Overall Impression: The only redeeming qualities of this hotel are it’s the location and the friendly staff. Unfortunately, the positives are completely overshadowed by the utterly unacceptable condition and lack of basic amenities for a room costing $260 per night. This property is dramatically overpriced and fails to meet even basic hospitality standards.
Major Issues (The Value Disconnect):
•Maintenance & Cleanliness: The hotel is clearly very old and poorly maintained. The room lacked essential cleaning standards; there was no change of bed sheets during my three-day stay, and towels were only changed once.
•Room Deficiencies: There were absolutely no basic amenities in the room, and no spare blankets were provided. The room felt incomplete and neglected.
•The shower door was not working well, and the toilet seat was broken
•Infrastructure: There is no elevator, which made luggage transport difficult.
•Pest Control: I experienced a notable issue with mosquitoes in the room.
•At this price, the breakfast needs to be of higher quality with greater variety.
Conclusion: While the staff were genuinely nice, and the location is OK, the hotel's state of disrepair, lack of cleanliness, and deficient room amenities make the $260 cost per night an absolute waste of money. I strongly recommend travelers look for other options nearby that offer better value and basic comfort.

In terms of location, it was a 20-30 minute walk from all the main touristy spots with bus stops available within a 5-10 minute walk. Not too many dining options around the area and no local shop either which was not an issue for me personally.
The reception staff was very friendly and the breakfast options were standard (cereal, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yoghurt, fruit and pastires).
There was no lift in the building with quite a steep incline of the stairs to get to the second floor. The room main doors were also very heavy and quite hard to open as was the wardrobe door. Not an issue for me but could be an issue for indivuduals with mobility issues.
The room itself was standard although old fashioned with very little decor. The bed lamp didn't even have a lamp shade, just a bare lightbulb. The bathroom was tiny, and water pressure was dissapointing. My room was also ridden with mosquitoes which made my first night impossible to sleep through.
All in all, Hotel Arno Bellariva is a good hotel for a short term stay but not a place I would reccomend to stay if you're looking for more than just sleeping in the room.

MOSQUITOS!!! Near the river - not close enough for a view, but close enough for LOTS of MOSQUITOS..
no fan in the room, west sun heating up the room.. had to open the window for ventilation.. no screen.
FALSELY advertises AC- NO AC!!! Not even a fan in the room.
Falsely advertises room service.
When i asked about room service hotel replied i was not even allowed to eat food in my room at all.
HORRIBLE experience.
Do not recommend.

It’s only two stars so don’t expect too much. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are cozy, the air conditioning was essential on 40c days in August. It’s across the street from the river and in a pleasant residential neighborhood and a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio and the central tourist locations in Florence. Good breakfast with fresh cut fruit as well as all the typical options.

Budget stay in Florance

The hotel will meet your expectations if you keep in mind - you get what you pay for. The room was sufficient. It served its purpose, which was to put me in proximity to the city center. I walked everywhere and it took a good 30 min to the center, but it’s a pleasant walk and goes by quickly. The breakfast was decent. Nothing exciting but it will get you going for the day. I would recommend the hotel to anyone on a budget and wants to see Florence.

We liked the location, across the street from river walk, with various popup restaurants in the summer. Location was lively and is about a 12 minute cab ride to all the main attractions. Our room was decent, beds were comfortable, but was a bit cramped. Bathroom was also very small and shower floor flooded. No fridge in the room either. Breakfast was minimal, with assorted pastries, coffee machine and two kinds of ham to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff was so nice and friendly at Hotel Arno. Ermal was our favorite! Breakfast every morning was great, and it was in a very good location, great walk-ability!

The only downside was that the AC had been turned off for the season, and there are no screens on the windows, so we got some mosquito bites during the night.

Lovely hotel. Stayed for 4 nights. Nice clean comfortable room. Breakfast consisted of croissants. Pain chocs. Toast. Cereal. Hams. Cheese. Yoghurts. Fruits. Rice cakes. Good variety. All staff we encountered were very nice. Hotel is across from the river. 25 min walk to centre of florence or a 10 min bus ride on the number 14 feom behind hotel.

Staff was very helpful, especially in calling taxis. Clean, excellent breakfast, nice breakfast area and outdoor sitting area. Basic hotel, but very comfortable. High ceilings, good TV and wifi Connection. Pretty quite and safe. We would stay there again, good value.

The hotel I said in an older buildding beside the river and a busy avenue. The a/c was not working and was not repaired until the last night of our stay. They offered a breakfast which was very nice. Alll but one of the front desk clerks were very nice. They did Go out of their way to help accommodate us while the a/c was down. Overall I have stayed at better places and worse.

Character Hotel by the River

The front desk staff at the Hotel Arno Bellariva were stellar. Very helpful and friendly; offered to help me with my luggage as there is no lift and moved me to an upper floor room when I requested it with no problem at all. The hotel is located across the street from a park and the Arno River. It is a nice park for a walk in the evening. It is about a 20-30 minute walk to the center of the city and about the same to the Piazza Michelangelo and Olterano making it a good central location. I found it quiet at night and I thought the breakfast was very good. There were plenty of options to choose from and the warm croissants were wonderful. The single room is very tight but the small double was quite comfortable. I would recommend as a good hotel if you are on a budget.

Amazing hotel, we really enjoyed our stay! Clean and spacious. The front desk clerk very helpful in selling us bus passes and directions for buses. The breakfast and staff were especially helpful. The breakfast was served elegantly! So nice, so Italian, loved it!! Top of the line hotel!!

Great staff, not so great hotel

Staff were very friendly, welcoming & helpful when asking for city information. Very attentative. However, the hotel and room itself were not what we expected. The pictures online are edited and do not realistically portray the hotel. There were A LOT of mosquitos flying around in our room, apparently they \"forgot\" to spray the killer while cleaning our room. I would not stay there or recommend this hotel.

It was horrible to stay there, as the room was not at all clean and far away from train station, so need to spend on taxi fare as well. In the room lot of ANTS were there so could not sleep at all whole night. thank god we escaped now. It is on the busy road so, even you cant open the window otherwise you cant sleep, other bad thing was AC was in very bad condition

Ainda que um pouco distante do centrãode Florença, a uma caminhada de uns 30 minutos, há transporte disponível praticamente na porta. Hotel é grande mas silencioso, muito confortável. Bom café da manhã, uma ótima opção, com um custo z benefício excelente. Recomendo.

El hotel es bueno en general considerando que es de 2 estrellas. En general la habitacion muy limpia y con los servicios generales funcionando en forma.

Varias observaciones.

* las fotos que ves al reservar estan algo truqueadas. No es realmente el hotel que encuentras. Ya se ve mas viejo y notas que no ha tenido renovaciones recientes.

* las personas de recepcion muy amables en general y dispuestos a ayudar siempre. Eso estuvo perfecto.

* en rexepcion lo unico que no nos agrado fue que tienen ahi a un gato que pues bueno, no es de nuestro agrado. Solo lo menciono por otros que se sientan igual.

* las habitaciones en general bien. Para llegar a dormir y amplias. Nada maravilloso.
Si eres amante de tu tv y netflix por la noche pues aca no es porque la tv es muy pequeña y no conecta a internet. Nosotros no lanusamos pero es un punto a considerar.

En general creo que florencia es un poco cara en temas de hospedaje y este hotel era de los accesibles, pero bo olvide. Que es de 2 estrellas y eso es lo que recibes.

Nice hotel with quite modern feeling. At least compared to the other hotels visited during this Italian trip. Breakfast was ok. Not so much too choose, but well managed. Nice park on the other side of the street, where you could by street food and beverages in the evening. Close to river and not that far too city centre and train station.

Les hôtels ferait bien de revoir leurs petits déjeuner qui sont indigne de ce nom aussi bien à Florence qu’à Venise….!!!☹️

値段の割には非常に古いホテルで、端部屋ではありましたが窓からの景色は非常に悪かったです。
　また客層もあまりよろしくなく挨拶などしても返さない珍しい雰囲気のホテルでした。スタッフまでも挨拶などしません。特に掃除をしてくれる方などは、どういうわけか睨んでくる有様。私だけがそういう目にあってるのかと思えば、私の子供もそんな目にあってるようでした。アジア人差別を考えました。
　いずれにせよ2泊したことを後悔しています。2泊してしゃべったのは1回きりチャオの一言だけでした。彼らはシティタックスや駐車場の料金を取ることにだけ会話をしてるかのようでした。

Alles super bis auf das Frühstück

Für einen Wochenendtrip war es ein angemessenes Hotel. Es war alles sauber und die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Vom Frühstücksbuffet haben wir uns etwas mehr erwartet (vlt der derzeitigen Corona-Situation geschuldet), aber es war letzlich in Ordnung. Die Säfte und der Caffee hatten aber leider eine leichte Chlor-Note im Nachgeschmack.
