Hotel is 1-2min walk to the subway, but there isn't any attraction/ interesting shop nearby.

Humble Boutique Hotel is conveniently located near to both the metro and bus stop, and is just minutes away from Xinyi. The service and facilities were excellent. Definitely my preferred place to stay when I am in Taipei

A wonderful staff. After arriving at the hotel after along flight, I left my phone in the taxi's cab. The hotel staff checked the cc-tv and got the license plate. And then found the contact information of the driver. They made sure to get my phone from him and deliver back to my room.

We made an honest mistake in booking Humble Boutique Hotel when we intended to reserve a room at Humble House. Unfortunately, we only realized the error upon checking in at Humble House. We immediately called Humble Boutique and emailed Hotels.com, hoping they would show some consideration by granting at least a partial refund for the 3rd and 4th nights of our booking. We recognize that the mistake was on our part and are prepared to shoulder a reasonable cost for it. But charging us for the full 4-night stay, without any consideration or flexibility, is excessive and unjustifiable. It’s disappointing that despite our immediate effort to rectify the situation, no accommodation was made
Instead, we received a generic, impersonal response stating that it’s against their policy to issue a refund. What’s disappointing is that their policy supposedly allows cancellations up to 24 hours before check-in — yet in this case, we were denied any flexibility.
Given the circumstances, we feel this was handled poorly and without regard for customer experience. Because of this, we will not be recommending this hotel, nor the booking platform, to others.

Had a wonderful stay at the Humble. It is conveniently located, close to a subway stop for 2 major lines. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool + sauna in the morning before heading out for visits.
The service was outstanding. The staff was so helpful and kind. Our return flight was late in the evening, so after checking out we spent the whole day out and about in Taipei. When we came back to pick up our luggage, they very graciously let us take a shower in the gym. It was so nice to be able to refresh before getting on a long flight. We love the bubble water and drinking water refill station on every floor. We especially love the location which is very close to the MRT and bus station. The shower water is very hot and strong. The drip coffee is excellent. The only slight downside is there is not much room to store clothes.

This was my 3rd time stay in this hotel because my previous experience was very good. We encountered an incident on double booking. However, the staff help me with patience to solve the issue. The location is excellent, there are many delicious restaurants within 500 meters, I stayed for 6 days and still haven't eaten all the food in these alleys. MRT station is just next to the hotel.

Always love this hotel. Chic design with comfort in mind. Memory foam pillows provided, spacious rooms, Japanese bidet, and high-end bath products. Great coffee in the cafe on 2nd floor. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Subway is right next to the hotel. Will definitely come back

A beautiful boutique hotel
The hotel is less than 50 metres away from mrt. We booked King corner and we loved it very much. The room is spacious and my favourite is the bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows (the best 3 hotels with most comfortable pillows). Gym is huge in Taipei context and the pool is of decent size with steam room and sauna. As for breakfast, it is very normal.

Other than the standard good stuff (location, cleanliness, hotel facilities), this hotel offers very attentive service for its guests. We notified the the hotel that we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they provided little decorations and amenities for us when we checked in, which showed that they cared for their guests.
Areas of improvement - the counter at check-in and check-out times had only 1 staff, causing long waits. I expected a little more for a hotel of this size and level. But when it got to our turn the staff was extremely attentive and patient.
As an Expedia VIP member - unfortunately we did not get a room upgrade nor late checkout (but it was during the holiday peak period so understandable). Perhaps this program is not as well known in Taiwan as we had other experiences in other hotels (in non peak periods) where we were also not offered those benefits. Such benefits were almost always graciously offered in Europe and Canada without asking.
Overall a great experience, we have already booked our next stay in a few months.

Pro: Spacious room, we were able to open up our luggages without space issue. Convenient, a min walk to convenience stores, restaurants, MRT, or bus station. Really friendly, efficient, and helpful staffs. Free amenities includes still and sparkling water, snacks, can coffee and beer.
Con: We were assigned to room 309 the first night which was facing the main street. There was a lot of noise from the traffic. I brought it up to front desk the next morning and was switched to room 507 the remaining two nights. This room was facing the next building. There was still noise from traffic but signifcantly less. There was construction with the next building so had to be mindful to keep the curtains closed. The toilet and bathroom area was separated. The toilet didn’t have a small sink so had to walk to the bathroom to wash hands. The closet was in the bathroom and the door to the bathroom doubled as door for the closet. I think it would be better to make the closet as an open one accessing from the outside.
Overall it was a good hotel to stay and loved that they are green.

Hotel facilities are great and rooms a really good size. But there is no flexibility and service is pretty poor.
You need to block a slot to use the pool - like COVID. Last order is at 9pm at restaurant and bar but it stays open until 10:30pm. But then the staff are watching you and it makes for a poor experience - even after complaining in the first night. The hotels is awesome - the team and rules make it feel really inflexible. I wouldn’t stay again.

The first two nights stayed at Corner view room which is not a corner view room with two sides windows as most other hotels. Later was changed to another room which is much better. There is no place inside the hotel for relaxing or meet with visitors. It is just not a hotel for business.

The hotel is excellent, only the pillows are rather hard. Although the Staff tried very hard to find softer pillows but there werent any softer ones. but thats just very personal. The room next to street can be noisy, so may need to specially request quiet room, like room 003/004 which in the quieter side.
