I was dissapointed there was no mini fridge to store water in. There was a lot of wear and tear on the floor and some walls. Internet only worked in 1 spot in my room. Lifts were temperamental. Given the location and these caveats i didnt think it was worth the money i paid.

It was easy to get around the city from here. The only thing was the elevator was out of order as they were redoing the decals on the inside and that made getting to and from the 5th floor challenging. At least when we e checked in and out they were fully functional. Staff were amazing.

This is outside of where we normally stay (near SMN) but it was excellent. Great staff, you can buy food in the lobby & micro in the main room. We learned to take the bus to wherever we were headed for the day. There’s a killer gelato place at the Piazza Baccaria where we went daily. Easy walk to caffe and dolci because we didn’t want the available hotel breakfast. Good restaurants. A lot less touristy and better prices, yet only 3 blocks from the Arno. Would recommend it for sure. B&B also has a much more central location.

Looked great from pics online, but AC didn’t work - our room was 30 degrees Celsius - and unfriendly staff said, “this isn’t like America.” We aren’t even American! Don’t advertise air conditioning of rooms are that temperature in the middle of July! They eventually offered us other rooms after I cancelled our second night, but only one had a better temperature. I would NEVER plan a stay here again.

Air conditioning did not work and bathroom was full of black mold that made us sick. Our room was at a constant 90 degrees Fahrenheit for the whole stay. The staff was accommodating but management did not give them the resources or personnel to fix either problem. All they were authorized to provide was a fan and free breakfast.

First, all of the staff was extremely nice and always helpful with whatever we needed. The location is great because it’s easy to walk to and from the hotel, but also easy for a taxi to get there if you need one. Unfortunately, the room was a little dirty, there was a ball of hair by the door and the bathroom had some muck. Liveable, but not exactly what you’d want from a hotel.

No iron, never refreshed the towels on a daily basis… as a matter of fact they took our towels and didnt replace them… phone didnt work…. Went to concierge with some questions and concerns and they mentioned that they were too busy to answer general questions. Hahaha we thought they were joking but were so serious. Bathroom has filthy. I really don't recommend this and i never write reviews ,so u know this is bad when i have to start!

I was just pleasantly surprised with the hotel, because I had looked at many, many hotels, looking for a nice, cheap one. Many were at minimum double the price as you guys; nice, but double the price. Seeing your guys’ hotel, it still looked nice despite the price drop. And, I liked the simple, modern look. This was my second time in Italy, and I really enjoyed the hotel; I liked coming home to it after the end of every day, felt like home. It was about a 15 min walk from all the sights, restaurants, etc that I was going to, but it was okay. Staff was always very nice and helpful, I appreciated that; I even got to use one of your adapters free of charge for my entire stay, because mine didn’t work, and all I had to do was return it. Was moved to a new room because of noise from kids, fast and easy. Had a very enjoyable experience. Thank you! Next time, maybe I’ll even get a nicer room, if available, and possible for me!

Service was good but the single room is poorly designed. The shower is extremely small even for an average sized person. Not very generous with the accomations either. Was only given 2 towels (1 small and 1 big), 1 pillow, and no issue box. Buffet was just average.

Staff were incredibly accommodating after I arrived and realized my dates were mixed up. They got me into the same kind of room I originally booked, and worked with me on a refund for my initial trip. The room was very simple but perfect for a place to rest and clean up between outings. Smart TV meant I could connect and watch my preferred videos/streams, and the lobby had necessities as well as small bites for purchase. Overall a great safe stay I was glad I booked for my time in Florence.

The hotel is in the town centre, which is a walking distance to swveral places of attraction. The front desk personal didnt look receptive, she just had a straight face but did her job well. She even assisted us with an adopter and cable to charge our phones, but no smile. I guesa she was tired.

The guy that took over at night was amazing, and the other guy the next day was so great. He even helped us book a taxi and was pleasant about it. The room was cleaned and smelled fresh, I'll definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone. Will also try other B&B hotels

We stayed in this hotel from the 21st to 24th of Jun 2023 and the first night was a nightmare, the Air Condition (A/C) did not work at the room and the room was like an oven and it kept dripping water all night and making very announcing noise. I complained to the front desk, and they keep insist its working and they will send somebody to check it out, and nobody did. which ruined our plans the next day as we were exhausted

One of the worst 3 star hotels I have ever stayed at. It’s more of a 2 star hotel at most. It was dirty, with mouldy bathroom, so noisy and the window did not shut properly we could hear the noise in the street from the early morning. There was furniture moving noise EVERYDAY at 8 am that woke us up and to top it up on the last night, a bunch of teenage school boys and girls stayed in the room right next to our and were screaming, laughing, and running in the hallway till 2 am! I had to call the reception staff to keep them quiet and at 7 am they started slamming the door none stop 50 times! It was the worst stay every. No sleep, no rest and the mattress was SO uncomfortable we woke up with back ache everyday. The room looks NOTHING like the pictures it’s outdated and small! And the wink in the bathroom was dripping water so our clothes would get drenched every time we washed our hands. Honestly the stay in the hotel ruined our trip to Florence. We were tired and grumpy from the noise all day and night and why they would allow teenage school children to stay in this hotel is beyond me (it is not a hostel!) in fact, I’ve stayed in hostels before that were nicer and cleaner. If you want your holiday ruined look no more :)

The property meets your basic needs.

Pros: It is walking distance to everything, busing system & grocery store are in close proximity. Great Air conditioning and wifi.

Cons: Staff we’re unpleasant, and always looked unhappy. When you needed someone from the desk they were always missing, even during front desk hours.

Overall, a good stay if your just needing a bed, and a place to shower.

Front desk staff members are very friendly and helpful, especially we only stopped two nights in Florence from our long journey in cities of Italy. Comparing it to other same grade hotel, the services they provide is the best. We paid more than double in other hotels with poor service. Although it is not a luxury hotel, but consider the price & location, it is unbeatable for travellers. It is our first visit to Florence and we don’t speak Italian, we found this hotel is trustworthy as well, unlike other 3-star / 4-star hotels, keep on increasing price like rocket.

Moldy hotel!

I’ve stayed at hostels that were waaaaaay nicer than this hotel.There was a lot of mold in the bathroom and rust, as well. The bed was a sad rock and it just looked like we were staying at a sad, cheap motel. Also, the elevator only holds up to 4 people so if two have bags, thats all it can fit. We had to wait for the elevator 6 times bc it was already full.

Terrible service! Our shower holder was broken and the shower door didn’t close all the way flooding the bathroom each time. We asked for it to be fixed early morning and when we came back late evening it still wasn’t fixed. We kept being locked out of our room and at one point when we got locked out, we went back down to inquire and were told the receptionist when we checked in made a mistake and didn’t collect full payment for our 4 night stay (when it had only been one night) and payment should have been collected upfront. We’ve stayed at many hotels in many countries and they collect upon checkout but considering they hadn’t fixed what we asked them to and then asked us for full payment without providing the service then locking us out and telling us it was an unrelated issue? We were livid! One of the staff upfront, a gentleman was also very rude. The manager told us we could contact her anytime for the issue and the staff member told us he couldn’t contact her and also told me to be quiet at some point because I was upset. We did pay the hotel bit for all 4 nights and when asked to void and we would pay upon checkout, they refunded instead of a void same day (30 min later) and made up a story saying in Italy they could only cancel and not void. BS!Completely unhappy with the service so we checked out 2 nights early and only paid for one night of stay for the inconvenience caused during what is supposed to be our vacation.

The hotel is very close to the city centre and we had a view of key attractions from our room, including the Dome. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was very quiet so we got a good night sleep.

The bathroom needs upgrading because mould was starting to form around the shower. We also found ants in the room. The room is very minimal equipped with only one towel and a tea towel per person. No kettle or glasses provided.

This hotel is excellent. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

The location is very good. It is within easy walking distance of the centre of Firenze (where all the tourist attractions are). There are also very convenient bus stops for the 12 and 14 bus services nearby. Both these services will take you to the center of town. Firenze Campo di Marte station is about 15 minutes’ walk away (or about 3 stops on the number 12 bus)

The hotel has a modern design, with lots of space in the lobby and seating area.
The Wi-Fi coverage and quality throughout the hotel is excellent.

The rooms and bathrooms are good with excellent air conditioning (which is really needed in summer in Firenze!). The shower in the bathroom was really, really good.

The buffet-style breakfast is not included in the price, but was well worth the additional cost.

I would definitely stay here again when in Firenze.

I was only there for 2 nights but the room was more than I expected! The smart TV was a nice bonus and I had a terrace on the fifth floor that overlooked the city. It was even complete with a table and two chairs! They even kept my luggage when I checked out until my train left. The shower also had amazing pressure that I find some hotels often lack. I would recommend and stay here again and any other B&B hotel in future.

I really wanted to like this hotel, but it leaves quite a bit to be desired. These are the goods: The hotel is very conveniently located with plenty of access to public transportation and nearby restaurants and shops and the staff is friendly. The not so good: once you are past modern the lobby, one realizes that the overall condition of the hotel is been neglected ( despite it’s not an old building). Our room was not in the best shape: dirty walls, chipped furniture, and the shower door was missing a part so it didn’t close properly. As a result the floors would get slippery. As a matter of fact my wife fell down trying to enter the shower and hit herself pretty badly. Maybe it’s a good hotel for younger people traveling around as it offers decent comfort, but it’s not ideal for a family. I

I liked the hotel. It was clean, in a safe neighborhood that seemed pretty non-touristy, and the staff were helpful. It’s about a 20-minute walk from El Duomo, through beautiful streets. You have to pay for breakfast, but there’s a square nearby with caffes where you can get a cappucino and a croissant for less than half the price. Be warned, because I had no idea, the showers are tiny! Not a deal-breaker for me, but good to know.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel is close to the bus which is very good if you coming from the train station. We came from Pisa and the bus was just across the street from the train station. We got to the hotel in just few stops. Nice area. Walking distance to all the tourists places you need to go. I really loved the location and the first night was raining we didn’t have an umbrella but the girl at the front desk was very nice to let us borrow one from them. My breakfast was not included but there are bakery’s like two blocks away.

Friendly staff but the hotel is in need of some TLC. The air conditioning didn’t work throughout our stay (warm only) and when switched on, extremely noisy. There were also ants crawling in the room behind one of the beds.
