The Lismoyne Hotel, a charming 18th-century country house, welcomes you to Fleet. A short walk from the town center, this stunning property features beautiful English gardens shaded by a majestic 300-year-old sequoia tree.

Each of the 62 individually styled bedrooms offers unique comforts, from roll-top baths and four-poster beds in the original building to scenic garden views in newer rooms. All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities.

Our restaurant and bar serve delicious, seasonal menus crafted by our Head Chef using locally sourced produce whenever possible. We happily accommodate individual dietary needs and offer a wide selection of wines, beers, ciders, and a curated gin list.

Lovely property and we thoroughyl enjoyed our stay. Dined in one night and ordered room service another and the food was delicious on both occasions. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional, especially the receptionists. It's tucked away just far enough from Fleet centre to be peaceful and quiet, yet close enough (10min walk from the high street) to take advantage of the restaurants and shops.

My only gripe (which doesn't detract from the stay at all) was that there were no UK mains sockets by the bed. Just the old-style round plug sockets for lights.

Stayed here a few times over the years, but the disappointment came with the poor quality mattress. Room 5 which is a nice room has a very soft mattress which gave no support.
The staff as usual were very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean though the bathroom could do with having a tidy. Grey masking tape and messy plastic plumbing can easily be seen.

Good Hotel but ………….

Lismoyne Hotel is not a 5 star hotel but it is in a class of its own. Situated in a quiet, serene and neat environment, the hotel gives a very good attraction to lodgers.
The waiters and waitresses that attended to us during our two nights stay were humble, approachable and dutiful and the food was delicious.
The problem with this hotel that may not allow us patronise it next time are the radiators in the 4 double rooms booked by my group. Turned to the highest level, they were so lukewarm that we had to suffer cold during our stay. The worst of it was the attitude of a lady at the front desk whom I complained to but did nothing to help. Her attitude was cold.
If radiators in 4 rooms did not work well, I wonder what the situation in others will be. My consolation is that the experience was not in the winter.
If the hotel management will rectify the heating problems and call some of the front desk crew to order, the hotel will be the toast of future lodgers.

Beautiful setting, close to town but feels like it’s in the country. The hotel is dated, wallpaper peeling in public rooms, window frames rotten. Gaps in window frames. Marks on the bath from age. Seats in conservatory are rickety. Service at breakfast is slow. No fresh fruit, only defrosted berries. Quality of cooked food was good. Staff do their job but not very welcoming except girl in the bar who was lovely.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Lismoyne Hotel in Fleet, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. This hotel was a lovely place to stay. Tucked away in a quiet location within its own grounds, yet close to the centre of Fleet. There was a warm, cosy atmosphere and the staff were very helpful.
Both the bar menu and the restaurant menu were good value, nicely presented and very tasty.
Our room was equipped with all the necessary supplies and the bed was very comfortable.
The only slight disappointment was that we could hear snoring from the neighbouring room. However that did not disturb us unduly.
We would definitely recommend this establishment.

Receptionist was very helpful however it turned out I coukd have booked the room cheaper by going direct. The room was very cold, took 6 hrs to get up to an acceptable temp after turning heating up. The bathroom was even colder with only a small heated towel rail. To make it worse it had ceramic tiles which were so cold they made your feet hurt if in there for a few minutes. Food was good, however incredibly slow tryi g to get drinks from the bar. Gave up twice.

I had booked an executive room but it was anything but. The room was large but stark with little furniture one central light no lamps. The headboard/bed surround was large and wooden and contributed to the austere feeling and housed a pathetically dim bedside light. The windows had heavy net curtains and couldnt be opened. Couldnt stand up properly at the sink in the bathroom due to the slanting roof. The room is not somewhere you want to spend any time in. Restaurant was closed so had something to eat in the cold, unwelcoming conservatory. Food was poor. £18 for a lamb dish that had missing ingredients. Breakfast was so-so. Wouldnt stay here again.

When we arrived my husband could not climb the stairs and no lift in the hotel so we were quickly offered a downstairs suite which was a nice size and the bed was so comfortable which was a big thing for us. The receptionist was a very friendly person with a great attitude and very approachable The only niggles we had was not having bedside lamps and no coasters to put our hot drinks in as did not want to mark the furniture. But
not a major problem. This is an old hotel with character and worth a stay

But; that was a minor inconvenience. Also; person booking should validate they got the B&B rate because I got it the 1st week but Expedia didnt add it the 2nd.

The building is very old, with the original rooms quite tired looking. There's no lift and the walk upstairs to the top level was heavy going. The newer part of the hotel is fine, the staff are very nice, the bar area is pleasant and the food is good. Not expensive, so overall good value.

Evening meal from the bar menu was very disappointing though breakfast was good.
The room was tired and the central heating not working properly so there was an auxiliary heater in the room which did the trick, though I think it needed testing. The bathroom was very tired and the taps and shower head had just about had it. For all that it's in need of a refurb it was very clean and the staff were lovely. I feel it was a little over-priced. That said, if I was staying ion the area again I would probably have no issues staying there again. The Premier Inn down the road was a little cheaper but didn't include parking or breakfast. Both of these were included at the Lismoyne and the breakfast was cooked to order and quickly too. If they sot the taps, put batteries in the TV remote (Such a common issue!!!) and give the evening chef a kick up the back side, I would have enjoyed my stay a lot more. Oh and the walls between rooms seem a bit thin so definitely NOT the place for a weekend of passion! It doesn't help that the website promises so much but the reality falls some way short.

I was ignored at check-in by 2 members of the team who clearly worked there but chose not to try and find someone to check me in. I then rang the bell and some one came out but she took a while to get me set up. She had to make a call and have someone physically come down to confirm if the room was ready. Seemed very backward.

However the rest of the stay was pleasant nothing to complain about nothing to shout about. A very basic experience.

A nice hotel with pretty grounds and a decent outdoor dining / garden area. Some parts of the hotel are starting to look tired and dated with the rooms in particular having aesthetic issues such as small tears in wall paper, rawl plugs on show from where furniture has moved. The biggest issue was that the sound really travelled between rooms with a particularly noisy neighbour making a phone call at 5am and I could hear every word. I liked the hotel overall and the food was very good and excellent value. I would stay again as it was excellent value.

Nice relaxed atmosphere and a nice setting. I liked the vibe coming from this place, it was very relaxing.
When the weather gets hot though, the rooms are very uncomfortable so that is the only reason why I wouldn’t stay here in high summer.

Pleasant clean hotel room but lacked some space, shower room was extremely small making using the toilet very tricky and the bed was set between 2 walls so if you are tall, you would struggle to lay flat.

Disappointing,

Dated and needs an uplift. The drains in the bedroom created an unpleasant smell. I would have expected a basic bottle of water to be provided in the room.
We ordered a selection of meals to the room which were not enjoyable, the worst camembert I have ever had, the card on the food tray asks to call reception to have the tray collected, which we did from my mobile as the room phone doesn't work, however the tray remained uncollected in the corridor for over 24hrs.
The bottom sheet on the mattress was a duvet cover?
The leaf blowing man starts 9am prompt, and is continuous, whilst he is wearing ear defenders the guests are not....
The breakfast was the best part of our stay although you feel a little intrusive.
