This place looked great on paper — very nice aesthetic, welcoming vibe, and the private room with rooftop access sounded perfect. Unfortunately, the reality was far from it.

On our very first night, we walked into a puddle in the middle of our room. A torrential downpour had leaked through the rooftop straight onto our floor — not exactly what you want to discover when you’re unpacking and worried about your belongings staying dry.

But the real dealbreaker was what happened later that night: the entire room lost power while my girlfriend was just blow-drying her hair. Annoying enough on its own — but far worse was learning that after 8:30 PM, the place is essentially abandoned. No staff on site, no way to get help, no emergency contact. We tried everything and ended up scribbling a note at the front desk, only to spend the entire night in the dark until someone finally fixed it at 8 the next morning. For a property that markets itself as welcoming and comfortable, being left stranded like that was beyond disappointing.

They give us the room on the first floor.too much noise for everyone to walk in. No one is at night you need to call. WhatsApp's number if you need anything. I didn’t feel comfortable at all I will not recommend it at All. Plus the windows shades don’t close at all. You have all the lights on your room.

We had booked a suite and we were given a standard room, with no explanation. I would like to be refunded for the difference.

There was no staff available to check us in when we arrived.

Our room was accessed even though we had our do not disturb sign clearly posted. It was removed and placed inside the room. Overall, extremely unhappy with the lack of privacy.

We had the Suite and it was absolutely stunning! Very clean and spacious room with an amazing bathroom! The room has a steam shower room which was great! The staff were also very friendly. We liked chilling in the garden in the evenings. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Safe and a quiet location, about 15-20 minute walk to the tourist areas and landmarks. Room was spacious and very modern, the hotel was very clean and it smelled very nice. The breakfast was good (10 euros per person, was told $8 but then we got charged $10) and the breakfast area was really cute.

Noisy and unaccommadating

We had booked here because the reviews had suggested it was quiet and one of our party has a disability that is triggered by a lack of sleep. The room was nicely furnished, but very noisy due to it's proximity to the road, the front door, and the reception. We saw the potential for noise on arrival and asked if it was possible we be moved to a quieter room. Without looking at the bookings we were told by the receptionist that it was not possible as all the rooms were full. Over the next couple of hours (from inside our room) we proceeded to hear the receptionist check in many further guests. It is possible of course that these guests were being checked into different types of rooms, and they had no further rooms of the type we had booked. But I wanted to leave a review to let others know that there is a lot of noise in some of the rooms, and the hotel is unlikely to be able to accommodate a change in arrangements.

Other issues included an ant infestation in the room, and a lot of single use plastic.

Messori Suites was a perfect accommodation for visiting Florence. It was beautifully appointed - modern rooms with a beautiful balcony overlooking a garden area. The location could not have been any better. There was a public parking garage nearby for our car, but the location allowed us to easily walk to all the important sites in Florence - we were probably 15-20 min walking from the Accademia. We would definitely stay here on a return trip!

The hotel was excellent in many respects, but lacked tissues in the bathroom and there were no bath towel rails. The towels also were not changed every day. These things detract from the comfort of the room.
Our friends room had a very bad smell in the bathroom and she was told there was nothing that could be done. This was very poor.

The rooms are very modern and clean. The staff - who are there 8 to 8 are very helpful - ordering cabs etc. The area has a supermarket, post office, and restaurants - but it is a 20 minute walk to the nearest site. Not a bad walk, but at night it is on pretty deserted streets.

Stunning decorated room with 4 poster bed and huge bathtub with his and hers sink and outdoor balcony space.

A peaceful location with local restaurants and large supermarket just around the corner. About 20 minutes walk into centre of town.

Only criticism would be lack of 24 hour reception. As we came back after 8 most nights we had a few issues regarding no refill of toiletries the first night and second night no top up of tea/coffee. This meant we had to go without until the next morning.

Another issue was accidentally leaving our key in the room out of reception hours which meant having to call the hotel and wait until someone came to open the front doors.

Overall however a pleasant stay but customer service could be improved.

Lovely small hotel - welcoming, friendly staff. The room was spotless, nice big shower. Garden area to relax and smoke. Breakfast was included in our stay and there were a good variety of fresh crossaibts, cereal, spreads, cheese and meats etc. I would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Messori Suites. It is located in a quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes walking distance to the downtown area sites. The room was beautiful. The only thing is that there was limited space to put unpacked clothing. Also, as in many cases throughout Italy, they do not provide a washcloth. The complimentary breakfast was continental style. If you wanted eggs or more, it was an additional cost. The people there were friendly and eager to help us in any way. We would definitely stay here again!

Located in a nice quiet area away from all the foot traffic of Florence but a short walking distance from Piazza San Marco, the Galleria dell'Accademica (Statue of David), and the Duomo. Nice, modern decor and fixtures in the room and bathroom. The television had several English channels. A traditional Italian breakfast is served with wonderful cappucinno or espresso, but it costs a little extra if you want made-to-order eggs.

Messori Suites was beautifully updated and is in excellent condition. The staff is wonderfully accommodating and cheerful. We arrived early and they not only held our bags but offered cappuccino and croissants while we lounged in the garden. Breakfast was a nice treat. The location is walkable to the train station and many tourist sites. My only issue with the hotel is that it’s modern updates feel cold and museum-like. The fixtures are somewhat impractical and look better than they function.

Lovely little hotel in quiet area. Only around 10 rooms, we had 2 rooms both were very spacious and luxuriously decorated. Location is around 20 mins walk to city centre. Only minor niggle was room housekeeping, all cleaned perfectly but towels and toiletries not replaced so on one occasion our dirty bath towels were removed but no new ones left, couldn’t report to reception as that was not manned after 8pm. Otherwise a lovely stay and would use again.

Perfect stay in a beautiful, boutique hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Messori Suites during the first leg of our visit to Tuscany, which began with a lovely welcome from our host, Francesca. The suite we stayed in with our children was absolutely perfect: generously sized and beautifully decorated. We loved our breakfasts on the outdoor terrace and the freshly made coffee. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a 10-15 minute walk into Florence.

The staff at this hotel go out of their way to help the guests. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. It’s a good location for most of the popular tourist spots in Florence, located about a mile from the railway station. When the trains had a strike the front desk arranged a car ride for us to get to our next destination!

We loved our time here, the team were very friendly, breakfast was great especially sitting in the garden enjoying it, our room was immaculate & really well presented. From the wonderful greeting to the genuine farewell it was just great here. The centre of Florence is a 20 minute walk away which was fine & meant you escaped the hustle & bustle of the city when returning to the hotel. There are some great bars & restaurants nearby,

Very nice property - decorated with taste and functional.
We arrived at 00:00 - thanks fully we paid attention to the message that check-in stops at 22:00 and we contacted the hotel before coming. We found a person waiting for us with our key and we got into the room quickly -
We tried to connect to the internet - ( it required a voucher code ) - they thought about leaving the code on a note in the room - that was nice - however the best way to access WiFi is simply using the last name and the room number (this could be an improvement )
Nothing to complain about - a very good place - will visit again if we have to come to Florence again

This Hotel was so cozy! Beautiful Rooms, Very Clean, Very Quiet, super easy to get around. The Staff was beyond wonderful. Italian breakfast was fantastic! The private courtyard is perfect to sit and and enjoy your coffee or smoke without having to stand on the street. I cant say enough good things about this hotel. We had a family suite for 3 nights and the room was quite spacious. The hotel is new and clean with elegant interior design; but you’ll need to find a public parking.
The staff was helpful except that the cleaning lady didn’t put enough shampoo and shower gel on the second day and we had to ask twice to the front desk.
Overall it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Beautiful small hotel within walking distance of the sites in Florence. Rooms and bathrooms were large with many amenities. Loved the automatic curtains! Breakfast was excellent with many options. The staff was very helpful and professional. My only comment on the staff occurred when the staff member was showing the room to my sister and me, who were sharing a room, and we asked for a taxi later that evening. She said she would make the arrangements and call us to confirm. My sister answered the phone and gave her the information, my sister thanked her, and she said- thank your wife too!! We were not offended, and had a good laugh, plus my sister's granddaughter is transgender,so that was not an issue. The issue was that the staff member assumed we were a couple (funny because everyone says how much alike we look). Maybe it was a cultural thing but again, one shouldn't assume. However, we loved this hotel and all (sister-in-law was with us too) of us would definitely come back here.

Clean beautiful rooms, modern and very very comfortable. Nice breakfast Great location, yet quite. We stayed in multiple places in Italy and the Messori was by far the nicest and the best value. We stayed three nights and I wished we could have stayed longer.

Location is so-so, not optimal if you don’t have a car.
They cut off the electricity of the room at 12pm sharp, not sure what is the point of that. It is a small place you can just ring the customer to mention this, noone tells you about this during the check-in time.

A really beautiful hotel. It is modern and extremely comfortable - about a 20 minute walk from the dome.
We stayed in a ‘standard’ room but it was very luxurious. The room featured a large, comfortable bed, the bathroom was also very modern with a big walk in shower. Also, a free mini bar in the room with soft drinks!
The staff were lovely and helpful and breakfast was good (continental).

Would not hesistate to stay here again!
