Unsurprisingly, this hotel is magnificent and exceeded all of my expectations. The palazzo is stunning and the interiors are just what you'd want from a Renaissance palazzo. My room was a little paradise and I am so sad to leave. I stayed for a week and this hotel became a second home. The area is a short walk from the city centre but is far enough removed that it's quite tranquil. With the largest private garden in the city, it was a true oasis. The Atrium Bar and Il Palagio were a drink and food lover's dream. I sampled the tasting menu at Il Palagio and it was to die for. I waiters were brilliant. The sommelier offered the most delicious wine pairings. Highly recommend the vintage negroni for your aperitif.

As you'd expect from the Four Seasons, the service was unparalleled. Everyone knew my name, what i liked to drink, coffee preferences, etc. I wanted to offer special thanks to Serena with in-room dining, as well as to Giovani and Emanuele with the breakfast service. You were all standouts and I'm so glad I got to know you a bit. The woman who did the turndown service was also a delight -- I'm sorry I don't know her name.

I had a 75-minute massage with Francesca who worked miracles and the spa treatments are superb. Kristina at the spa reception was also wonderful--she gave me a lot of history about Florence and the story behind some of the Santa Maria Novella products. Much appreciated.

Booked a Suite and when got to the room, it was a normal side room with no separate sitting area. Suites always have oversized rooms or even more so a separate siting area. My room did not. A mentioned it to the hotel and upon check-out, the hotel comped me a very expensive bottle of wine I had with my dinner and free breakfast. I thought it was an extremely kind gesture which I didn’t expect. At best, the room is a Jr. Suite, but definitely not a Suite.

Restaurant is Michelin 1 star, which was awesome. Overall, an extremely pleasant experience.

The location is good and rooms are very spacious. The staff are also friendly and well trained and the hotel overall is also very nice with great gardens. The concierge were super helpful (the chat on the app is super convenient). I would however say that everything in the hotel is very overpriced. Considering you're spending 1k on the room, you'd expect them not to overcharge on everything else. Anyway overall a pleasant stay.

It is rare that an elegant hotel is professional, elegant and fun. The Four Seasons in Florence, Italy has managed to achieve all of these qualities.
Although we were there for my birthday, I wanted to surprise my friend with a pastry that she loves. We can not get it in the U.S. I asked the restaurant staff if possible, can they try to get it for us. Not only did they get it, but presented it to our table as a birthday cake with candles in it.I don't know who was more emotional me or my friend. Thank you Giulia.
We had such fun speaking with Frederico at the reception desk, Rado at the front door and all the lovely staff that we came into contact with.
The garden was simply beautiful and relaxing.
Thank you for a magical experience. I hope that you are all well during this difficult time.

The hotel is in a beautiful location and the staff are second to none. If something does go wrong, the hotel doe their utmost to fix the issue.

The downside is the extremely high price for the accommodation. The standard room prices don't include breakfast which is somewhat off putting when you are paying so much in the first place.

We very much enjoyed our time at the Four Seasons, it was one of the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Beautiful hotel with beautiful and friendly staff Loved it.
My wife and I recently visited Florence for a short break and booked into the Four Seasons mainly because of its location- near enough to the main sites but far enough away not to be too hectic. Despite having great reviews it totally exceeded our expectations. The hotel is amazing and the team without exception are incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make our stay really special. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is a perfect size so has a lovely boutique feel. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Nice hotel, you get a 5 stars hotel so you know what to expect. Service was great. Nothing but praise there.

I have to say though that the pool area wasn't that great. Not enough outlets nor places to plug in your stuff in the room, they have a little device with USB ports but it was broken and didn't work.

We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and it was really good. Worth the money.

All together, not sure they can justify the price difference with Villa Cora. We stayed there and beside a bed that was a bit too hard and a smaller room (things I don't really care that much about but your opinion might differ), I'm totally in love with the rest of the hotel, which is way better than the 4 seasons IMO and also cheaper.

The staff at the Four Seasons in Florence were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, from guest services to the bar persons or the front desk reception staff. Our king sized bed room in Villa Gherardesca was beautifully furnished, light and bright and quiet. Walking through the garden we enjoyed the sculptures and green surroundings. The breakfast offered something for everyone, and we enjoyed eating on the terrace every morning.

On a scale of 1 to 5 , this property scores a 6! It is a huge estate in the middle of crowded Florence. There are two buildings for the hotel, the main building and the villa. Between the buildings is literally a park and gardens that are impeccably kept. The decor of the hotel and the rooms are elegantly ornate. The rooms are extremely comfortable. Then there is the staff that completes the whole experience. Always a smile. Always a warm greeting. Their goal is to please you.

We stayed there for 6 nights this time. We love it....from rooms and the breathtaking garden which I love to staff, hotel condition, food, service is the best. Is 10 min. Walk to duemo and shopping and close to most of the attractions. Il polagio resturant at the hotel is one of the best. Food at this hotel from bf to lunch and dinner is one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, we loved this hotel. I chose this hotel because it was the first trip to Europe for my daughters and I felt a hotel with a pool would provide a great respite. In every way, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The pool and grounds are a site to see in and of themselves. If you plan to visit Florence in the summer, you should definitely stay here. My daughters suitcase did not arrive on our flight and the concierge staff spent two days tracking it down. Without their help, that suitcase would probably still be at an airport somewhere. Our room was splendid and the hotel is only about a ten to fifteen minute walk to most of the main sites. All in all, I can't rave about our stay there enough. It was the perfect way for me to introduce my girls to the wonders of travel. I can't wait to return.

Hands down the best service I've ever received, we lover the four seasons, st.regis style of service but this one surpassed any hotel worldwide we've stayed at. So elegant and chic. Highly recommend, wouldn't stay anywhere else. They have a HUGE garden that has cool art installations scattered about, lots of fun.

Great time for us on our third visit. Given availability and our returning, we were upgraded to a suite with a courtyard view.
Very pleasant and more spacious than the last suite we stayed at.
Florence is probably our favourite city in Europe, the Four Seasons experience simply enhances the charm. Start like Salvatore in the bar area and the humour of the restaurant start makes you feel like you have known them all your life. See you again in July!

I visited more then 10 Four Seasons hotels around the world and every tim i think they couldn't be better, but this time i was wrong, they (FS) done it better. Hotel was like another planet, perfect in any way, i usually pay a lot attention to details and mistakes, i was trying hard to find them, but there was non.
