I fell in love with the hotel the minute I walked in it. Emma at the front desk was exceptionally kind and gracious. I arrived early and she made it a point of her duty to get my room ready. Thanks Emma. Mathis was also very helpful. Breakfast was fresh every day. My room was cool and fresh. I recommend this hotel. Everything is right there as you walked through those hotel doors ❤️

The courtyard-facing room I had on the fifth floor was clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Breakfast varied and delicious, including fresh fruit, juices, yogurts, eggs, cheeses and meats. The furniture in the room did show some wear.

We loved the location of this hotel! Notre Dame a few blocks away. Metro stop about a block. So many restaurants and shops all around including an amazing piano bar that we went to after dinner multiple times.
Room is small but location totally won us over. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Did not have breakfast. Rooms were warm. Bed was comfortable but ask for extra pillows. Room was small but this is normal for Paris as most hotels are old buildings. 24 hour receiption and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is super. Metro saint michael only a few minutes walk. Great for accessing the city (straight run to the eiffel tower, 1 change for montmartre). Only a few minutes walk to Notre damn and maybe 15 minutes to the louvre. Loads of places to eat/drink/shop near the hotel. Pont neuf bridge quite near and you can get boat trips on the seine from there.

The location is fabulous! So close to the subway and within walking distance of many attractions. We stayed in a 2 twin room. It was larger than expected and cozy. The room also had a French balcony overlooking the street which was wonderful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the staff was attentive and kind. We will definitely be back.

The walls are very thin and you can hear the people in the room next to you. We had to ask to change rooms because the people next door were being very loud at late hours and not allowing us to sleep. We noticed after the room switch (which the staff was very kind about) that we could still here the room next door but they weren’t as boisterous as the original room. The hotel is walking distance to Notre Dame and the metro.

I chose to stay here for 4 nights due to its close proximity to the Notre Dame cathedral, Seine River, Louvre, and most importantly, the metro and RERB stations. It is a two minute walk from the station and very convenient if you plan to use the metro and the bus. Very convenient.
The staff are courteous and helpful. These reasons I’m giving it stars. I had to take off two stars because it is not worth the expensive rate due to the small size of the room for the price. It is super tiny and there’s almost no space to walk around Specially if you put your luggage on the floor. We had to put our luggage inside the closet just so we can walk, one person at a time, on the open spaces. Likewise, the bathroom is super small, even found one tiny cockroach. The heater in the room Didn’t work, but the staff was kind enough to give us a portable heater. It was freezing cold outside and raining.
If you dont mind the tiny room and bathroom for more than $200 a night, then book here.

Staff was friendly and helpful and were able to accommodate an early check in. Location was close to metro and bus lines. I was cold but the staff kindly let us borrow a space heater. Located near a busy street but didn't experience too much outside noise. However, inside walls were thin and it was easy to hear cleaning and conversations happening in the hallway close to our room.

The Hotel St. Severin is in a wonderful location. Walkable to many sites especially Notre Damn. There are many restaurants and other connivences nearby as well.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and provided us with information about the area. The service was attentive when we needed something during our stay.

Our stay was short so room size did not really matter, if we had a longer stay we would have liked a bigger room, which I do think they have. Inquire when booking about this. Our shower and vanity were in the same room and there was no division or door to the shower- this was less than ideal because of flooding and the whole room got wet when using the shower. They do have other types of bathrooms in the hotel, inquire when you book.
Overall, this hotel was great for our needs our only complaint was the bathroom/shower area.

The breakfast was well worth the extra fee. Fresh fruits and pastries and the service was so pleasant and welcoming. The location was the primary reason for booking…in the Latin Quarters with lots of food options from quick walk in restaurants as well as nicer restaurants. The wide range of cuisine from all different countries provided many options. The metro was less than a 5 min walk. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions and transportation services.

Walls were thin so could hear a lot. Road noise not too bad if window closed. Water pressure was great but water temperature was inconsistent going from hot to cold back to hot. Front desk personnel not very warm and welcoming. Only offering in lobby was water but often there was no water or clean glasses. Bed was very comfortable.

The hotel area is very well situated - close to Notre Dame and the major sites. Very walkable area. However, the corner block that the hotel is located in is very busy and quite touristy with cheap cafes, souvenir stands, etc. So the street was noisy and busy late into the night, and it may be hard to sleep depending on the location of your room Rooms quite small with minimal decor.

Our stay was only one night but it was very satisfactory. The fellow at the front desk was extremely helpful with everything especially letting us in on the fact that there is an outdoor elevator 2 blocks away directly into the St Michel-Notre Dame train station. The breakfast room was tidy & well-stocked. The room although it had a balcony over the street was very small as per older European hotels. Bed comfy, sheets nice, everything clean but room size just a tad crowded for 2 people. A good little place though.

The location of this property is perfect for walking to multiple main attractions (Notre Dame!!! The Louvre!) and is mere minutes from the rail system. Many eateries of varying levels are within a block or 2 and the Saint Michel area is great for cafes, crepes and people watching.

Our room was small and cramped. Despite that the room and bathroom were clean. The safe was not bolted down so we did not feel comfortable leaving our valuables in the safe.
The reception/front desk staff were excellent especially Louis who gave us valuable information about getting around Paris. He was a wealth of knowledge of every thing \"Paris\" and we are especially grateful to him.
The breakfast offered had an array of choices.
There are many choices of restaurants and bars steps away from the hotel. Also several small grocery stores within easy walking distance.
It is a short walk to Notre Dame Cathedral, the Metro, and most other transportation that one may need. The Hop On Hop Off buses are also close by and within easy walking distance.
Highly recommend investing in good walking shoes as there are many cobblestone streets.
