they don't have air condition at list on the room I was assigned to, so you must left the window open and it was a lot of noise around the hole night and the shower 🚿 it wasn't working properly...

Ac in room didn’t work, Tv didn’t work they changed us to a different room next day the room they changed us had a used soap in the shower from last person staying there. Breakfast used to be a Mexican food buffet now they only offer chilaquiles with Coffee other drinks (juice) is an extra cost . Hot Tub ( Jucuzzi) out of service. No pool towels around the pool area.

El restaurante me pareció excelente. Buen desayuno incluido y buena atención del personal del lobby y del restaurante. La habitación: pésimo mantenimiento y limpieza. Toallas y sábanas muy deterioradas y sucias. Había fuga de agua en la tubería del lavamanos, lo que hizo que el piso estuviera mojado todo el tiempo.
La cortina desprendida, y aunque teníamos vista al mar, no se disfrutó porque la ventana estaba súper sucia.
De hecho reporté todo esto en la recepción. Espero pongan atención a estos detalles.

CHECK OUT TOOK FOREVER.
WE HAD TO LEAVE AN ID TO GET A HAIR DRYER OR EVEN AN IRON.
NO HOT WATER AND WATER PRESURE WAS TERRRIBLE.
JACUZZI WASNT WORKING.

First of all there is no air conditioner in your room no microwave or fridge. There is no blanket only sheets to sleep with. The service is horrible. The parking is bad there no parking to park every day you running to get parking. Its so cold there. The whole hotel needs a update looks like 1980s. The walls are thin. The shower water turns cold on you while showering. I don't recommend this to people.

Breakfast was not good. I was obligated to pay for 12 year old as an adult and had to order my kids breakfast à la carte if I wanted food for them. And when I went with my 12 year old for the breakfast we had to pay for with stay they had no option but coffee for drink. I asked if my daughter could drink something else other than coffee and they said no, that I had to pay for it. My child does not drink coffee and yet I have to pay for her breakfast when really it doesn’t cater to her likes as a CHILD. They had had fruit and other things out but that was for additional charge. The room was dated, stains in sheets, window is a BIG DANGER if you have little ones, they open WIDE OPEN, huge windows WIDE OPEN, any kid can just climb right out. Smells like mold. Lobby Elevators stopped working and only parking elevator which was small worked. We were on a higher floor so we had to be waiting for elevator for a long time if we wanted to go up or down. Parking spots in lower level garage had really small spaces, not ideal for SUVs, it was really tight for my midsize SUV so we just risked parking on the street. Pool area, not well
Maintained, don’t go barefoot, pool is cold, tiny pool looks like jacuzzi but it’s also cold. Things all over the hotel were dated, broken or falling apart. This hotel STILL has popcorn ceilings!!! Oh and they don’t provide ice for you. Will never stay here again. Only good thing is the location.

Very outdated, parking was limited, the beds were hard, no hair dryer, we were missing towels to shower and when we asked the receptionist she gave me the worst attitude! I would never stay here! No AC so we have to open windows which is fine but no screen. So unsafe

Great lactation ONLY!
They do have parking but the parking spots are extremely small and not many spaces. If you have a larger vehicle or parking is full you will need to park on the street.
There was no hot water in our shower and there’s no phones in the room. We had walk all the way down to the front desk to advise and nobody EVER came to check.
Staff is terrible, check-in took just shy of an hour. They over charged me and needed to refund me. The elevators don’t work and max ocupan for the elevators is 4 when they do work. The pool closes early most days. The continental breakfast they offer is terrible! The font desk did not give my kids their brackets so they were not able to grab breakfast because of a mistake THEY made. The staff hounds you about having your bracelets on.

Toilet ran all night even after they fixed it, only 2 small bath towels available but 2nd day got a hand towel. Elevators broke down but after awhile had 2 running for whole building so spent alot of time waiting or had to take stairs. No air conditioning and partial ocean view was a small corner of the beach half mile away. Breakfast was the same everyday- beans, chilaquiles, eggs, vegetables and coffee that’s it. On the upside, location was one block from beach.

There was no air conditioning but it was fresh so that wasn’t an issue. The staff were not friendly and didn’t know what they were doing. The person “helping” with the luggage was only helping the people who he thought had money. He started getting mad at me on everything I was doing even though I was getting my own luggage. He got mad at me for where I parked my car so I moved it where everybody else had their car and he was still getting upset at me. at one point he almost started yelling until he heard my husband on the phone. he calmed down after and pretended I misunderstood him. Once I was about to leave I saw him being super friendly to others that had their car where I had mine even though he said I couldn’t be there. My car was where all the cars were to take out their luggage. The people in the front were rude in general. Even the people who park your car were biased. They helped A lady with a really big truck that was behind us and the people who parked cars helped her find parking underneath the hotel. They even parked her car and they made us park somewhere outside the hotel without security. It was my first day in Mexico and they really made me feel unwelcome and a burden. The hotel itself had a beautiful room and nice cleaning staff. Other than that I would’ve given it a 0 stars but it’s not the hotels fault it had bad staff.

Terrible front desk customer service,
The girl was trying to charge me 200$ more after she has told us they charge for kids over the age of 12 and i repeatedly told her my kids were under the age of 10, their “buffet” in which they bragged about was for pancakes, eggs, and beans. We got stuck in the elevator. And one of the days the elevator didn’t even work we had to use stairs. Asked for towels, they never came. No tv control.

You cannot beat the location. The room was decent enough, although the elevator didn't work for a few hours (we were on the 6th floor, so it was a little hike, but that's OK because we did not have luggage. Check-in took about 30 minutes, there was only 1 person checking people in, although there were plenty of people behind the counter. Again, you can't beat the location.

Highly do not recommend staying at Hotel Corona in Rosarito. The customer service was terrible from the moment we arrived. The staff at the front desk had a bad attitude and were very unhelpful, especially the feminine guy working there.

The hotel itself is extremely outdated and not well maintained. The biggest issue was that the room keys constantly did not work, and every time we needed help, no one seemed to care or even try to fix the problem. We were left waiting around with zero communication or assistance.

Overall, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. There are much better hotels in Rosarito for the same price. I would not stay here again.

There was no Ac in the room, they gave us a fan to use in the room. Thankfully there was a small window for air. This is more of a 50 dollar hotel. No sprinklers in room for fire safety. Windows inside and out side were filthy. Pool was foggy. Tv didn’t work. One of the elevators was broke down. Waited 20 minutes to check in and at the busiest time one of the employees left. Two towels no wash clothes. No blanket was provided. I know it’s Mexico but don’t charge that much and don’t advertise the lies.

The hotel was very poorly maintained and the staff were unhelpful, rude, and tried to charge me for stuff that I already paid for. The property was very, extremely terribly maintained with a lot of the things there just falling apart. Such as the door to our room would not lock and the sink looked like it would burst and explode for how loose it was. The drain was slow and it felt like it would flood our room. The elevators just broke down out of nowhere (which I thought would happen due to it felling like it would fall.) We had to take the stairs from the 6th floor which the stairs had no railings. They had an event with loud music and a terrible DJ all night long which is very weird for a hotel with people that want to sleep. I do not recommend staying in this trashy, terrible, creepy hotel.
PS: the hotel looks like an old hospital ( which it is) which is very creepy if you hate very an unsettling place (especially at night). >:3

The room was clean, there was only 1 towel for my husband and I. I called front desk and was told that they were going to stop by to drop off a few more towels, no one showed up. The tv had no service and we couldn’t get it to work. I was told that our room was facing the ocean, that was a lie. Went to front desk to ask if we can change our room because we requested an ocean view, front desk responded by saying that they were completely booked and there was nothing available. Besides that, everything else met my expectations. The breakfast was delicious.

We booked our rooms and opted in paying at the hotel. BIG MISTAKE! We arrived at 10am and Oscar rold us we couldn't check until after 3pm. We told Oscar we are going to Ensenada and will be back until 8pm. He told us it was okay. When we arrived, Fernando said they had no more rooms and our rooms were given to other people..Our rooms were canceled. If you book, make sure you pay for the room up front or else you will not have a room. Horrible!!!

I’ve stayed here before the first time breakfast was like a cafeteria u could walk up and get served even seconds. Now they serve you one time and bring it to ur table. Before it had choice of orange juice or coffee now it’s just coffee. I just feel the breakfast is less amazing.

The breakfast was great. They even played music while we were having, with my wife, our chilaquiles!!!!!! My room had a beautiful ocean view and a view of the northern side of Rosarito City. My only problem with the location of our room was the noise caused by the waves on the beach.The noise the ocean makes it’s very loud. I love how the ocean’s breeze makes the weather unique & wonderful in the city but I think the waves are way too noisy, that’s why we love San Felipe Beach instead. Sea of Cortez is sublime & perfect in every aspect.

First time staying at this place through Expedia.

I don't know why they put on the app that a certain room is availble when it's not.

They told us that the ovean view room was not availble and that we would have to go to a double bed room with partial ocean view. This was an \"upgrade\" at no extra cost. (We didn't even need an extra bed).

Then we get to the room and there's no AC, no phone (which is weird), so we can't call them for anything and have to go downstairs to report any issue. Mind you we were at the 5th floor.

Also, the TV wasn't working either.

For what we paid, we didnt't expect the issues listed above.

The only good things were that the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the view was cool. Breakfast was included and starts at 8am. Unfortunately, we had to leave early and didn't get a chance to eat there.

It's also about a 15min walk where all the bars are at. So there's that too.

this message is only for families coming to stay here. I avoid this hotel. If you’re coming by yourself, it is what it is. This hotel is utilized as a day labor hub. So you’re gonna get droves of a bused day labor workers with a little to no respect for families. If you bring kids who are young, there will be kept awake from all the disturbing noises coming from neighboring rooms. Again for a single person or a single person with a significant other, it’s great for budget. For families with children completely avoid.

As far as staff is concerned. It’s nonexistent.

To start we were upgraded to a room with AC. I can say that this hotel has amazing staff. Helpful and the customer service oriented of any upscale hotel!! The room was clean, not spotless but clean. The free breakfast was good. The only thing lacking is a good wash and polish on all the floors. For the price i would definitely say again!

Its was ok, not worth $80 for sure. Could barely see the ocean, we returned to the hotel around midnight and we wanted to shower. There was NO HOT water at all, ran the water for over 45 minutes and NOTHING! water was all over the floor since the curtain didn't protect enough(too short). The breakfast at their downstairs restaurant was awful!
My hubby eats really spicy food but the chilaquiles were UNEATABLE! He was blown away on how extremely spicy they were. They took a long time to serve us (and there were only maybe 3 other couples there, so we didn’t have time to order something different. Just very disappointing.
I wont be returning here…

On Saturday we booked a night, waiting for about 2hrs to check in. When we walked to our room we realized someone was already in our room. We head to the lobby and they move us to a different floor/room. I had paid for an ocean view and a king bed. The new room had no view and two queen bed. I am submitting this review for a price adjustment since the hotel told me to submit this inquiry with whom I booked with.

The service at the restaurant was great. We really liked the free Mexican Style Breakfast. Chilaquiles are my wife’s favorite Mexican dish and that’s exactly what they were serving in the morning. 10 out 10 is my score for their breakfast. Fabulous service. They even served tepache at noon. We want to comeback as soon as we can. The good old US Of A is good but not as good as good as their neighbor South of the border as far as making real Mexican food; and that’s all I got to say about that!!!!!!!

I have told you once and I’m going to tell you again. The waves hitting the sand on the beach are too loud. I prefer a beach that is soundless. Perhaps in a beach where sound wouldn’t travel through the air and I wouldn’t had to listen to any sound. Something like a vacuum. It’s too much wave sound.

The corona plaza is always a good hotel although if a swimming pool is your fun then I suggest another hotel, in the winter their pool is freezing as well as the jacuzzi…. Other than that the service is splendid and they are very friendly and courteous, rooms are clean and the water is hot .
