Could hear the family living upstairs, child running up and down, dragging chairs in the morning.
This ‘hotel’ is in a residential building and only occupies 2 floors. Had to use a 7 digit to get onto both floors and to get into the building. No sensor lights working in the stairwell up to the hotel.

Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and responded to any queries or requests efficiently. We arrived quite late but the hotel had sent extensive instructions on how best to travel from the train station to the hotel as well as how to access the room once we arrived. The breakfast was perfect - it had a range of cereals, pastries etc and a fantastic coffee. It is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Florence. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It's close to downtown and has a good breakfast (Italian standard and portions, not as diverse as American!). Big washroom and shower. The only issue was that our room was smelling cigarette and opening windows for 3 days didn't help.

The hotel seemed like it was apart of appartment blocks. There were some stairs (just to bear in mind for accessibility). It's cosy, cute and sufficed for a couple nights stay. The city centre is about a 20 min walk, with great bus links into the centre and also tram links near by for the airport. Staff were nice and helpful.

Andreas and the girls were very nice and helpful. The hotel is very charming, we had the room with the patio (the one with the guys on bikes shown in the pictures), super clean, breakfast was good.
The hotel has a mixed vibe of the past and present which makes it cool! The elevator is one of those old ones that you close both doors, but it works!

The location was ok, we had to walk a lot to find restaurants, it's not close to tourism attractions, it's near to the Campo de Marte train station, 10 minutes walking.

I have no idea how this hotel has such good reviews. First of all, the bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on in my life. Barely an upgrade over sleeping on the floor. I kid you not, our first morning there, we woke up with sore hips (my husband and I are both side-sleepers). My hips felt bruised! The room was dusty- the drapes were covered in dust like no one has even thought to give them a good shaking out. There were spider cobwebs on the ceiling, dust under the bed, and the bathroom was full of black mold. Lastly, the entire room has cracking and peeling paint. The only good things to note about this place was the staff - very nice and friendly, the breakfast- very very good, and the AC worked great. Despite the pros, I would never recommend this place or stay here again.

The hotel room was very large and kept very clean.
Check in was strange as the hotel location and level were not made clear so it was a guessing game with how to get in and what floor I should go to. This could be resolved easily with both clear communication from the hotel prior to check in and signage at the entrance and in the lift. I also found the stairwell was very dark and the light sensors didn't turn on until you were halfway up the stairs.

Lovely hotel for 1-2 nights. Our room had a very cute balcony. Only problem for me was the super tiny shower, I guess it’s how is in Italy, but for Me and my husband, both are very tall (6’2 and 5’8), was a struggle to shower. Breakfast was ok. I wish they could add a few more options and some cream cheese. But I would definitely go back!

Far above expectations! For a relatively cheap hotel we were expecting a standard room and standard service. The rooms were exceptionally spacious, modern and clean, there was a lovey little balcony too (see photos!)

During check in we were given a map with the receptionist giving a run through of the sights and how best to plan our limited number of days. We were also given restaurant recommendations with him offering to book us a taxi and reservation for that night (this was very helpful as we had arrived late ).

We then mentioned that one of us was gluten free and the receptionist noted it for breakfast time and we were given a separate plate with gluten free cakes, pastries and snacks… some extras which we brought for throughout the day as finding gf snacks can be difficult! All of the food was fab (much more selection than standard continental) and there was a little outside patio you could eat in the summer.

The hotel was walking distance from the train station and city centre too which made things easy.

Excellent experience could not recommend more!

Highly recommended individual hotel.

2 night stay for a family sight seeing trip. Good location approx. 20 minute walk from the centre. Don't be put off by the entrance, a simple but tastefully decorated hotel with good sized rooms and a terrace where you can have breakfast. No reception after 9.00PM which we'd forgotten about but Andrea called and made sure we could get into the hotel, very helpful and professional.

Unique hotel situated inside a residential apartment block in Florence. You get your own entry code to get into the building whenever you need to. The staff and manager are super nice and so helpful with everything. An almost convenient location for tourist: 20 minutes walk straight line from Il Duomo. Clean room, recent renovated, quite area. Good breakfast.
Need to be aware it does not have 24h reception. But once the check-in done, this is not necessary an inconvenience.
Staff was friendly and very helpful; really helpful with an early check-in, avoid a 20+20 minutes walk (on a tight schedule).

Nice hotel in a previous apartment building, at a quiet neigborhood (not overrun by tourists). The location is not central, but nevertheless very much within walking distance of most attractions.

Our room was smallish but clean. The breakfast was excellent in quality and variety, and the staff was extremmely pleasant and helpful.

Definitely a good value for money and worth recommending.

Excellent choice for a visit to Florence. A nice walk (20 minutes or so) to all the museums, the Arno, and tons of great restaurants. Our room was spacious and had tall ceilings with a cute balcony overlooking the street. Domenico messaged me the day before arrival to confirm what time we would get to the hotel, and when we arrived he kindly assisted with all of our luggage. The breakfast buffet was delicious, it had scrambled eggs, several types of cold cuts and cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, a few different types of fresh pastries, bread, cereal, juice, hot tea, and an espresso machine. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Florence!

This hotel is actually inside of an apartment complex and you have to call the front desk when you get there for them to help you up. They are on the 2nd floor but the elevator is very tiny so you really can't fit inside of it with your luggage. We checked in with Luccia and she was so sweet and accommodating. She saw that we each had a large suitcase and showed us the room we had booked because she didn't think we would fit comfortably with them. She showed us the larger room with a chaise and balcony and offered us an upgrade for a small fee.

The hotel was in a great location close to the Duomo and great restaurants. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the hotel was beautiful. Only bummer was that the walls were very thin and we could hear them cleaning the rooms early in the mornings. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

An excellent boutique hotel - perfect stay. The staff was really friendly and helpful - making us an espresso on the spot and also allowed us a late check out when we were tired from our late night walks in Florence. The room was very clean and brand new. The detail and design of the hotel was excellent as well. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was about 20 min walk to the main sites and there was a grocery store about a block around the corner as well.

We verbleven 5 nachten in kamer 202. Het hotel was zeer goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer om de stad in zijn volledigheid te verkennen, ook buiten het toeristische centrum. Het was ongeveer 20 minuten aan een goed tempo wandelen naar de Duomo.

Kamer 202 was cozy, mooi en proper, met een goed werkende airconditioning.
Elke dag werd de kamer grondig schoongemaakt met vers badlinnen. Het verdiep erboven is geen onderdeel van het hotel, maar de bovenburen zijn op werkdagen luidruchtig in de ochtend.

Het ontbijtbuffet was gevarieerd, maar wel elke dag exact hetzelfde. Voor een langer verblijf (> 3 nachten) vonden we het te weinig afwisselend. Het ontbijtterras was een oase van rust.
De manager was zeer vriendelijk en gaf goede tips. Het personeel bij het ontbijt was beleefd, maar onpersoonlijk (er was geen ruimte voor conversatie).

Conclusie: een zeer goed hotel voor een citytrip.
