Well-appointed apartment with kitchen facilities. I would have appreciated a basic chair, but my spouse really enjoyed the spa lounger! There were bar-style chairs. We didn’t avail of the spa facilities but those that do would find that a big bonus. Kitchen facilities were great. Well located in a quiet neighborhood with access to the bus service and nearby Tabacchi shops to buy bus tickets. We were given fresh towels and coffee every day, and our room was tidied up. There’s also a Coop grocery store nearby. Would definitely recommend!

Room was clean and modern. The bathroom was full of towels, heated each and bathrobes and slippers. The staff at the front desk were great and helped us book taxis and find great places to eat.
The location was perfect. We even met the owner and he was incredibly nice and down to earth.

The roof terrace with a view of the Duomo is so nice. Did not use spa. Short walk to all sights and neighborhood near hotel has good restaurants and nightlife.

Rooms are very basic and description of property is not at all like what is advertised on Expedia. Lots of heavy construction surrounding the property and overall not the best place to stay (location wise) in Florence. Not a good value for what you pay for here, there are much better options.

Early check-in was accommodated by very friendly staff. Newer hotel, with modern amenities. Room was large, clean and loved that we had a fridge and stove (didn't use the stove but nice it was there just in case). 10 minute walk from the train station, and about 15 minute walk to the lively piazza's and Duomo and about 20 minutes to Piazza Michelangelo. In the evening, with a bottle of wine, we enjoyed the multiple outdoor terraces, overlooking cathedrals and Duomo and the Florentine mountains. The hotel is a great home base location to see everything Florence has to offer if you're willing to walk, which in Italy, IMO there is no other way to immerse yourself into what each city has to offer. Used the pool and steam room, a welcome few hours of relaxation, before hitting the cobble stone streets again in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

Pool, roof terrace & garden wonderful. Great to be in a local community not tourist area. Fantastic coffee/takeaway food shop nearby frequented by friendly locals, plus supermarket and more than one excellent restaurant. Easy walk to buses & town. Best all-round view of historic Florence centre possible from roof terrace.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Very good cleaning staff. Nice table, but the rooms also badly need a desk/dressing table with a mirror one could sit at, plus a drawer for cosmetics & bits & pieces, and bedside cabinets with a drawer & a larger, safer top to put nighttime articles on, such as phone/watch/water glass/book. Easy to make perfect!

Fantastic views from the roof terraces. Rooms spacious very clean and reception staff very helpful. Although the rooms very modern they need some maintenance eg kitchen cupboards don’t close properly, neither the sink or bath plugs worked in our room in fact the bathroom sink was loose and the shower holder was also very loose.

Would liken to have had some mugs for tea and coffee and a kettle although it’s easy to boil water in a pan.

Above is feedback as we enjoyed our stay the Spa was great.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop terrace was just beautiful. We went bought some pizza from pizza taxi around the corner and some Prosecco from supermarket and it’s was a top notch dinning experience. You can also buy beverages from the hotel. They gave you a free bottle of wine and the pool after a few days of intense walking was calm, serene and warm.

The hotel staff were fantastic—truly helpful and welcoming. However, I wish the photos on Expedia were more accurate, as they felt misleading. The pool is much smaller than pictured, the ceilings are quite low that causes noise within the indoor pool and the rooms don’t match the quality shown in the photos.

Over all this is a good location and good walkability. The bus stop is across the street. The handsoap pump didn’t work in my room but I didn’t report it. I just used the soap in shower. This is a pretty decent place for a first visit to Florence. I usually travel luxury but knew I had a short time and would mainly be out the room for most of this trip. I stayed here with my 9 year old daughter. We felt safe and the staff was helpful in coordinating airport transport.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the place very much. We stayed in room 405 and it was Very large, in clouding a balcony that wrapped around the entire side and to the front of the property where there was a view of Florence.
Two small. Things- this property is at least 20 minute walk to most attractions in Florence so just know that but, because of that we discovered a wonderful restaurant- Trattoria Cesarino- ate there twice- get the small steak Florentine.
Second: DO NOT get the jacuzzi experience!! It was a complete waste of money. The jacuzzi is on the rooftop facing Florence- sounds wonderful, right? But, no. The jacuzzi is oriented away from this so that the cover to the jacuzzi completely blocks any view except of the jacuzzi cover. Great idea, poorly executed. The last photo shows what I’m talking about.

This is a very modern and clean Aparthotel with kitchenette, indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

It is in a quiet residential area, about 20 minutes fast walking from center of the city.

Taxi will cost 25 Euros, but there are buses available. I would take C2 or C3 electric buses

If you need a kitchenette, or swimming pool, and don’t mind the walk, then you should definitely stay here.

Everyone that we interacted with was very kind and polite. It is great to know that someone is there at Front Desk whenever you need anything or have a question. We checked in real late and it was reassuring to see front desk staff and valet parking still active. Valet parking with in and out privileges was very handy during our stay.

They have 24x7 filtered water available downstairs and you can fill up your own bottle.

The spa / pool in the basement is just next level. Just perfect after long day of walking and stroller pushing in Firenze.

Some reviews mentioned the smell or chlorine/ pool being everywhere but I just found the smell in the lobby. There was absolutely no smell in the room.

The city center is just 15-20 min walk from the hotel. We just walked there everyday. I would definitely stay here again!

Glorious inner city Hotel

The hotel was wonderfully clean, the welcome gifts were perfect and the staff were all lovely. We enjoyed breakfast twice, which was delicious. The spa services were also enjoyed. Sadly we ran out of time to try the jacuzzi on the roof!

This was an excellent hotel with fun amenities like a pool In The basement. It is valet parking only. The hotel is a bit hard to find as it is behind the bank with a very small driveway and glass door for your drive up cars. The entrance is just in front of The Bank.

The spa services were easy to schedule with the friendly staff (definitely get a massage while you’re there) and the location was perfect. We were a ten minute walk from the city center and felt both close to everything and far enough away that we could pretend to be locals. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to end our days in Tuscany.

Relaxing stay, friendly staff

Our stay at Forte16 was lovely and offered great relaxation after a busy day exploring Florence. The room was confortable and clean, with a little noise from the street due to the placement but nothing drastic. Staff were incredibly helpful. The only downside was that the steam room was out of order, but the pool and sauna, as well as the massage availability, was more than enough. It is a bit of a walk into the main centre, but in a city as beautiful as Florence this was not an issue.

The hotel and its staff was very impressive. Our only complaint was the room was always too hot. We asked the to lower the temperature, I believe that they tried. However, it made sleeping very uncomfortable. The windows opened, but the early morning traffic was loud. I would return. The staff was extremely accommodating.
