Water slide was closed during our stay (one day it was because there was rain in the forecast and another day they count tell me why it was closed). Lots of weed smells all over the property, in elevators, on balconies, in park areas.

Overall, a fantastic facility that is kept very clean. Parking was easy and convenient but check-in was very long and inefficient. We waited in line for over 40 minutes. The room and beds were very comfortable with everything we needed except it was advertised with a Murphy bed that ended up being inaccessible.

There was a roach in the room. The tub was clogged for most of the trip even after someone tried to fix it. Couldn’t check in til after 6:15pm, front staff was not friendly except for the blonde (didn’t get her name). Parking is horrible.. across the street. The DJ and restaurant was nice to have around the pool area

Would definitely return to the property. Could’ve been a little cleaner but overall was decent. Biggest complaint was requested a sheet change due to Misty from humidity. The sheets were left hanging on our door. I expected someone to actually freshen up the room and change the sheets rather than have to change them myself.

We did not have a great experience here. Solo traveling with my kids for a quick beach getaway before school starts. My first interaction with check in process was lacking. It was a bit of a madhouse with parking, loading/unloading. Front desk person was not helpful. Checked in 3:45pm and room not ready- couldn’t give me an estimated time but luckily called me about 30 minutes later that was ready. Our room was the biggest headache. It HAD NOT been taken care of. While it had been “surfaced cleaned”(bathroom clean, linens changed), the room had visible mold, was musty and in general disrepair, carpet/chairs were visibly stained and soiled. I had to contact front desk to change AC unit cover as it had what appeared to be 5 years of dust/dirt accumulated, along with mold/mildew. They did do this quickly. The water options for showers/baths was hot, hotter, or depths of Hades. I feel like it’s usually the opposite problem but no one could take a comfortable shower/bath.
They do have alot of pool options for kids and my kids did enjoy them. Although again, appeared to need to be cleaned a bit more. I was a little confused as how our room was in such bad shape but I always saw employees in lobby cleaning.
We only stayed 2 days so we muddled through but did leave early. If had been staying longer, I would have requested different room/arrangements. I understand this is a high turnover area and being beach front it stays muggy/wet but this was a little much.

The lamp shade appeared to have mold and the chairs were dirty. We had an issue with the card key lock on the door. The battery was dead and we could not get into our room for 2 hours after checking in. During our stay, most of the elevators, except for the North elevator and the service elevator, were not working due to a pipe burst. Also, the hotel did not have water for a few hours due to a scheduled maintenance. We did not have a pleasant experience with Ocean Reef Resort.

This is the most disappointing experience I have ever encountered.
The room was dirty, the smell was unbearable. Broken mirror, dirty stained carpets and furniture, rusty fridge and microwave oven & so much more.
We paid for three nights and checked out after 2 nights, as it was simply unacceptable.
We also took an extra 41 photos. It was very clear that no care for the rooms or their guests was taken.
We as a family unfortunately will not be returning in the future.

Hot in the elevator and getting one up and down was a long wait and a claustrophobic ride. Floors were wet from kids running around. Desk staff were super busy, so not the . The rooms didn't seem renovated to me. It was overcrowded everywhere. Not for me as a solo chill traveler. The families seemed to be having fun. Parking was across the street, and I didn't feel entirely comfortable parking my car across the street. No early check-in. I didn't like the loud country music playing by the pool and restaurant area. My room had a gap between the door and floor, so you could hear all the hall noise inside your room. I checked out after a couple of hours.
