I had a wonderful stay at A Glimpse Hotel in Florence. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and immediately felt well taken care of. The hotel is quaint, spotless, and beautifully maintained, which made it feel both cozy and comfortable.

The location is perfect centrally located and easy to walk everywhere, yet still quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of fresh options to start the day right.

Overall, this hotel felt like a hidden gem. I truly enjoyed my stay and will absolutely be staying here again the next time I’m in Florence.

This place went above and beyond my expectations. The staff is incredible. They have coffee and breakfast in the morning and even called a car very early in the am for the airport and somoene was at the desk and provided a \"to go\" breakfast. It was truly something special. The staff is really great they even offered suggestions for shopping and food. The rooms are nice, especially for Florence where you can get an unsuspecting mix due to the old properties and the location is right in the middle of everything so can easily walk to the Duomo or all the historical sites. I 100% reccomend this hotel. Only thing to note is that the bath tub in my room was quite tall and someone on the shorter stature or with disabilities would have trouble getting in and out. Not sure if this was just my room or not, but definitely ask the staff in advance if concerned. Otherwise, 10/10 and will absolutely go back next time I am in florence.

Room was very well done. Very comfortable king bed. It was clean, quiet, and quaint. Walking distance from everything. All my wife and did was walk around and we enjoyed every moment. Staff and concierge were extremely helpful and accommodating - it was perhaps the best part of the hotel. They never said no. I will definitly come back here when I revisit.

I had to check in late on a sunday night, and I was a bit worried about how it would go, but the experience was fantastic from the moment I arrived. There was someone at the front desk ready to greet me, which was such a relief after a long day of travel. To top it off, they offered me complimentary champagne at check-in—a wonderful touch that made me feel welcome right away!

The staff also arranged a late checkout for me, which was incredibly helpful and allowed me to enjoy my stay without feeling rushed. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the little extras really made a difference. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back! Location is perfect as well!

Glimpse Hotel is in an excellent location—walking distance to all the main sights, making it ideal for first-time visitors. The central setting does mean it can be noisy, but that’s expected in such a vibrant area. The service was outstanding—staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with great variety and quality. A few drawbacks to note: the mattress wasn’t very comfortable, the shower is inside a high bathtub which can be difficult to get in and out, and there’s no real lobby area to relax. Overall, a great base for exploring Florence.

Wonderful experience! Very nice hotel, with great staff! Ovidio was just amazing, he welcomed us, showed us everything we needed to know about Florence on the map, got us reservations for a guided tour of the Acadamia, made dinner reservations, and was so very helpful. At breakfast, Yulia was so nice and friendly. All the staff were helpful, but these two were just exceptional!! The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, updated, walkable to most everything in Florence, and not on an overly crowded street. We would definatley recommend and hope to return.

Sanctuary in Busy Florence

We had a wonderful stay at Glimpse. The entire staff were so helpful and friendly including Alina, Yulia, Bernardo and Mario. I could not have asked for a better location. The hotel was just a few minutes from the Duomo and everything else was within walking distance. Also the free breakfast was amazing!

Best hotel staff ever

Really cool, modern meets Renaissance property and conveniently located to the Duomo. The cafe in the lobby area is a beautiful and tasty place for a break between sites. However, the best aspect by far are the staff - I have NEVER met hotel staff this genuinely friendly, thoughtful, and going above and beyond the way that Mario, Alina, and Yuliia do. I've stayed at 5 star hotels that can't compete with this team.

Beautiful stay for a night in Florence. Rooms were larger than you would expect and we had a queen size bed. Well equipped and the front desk was very helpful in getting us places to go. We left AirPods behind and they called us and arranged for us to get them back. Great service!

AMAZING!!! It’s a small boutique hotel with unbelievable staff that go above and beyond to make sure you have a perfect stay. This is the only hotel for me in Florence and the BEST minestrone soup is across the street.

Marta and her staff were perfecto! They were professionals when it came to hospitality. The hotel is small and quaint but that is to its advantage. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The front desk staff - led by Marta - were always available to offer tips and directions. And Yulia behind the bar was ready with a drink or a coffee whenever you needed one. I recommend staying at the Glimpse (which I assume is named because you can get a glimpse of the Duomo just a short distance away) anytime you’re in Florence.

Fantastic check-in for road weary travelers!

Check in was great. We arrived early to Florence from Venice and instead of citing check-in and arrival policy, the staff worked hard to get our room ready. They made us feel welcome, provided food and other amenities to make us comfortable. The staff is very friendly and courteous.

My husband and another couple started at this boutique hotel which we found so adorable. The staff is very friendly the rooms are not very big but beds are super comfy. The breakfast was excellent. The best is that it’s super walkable to restaurants and many sightseeing locations. They offer valet parking for an extra fee which is definitely needed if you have a car! We never stayed at a boutique hotel but this one we all loved!

My stay at the glimpse hotel was perfect.

The staff at the front greeted us immediately. I was able to take a train early from Bologna to get to Florence before check in time of 3 pm and arrived at around 11 am. Therefore they did not have my room ready, nor was I expecting them to. But the lady at the front desk was able to expedite the turnover and had us in within the hour. Thank you!

The barista was also delightful by serving us a glass of water, tea and coffee immediately as we were waiting for the room.

They have a small waiting area that also functioned as their cafe and breakfast area. The breakfast here is unparalleled. Everything is made to order and fresh. The selection is amazing. Anywhere from smoked salmon to freshly baked pies and cookies. They also can accomodate food allergies and do special requests for meals/substitutions.

The place is clean, modern and well run. The room was spacious, the bed was sooo comfortable! And the pillows were full and firm. Unlike some hotels, this bed is actually a one mattress queen/king bed and not two beds pushed together. Large shower and plenty of storage space. There is also complementary water and treats.

It is also steps away from major attractions and sites. There are even a couple of amazing restaurants right next door!

Since the reception is 24hrs, we also were able to leave and satisfy our 3 am McDonald's munchies run which happens to be a 3 minute walk away!

Can't recommend this place enough!

I can honestly say that the service, welcome and friendliness was unequalled. The folks arranged that the cat was valet parked and returned when ended, we received a delightful welcome including a glass of Prosecco, and the room, breakfast and service were impeccable. Top notch!

Nice but a bit tight

The style of the hotel was really nice but the room we had was too small for two people with more than one suitcase.
There was very little space to lay out our luggage, so we were jumping over our suitcases as we didn’t want to unpack since we were only staying one night. Also the single corner sink in the bathroom was crazy small with nowhere to put toiletries at all.
A small shelving unit next to the sink would be sensible.
The shower looked nice but was very narrow and tight. Not good for larger people.
Breakfast was excellent!
Location was very central and convenient
Also, thr AC wasn’t cold enough for July heat.
Having a car was tricky as Florence has restrictions to enter the city centre so one needs to discuss with hotel for options…

We had a wonderful Four- night stay at the Glimpse Hotel starting with the check in. We were warmly, greeted and welcomed by Alina at the front desk. She took her time to explain all the hotel's amenities and important information. Also, the staff greeted us every time we exited and entered the hotel. That made us feel welcome. I also, want to give a special note of gratitude to the staff working in the breakfast dining area. They provided excellent service with a smile. This hotel makes the breakfast to order, which is great and they have something for everyone's taste. Finally, a special thank you to the ladies doing house keeping, they did an impeccable job with the upkeep of the room. They are very efficient and pay a lot of attention to detail. Even though this job is not easy, they still manage to keep a smile on her face at all times. The room was a good size, the bathroom was big with plenty of space for storing all your personal toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciate the extra memory foam topper. It made the mattress extra comfortable. All in all, we had an excellent stay at The Glimpse hotel. Keep up the great customer service and hospitality!
