The location of the hotel is very close to the tram station and it’s a walking distance to city center. The bed is not comfortable and the hotel room seems that has no sounds proof at all as we could hear the conversation of my next room, it’s not recommended for couple to stay unless you don’t care of your privacy, but the breakfast is good.

Fruit juices, tea, coffee, fruit, breads, meats, cheese, yoghurt, pastries, cold cereal, donuts, toppings, and snacks.
The beds were comfortable. The shower had 2 shower heads…hand held and a large sprinkler. Toilet and bidet. :) Very clean.
The staff was kind and helpful.
Great location, walking distance to basilica.

If you are a tourist traveling , pls do not waste your money for this hole in the wall. The photo on the internet is not even the hotel. The room is super cramped like a jail cell with broken mattress no amenities. Hotel staff Ahmed and imad used tourist honesty & trust in hotel. They set up unbelievable rates for taxi/uber services as they benefit & has. No remorse. We booked from 8/23/25. - 9/10/25 and left on 8/29/25. Staff made us felt unsafe after we rejected their pressure to book their personal taxi services, harassment’s from these 2 front desk worker laughing, mocking us thinking we didn’t understand their language. Everyday there’s a new pressure for tours package & when we decline the treatment for the stay was so unwarranted & unnecessary. Mattress was broken. Room has 2 bed the size for a toddler, room service was lousy and dirty. I rebook this stay for a family and she stayed several days before I arrived and she, an elder (woman) family also stated everyday they pressure her for additional cash for taxi rides and solicit things she didn’t need. As a platinum member and traveled to 42 international country, I contacted Expedia and told them this HOTEL should be evaluated & removed off of the listing for Expedia. Unsafe hotel, pictures is a lie- nothing like shown in Expedia, front desk workers imad & Ahmed use this job as a coverup for their scams to tourists, they see us as financial resource. Constant daily harassment- Run from here folks!!!

The staff were all 5+ star: always very polite, helpful and professional. Room and hotel itself were simple and lovely, but very, very clean. Beautiful terraces and yummi Breakfast. Location is insane to all local shops and main attractions, took me 14 minutes by foot to Duomo and 25 to the Main train station. Would recommend and return.

First off, you get what you pay for. I knew that going in. The pros were that the place was clean and had a modernized bathroom. The cons: the room was tiny and the walls super thin. I could hear everything going on at all times. The room was also hot with nothing to do about it. I slept horribly. I would find better and pay more to get better sleep. You will need it.

Checked in, the only hotel that insisted on cash payment for city tax. Had two filghts of stairs to climb to the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. No assistance offered. \"Double\" bed hard against the wall, impossible to get out of if you were against the wall. No safe, no drinks facities, no hotel bar. Other rooms had bunk beds. Found somwhere else to stay and checked out. Managed to get the city tax back but that's all. Disgraceful, should no be on your books.

The hotel is located on the fourth floor, which is a bit unusual, but there are many quirky places in Italy and we've stayed in some of them. We'd booked a room for three people as we were travelling with our son. The room was very basic, with barely enough space for a double and single bed. There was also a fusty smell in the room. On the plus side, the bathroom was new and clean. The major problem with the hotel was that on the second day, a school group arrived and from that point on it was chaotic. The hotel thought it reasonable to have us in a room amongst the school group. The noise into the night was unacceptable. At midnight, a group of teachers were sitting outside our room playing cards, there was shouting and shrieking, banging on doors well into the small hours. At breakfast the next morning there were so many school kids around the only places on offer were on a shared table with the school group. We complained to the hotel about the noise but have not had a satisfactory response. The idea that they were unaware of the noise issue is frankly ridiculous. So, book this hotel at your peril. Our experience was of a youth hostel, not a hotel.

I feel like the hotel was a glorified hostil. It felt the goal was to get as many rooms into the space as possible. If youre not spending much time in the room, then its not a problem. My room is spacious with two beds, one is a queen bed (or bigger) and a single bed and new bathroom. Budget friendly for young aldults with free breakfast every day. I may get noisy at time since dinner time in Florence start from 8pm but it gets quiet after midnight. Steps away from tram and about 15 minutes walk to the Duomo. A lot of shops and cafes around. Fun and convenient area to be. I wish the room had ook(s) in the bathroom.

A great value!

Our stay was an excellent value for the money. The room was very clean with a private bathroom, minimal furniture: not night stands, but it had a big closet, a TV, a desk with a chair, and a small fridge. It felt like staying in a college dorm but with a full size bed. The breakfast was good and a nice addition. We didn’t have to worry about looking for places for breakfast the next morning which saved us time and money. Not far from the center of the city but it is a walk. There is an amazing restaurant in the neighborhood “Antica Trattoria de Tito”. A lot of young people in the hotel. We will definitely stay again!

Shopping and dining are a brisk five to ten minute walk in any direction (tourist prices). Transportation is nearby; however, I waited for the bus and it never came….i just walked.

Hotel central to attractions.The room was very small bumping into the wall TV walking around the bed, and the paint peeling of the walls in the bathroom, parking was close but expensive 30 Euro. Ask about other parking 10 min walk 15 Euro. Breakfast was busy 5/10. The floors in the bedroom were very clean as was the hall and stairs,
and there were no table night lights for evening reading just the bright overhead light. Bed was 5/10 comfortable. It was nice to be able to open a window to the fresh air.

The front desk has no customer service skills. Enzo the manager was so rude, he made guests clean floors if they spilled a little water on the floor by accident! They never cleaned our room, although we were booked for 5 nights, I had to make them clean it on the 4th night. The shower has no door and is built poorly so the bath water pooled around the commode with every use. The breakfast is the same basic stuff every single day. They just want to make money and dont really care about the clients well being. I would NEVER stay there again.

Whilst the staff were pleasant and helpful, the hotel was extremely noisy as it is situated over a school catering for all ages of children. Their playground and morning drop off point was exactly below our window. The air conditioning was so noisy we had to turn it off.
The worst thing was the bed bugs. Sleep was impossible as I was bitten around 30 times during the night. Also had to fumigate all my clothes and luggage on my return.

This hotel is about 25 mins walk from firenze train station.A fair distance from the major attractions.. Academia Gallery was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is on the second floor of the building .It was quite dated, the carpets were distasteful and full of stains. It was airconditioned but we had to keep asking to lower the temperature down to our liking as they kept putting it to 22 deg. The rooms were spacious, beds and pillows were comfortable, fairly clean but the shower was poorly designed as it kept flooding the whole bathroom everytime we used it. The breakfast was sufficient to start the day with. There isn't a lot of dining options close to the hotel...I would say you can get a better option for the price we paid to stay tbere...

The AC wasn’t working on the first day. Staff refused to move me to another room until I had to fight it. Then the key lock didn’t work - this was 3 am and the Staff couldn’t open the door with the master key. They had to move me to another room to sleep until the next morning. I requested the refund but was refused. Nice and clean facility but the service was horrible.

This was a great, convenient hotel. Great service, good air conditioning, and also a nice sized room and bathroom (see pictures). Only a mile to the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. Supermarket at the end of the block and easy to get a taxi (they don't really use Uber as much here) to the airport.

Garden Blue is a very nice hotel with friendly hotel staff and good size rooms although the bright orange curtains are a bit much!! It is quiet and convenient for Galleria Acamadia and The Duomo. The roof garden and outside terrace are really lovely with beautiful plants and flowers and a huge television screen in reception /lounge which was great for the Euros.

The television in our rooms as with most European hotels are too high up on the wall so i had a sore neck most nights having watched the euros and wimbledon tennis 2024. Also an English speaking news channel would be a good idea.

The breakfast is amazing with loads of choice and delicious food.

So thanks to Garden Blue in Florence and will come back and recommend it to anyone.

Could not sleep the whole night, AC was promised but was not working on the whole second floor. Room was above 30 degrees, felt like we were in sleeping in a sauna. Tried to bring this up with staff but they did not move us to a room with working AC and also refused to provide any compensation for it. One of the guys at the reception was quite nice and gave useful information about activities in florence.

The location is great. In walking distance to most of attractions and train station. The employees are all very nice and polite and informative. Specially Omar which gave us excellent advice about tours and attractions and made our visit memorable.The breakfast area always clean. Good breakfast. It has lovely terrace and rooftop . Specially the rooftop with lovely flowers and a beautiful view of Florence cathedral.
Our room was nice and clean . Overall I recommend this place . I can only suggest if they can a few pictures of Florence and Italy attractions on the room and corridors wall to make it more cheerful and a cattle and some teabags also would be nice . We had a lovely stay and I definitely recommend the place .

Wifi was almost non existing my room but as soon as i got to the door it was great. Terrace on the second floor was great too. Great bang for your buck overall.

Pillows were terrible.
Room was very small.
Front door all metal like a prison.
Other area were excellent like the Reception Area, BF or Kitchen area.
Staff were friendly @ efficient.
