The hotel felt very welcoming and especially Christmassy at this time of year! All if the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us.
The breakfast buffet was extravagant with plenty of options although I felt £69 was very steep for one adult and a child (who hardly ate anything)! I would have expected this to included in the room price as this was already over £400 per night with additional tax of £21 per night on the chevk out. These 'hidden extras' would make me a bit reluctant to book again. The evening meal was very expensive as I had libster spaghetti but there were only 3 tiny pieces of lobster in a big bowl of pasta for £49.

The service was exceptional, also the food and cocktails. The place was really well decorated and looked elegant. Apart from one waiter at breakfast being a bit rude giving me the check without telling me no need to rush then saying goodbye to me in a kind of miserable way all staff delivered exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to people and will go back one day for sure.

We love Four Seasons Hampshire so much! This was our 4th stay and it was as excellent as ever. This is a five star hotel so be prepared for five star prices, but the staff and service make it all worth it. We’ll be back next summer and are already looking forward to it

Two nits:

First, they used to have an art sculpture on the front lawn that has been sold to a guest. I was sorry to hear this, but really think the front lawn needs another piece. Hoping we’ll see one when we visit again.

Second, we had prepaid for the room and I was a little surprised to see a -25 pound service charge added per day. I don’t begrudge the staff being recognized and compensated, but this seemed a little sneaky.

These are both minor issues and we will be back, but I wanted to point them out.

We spent my birthday weekend at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire and loved every minute. Our room was spotless and cloud‑soft, with countryside views that drew us onto the estate’s miles of walking trails. Between strolls we dipped into the airy indoor pool and the outdoor Jacuzzi that faces rolling fields.
Dinner was a highlight: a perfectly creamy risotto, capped by the staff gathering to sing “Happy Birthday.” Later that evening, the bar surprised me with a complimentary signature cocktail—another thoughtful touch. We also had the afternoon tea which tasted superb, the pastries were creative and enjoyable yet not too sweet.
Warm service, pristine rooms, top‑notch facilities, and those extra birthday gestures made this stay truly special.

Amazing short stay with the family

I had a short staycation with my wife and son. Overall, the hotel was nothing short of amazing!
We were very well catered for, free valet parking, amazing gluten free food choices - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was covered in fresh flowers which were amazing.
This hotel caters extremely well for children, with its own child's pool and play facilities inside out.
Would 100% stay again.

Always on my mind

Fabulous stay! A lot of though has gone through during the planning of the hotel setup. Facilities were top notch. My wife and I totally loved the food options and we made a point to try almost all of them. The Sunday roast was one not to be missed. The bar had a great team and absolutely loved the cocktails! Definitely be back if we are in the area.

Had a very bad experience with the valet at this property. They unfortunately have a prejudice, some guests were greeted with open arms, umbrellas and speedy service. Other guests like ourselves were left to sit out in the rain and had to call the hotels main line to send someone out. Wouldn’t of minded but to see others receive the service we didn’t, don’t quite understand we also had a patient with us and chose this establishment as said illness meant we couldn’t travel abroad. Have been fortunate enough to travel to majority of the four seasons worldwide. I don’t think this property upholds four seasons standards at all. The spa is very disappointing and staff do not greet you when walking around the premises. Definitely a wasted journey of precious time for our family.

The hotel and staff are very good and the facilities are great. If you are a family with young children, this is an amazing hotel. If you are a couple, be prepared to be surrounded at dinner, in the bar and at breakfast by crying toddlers running around. There should be a lot more consideration about where people are sat for dinner; we were surrounded by three tables of tired children who did not give us a moments peace. Watch out for overcharging when leaving, we were billed for someone else’s drinks and charged £22 for asking the buffet breakfast staff if there were any eggs. They did remove the charges in the end.

My husband gifted me the stay for my birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed my time. The hotel surprised use with an upgrade, and they even had prepared a birthday cake for me.
The facilities and grounds are beautiful, with plenty of options to walk and discover the Hampshire countryside.
Under the current Covid rules one needs to book into the restaurants for dinner and breakfast, as well as reserving time slots to use the pool and spa area. All were available at our requested times though, and it never felt too crowded. I would recommend the property to anyone who is looking for a luxurious getaway.

We would love to return. Lovely stay.

We returned after staying in the summer because we enjoyed it so much. Rooms have been refurbished
, with comfortable modern interior, large TV and lovely bathroom. The service was warm and friendly, excellent breakfast! They gave us an upgrade, a birthday treat for my niece, gifts for the children, excellent children’s pool as well as spa and fitness facilities for adults. Excellent and efficient service by staff. Food quality very high, comparable to top restaurants in London. Great for families, kids amenities and meals provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to return.
The bedrooms have been recently modernised and refurbished.

The hotel was extremely busy with many events, guests arriving in cars and helicopters, swimming pools were very busy at times. At the moment, it may not be an ideal time to visit if you are a couple or a group of adults looking for a quiet stay.

Hidden gem in the UK

Magnificent hotel with lots of excellent facilitie

We only came for Two days but felt as if I had been away for a week.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful , the rooms are magnificent and luxurious with super comfortable beds and luxuries toiletries.We were upgraded to a heritage room which overlooks the gardens.
There’s a fabulous spa Where I had a really relaxing massage.
Additionally there is an outdoor Jacuzzi and an indoor swimming pool with plenty of beds so that you can relax either inside or outside in the sunshine we were very lucky that the weather was super!
Besides the gym and fitness rooms the hotel offers a varied selection of classes and you can avail yourself of the bikes and cycle around the property.
Other facilities include a children’s play area also a type of go ape style adventure course and horseriding.
If that sounds too energetic you can always go for a lovely walk around the gardens and into the beautiful walled garden with the magnificent flowers.
Just before we headed back home we Booked to do some clay pigeon shooting besides being so much fun the instructors was so nice and patient and friendly and I really really enjoyed it.
I can’t wait to come back thank you so much

Historic manor house with modern rooms added to a high standard. We paid extra to stay in the historic main building and that was worth it. The modern rooms are furnished to a high spec but felt a bit like an upmarket conference room. Apparently before Covid they rented out the whole hotel for weddings and I can imagine that would work well. Beautiful walk along a historic canal nearby and Odiham is a cute village. Four Seasons knows how to train its staff and the food was good, though the restaurant was a bit casual for our liking.

Having stayed in some of the most fabulous hotels in the world and other four seasons hotels I must say I was taken aback by the sloppy service of the restaurant staff and the quality of food. The staff are pleasant enough but not well trained for five star Service. If you are a foodie please stay away you will be disappointed.

Excellent service from the moment we arrived. However, in terms of value for money this place is not great. Food was very expensive and whilst no major issues, there were small things such as the mattress seemed a bit tired, the plug in the bathroom was faulty and these are things you would not expect for the money you pay. Other issues were that the food whilst good quality was extremely expensive and most of the toys in the childrens play room were broken or incomplete - this isnt a huge cost but it seemed like a real lack of effort was put into maintaining this so was quite disappointing.

Amazing grounds, service and the restaurant is lovely. Some tiny things need to be improved like the room service quality is very different to that of the restaurant. The cutlery is also rather old, used in room service and needed a bit of an update. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Stayed 1 night to celebrate hubbys 50th birthday. Check in was 3 pm but had to go to reception to enquire if room ready by 330. As not long there wanted to make most of it. Upgraded room& it was amazing. Doggie bowl, food & bed which was nice touch but at £35 a night fit dug I think that’s overpriced....
Bed was so comfortable, spacious room & bathroom. Spacious changing room & so quiet. Went out for dinner to a local pub so didn’t eat in Hotel. Lots of choices of coffee & tea supplied. I used the spa which was amazing but as checkout was 11 although managed to stay till 12 without charge. I didn’t get long enough to enjoy. Dogs very welcome everywhere & lots of grounds to walk them.

Incredible facilities for guests, including a dedicated children’s pool with slide and splash play. Plus an indoor 25m pool leading to an outdoor pool with various massage jets. Gents’ steam/sauna/showering facilities were also first class and presumably the ladies’ were identical.

You could borrow bikes for adults and kids, there was a complimentary kids’ club, and the guest rooms were beautiful, yet traditional. Not contemporary as it would not be suitable in this setting, but absolutely 5*.

Staff were attentive, professional and friendly. Had one problem with speed of service/food in the healthy restaurant near the pool that was rectified by management immediately.

Would highly recommend this as a relaxing break in the countryside with 5* facilities and 5* staff.

Fantastic location if you want to chill from london as we did. we did the falconry, bike riding and used the spa/pool. Food was excellent the staff were very friendly however the service was not up to four seasons, very slow. The only gripe we had would be the service / attention of the staff. But all in all great place.

Amazing facilities for my two children, they had a blast in Sharkies Reef! A beautiful hotel, amazing size room and very clean bathroom,bed etc. Staff were so friendly, kind and helpful! It was my daughter’s 6th birthday and there was a cake and cookies upon our arrival. Really made our trip special. Thank you! Can’t wait to return!

Very relaxing weekend

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Four Seasons. The hotel, facilities and location were perfect. Whilst the Snow hampered the use of the wider facilities we enjoyed the Spa and other hotel amenities. Dinner in wild Carrot was beautiful and the breakfast plentiful with high quality ingredients. The spa was small but very clean and of a general high standard. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back in the summer.

Shame my son 8 could not use the outdoor vitality pool even though he is a good swimmer and I was there to supervise. Also odd that he wasn’t able to walk through the women’s changing room to the pool with me - aged 8!

Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at in terms of looking after children in each and every aspect of the stay, food, activities, attention and attitude etc. (our little guy had a blast), while still evidently respecting and catering very well for romantics and solos. Not what was expected

We expected a lot more from a Four Seasons. The service was incredibly slow and the food was quite mediocre. On the first day we ordered two eggs Benedict from the a la carte breakfast menu. They arrived after 45mins and were over done. On the second day we ordered two Caesar salads and a soup from The Library which one again took 45mins to arrive. It was clear that we were not the only ones with the issue as many were complaining.
On both days we used the spa but found that the floor of the pool was very dirty, covered in dirt and grout.
On a positive note, the bedroom was in great condition and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. It was just a shame that the service really let us down.
