Absolutely magical! The Lorelei Hotel is hands down the most beautiful and charming boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The design is stunning, every corner is thoughtfully curated, and the views are breathtaking. But what truly sets it apart is the service — warm, attentive, and genuinely above and beyond.

On our last morning, we had an early taxi to Naples, and they surprised us with breakfast packed and ready in the car. It’s those thoughtful touches that make you feel so cared for. From start to finish, our stay was nothing short of perfect. I’m already dreaming about coming back.

This is a wonderful property with great views of the Sorrento coast and Mt Vesuvius. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to town central you very easy access to all the restaurants and shops, yet a quiet escape from all the bustle of town when you want it. It has a really great Michelin-star restaurant and the breakfast every morning is wonderful. On nice days you can sit outside and enjoy the weather, the views and the vibes. It has a great bar outside as well and many people go there for the sunset drinks and views. We stayed in Sorrento as our base and just took ferry day trips to the rest of the Amalfi Coast and Capri. Some people would want to stay for a few nights at each place but we didn’t want to lug our suitcases around - it was the perfect move for us. Sorrento has so many dining options and some of the best gelato in alll of Italy.

We reserved a suite for 5 nights at this 5 star hotel which I'm really not sure haw it's rated as 5 stars
When I made the reservation i paid for seaview suit and i asked for a car ride from Rome and agreed to pay 500 euro extra for the ride, to start with the car was supposed arrive at 1:00 P.M We waited for the car and no one showed up till 2 o'clock i called the hotel and they said the driver is late because of an accident on the way, and i asked the person why he didn't call me or email me his reply that he called the hotel in Rome, I'm not really understanding why they didn't contact me this is just careless towards the gusts
We had to wait till 2:30 till they arranged another car since i told them if the car is not coming i will get my own transportation
When we arrived to the hotel we were very disappointed at everything and how rude the staff is, no one is even apologizing for what happened
We checked in and we go to the room which it should be a suit and Seaview and it was not completely Seaview and it was very small room, when we asked the girl at the front desk to upgrade she told me that all the rooms are same size and if i wanted to get another room i will have to pay extra 300 euro per night or wait till next day to move to another room so we stayed at the same room for the night
After that my wife wanted to take a shower and we were just surprised that the shower inside the bathtub which is completely dangerous for anyone trying to jump inside or out after.

Not what it lived up to be

Very disappointed in what was something labeled a 5 star. I know European hotel stars differ significantly from US and other locations, but this was sadly disappointing.

The staff were fantastic, the breakfast was very good, the bed was firm and very comfortable but the problems were:

- the room never got below 22c (72F) despite a thermostat on the wall that let you reduce temp to 15C but effectively do nothing. My wife went to reception to mention the temp and they said they could adjust from the lobby - after 3 days it never got below 21.3C.

- the smell from the bathroom was brutal. Some locations in Europe have a sulfurous smell from the water (algarve region as an example), but here the bathroom smell was rank and the heat only made it worse. It’s like there were no P-Traps in the drains kinda bad.

- the furniture is past its prime, while pics paint it as a Greek island light, bright and airy theme, the turquoise furniture was grubby and badly stained. The white walls were scuffed and the white shiny floor tiles chipped.

For context we paid around $1800 a night and I’d be disappointed paying half that in Sorrento, Turks and Caicos, Cayman Islands or anywhere else based on AC and bathroom alone.

We have just left Lorelei Londres after a 7 night stay. It is our first time to Italy and we started here. The Hotel and staff are simply wonderful. Always extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a junior suite room with a balcony and jacuzzi with amazing views of Sorrento.

The Restaurant staff were just were all wonderful, and Valentina was just a wonderful bright and cheery face to see every morning. After the 2nd day she knew our breakfast preference and always brought us the cake of the day. Edna made our amazing coffees every morning also knowing our preferences. Restaurant for breakfast does not open till 7am however Edna made us a take away this morning prior to 7 as our transport was picking us up at 7am.

Location was just perfect approx 15 mins walk into main town Sorrento.

The sunset bar was simply Devine overlooking the bay of Sorrento.

I would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. We stayed for 3 nights during our visit to Sorrento and the hotel is stunning. They have really classy and tastefully designed interiors. We stayed in the junior suite, the room was spacious and bright with its own wraparound balcony which boated an outside jacuzzi bath, sun loungers and a table and chair. The views are stunning and the staff were just incredible and could not do more to make our stay perfect. The attached restaurant is a must-visit and the breakfast is very very good. Absolutely 100% worth staying and we will certainly come back again!

This property is in am incredible location. The views and balconies are incredible.

However, our room had a bad odor eminating out from the bathroom that got continually worse as our stay progressed (we stayed 4 days). The staff swemed surprised when we broufht it up and saod they would look into it. They said thwy fixed it after we came back from am excursion but never said how. The smell quickly came back.

In addition, everytme we called room service or the front desk they had to call us back later because they didn't know how to help us and had ro ask somebody (even just for simple drinks like amaretto).

Housekeeping also would only partially freshen up our room. We had to constantly ask for towels,.or soap, or water, even after they had serviced the room.

Overall,.the staff was friendly but did very helpful. When we asked for a taxi to town or a car service ww asked foe only those who took cards but they kept setting us up with those who didn't take cards.

This place has potential but really missing out on the important details that falls in line with a luxury resort on the Amalfi Coast.

From before even stepping onto the property we were treated with the most incredible service. Luana & Maria would respond to any email regarding our stay, reservations, or bookings promptly. They were beyond helpful with planning our itinerary and guiding us. They recommended boats for a trip along the Amalfi Coast & activities such as olive oil tasting, cooking classes, & lemon garden tours. Once we arrived to the property we were greeted with warmest smiles and services. The hotel itself was stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, & Sorrento. The rooms were large, spacious, and very clean. Housekeeping always brought us anything and everything we needed. Every morning at breakfast, Valentina, George, & Max would have the biggest smiles and provide us with anything and everything we needed. By the 3rd day of our stay, they would bring our coffees out without us even asking, which was a testament to the hotel’s attention to each guest. The staff down by the beach club and up at the Sunset Bar too were very kind and provided us with exceptional service. We dined at Restaurant Lorelei & the service and food we got there too was exceptional. Mariana explained each dish very well with so much detail, Pepe was helpful with guiding us with the wines, and George, once again, provided us with great service. My family & I had the most amazing 6 nights at Hotel Lorelei Londres. Every meal, sunset, and staff member exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return

Not a bad thing to say about the property BUT I strongly suggest not booking any excursions through the hotel. We booked a private driver and tour guide for Vesuvius and Pompeii through the hotel. Our private driver was a disaster…not even knowing we were supposed to go to both destinations. After taking us to Pompeii, he basically refused to take us to Vesuvius and instead took us to a restaurant of his choosing and then to a coral factory which was basically his attempt to get us to buy jewelry we didn’t want and then cutting the trip short by 2 hours. He tried to tell us that Vesuvius was closed due to high winds which was not substantiated by the Vesuvius National Park website. Even though I complained upon return, the hotel gave us a token discount. In the end we paid 550 Euros the cost of Vesuvius park tickets for a trip to Pompeii and back…very disappointing given the level of hotel and unfortunately was a black mark on an otherwise pleasant stay.

It is a small boutique hotel and the amenities are less that what you would find in other 5 star hotels. This hotel gets a great review from me due to the Restaurant within the hotel. Food and service by wait staff were of high quality, warm and caring. They do room service using the same kitchen as well. When traveling for a long stretch, great food in your room is a nice welcome and this hotel delivered !

It is a beautiful hotel, situated a few minutes walk from Sorrento centre. It is on the cliff edge, so the views of Sorrento, Naples and Vesuvius were amazing. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have stayed in when travelling. The hotel has recently been refurbished so looks amazing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Being a Michelin star restaurant, all the food was exceptional. Even breakfast was a huge step up from any hotel you normally eat in! A truly great hotel all round.

This hotel was AMAZING! There is not a single thing we would change. The staff is incredibly friendly, the view is breathtaking and the rooms are beautiful. When we told them we were there for our honeymoon, they surprised us by putting a bottle of champagne in our room! They cleaned our rooms twice a day (made the beds/switched our towels etc) which was really nice as it was pretty warm so sometimes we would shower multiple times during the day. The hotel is a quick 10 minute (max) walk to the center of town, which was great as it gave us a chance to get a few steps in! It’s also only about 3 minute walk from a historic lemon grove (which we visited) and 5 minute walk from the train station. All in all, this hotel was amazing and we can’t wait to go back!

We splurged for a family birthday and it was worth it for the private beach and private jacuzzi. Very clean and spacious room and quick walk into town. Staff were very helpful.

All aspects were superior and welcoming. The staff and the accommodations were so superb. I cannot say enough of the attention to details and willingness to help us during our stay. Our room was beautiful. Each morning our breakfast was outstanding and the staff was so kind and attentive. We would love to stay again and will definitely recommend.

Beautiful property and truly a Five star hotel. Very few hotels provide quality VIP upgrades, this hotel gave a welcome drink, room upgrade, free Wi-Fi, late checkout, and discount on food. Other hotels maybe a glass of wine that is 20 percent off. If I’m in the area I will visit again.

Stayed over the festive season. Staff attentive, extremely polite and super effectient. Breakfast had a vast selection. Well cooked & presented. Location on the cliff top had fantastic views from the room balcony and from the hotel grounds. Short walk into the town.

Great views amazing staff

Staff is amazing. Location is perfect very close to main square. We love the Square for shopping, desserts and Xmas decorations so beautiful. Sorrento is a lovely place to stay and our hotel is best location and view.
