Overall, it is a good hotel. The staff is friendly and kind, which made our stay pleasant. One area that could be improved is the cleanliness of the rooms, as it wasn’t the best even upon arrival. However, after mentioning it to the staff, they promptly took care of the issue.

A great boutique hotel! Lots of great artwork and wonderul ambience in the bar, library, outdoor patio (everyone on the first floor common area), and great music throughout the hotel. The room was very large and clean. Hotel had good amenities and the staff was very helpful providing great recommendations for places to see in Florence and in Tuscany overall.

Highly recommend for solo travelers. It’s easily walkable to the main attractions and the Tram is right across the street. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL! The rooms are spacious and bright. I felt super safe the entire time and there’s a 24 hour bar in the lobby which I utilized every night just to watch my shows and sip on cocktails as a nightcap. The only con was that the towels still had makeup stains when I arrived. But to be fair I 100% believe they were washed and clean but some makeup doesn’t come out of towels so I understand (it happens to me at home)). But you can easily request new ones. I highly highly recommend this hotel.

The Ruby hotel is very modern. Their staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are really cute and very clean. The bar is open 24/7 but they only offer breakfast. There are a lot of cafe’s around but for dinner it’s about a 10-5 minute walk to find good restaurants. The metro stop is very close and can be used as well. I would definitely stay again.

My fiance and I were wowed in the Wow Room, Lovely, spacious, nice balcony, quiet, which overlooked a back courtyard, instagramable. 4 short stops on the T2 Tram from the Central Station, a 25 min to the Duomo and surrounding center area. The continental breakfast was decent, no cooked to order options and most of all the manager and staff were thee nicest, they went out of their way to make our stay in Florence most memorable.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Ruby Bea in Florence Italy! This hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from the train. Our room (the Wow) was spacious and clean. The whole hotel is tastefully appointed. We were greeted with a quick orientation, smiles and espressos, such a welcoming touch. Highly recommend! It was perfect. Great location. Spacious and very clean room. Excellent service from all staff members. Within walking distance to Ponte Vecchio, shops, Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. Lots of thanks to Frederico, Diego, Ida and Carolina. We had a fabulous dinner at Trattoria Tito and other nearby restaurants under 7mins walk from Ruby Bea. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. Excellent English skills plus willing to assist like booking a cab, holding our packages and available to answer our questions. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room is clean, AC works perfect, soundproofing is wonderful. It's a kind of a self service hotel for the other stuff (i.e. no room service, no laundry service.. etc) but the staff at the front desk and bar are super friendly and fun! And hanging out by the bar feels just like home, plus it's open 24/7.

The property is beautiful, elegant, classy, CLEAN, and the STAFF was amazing! THE BED WAS DIVINE!! Easy rest after a full day in Florence. Shopping at City Center was an easy 20min walk but there's plenty transportation right outside the door that'll take you pretty much anywhere you want to go. The Ruby Bea was home for 5 days and I can't wait to go back.

Staff at Ruby Bea Hotel were all amazing. Facilities were really clean and modern. The hotel is away from attractions but is near a lot of bus stops and the tram. They also offer free luggage storage. We were able to further explore Florence after checkout without having to carry around our luggage. Only downside for me, was the breakfast. You have to pay for breakfast and all the breakfast items were cold options (cereal, yogurt, fruit) no hot breakfast items like eggs etc.

We did not get a quiet room, which we had asked for. So we were moved to another room. It was smaller but the hotel would not reduce our rate. When we asked to at least have the breakfast comped they refused.

That room then shorted out our hairdryer at a loss of $200. No one at the hotel could then fix our plugs, they all stopped working, we had no way to use accessories or charge our devices, so we had to move to another room.

That room had no hot water for showers (discovered after we both had to take cold showers) and we were then told the entire hotel's water heater system was on the fritz.

My girlfriend had a migraine, the bar menu was very limited, she wanted a snack, but all 3 floor galleys where they had snacks were out of order.

We left a day early. To the hotel's credit, they refunded our last night that we had paid for but didn't stay. .

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The bar is open 24 hours a day and also serves amazing cocktails and food. The room was quiet and the balcony has a nice view of the Piazza. Unfortunately some ants were coming in from the balcony but otherwise the stay was perfect. Will stay here again!

Our first time at this hotel. From the check-in to the check out we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the hotel.
The staff were welcoming and helpful at all times and took time to get to know us, especially Marco.
The room was very spacious and clean with a view of the piazza.
Loved the “vibe” in the bar area which was also used for breakfast, which was plentiful and varied.
Only small point was that the water in the Galley could have been colder and the vending machine fixed
Overall had a great time at this hotel and would definitely come back.

Fui en familia, nos encantó todo. El hotel tiene un concepto moderno y cuidan los detalles en todo a su alrededor.

El servicio es excelente, todo el equipo nos apoyó en lo que necesitábamos. Rafaella y Marco gentilmente resolvieron nuestras dudas.

Su opcion de desayuno es excelente, si les gusta lo fresco, sano y natural.

El metro está justo frente a el hotel y las camas son cómodas.

Only downside for me was facilities. Air con was poor with it being so hot outside we didn’t sleep well at all. Also kettle tea/coffee and water was in a seperate room a treck away from our hotel room. Would have been nice to have those in our room!

Fantastic stay. Staff were kind and welcoming. The room was in great condition. We had a drink on the terrace which was a lovely treat. The galley on the 4th floor where we stayed, the vending machine was out of order which was a little disappointing, but likely just saved me money in the long run. I loved the free chamomile tea I was able to have before bed.

It was a maze trying to find our room! It was awful! I can not imagine it being any harder to get to a room. After a whole day of walking and site seeing, and having to come back to a room you can't even find was exhausting!

Excellent staff! Our stay at the Ruby Bea Hotel in Florence turned out to be an excellent choice. I have read an earlier review where someone had complained about the check in process here. It could not have been easier! And if at all confused there are staff right there to help you. At first I found it strange to check in at the hotel bar…. In hindsight it is absolutely brilliant!! You check in with the same people who are there to help make your stay amazing. The same staff that checks you in is the same staff that serve you delicious cocktails and wine and water and beer all week long! Checking in like this introduced us to a few members of the staff right away. All the staff were wonderful!! We travel a lot and I feel quite confident in saying that the kindness and service we received from the staff was absolutely genuine. Marco in particular was exceptionally helpful. He was more than happy to help us with any questions we had. All staff were! But we just ended up being around quite often when Marco was working. Vincent was another young man here who we relied on for help and information. He was also a great help. Alexandra was wonderful as well!! All of the staff here that we encountered went above and beyond to be helpful all the while offering great service. The rooms were great and very modern and very clean! The one suggestion I would make is to have coffee machines right in the room. There is a spot down the hallway where you can make a coffee…but

We had a great stay at Ruby Bea in Florence and would definitely recommend it. The room was a bit small with limited storage, but clean and comfy. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

It’s about a 20–25 min walk to the city center, and right by the tram and bus stop—really convenient. The breakfast buffet was tasty and affordable. Only downside was the vending machines didn’t work and there’s no food service at night, but plenty of delivery options nearby.
