And on the 5th December the guy who worked on the reception was terrible and racism as a customer I asked him if he could arrange a transport to airport for me in English he just said to me “ I don’t understand “ then just walked off absolutely ridiculous

spent 1 night at this boutique hotel and unfortunately it did not live up to the price tag of over €300 per night. The room felt poorly maintained, with scuffed doors and frames, and the bathroom had pests, which was very off-putting. Overall, the property did not feel fresh or cared for. We expected a much higher standard for this rate and cannot recommend it.

Travelled to Florence for my wifes 50th birthday. To make it special, i wanted to make sure the hotel was right. The hotel did not disappoint - immaculately clean, staff very helpful and chevk in easy. Beautiful room which had a view of the city.

Breakfast was equally of a high standard with a great variety of options available. Staff again, were extremely attentive.

We booked a 50 min slot in the spa - very n8ce after travelling. Only complaint here is the hot tub could have been hotter!

Overall a fantastic stay - I would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again. 10 of 10.

We stayed at Palazzo Lorenzo for 3 nights in July. I can’t fault this hotel. It’s quaint and very quiet mainly due to its location being on the outskirts of the city (15 mins walk) The T2 tram is nearby which brings you direct to the airport.
Hotel staff were at hand if needed and breakfast had an extensive buffet choice no matter what your dietary requirements were.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel is in a great location, just far enough from the bustle of touristy Florence, but everything was in easy reach.
The spa was a nice bonus.
We had to ask to move room. The first room has a very strong drain smell and the roller blind was broken (in the down position) so we had no light. Not great for a 3 night stay. Asked to be moved, said they would send maintenance. Asked again the following morning, they said they would send maintenance. When we came back the blind still broken so the new reception team immediately moved us. Totally different style of room, smaller, but big windows on to the garden and everything worked.
Also, the breakfast was pretty basic for a 4-star hotel. Cheap ingredients and not a very big selection. However, we did enjoy our stay in Florence

The front reception staff, the housekeeping and the amazing breakfast spread and staff were all fabulous! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely view and balcony of the couryard below!

The location was a 20 minute walk to city center, most points of interest, shops, restaurants and the transportation hub. We would definitely recommend and stay here again when back in Firenze!

Enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Lorenzo . Staff were friendly and helpful . The hotel felt special with high ornate ceilings , a beautiful staircase and high end decor . Our room was a classic double, it was quite small but had everything we needed. Closet space was limited but we managed. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom had a lovely range of toiletries . We had private use of the spa(one time) included in our package . The spa consisted of 2 jacuzzi’s, a steam room and sauna and was a lovely way to relax after a busy day .
Breakfast was good with lots to choose from and the dining area was bright and airy . There was outdoor seating too which would have been perfect when the weather was warmer .

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our time here for a week. The only issues we had were the property conditions. Our towel bar and toilet paper holder fell off the wall every day. When I used the dressing room at the spa, the molding fell off the wall and blocked the door so I couldn't get out. Thankfully my husband was outside the door and was able to put the molding back on to let me out. Our light switch to the bathroom broke so we couldn't turn the bathroom lights off too. AC didn't work but that could be because of the time of year. We didn't want to ask because we felt like we had already pointed out too many issues and didn't want to be annoying tourists.

Was visiting my daughter at the Pepperdine Campus Villa and the location of the hotel is perfect. It is literally around the corner from the villa.

Nice .8 walk to the city center. Pharmacy, and a couple of delicious restaurants just down the block. The common area was wonderful to sit and relax to visit with friends and and staff is very attentive. Nice breakfast in the morning and complimentary snacks (croissant/cookies). They arranged taxis and even provided a boxed snack breakfast for our early morning flight which was very kind.

It is comfortable, safe, and clean.

The hotel was very nice however it’s worth noting there is no ac in the rooms and the mattress is quite thin and uncomfortable.

Unfortunately we stopped going to breakfast due to morning staff personal hygiene. (Body odour) We didn’t feel comfortable enough to mention this at the desk at the time but on reflection we should have as this experience really tainted our stay, especially in the communal areas & whilst eating.

This was a sweet place, more of a 3 star, than 4 star. Room was good, lots of sounds, not great room insulation, but you are staying in an historic building. Breakfast was awesome and staff was VERY kind and accommodating. It was a bit of a walk to the Duomo (about 25 minutes), I love walking so not an issue for me. It's in a very residential area right on the tram path, so can be convenient for some.

We liked the kindness of the staff and the quality of the service. Did not like the tiny room, the ridiculously tiny shower cabin, the smells (due to old and bad plumbing). Hotel is borderline far from the tourist interest points. I wish Michele Ugliani took a shower in this hotel before he asks people to believe this is a 4 star hotel. It is a 3 star at best.

well laid out. All of the fixtures, design, and furnishings are of high quality. The front desk staff is very nice, helpful, and speak good English if you dont speak Italian. The breakfast has a lot of variety, and the breakfast wait staff are very pleasant and helpful.

The location is not ideal if you want to be right in the middle of bars, restaurants, other tourists, and tourist sites. However, the main shopping area and tourist sights are about a 20 minute walk away. I did find a bistro within a 3-5 minute walk that served food until midnight on a Saturday, Deposito Bagagli Bistró.

The hotel is also a quick taxi or Uber ride to and from the train station.

I would stay again.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked into the building we were welcomed by all staff and felt like VIP guests. All the staff were very professional and made this hotel feel like a luxury hotel.

The private spa was so lovely and relaxing, we wish we could have used it more than once! The breakfast also had a great selection and we were very pleased with it. The property is very clean and very well-maintained, making it a really comfortable stay.

The hotel is a little outside the main area of the town, which makes it a very quiet area. But everything is very walkable, and we only walked the entire time we were there.

We would definitely return to this hotel if we visited Florence again!

The staff was fantastic. We expected to have a \"regular\" room but were placed in the annex under the B&B formula; not bad since we could enjoy a great breakfast. The room wasn't exactly what we expected as it was in the modern structure built behind the main house: it wasn't bad, but it was a bit small for Americans, and there was some mold in the shower. It also smelled a bit moldy everywhere, possibly due to the old carpets. You have to walk 30 minutes to get to the city center, but it's a nice walk. Parking is available onsite in the backyard of the structure: it is narrow but very convenient since you do not have to walk a lot to get your luggage in and out. The overall house is stunning. We had no time to enjoy the spa, but we loved the \"Acqua di Parma\" products available in the room. Kudos to the staff again, very nice people!

The hotel was ok, clean and tidy but the annex area where I stayed had very little soundproofing- you could hear everything in the room next door and the main door slamming. The bed was quite hard too and also short (I’m 5ft5 and my legs were at the end). I expected to be in the main hotel as I hadn’t booked the annex but perhaps it doesn’t matter what you book. Breakfast was pretty poor and the food was clearly out all morning with no chilling or proper heat for eggs etc. location wise, an ok walk into central but a good 20 mins. A decent hotel but I wouldn't say 4 stars.

The spa was included with our room that we booked and it was really worth it. You get it all to yourself with a reservation. The only things that I would say would have made our stay better would be if it was a little bit closer to the main attractions of Florence. It’s like a 25-30 minute walk to the duomo. Which isn’t bad but rough when you’re coming back at the end of a long day. Also the comforter in the room was very thin. Other than that we loved our stay!
