property was nicely located in Cesky Krumlov. We rented the attic apartment, which was nice as it had its own rooftop terrace. Onlyu downside was it was a very hot time of the year and the A/C in the room was not very effective. Other than that the room was great. Breakfast served in the room was great.

One night getaway

We arrived by regional bus, walked into the town and easily located the hotel. They were accommodating to let us store our backpacks until check-in hour later. We found our own breakfast in the town center and they again stored our bags after checking out. The hotel is small, quaint, and homey. It was a nice experience away from Prague for a night.

It had a back gate that leads to a park, adjacent to the Palace. From this park, you could get a good view fo the palace, especially at night.

The Ametyst at CK

Cesky Krumlov is a great place to visit and this hotel is very close to the bus set down but still within the mediaeval town. Hotel is good with friendly staff. Don't expect expensive furnishings, adequate but inexpensive. Would stay again!

Beautiful Hotel in the Heart of Cesky Krumlov

This is a fantastic little hotel to stay at in Cesky Krumlov. We had the Attic Apartment and it was simply stunning! There was an awesome private patio that had views of the Castle and the town, a small kitchenette a refrigerator full of mineral water, wines, and local beers that were all extremely affordable and the hosts were above and beyond friendly and helpful (one of our traveling party lost his passport somewhere in town and the manager (who's name I'm forgetting at the moment) helped us track it down. I would definitely recommend staying here. It is truly a beautiful space!

This was a last minute booking so I didnt have high expectations from this place. Location was good. It's a small town so anywhere you stay within the town is a good location. You can walk it all in 10 15 mins. The hotel was super loud. You could hear everyone Walking around old boards cracking as people walked on them. The bed was just a box spring no mattress. Hard as a rock. Noisey room because it faced the main street. You have to pay to use the hot tub. 20 euros! Would not recommend staying here.

The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the attic room which was nice and open. There are no services provided by the company, you have to check in at the jewelry shop next door (they own both). They give you the keys and you pay and that's the last of them. Over all good location, only a few minutes walk from everyone. Would recommend for the price

Cute pension in an excellent spot in Cesky Krumlov

The hosts are lovely, helpful and kind. Our room looked exactly like the pictures on the website. The back garden was beautiful. I wish we had had more time to sit there and enjoy a morning coffee.

spacious room and great bathtub size. however we ran out of hot water at 10p at the middle of shower which caused a lot of inconvenience. This happened for 2 nights consecutively. on the third day there was literately no water in the morning. Lack of air con also caused discomfort during hot nights.

Room stated to have city views and pillow top mattress well that was wrong the worst possible bed no view except of the post office across the street. Street noise persisted all night with cars thumping over the cobble stone street. In need of a good make over as it is very tired.

Great location from which to explore Cesky Krumlov

Pension Ametyst was very conveniently located - a short walk from the bus stop. As a solo female traveller - I found it easy to catch the bus from Prague to C-K with only about a 5 minute walk to the Pension from the bus stop. My room was comfy and clean, with a breakfast tray served in the room. I would happily return to Pension Ametyst.

Lovely little hotel but wifi didn't connect

We decided last minute to visit Cesky Krumlov to attend the St. Wenceslas Celebration. I booked this pension and then got the last available seat on a 6 AM bus out of Prague. We arrived in Cesky Krumlov at 9 AM and found the hotel. They had two empty rooms, so let us look and choose which we wanted. We were able to check in early and not have to worry about our luggage was a huge relief! They spoke passable English, so we were able to get everything settled.

The room was very quaint and comfortable. The rooms seemed to have recently been remodeled. The bathroom in particular had new fixtures and lighting, with a heated floor and a spacious tub. Heat in the rooms was by an oil-filled space heater in the room that we could control, and it kept the room comfortably warm. The bed was a \"double\" (which is a king size in American terms) and comfortable. Even my wife, who is more sensitive to different mattresses, slept well. We only spent one night, and they were happy to hold our luggage until 5:30 PM when our bus left.

The only complaint that we had was with the WiFi in the room. From my laptop, I could connect to the wifi, but never get to the Internet. The owner came and looked at my laptop settings and reset the router, but no success. From two iPhones and an iPad, we could not even see the wifi network. I was able to connect my laptop via a cable, so that got us the little access that we needed, but we never could get the wifi working.

good location

Loved the location (easy to get to from the train via a local bus).Room was comfortable, but floors were creaky--however, it is an old building and that is probably pretty common here. Very secure. Bed was not very comfortable. Staff/owner was very efficient, checking us in and giving us good information to explore the town in a very short period of time. WIFI nice touch. No telephone or clock.

Don't know what all the hype is about...

The hotel isn't bad, but nothing great. It has character at least, and is within walking distance of the town center. The biggest annoyance was that the check-in took about an hour, with countless little papers to fill out and annoy the customer with. I'll look for somewhere else next time in Cesky Krumlov.

Fair for how inexpensive it was. From the student express bus from Prague make sure to get off at the first bus stop not the second in Cesky Krumlov. It is super close. We LOVED the area & castle!

Great Little Hotel

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They also own the jewelry store next door, and sometimes need to go there to get a hold of staff. A very good hotel for the budget minded traveller, with a very easy walk from the bus stop. It had all the comforts that one needed in a great town.

Extensive renovations being done caused some inconvenience but I'm sure this is only temporary. Bathrooms were recently upgraded but they forgot to put a place to hang the shower head so the only option was the bathtub. In room breakfast was great. Pictures and decorations were a bit eccentric, but overall very nice.

Not the best value for money

We chose the Ametyst because its so handy for the bus station. And the rooms here are very pleasant and spotlessly clean. The staff are amiable and stored our luggage for us as we were leaving after checkout time. So thanks for that.
But we couldn't actually recommend this pension because for the money we paid we found the breakfast really silly........the worst we experienced in the Czech Republic. You are asked to choose between about seven different combinations, all excluding something quite basic. The system is to deliver it to your room on a tray. Both in size and quality it is a great disappointment and left us completely unsatisfied. We stayed in cheaper places which produced a far more generous and tasty offering.

Great location, needs a bit more work

Things we liked: GREAT location. Literally minutes to the castle, monestry, churches, river and many great restaurants. Bathroom was fabulous - seemingly recently renovated (although no shower holder may be hard for some - just a handheld shower head in the bathtub!) and very clean. Good TV chanels and WIFI. Big room with table and chairs, sofa and small kitchen.

Things we didn't like: The bed wasn't very comfy - soft and lumpy, two single doonas put sideways on the bed (not sure why?!). Photo/image of a topless woman next to the bed (not our personal taste...). Tablecloth had food stains on parts of it. The kitchen which was in the first part of the room wasn't very clean (cups etc were dirty) and it had visible boxes/storage on top of the cupboards.

Also note, paid parking was about 300m away, in a brewery carpark, but was locked at night.

夏天入住雖然有風扇但沒冷氣，整晚關窗有點焗，如開窗有很多昆蟲飛入房間，而且非常嘈吵。地方整潔近巴士站，職員有禮友善，周邊很多商店及餐廳。如果不是怕熱的就沒問題或可選擇秋天入住。整體而言尚算OK.

居心地のいいホテルです。

バス停「スピチェク（バスターミナルのひとつ手前）」から歩いて5分くらいのところにあります。
スタッフはとても親切でいろいろと教えてくれ、清潔で居心地のいいホテルでした。
街の夜は早く、唯一の小さなスーパーマーケットは５時閉店なので、必要なものは早めに買って持ち込む方がいいかもしれません。

My friend and I stayed at this pension for one night. Staff was very nice and friendly. The room was decorated beautifully and was also clean. Breakfast was delicious. Location is also good. I think you can visit Český Krumlov just for one day trip, but I recommend staying at nice pension like this and enjoy the night view as well.

Best of the best if you r carrying luggage

Only 5 minutes walk to <Spicak> stop, if you r carrying luggage, this is your only choice (CK都是石春地, 拖行李箱會很苦). Nice staff. Big and cozy. Nice breakfast (5€ @). Kitchen and self-serve drinks (water, soft drink and beer) are just outside the room. 2 minutes walk to State Castle.

전망 방은 비추, 하지만 나머지는 특별한 앤틱함이 물씬!

일부러 전망 좋은 꼭대기 (다락방)로 예약했는데, 생각보다 하루종일 날이 흐리고 옥상 테라스의 벽이 높아서 전망이 잘 보이지는 않았어요. 그리고 짐이 많은데 4~5층이고 계단이 워낙 많아서 아주 힘들었답니다.
그래도 방이 아주 커서 간이 침대가 4개 정도 더 있어서 짐 놓기도 좋고 여기저기 걸터 앉을 수 있어서 좋았어요. 아주아주 앤틱해서 방 자체가 고급스러운 느낌은 들지 않아요. 조식이 별도로 5유로를 받아서 좀 당황했어요. 숙박비에 포함된 줄 알았는데 말이죠. 그래도 5유로가 아깝지 않을 정도로 조식이 푸짐하고 아주 맛있었어요! 화장실도 따뜻하고 깨끗하고 예뻐요.

Det var et greit rom, men dobbeltsenga stod mot to vegger (ikke fritt rom på begge sider). Vi måtte flytte et bord midt i rommet for å komme på badet. Avløpet i vasken og badekaret var nesten tett. Den ene av oss måtte rengjøre avløpet for å kunne bruke vasken. Det var fire valg for frokosten. Vi fikk servert den ute, og det var noe kjølig i skyggen. Pensjonatet hadde ikke noen frokostsal. Før avreise spurte vi om vi kunne ha rommet litt lenger enn kl. 11 (vanlig utsjekkingstid), men det ble avvist. Vi var de eneste gjester på pensjonatet.

Was apartment style with 2 rooms, bedroom and lounge/dining + bathroom that was tiled-all very dated but in an old building so tidy and clean but not an upmarket hotel-coffee and tea making in your room as well as a shared kitchen in another area-fridge in room-well secured door locks-is on main street at start of entry to old town and we felt very safe and secure- no safe-no lift-no aircon

Mycket trivsamt hotell. Bra läge i Krumlow som var fantastiskt fint (Tyvärr bara genomresa så vi hann inte se så mycket).
Knarrande golv och något lyhört gör att hotellet inte får toppbetyg men det är ett gammalt och trivsamt hus.
Bra frukost på rummet ger extra +.
