The room is small but very clean and nice. There is a desk which is plus for me since I work from home. Daily room cleaning is provided along with 2 free bottles of water every day. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have free wifi, a computer for guests to use and faxing services. Most things are within walking distance. Even the bus and train station. There is also a park and an area to walk or sit by the seaside. It was a great experience.

Not so green hotel

The desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The general condition of the hotel is rundown. The room was tiny, but I expected that. What I didn't expect was that dirty feeling. Sticky carpet. There was a sock from a previous guest on the floor. The mattress was too soft and I was not sure I wanted to sleep under the covers. The unit bathroom was almost too small to move in, let alone bathe in. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Clean and comfortable room, although quite small.
Front desk staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Several communicated in passable English, although I speak Japanese so it was not an issue.

Although I drove, the hotel is in an excellent location, directly across the main road from the Sasebo Train Station.

Cheap hotel. You get what you pay for.

This hotel is ideally located across the street from a train station and is within walking distance from a plethora of shops and restaurants, but that is where the positive attributes end. The hotel is dirty, and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Specifically, when I asked the front desk to print an itemized receipt for my stay (which my employer requires), at first they refused, when I insisted, they seemed annoyed, as if I was inconveniencing them by asking a \"business\" hotel for an invoice. I wasn't impressed by the quality of the food at the hotel restaurant either. The only reason I didn't cancel my reservation and change hotels is that there were no vacancies anywhere else.

Don’t stay here unless you have to.

The rooms are the average small Japanese hotel rooms, so that’s not so bad. The pillows are filled with half hard and half soft materials and are rather uncomfortable. The hotel has medium speed WiFi that I was able to stream Netflix with moderate interference.
Security:
1. The WiFi is all on unsecured routers.
2. The doors do not lock by themselves. You must manually lock the door when you leave or after entering the room.
3. The maids open all of the rooms on the floor at one time and leave them open while cleaning throughout the day. I think to allow the rooms to air out.

Annoyances:
1. Maids will not knock on your door. Instead they hang a do not disturb sign and continue on to the next room. Later, they get the front desk to call your room to ask if you would like a cleaning.
2. It’s November, and average temperatures outside are nice and cool. The A/C was changed to heat or fan only. The room gets stuffy and uncomfortable very quickly. The window does not have a screen, and the street outside is busy and rather loud, so opening the window is not a very good option.
3. The rooms are not very clean. The sheets get changed every day and some stuff gets wiped down, but there is a lot of dust everywhere. The rooms have not been deep cleaned in a long time. If you move anything, you will find thick layers of dust and possibly trash that fell behind the furniture as I did. I had the clean the A/C screens myself, so air could properly pass through.

Decent Hotel and Great Location!

A very decent place to stay. It was a last minute booking, and an emergency stay in Sasebo. However, it was an amazing shelter for us!
The breakfast was really good, it was so filling that we didn't eat much the entire day. The price was decent and it was very convenient, 1 minute away Sasebo station!

Cozy hotel, cold ac that stays on, kind staff

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, although small (Double size), and the staff were kind and accomodating. There were some English speaking staff.

Upon check in, there were no mention of free breakfast. Come to find out my reservation included free breakfast. On the second and third day, I asked for and receive the coupons for the breakfast. But from the forth day on, the front desk wanted to charge me 510 yen for each day. I wonder if they knew what they are doing.
