Clean rooms, comfortable beds, perfect for a family of 6! Location is very central. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Only downside was that we couldn’t leave our bags (we had backpacks only) at the hotel as they were closing for the day. The staff was nice enough to let us know that the information center stores bags for 2 euros.

The view was amazing!! Apartment was clean and bed was very comfortable. Was right at the end of Christmas street so you did have to dodge the tourists at times but what a great street. That being said it made for a bit of a hike with suitcases as you could not be dropped off at the door or picked up. You had to haul your suitcases over cobble stones. There is a new regulation that cars can’t come into the old town or certain cars anyway. That would be my only complaint really and no elevator. That being said I would totally stay here again. Just be aware it’s in a no car zone.

Be careful not to get the ground floor room that we did as it has no castle view. It doesn’t say this explicitly on the listing and with their photos and name you can easily make an assumption. The ground room is also right opposite a bar restaurant where a lot of people will stand outside your window and chat loudly while they wait. Apart from that it is well located and they let us check in earlier which was kind and helpful to us making the most out of our short time here.

Great location in such a beautiful town. However, we were there on a Saturday night and the restaurant across from the apartment had music playing very loudly late into the night. It was a warm day when we were there, but there was a large fan in the room which helped with the heat and the noise. It was very clean and good space though.

We thought we were going to get a room with a view but instead we got a view into the neighbours room and a wall. Tired furnishings with ripped material on the couch. Unhelpful reception who was never there. No air conditioning so very stuffy. We came all the way from New Zealand for this experience- So disappointed!

The apartment is in a great location, just behind the town square and a one-minute walk to the entrance of the pedestrian-only area. Our 2-bedroom apartment has a direct view to the castle. The rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. Despite being in the prime location, it is very quite. We loved that many restaurants and shops are nearby. Our family had a great stay in this place.

Absolute perfect location! You are just off the main square, literally a few steps. Our apartment was huge and incredibly comfortable. The owner of the property was incredibly helpful and efficient. Location, always location. The best of this apartment is the location, in the center of the town with view of castle. Easy to go everywhere on walking. But you have to know that parking lot is far around 10 min walking. Since it's an old town, if you have heavy luggages with you, you need to think about it.

We only stayed 1 night but wish it was longer. We had the ground floor family apartment with 2 bedrooms and small sitting area. The small outdoor balcony looked right at the castle. We didn’t see other units but be prepared for stairs. Of course, the whole town is hilly so stairs in a property isn’t unusual.

Amazing location right in the middle of town, just off the square. Super comfortable room. Staff was very responsive and helpful. You can't drive into the main part of town during the day - it's a pedestrian zone - but they gave us very clear and helpful instructions on how and where to park. Such a charming place - wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel is overrated for 4.5. It should be rated below 3 stars. Plenty of hotels in this town have a castle view. We stayed at the Honeymoon suite and paid the highest price for a room in the entire town without offering breakfast. Upon confirming the registration, we got emails from the hotel asking when we would arrive. They told us they hired a part-time front desk person. They have early checked-out time 10 am. The hotel was located in a dirty alley. There was no elevator for the luggage to be moved up. Parking was even worse. The hotel has the furthest parking spot than all other hotels in the town. We parked and had to walk 15 minutes to go back to the hotel. We passed the entrance to the town, and some other hotels like Ruze and OLD INN have parking spots right there which was much closer. The window facing the castle is very tiny. The furniture does not have good quality. They do have a portable AC in the room. But that AC smells bad probably due to it being opened to another alley. Also, there was a tiny window right above the bed. The lights shined on your face and woke you up in the early morning. Overall please avoid this hotel. The town is absolutely beautiful and there are better hotels at a better price.

The property is in very good condition. It was located right in the middle of the town, only 2 minutes walk to the main town square, 7 minutes walk to the castle. Everything about this property is very good, the only discomfort is the reception. I could not find a smile on the receptionist's face. There was hardly any help when we learned that we mistakenly drove our car to a pedestrian only area. A hotel staff from another hotel was much more eager to help and to give directions. I guess this hotel has had too many visitors, therefore, there is no need to show welcome any more.

What s glorious view of the castle and tower! The Castle View apartments was a generous size for us and our adult children and the baby. It was very clean and well appointed. They do not tidy or service the apartment with extra coffee and tea during the stay, but that was minor. It was a lovely stay in Cesky Krumlov.

The view from our accommodation was like something out of a fairy tale.
The view was beautiful and our room was charming. Its cozy bed and natural illumination served as a replacement for our phone's alarm. It was clean and spacious. The front desk employee was friendly. He made an effort to connect with us in English and saw to it that we had a comfortable stay.

Be aware that this property only accepts cash payments and you have to pay upfront during check in. The unfriendly reception person wanted me to go and find an ATM away from the hotel before I could even fill out my check in paperwork.

The reception was only open a few hours a day, and the area can get very noisy for sleeping.

Dreamy view of castle

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a castle view. The rooms were exactly as pictured on the internet. There was no breakfast available in October when we visited but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The Castle View is located a few yards down the street from the info center at the corner of the main square. You can park there for awhile to check in and bring your luggage.Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy, with a second toilet in a water closet room next to it. The space in the apartment was great but the view of the castle, especially at night, is what makes the apartment special.

The apartment itself was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The views were amazing! However, it is impossible to get to the property by car. The information in Expedia is inaccurate: there is no parking available at this property. You basically have to pay for parking outside of the old part of town and walk with all your luggage through the narrow streets. Also, we never saw anyone at the front desk, so you have to call them if you need any information. Something else that is inaccurately listed in Expedia is check-out time. It says 11 a.m., but it really is 10 a.m. The cleaning staff is very nice.

The suite was nice and quiet while we stayed there. There is one full bathroom and one room with JUST a toilet, no vanity, no sink, just a toilet. This is great of if you’re traveling with little ones who may not be able to wait to use the toilet, but you’re all going to be using the same bathroom to get ready. It’s a GREAT location just steps from the main square. It’s a nice value.

Wonderful historic property in the heart of the city, convenient to everything with helpful front desk staff. Parking was simple and secure and they were able to arrange a nice breakfast option for us nearby. The apartment had separate rooms for my wife and I and our boys, and a living room with a small kitchen. Would've been great for a long stay. Definitely recommended!

When traveling over an extended period, I believe having lodging that provides a bit of extra room makes a big difference in making the trip relaxing and enjoyable. This place gives you multiple options to select what you want in terms of cost and space.

Everything went smoothly during our entire stay and based on what we expected the hotel to provide and what we received, it was a good experience.

The hotel is well situated and given we traveled during a heatwave in Europe, the air conditioning was excellent.

Really enjoyed this wonderful town and this facility.

Loved Cesky Krumlov, but NOT Castle View.

Getting to the hotel was a challenge and people at the hotel were not all that helpful in talking us through getting there. Parking is a hike from Castle View. The room was OK, kudos to the photographer as the photos on the website made the room appear nicer than it was. The people at the hotel were not at all friendly-more like surly. . On the second morning of our stay we woke to a swarm of ants in the room and in the bed. When we told them at check out that there were hundreds of ants coming out of the wall and I could show them where, the reply was that we know where they are coming from and sorry! Seriously? They obviously knew there was an issue with ants in the room. Outside of a less than sincere “sorry” there was no comment. I feel sorry for the next people to stay in that room. Cesky Krumlov is such a gem, it is unfortunate that the swarm of ants at Castle View marred our stay.

take note of check in times as the reception is not 24-7 open. and be ready to lift your luggage up the floors as there is no lift in the building.

This is a nice place but if you are tall you'll have to duck down when entering or exiting the bed. The room is nice and spacious but having to lock and unlock three doors is a pain. There is no staff onsite at all times so it is left up to the guests to lock the doors and one occasion we found none of the doors locked.

Great Spot in Czech!

Castle View Apartments are great. Modern, clean and plenty of room for our family of four during our stay with the two bedroom option. The room we stayed at had a balcony with an awesome view, as the property name suggests, of the Castle tower. The woman who operated the front desk was very helpful and friendly. They have secure parking for guests with cars off site just a short scenic walk away. The town is fun, plenty of little streets to explore with shops and food. Different performers in the town square each day. Besides the Castle, the Photography and Marionette Museums were interesting spots to visit. There's also rafting on the river. The Castle View Apartments let you be in the center of it all.

Stay above the ground floor

A large clean room, but with a window opening up to the street level (not above street level, and no castel to be seen), on a very narrow street and a restaurant with outdoor seating directly across the street. Book a higher floor room than the ground floor!
I also was disappointed that when we went back to pick up our bags after checking out and collecting our car, I asked to use a bathroom, and was told that there are no public bathrooms! We had just checked out!

Location is Fantastic! Room is Fantastic. Well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We absolutely loved everything about this. It would be perfect with Air Conditioning and as such we had the windows open and experienced street noise all night as well as the neighbours TV outside our window. Oh Well, life can't be perfect.

Our check in was made very personable by a lovely lady who looked after us very well.We booked the ground floor studio apartment which faces an outdoor restaurant. However, it was fine for our stay. The location was excellent for walking to all sites. The apartment featured a sink, toaster microwave and felt homely with small table and chairs. The bed was very comfortable. Overall a good choice for our two night stay in this beautiful historic town.

Lovely warm suite in a fairy tale town

Stayed in a honey moon suite and it was absolutely amazing. The room was big and well-decorated with a nice castle view. The staff was very friendly and helpful who also spoke very good English. Overall, it was a great experience ☺️ I will definitely come again in the summer.

This apartment was very nice. We had a 2 bedroom with a patio. It was centrally located near the square. It was clean and had good amenities. The owner Daniel, was very hospitable and helpful. He recommended places to eat, and arranged for us to have breakfast near by. The beds were comfortable. Overall I thought it was a fantastic place to stay in a very charming town.

部屋は1階のスタジオを予約したのですが、他の方が書いている通り、狭い通りを挟んでオープンテラスのレストランがあり、夜10時ごろまでは絶えず話し声がそのまの音量で丸聞こえで、通行人からは部屋が丸見えなのでカーテンは閉めっぱなしにしないとプライバシーも守れず、防犯面も不安でした。
キングサイズのベットにシングルサイズの掛け布団一枚しかないという組み合わせも謎です。ハンガーをかけるフックに大きなくもの死骸があり、衛生面もちょっとないかなと思います。
ペンションとはいえ2万円近い部屋でしたし、到着前に何度もメールを送ってこられ、連絡先の送信や到着時間の連絡やデジタルチェックインの指示をされ、こちらに求められることが多い割に対応に満足できませんでした。
あと、これは良いことなのですが、なぜかエクスペディアの提示した料金より約€10安い金額でした。理由はわかりません。
評価のよいペンションなのでたまたま良くないことがなったのだと思います。

The room was spacious and we had a wonderful view towards the Castle as the name of the hotel. The owner was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and very helpful with many thoughtful recommendations. We truly enjoyed our stay!

방이 넓어서 좋았어요. 내부는 옛날 스타일이예요. 그런데 방 안에 냄비 등의 조리도구가 없어서 조금 아쉬웠어요.
