DO NOT COME HERE! If you are planning on visiting Florence bite the bullet and pay to stay closer. The rooms were dirty with hair and stains on the beds. The staff was not helpful at all. There was also used floss in the bathroom. Send help.

The accommodation was nice, but checking in/speaking to reception took ages because of a lack of staff. It took 2 requests to get an extra pillow because they only provided 3 pillows for the two of us. The main issue, though, was the wifi. It didn't work on my laptop, even when I created a new account with a different email address. It kept telling me to reset my password to access the internet, even after I just had. I emailed support about it and didn't hear back.

The apartments are tiny but really well planned, but no tv. Ikea would be proud. Great price for what you get. It was unusually warm when we went and unfortunately the pool still shut for winter as planned which was a shame but understandable. Clean, great on site staff and shop. Lovely pub too. The bus to get into Florence can get very crowded, think London Underground with very rude mannered people, but we survived. Our son was in a wheelchair but we managed. Everyday someone tried to push in front of the chair and everyday someone left the bus with a badly grazed ankle ;-)

What a fun way to stay! Glamping tent is very clean, roomy, and in like-new condition. Maybe a bit cold for winter, but has heating. The tent material makes vibrations on a windy night. Has supermarket within campus (good price!) but closes early at 8pm. Restaurant/bar is exceptional. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Bus route 14 to central Florence is immediately outside the gate, takes 30+ minutes, and is seldom on schedule. Otherwise, walk 10 minutes to nearby train station and take 10 minutes train to Florence station.

This was honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Even though it’s located outside the city, it’s very easy to reach. The property is huge and well-organized, suitable for different types of travelers — whether you arrive by car, camper van, or just as regular guests like us. Each accommodation is a separate little house on its own street, which makes the place feel private and peaceful. Inside, everything is spotless and smartly arranged, with plenty of space. The shower is fully made of stone, spacious and comfortable to use, and both the shower and the toilet have small windows for ventilation. The toilet is separate from the shower, which is very convenient. Between them, there’s a large sink with a big mirror and a built-in hairdryer — a bit weak, but perfectly fine. The main room has a comfortable large bed, and all windows and doors have curtains, so the light doesn’t disturb sleep. It was a bit chilly during our stay, but the air conditioner worked great for heating the room. We had a minor issue with it halfway through our trip, but the maintenance team came very quickly and fixed everything. The room also had a fridge, which was very useful. The entire property includes swimming pools, a shop, and a separate bar — everything you might need was right there. The place is spacious, bright, clean, and incredibly comfortable. We were truly impressed and absolutely loved our stay.

This was such a cool experience, and our chalet/bungalow/room was perfect for our family. It was clean, and we loved being in a community of campers. The bus line is great for tourists. My daughter made friends in the play area. Definitely would recommend and would stay here again.

One bike lock was impossible to use key was not easy to get out and to put in. Mentioned when returning bike and got brushed off. Laundry room, it's open 24 hours, but the machines not available between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Signage was extremely minimal, ended up having to leave wet clothes overnight before drying first thing the next morning. AC in the room worked minimally and didn't circulate or dehumidify the air at all. Need extra towels. Cleaning more than once every 14 days is an extra charge. Mattresses are very hard. Didn't receive info upfront that the key card needed to be inserted into the AC control to operate it and to access the lights and TV in the room. Onsite dining was okay, but very limited and overpriced. Despite requesting two beds, only one was set up prior to arrival. When I asked for extra sheets to use on the extra cushion in the room staff gave me attitude until I threatened to cancel and get a different hotel. Room was in a very awkward and hard to find location and parking near it was problematic. Bathroom isn't separate from the main room.

Shower was roomy, plenty of hot water, however there was no place to set a bar of soap or bottle of shampoo inside it.

This place was amazing. We stayed one night but wanted to stay longer. The pools are great and family friendly. Clean tent rooms. Only issue is that it is about a hour and a half walk from the city and 30 minute bus ride. Buses get full fast so you have to wait. There’s a really good cafe and dinner place right in front of the resort that is very accommodating and gets full. Not a lot of other options for food than that.

This place is outside of Florence but easy transportation options and short drive to Florence , the facilities were super clean and the staff very professional and kind.
They have washing and dryers but expensive we paid like 28 Euros for 1 load of clothes we have todo it again because it did not rinse our clothes. :(. Different from that the place has a convenient store, restaurant, a bus station across the street from the property.

Beautiful Florence Glamping

After staying at the Hu campground in Rome, we took a train up to Florence. I’m so glad we booked with Hu and we wished it had been an option in Rapallo! We stayed in a bungalow which was perfect for the two of us. The grounds and surrounding area were gorgeous. Access to multiple pools, a restaurant and market were huge perks! Additionally, there is a bus stop right out front that takes you straight into town. If I find myself in Florence again (and I hope I do) I would definitely stay here again!

The resort itself was very nice. We stayed in a chalet for 3 people which was very clean. We had a queen & twin bed. Unfortunately, the mattresses were the worst I’ve ever slept on and literally made our bodies ache. The shower provided zero privacy due to having a glass door, making it difficult for the 3 of us to get ready each day. It would be great if a rod was installed from the shower wall to the opposite wall so a curtain can be hung to close off the shower, toilet, and sink area from the rest of the room. It was nice staying outside the city where it was peaceful and quiet, however, the bus schedule was extremely unpredictable with long waits and usually standing room only. We had dinner at the restaurant on site and the food was just ok. The washers and dryers were good sized and the pools were a fantastic way to cool off and relax after sightseeing all day. There were lots of places to grab a lounge chair. Would’ve loved to try their frozen daiquiri or piña colada from the pool bar but the frozen drink machine was broken while we were there.

HU was great. Florence is a beautiful but it is a zoo. It was nice to stay at HU away from the crowds. We drove from Sienna and were able to check in early. Our cabin was lovely. The pizza at the restaurant was some of the best we had in Italy. The 14 bus (14A on the ride back) was only a 20 min. ride. My kids loved the pools way more than the Uffizi. Wish we had more time to lounge by the pools. It was nice to see how Europeans vacation.

Great place to stay with children in Florence. Cabins are comfortable with air con and parking is right outside. The swimming pools offer a chance to cool off and relax after a day of sight-seeing, which is easily accessible by local bus from right outside the holiday camp. Breakfasts offer good selection and a pleasant, relaxed dining area. The same place offers evening meals and a well stocked bar. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable short stay which didn't feel like it was on the outskirts of such a major city. We would defintely stay there again.

I went into this with low expectations, and I was completely blown away by how much I enjoyed staying here. The number of amenities you get while staying here is unmatched. We had a market to shop at, a restaurant, pools, laundry, parking, and a shuttle service. The AC here was immaculate, so if you're coming to Florence in the blazing heat, this place needs to be on your list to visit!

Would absolutely go back! Had a fantastic 9 nights away, convenient for the bus into Florence! Beds were firm and really comfy. Food was fantastic and very reasonable. Breakfast was good, we only had it on the first morning for convenience. The choice of pools was brilliant, all clean, just a little cold!! The only thing I think could be improved is the wrist bands! If you stay for longer than a couple of days, the bands don’t last due to suncream use, as a family of 4 we went through at least 3 each over 9 nights. Didn’t feel very eco friendly. Other than that, perfect!

If you’re camping then this place is great. Keep in mind that you will be paying a city tax when you check in.

The hut you stay at is outdoors and an individual unit, so it’s prone to ants or other bugs entering. The washroom and shower is quite small and rely on an open window instead of having an exhaust fan.

Be careful about the laundry, the dryer couldn’t dry my clothes after two runs. The laundry is pay per use of course.

The staff are super friendly and cool though, they really make the experience worth it. There’s an info point where you can get a taxi, or ask about how to get around or what to do in Florence. Also a market and restaurant which provide you with a good deal of stuff at a great price if you need.

If you’re camping this place is perfect. If you’re a tourist then there may be more clean options but it’s still a great price.

Thr urban safari tent was very well maintained. The site itself has a laundrette, restaurant, 3 popls, a pool bar, cycle hire and excursions available if tou havent prebooked they can facilitate day trips for you.
The forst night we got there we dined at the on site restaurant which was fairly good . The entertainment that night was a wonderful italian songer that also covered english songs too, he clearly lives what he does and fot many people danicing .
The on site shop has plenty of options available, and also has microwaveable food available which you can heat in their microwave.
We tried thr risotto, meatballs and cous cous all of which were pretty palateable.
You do pay a little over the odds for certain items but you pay for convenience.
To get in and out if town we used the train which is about a 8 minute walk from the site , the machine is in thr underpass and tou can validate tickets on the platform, validation is edsential in italy prior to boarding else you couod receive a dine for not doing so.
We also used thr number 14 bus which again needs tickets validating , but you can do this onboard. You can buy tickets for this from a tobacconist close to the train station.

Getting to Florence was a bit of a nightmare. There is no shuttle from the campsite even though it states that there is on their website and on the information leaflet we received on arrival. The campsite states that it is minutes from Florence. It is. Many, many minutes (about 35) on the public bus which is hot, overcrowded and unreliable. I would not have booked this campsite had I known how uncomfortable the daily journey to and from Florence would be. Also, you must buy a ticket before you get on to the bus. We didn’t know this on our journey from the train station and were fined. There were ticket inspectors on about half of the buses we took and they fined tourists on every journey we saw them on. This was not the fault of the campsite but if they had included that information on their website in the section about how to get there that would have been extremely helpful.

The campsite itself is fairly basic which is ok if you are not staying long and are spending the day in Florence but once you arrive back in the evening the only place to eat is the restaurant. If you don’t have a car there is nowhere else close by. We didn’t cook as we were only staying for 4 nights and we stayed later in Florence and ate there for a couple of those nights.

Not a great experience - wouldn’t recommend.

The hotel was an exciting experience with a lot of resources provided on the grounds. There was a pool, playground, grocery store, laundrymat, and information center, which we initially missed. I do wish when we checked in the employee told us about the bus stops right outside the lot, which was nice to use after we found it. :) We also ran out of toilet paper, so I wish we had been provided an extra roll. Also, I wish we hadbt of had to pay to store our luggage from check-out until our train. The staff was helpful when we approached them. And overall, it was a good stay.

So fun! It was my wife, 2x kids (9 & 11) and I in the cabin/pod and it was very comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast at the cafe, rented bikes to ride into downtown Florence ( 20min), ride back for some pool time and change for dinner, and then ride to a restaurant of your choosing. It was a perfect change of pace from the other places we visited. Would 100% stay in the place again. This community is of course all tourists, but sorry to say nearly 60% of the city was tourists… insane busy.

Staff were great on reception. Property was neat and tidy and the park was all very clean and well maintained. Everything on site cost extra and a lot. For example half a loo roll provided and they wouldn’t replace and it cost €8 in their shop. Location was good just out of city and there is a bus stop right outside. Not properties fault of course, but buses very irregular so a lot of time spent waiting around for one to show up. Lovely walk into city along river though and took around 1hr.

Great for families, my kids loved it. Bus to centro in front the property. Market in the property with everything you need, everybody from front desk were speaking English. Swimming pool, playground. We definitely will stay there again.

This little gym is several miles outside Florence. Clean rooms comfortable beds.They had a good restaurant on site, as well as laundry, mini- store.

The Campground was a nice place to stay just a short bus ride into the centre of Florence. We chose the flaming tent which was cute. However they do lot provide a lot of linens and our heater/ac stopped working the second night. We were lucky enough to get moved into another that was working. It seemed to be an issue as I was told at the front desk that they don’t control them and aren’t sure which are working or not… Also on the add it states the pool was open in April and it was not we were told not the beginning of May… The pools were full and the everything was set out. To some tourists it’s not cold at 21 and woulda loved a relaxing seat beside the pool. Otherwise it’s cheap and worth the stay.

Nice and quiet location, a bit far from downtown (30 minutes by bus if it comes on time, there is a bus stop right across the street) and with limited ammenities in the area. The market (grocery store) only opens from 8am to noon and then from 4 to 8pm, so it was closed when we returned to the campground but on 1 occasion when we didn't leave the campground until after 8am, we found that it had a very good selection of grocery. The Superior Chalet we stayed had 2 bedrooms and bathroom in each room, definitely cut down on the time we needed for everyone to rise and shine in the morning. The kitchen was equipped with stove, fridge and microwave oven, very convenient. The bedrooms were a bit tight though, it was literally filled up the the bed and left no space for lugguage. Our unit was a bit far from the office and I couldn't connect to Wifi at all. One parking spot right in front of the chalet, there are more parking spaces in other area of the campground.

It was a clean and comfortable chalet. It has fridge and frizer and.hob and microwave but there is no kettle .
