We loved the hotel. The staff was attentive and added personal touches that took the stay to the next level. The evening wine happy hour was a hit. We generally had dinner around 7:45 each night, which meant we had time to have glass of wine or two at the hotel before dinner. The staff was caring, generous, and always helpful with taxis or recommendations.

We would love to stay here again, and the location is perfect. It might be the smallest hotel at which we had ever stayed, but it was charming beyond belief, and we had a wonderful time. Ciao!

This was a great small boutique style hotel. The location was centrally located and had great views of the Duomo from the window! The decor is excellent and posh.
The staff were friendly, especially Agnus and Julia. Breakfast was wonderful and happy hour is a special touch. Our room had some AC issues, but our children’s room was fine and much cooler than ours.
There are many stairs leading up the hotel itself so if you don’t like elevators or cannot walk up many flights this is not the hotel for you.

We had a good start to the stay, we were allowed early check-in, and received a bottle of prosecco as the expedia member perk as it was my birthday on check-in. The location is excellent and convenient to come back to freshen up in the heat. The aircon seemed to struggle a little to reach the temp it was set to, which could be problematic for people used to sleeping in the aircon in the heat. We unfortunately booked for 1 instead of 2, and we're charged 30 euros per day, 4x the amount of the price difference, so be careful of any additional charges here.

Premium hostel In a great location

my first sensation was quite a bit odd, it is supposed to be a 4 star hotel but was more likely a “premium hostel”, the particular thing is that this “hotel” is located on a second floor in a building. Then we arrived late in the evening and the first thing said when we entered is that check in is up to 9pm, then the room is comfortable but like a said is a bedroom in an apartment.
Finally I asked the night before at was time was check out and the guy told me at noon, the day of the check out I re check and asked for a check out at 1pm cause I don’t like to be in a rush and I wanted to have breakfast and solve some issues, the woman at the front desk asked “3 hours for breakfast?” and I think that was completely rude from her. Long story short we ended up checking out 10.30.

Cons: first night was freezing, then they turned on the heating. Could improve the way to communicate sometimes.
And to be honest at the last minute when we were leaving with our bags (2.45p) there was another woman but in this case she was extremely nice.
I do not recommend this “hotel” and if im writing this review is because I mean it.

Location is fabulous and the hotel has a charming interior design and friendly staff, but be prepared for a not so great first impression when you arrive at the building. The entrance and interior corridor are musty and drab. (The hotel is on the second floor.) Our room was small but pretty, the bathroom very nice, but the timber ceiling gave way to hearing all the stomping back and forth above us. We didn't receive our welcome bottle of wine as was in our Expedia reservation, but no big deal. I'm on the fence about returning to this hotel, but I think it's worth a second look.

Perfect spot for a few nights in Florence. Right next to all the popular attractions, great restaurants on the same block, and a short walk from the train station. Descent hotel for the price. Room is clean but it has a smell. Location is central, walking distance to everywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby. Thomaso was very kind. He was very helpful and took good care of the guests. Daily complimentary happy hour at 6-8pm is wonderful! Breakfast is delicious with a fee. The only minor issue for us was that one of the lady staffs wasn’t very nice. She gave us an attitude. I would leave out her name just out of courtesy, but I would be glad to provide details to the management if asked upon.

The staff were incredibly attentive, warm and friendly and they had helpful dining and sightseeing suggestions. The staff was lovely, knowledgeable and helpful with everything I needed. The hotel was so charming and perfectly located to walk all over Florence. Everything was very clean and worked great. It was very quiet and I was able to make it quite dark as well, to help adjust my sleep to Italy time. I found the bed a little firm but I’m used to a softer bed at home. The breakfast was fresh, I especially enjoyed the fruit - however I will say it is pretty limited for a healthier meal if you’re not looking to fill up on carbs. Otherwise everything was lovely!

Nice boutique hotel, Great staff

The hotel was lovely but it was the staff that made the experience so great. Valentina went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Unique hotel in the centre of Florence, beautifully decorated throughout with very helpful and friendly staff, had a very comfortable stay and it was very convenient for exploring Florence- we got excellent suggestions on restaurants and other things not too miss. Would recommend highly.

We Absolutely loved this hotel best one out of 4 we stayed at in Italy. The woman working here were very accommodating. Close to everything in Florence. Nice coffee and pastries and nice happy hour each evening. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

This was our favorite place we stayed in Italy! The hotel is lovely the staff is so helpful. Breakfast was so nice! We could walk back for breaks in the day it was close everything. Our view was amazing!!. It’s worth the money! It made our time in Florence so enjoyable.

The hotel is adorable and in a great location within walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. The best part of our visit to the Arte Hotel was the outstanding service and care we received from Aneta and her work partner (I'm sorry I don't recall her name) It felt like a 5 star hotel experience at a 3 star price. It's obvious they both love what they do and they do it very well ! We will definitely return to the Arte Hotel on our next visit to Firenze.

Couple problems with the room: sink wouldn’t drain properly and sewer stink comes up from the pipes. Also upstairs tenant walks around with high heels for hours at all hours of the day and night and it echos through the room since it’s hardwood floors up there too. I would say room is not very sound proof so I had to wear earplugs. Area is great and the staff was great as well. Very helpful.

The service is amazing they are very attentive and kind...I would say there are 2 negative things to say about this boutique hotel. 1 which is not their fault, the entire building smells like moisture has settled in. 2 I do think a good paint job or touch up paint would help make the hotel look better.

The hotel area is great , location is awesome. The service is good . Now this is my opinion for start city tax have to paid in cash, ( I wish they let me know in the website) . Second I visited the city in November , the heater is not by controlled by the room meaning the room got really hot and you don’t have A/C , they told us open the window , but when you opened the window mosquito and bugs get in. It’s was a nightmare. I expressed my situation and i only got I’m sorry. It’s was hard to get some sleep. I wish I got another hotel, even this one is was beautiful one .
