag off so I wouldn't have to carry it around until I checked in), and helpful. Although, I don't recall find anyway to cool the room. The air-conditioning for the room was opening the room at night. This was frustrating for me because I have bad allergies. There was also no sleeper-sofa as indicated in my booking. Overall, a good place to stay.

Quite handy to everywhere in Paris

We really like this studio apartments hotels, it is 10 mints walk to the closes train station, it is 15 mints by Metro to the any attraction in the city centre of Paris, and located in a quiet and clean area. This is my third time in Paris and I would definitely recommend and would come back to here again. The hotel has stores and supermarkets around so you can save money instead of eating outside and prepare your breakfast or snacks in the hotel.

It is a really Good and cheap hotel! Location is not really Central but the Metro is very close.
The area was nice and quiet. Lovely little Shops and bakeries around.
The hotel was really nice and clean. Bed was confortable! The stuff was very friendly.
And the price was reaally really good for a studio room! 50 pounds /night :)

I stayed at \"Séjours et Affaires Paris Malakoff\" with my girlfriend. While it might not be the best situated hotel, the room, surrounding area and value of money made the stay very satiesfying. The room itself was very nice, new and fresh, had a little kitchen and the bed was very comfy. I like that the area didnt feel touristy, instead it felt like an area were the locals live. Very cozy, lots of shops, a great market, bars, cinema etc. At the same time the area felt very safe, even nighttime.

Comfortable but very small rooms, with not many amenities

The rooms are very small and the service is minimal. The location is not great and a 10 min walk from subway. Biggest concern we had was that there was no air conditioning in the room, esp in summer it could be a pain.

Bit far from the centre

The Hotel is bit far from the centre. But rest of the things are fine. Close to Metro. Cleaning was good. No smelly. Kitchen was there.

Hotel in a quiet neighbourhood

Clean and tidy hotel with polite staff. Only minus point is the distance between metro (about 10 minutes walk).

Overall a good experience. Recommended for people who is travelling light!

Be a traveler not a tourist....stay here.

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights in November 2010. I thought the hotel was a bargain. I would say it’s located in a residential area and includes a stove, microwave and refrigerator. We liked we could keep breakfast food and snacks cold or warm a late snack. The room is very small and has a sofa bed. We spent little time in the room so really not such an issue. It is pretty close to the Metro and plenty of places to eat and shop during normal hours. I would stay here again.

More detail should you want to stay here……
We flew over from London and found this hotel is at the complete opposite side of the city from Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is almost at the end of Line 13 but easy to get to never-the-less. We arrived late to the area on a Thursday evening. While there were limited stores open at this hour we found a café to eat a late hot meal and an open market near the hotel. We arrived to a late night check in machine similar to a cash machine. Use your last name if you book on Hotels.com for this machine. It will dispense a key card and door code. Some doors open easy others enter the code and pull at the same time. Just keep at it you will get in. This was a new experience for us. There is no one available after hours to help with check in. It is safe as you have to use a code to open 4 doors before you even get to your room.
Should you look up the location on Google maps it is INCORRECT!! This was our biggest problem getting to the hotel. From the Metro station Malakoff Plateau de Vanves cross the street and head down Rue Eugene Varlin. This curves into Rue Beranger. Along this street you will see a square where the Friday (when we were there…not every day) outdoor and indoor markets take place. Continue to Rue Salvador Allende and turn right and walk to Boulevard Gabriel Peri. There is a nice friendly local market open late on the corner. To the right across the street and 30-40 yards down you should see the hotel. The street numbers are a mess and each side of the street is very different. As I write this Google Maps shows the hotel under construction from the street view. The area I considered safe and we usually returned between 23:00 and 1:00 hr.
I would say this hotel is off the normal tourist path. I felt very local walking these streets. People were friendly and I felt they did not see ‘tourists’ every day here. It is not so far by Metro from any of the normal tourist activities or sites. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good value if you want a lot for little money

Nice hotel. A little small but sufficent. Kitchenette was useful. Would reccommend to those on a budget looking to save money by cooking their own meals.

Great place to stay - in walking distance of the metro, on the bus-routes and in a nice environment.
Arrived quite late and the after hours check-in was a breeze.

Would gladly stay there again should I need short-term lettings for a short holiday!

close to paris.. that's about it.

a bare minimum hotel.. sub-par in most respects but good in terms of motivating one to get out and see paris. good for business travel, I imagine. very close to the 14th district and alesia tube station.
immediate area is fairly sparse.. taxi's are often hard to hail.

front desk was friendly and helpful initially; until we asked for more clean towels which never showed up. apparently, they only replenish towels and toiletries once a week!!!
totally unacceptable.
\"cleaning lady\" was rude as well when I attempted to get fresh coffee from the cafeteria that never actually seemed to be open.

all and all, just basic.. not great at all.

This is not a hotel. It's more like an apt for tourists but it has free wi-fi service, fully furnished kitchen, plates, etc.
The receptionist closed the desk at night but we had no problem at all.
The rooms are nice and quite.
The only problem we had was the location of this hotel. Paris has a great metro system so we used metro all the time during the visit, but it takes about 15-20 min walking to the station from the hotel. Yet, once you get in, every tourist place is nearby.
This hotel is in residential area so I don't think it's that dangerous to walk around at night but it is still pretty far.
About 10 min away from the hotel, there's a bus stop as well but using the metro is the smart idea.

The hotel Séjours et Affaires Paris Malakoff-

This place is wonderful, amazing security, rooms are spacious. Bed is better than home. Very clean room and you can check in as late as you want. The furniture is fancy and is great for two guests. I liked the fridge and stove that were available, also silverware and cupboard, closet. The sign for the hotel is a bit hard to see but well worth your visit, be sure to get the phone number for this place so that you can get the exact location before arrival, that was a hassle.

Very practical and clean

Very well designed rooms with practical facililities especially when accompanied by children. Ealely accessible and provided us with a very comfortable stay.

Sejours et Affaires has definitely become our hotel of choice when visiting France

Udemærket værelse taget prisen i betragtning. Ikke ulækkert, men heller ikke lækkert. Værelset var lille, men havde køkken. Ingen aircondition, men havde en gulvblæser. Ligger i en forstad til Paris og nærmeste metro er 20 minutters gang og det tager 30 minutter med offentlig transport at komme til Paris Expo og 35 minutter at gå. Parkeringsmulighederne var gode.

Cours intérieur très pratique pour prendre l’air sans sortir sur la route.
