The hotel is a 7 min walk to the metro with a 35 min trip into central Milan (1 hr to Rho Fiera if attending Salone / design week like I was). I found the room comfortable and exceptionally clean, very simple but it fit my needs. Breakfast had a good variety of pastries, toast, cold cuts, eggs and of course endless coffee prepared to order. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Friendly and helpful staff. Didn't like the location as it was very noisy because of the surrounding traffic . Metro trains stopping 2 stop before the hotel stop after 9 pm fir some strange strange reasons and you have to take a bus and waste 1 hour to get to the hotel or pay for a taxi as well as train. Not much shops or restaurants nearby. Didn't like the location overall.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with 2 double-bed rooms. The price was not cheap probably due to the Milan Expo period, but there were many plus points that left us good impression of the place.

This hotel was way out of the way to get back to the airport. The room was fine but they did not tell us that the food in the fridge was a bar tab. We thought it was complimentary. Parking was not good and getting into hotel was inconvenient. Also to get wifi was a pain.

Was unhappy with always having to get a code from the tv to use the internet. The tv went out and had to wait for service, but then was given a code for 24 hours, not the usual 3 hours. Staff was friendly breakfast was good.

Good quality with a few minor issues

The breakfast was of excellent quality. The service is nice, the attitude of the staff is very good. Unfortunately, one can hear airplanes at night. Also, the bathrooms are very old and not very nice looking. Our bathroom had a very tiny tub with a very low shower (160 cm,) not for taller people. For what it is, an older hotel, they are doing a very good job.

Basic but unpretentious with excellent staff

The hotel doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't - it's basic but clean, tidy and the staff are helpful and friendly.
It has a very welcoming feel and I'd have no hesitations staying there again.
If you're looking for the lap of luxury then this isn't the hotel for you but if your budget is a little more modest then look no further.

Long taxi ride from Milan's central train station, but even longer ride to Linate airport!
Hotel stay itself was pleasant though. Desk staff couldn't have been more helpful. Great little restaurant next door.

"excellent value for money"

This hotel is only 7 km from Linate airport and the quality of the rooms and the breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff are as good as many other 3 star hotels I stayed in Milan, but cheaper than city centre hotels.

The taxi from the airport cost me 25 euro because I arrived late at night) but after that all the travels I made were with the Metro which is extremely cheap (1 or 2 euros per trip). The Metro stop is 5 minute walk from the hotel and it takes 20 minutes to the Duomo. Very convenient, and much cheaper compared to city centre hotels.
While the suburb it is located in is not a touristic place, there is a huge supermarket across the (busy) road nearby. So if one prefers to buy food and eat quietly in the room - it is extremely convenient.

There is nothing fancy about the hotel, but overall it is excellent value for money.

The hotel itself was clean and tidy. Relatively easy to get to considering the distance to travel to central Milan.
The location while not ideal for what we were looking for (too far to walk to central Milan). Was easy to get to by metro.
The staff were helpful and pleasant and even allowed our friend to check in early although the booking was not in her name and we were going to meet later in the afternoon.
The cost was a selling point and if not worried about travel time approx 10 stops from Centrale on Metro. Arcobaleno could be for you. It is an industrial style area however it was quiet compared to some of the hotels we stayed in Milan city.
Would recommend if you have a car or want to be outside of the town itself.

Great Value Hotel

My fiance and I stayed here when visiting Milan for the Italian Grand Prix. As this is an expensive weekend for hotels in Milan we couldnt afford more than a 3* hotel slighlty outside the city. This hotel was an excellent choice. Whilst there is nothing of note to see or do around the hotel, it is very convenient for the Metro which is only 15 mins ride to the centre of Milan and runs til gone midnight. The staff were very friendly and helpfull with most staff knowing enough English to communicate well where my broken Italian failed! The hotel room was very clean and well serviced every day. The air con was excellent. Quiet and quick to cool the room. Only issue we really had was that the roomed smelled like it had been a smoking room once upon a time when we asked for non-smoking. It wasnt that bad though and certainly wouldnt put me off. Surrounding area felt safe and was quiet at night. If you are looking for a clean & comfortable base from which to explore Milan without breaking the bank for anything flash, this is perfect. Thanks!

Very friendly staff. Fine location, metro station nearby, easy access to midtown.
The room was old but nice and the towels and sheets were nice and clean. The room could have been more clean, there were a lot of dirt under the bed and in the corners.
The breakfast was ok and the coffee was great.

La mia famiglia ed io abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questa struttura che si trova in una posizione strategica dovuta alla vicinanza della stazione della metropolitana e della disponibilità nel posteggiare l'auto. Se proprio devo fare un appunto l'albergo avrebbe bisogno di cambiare gli infissi e la porta del bagno nella camera. Il personale molto disponibile e gentile.

Abbiamo alloggiato per un'unica notte. Tuttavia, abbiamo avuto modo di vedere la gentilezza di tutto il personale, dal check-in fino al check-out. La stanza era spaziosa e ricca di servizi (kit bagnodoccia, asciugamani, possibilità di usufruire del servizio lavanderia e frigobar). Mi ha colpita particolarmente la pulizia di questo hotel. Sia la camera da letto che il bagno erano puliti e in ordine. La colazione al mattino è stata particolarmente gradita dopo una giornata frenetica a Milano.

La belle surprise

Je suis arrivé à l'hotel vers 23H30... sans avoir averti de mon arrivée tardive.
J'ai été reçu par le réceptionniste de nuit vraiment adorable de gentillesse.
Arrivé dans ma chambre j'ai été de suite surpris par la taille plus que correcte de celle-ci, TV écran plat, mini frigo,wiffi etc...
Après une courte mais douce nuit je suis allé au petit déjeuner "buffet".
4 personnes au service et un vrai buffet avec tout et en quantité.
Le buffet était rechargé toute les 10 minutes et le personnel super gentil et agréable.
Le seul défaut de cet établissement est la distance par rapport au centre de milan, 30 min de métro mais l'hotel est situé à 500 mètres de ce métro.
Pour le prix, c'est imbattable.
Merci encore.

Gli ascensori sono esterni, quindi quando fa freddo si percepisce il cambio di temperatura tra dentro e fuori. Parcheggio a pagamento. Animali ammessi senza supplemento. Ottima colazione con caffè espresso e cioccolatino. All'arrivo gradito aperitivo di benvenuto alcolico e non.

Hotel personnel was very nice. I received a welcome drink. It may be a challenge to park a car at hotel parking as the gate was pretty narrow. Breakfast was basic, however it matched to price I paid for accommodation. On overall nice place. If I will need to go to that area I will probably book the same hotel.

O hotel fica em Vimodrone, cidade a leste de Milão, próximo ao Hospital San Rafaelle, quase em frente a um centro comercial (Auchan) e a cerca de 5 minutos a pé do metrô, localização que atendia a nosso interesse. O staff é bem cordial e profissional, o café da manhã é muito bom, mas o hotel precisa ser remobiliado e o banheiro reformado.

Nice small hotel and no noise during nights from traffic, Really nice and friendly staff. Perfect location for Monza Formula 1 race, only 12 kilometers drive to the P spaces in Monza. Also perfectly close to Linate, only 12 milometers drive.

J'étais dans une chambre au Rez-de-chaussée, côté route. Énormément de bruit provenant de la rue et de l'intérieur de l'hôtel étaient audibles dans la chambre car pas d'isolation phonique (vitres simple vitrage, murs très fins...). Je n'ai presque pas dormi. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

Per un viaggio di lavoro è stata una soluzione ottimale, vicino all'area dove ero occupato, personale cordiale, camere pulite, bagno di recente ristrutturazione. Colazione con bevande calde fatte al momento e non da macchinette self service, buffet dolce e salato minimale ma sempre rifornito con croissant caldi. Purtroppo la zona è un po' rumorosa e di notte si sento passare le auto, per me non è stato un problema ma da tenere in considerazione a chi può dare fastidio.
